Chanyeol's POV

It’s been a week since the agreement that I had with Kris-hyung. It took me a lot of time to think about it. After three days of sleepless nights, I finally agreed with him.

“Hyeri-ah, here have some drink.” I called out to her as she was busy watering the plants in her mom’s garden.

She stood up smiling at the flowers as if she was talking to them. She sighed before speaking. “Oppa, why are you doing this?”

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“You know what I mean. Why do you always visit me here? Why are you wasting so much of your time for your bestfriend’s ex-wife?”

I was taken aback. How will I answer her? Am I going to tell her my agreement with Kris hyung or not?

“So..?” She asked again waving a hand infront of me.

“Well, you’re my friend, I care for you. Isn’t that enough?”

“Oh. Yeah. Of course. ”

After what seems an hour of awkward silence, I spoke first. “Are you not going home to your husband yet?”

“We’re already divorced oppa.”

I inhaled heavily. I don’t know where this would lead, but never mind I just wanted to help them.

“Well, if that was the case.. will you allow me to court you?”

Hyeri’s POV

                Here I am in my own little haven spending some time with my babies. I don’t know why, but lately I feel like I’m addicted to flowers. As in so addicted.

                It’s been awhile since Baekhyun last bugged my parents about my whereabouts. He’s probably tired of me already.  I was sad, but I think it’s for the best. In any case, I was the one who asked for the divorce.

                “I think Chanyeol oppa’s cute. What do you think? But my Baekhyun is way hotter.” I chuckled as I silently whispered to the plants.

“Hyeri-ah, here have some drink.” Chanyeol called out to me and I smiled at the plants before leaving my comfort zone.

Once again, my heart is beginning to get  lonely. I sighed. “Oppa, why are you doing this?”

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“You know what I mean. Why do you always visit me here? Why are you wasting so much of your time for your bestfriend’s ex-wife?”

Sometimes, I’m beginning to have a hunch that oppa has feelings for me, but I don’t want to assume. After all, who would want to have an affair with the wife of his bestfriend?

 “So..?” I asked again waving a hand.

“Well, you’re my friend, I care for you. Isn’t that enough?”

“Oh. Yeah. Of course. ” My face fell but I was able to hide it immediately. I don’t know why but I felt a little disappointed. So I sat silently.

After some minutes Chanyeol spoke, “Are you not going home to your husband yet?”

“We’re already divorced oppa.” I said, kinda hurt with my own words.

He inhaled heavily. “Well, if that was the case.. will you allow me to court you?”

“”W-what?”

I felt his hand reached for mine under the table and put it above. “Will you give me a chance Hyeri-ah? I-I want to help you out. Make you happy in the best way I can, if not replace Baekhyun.”
