Dream On, Dancer Darling
Life's hard. Life's too hard. Ever since I auditioned for this job, it feels like my life has only been bad. I'm not quitting though, I'm not some sort of quitter. It's been 2 weeks since I broke up with Siwon. Suha and I have been talking much more, which is nice. I'm a little bit more involved in her college life. I haven't really talked to Appa or Umma, I don't know exactly where they are. I've taken up knitting too. I've made some socks! I haven't gone on any dates though. Suha mentioned setting me up with someone she met at work, but I'm not really 'open' to do that. Eh, you know. As much as I don't want to admit it, I love him. Ugh. That sounds like poison. Oh, not only have I taken up knitting, but I also haven't worked in 2 weeks. I can't dance with a broken heart! I might be exaggerating..
Nani: How's life at the dorm?
Zhou Mi: Everyone's fighting.. Going to be honest, Siwon turned into an after you two broke up. He seems to be more aggressive than usual.
Nani: I'm sorry.
Zhou Mi: Not your fault. It's all his doing, he did it to himself. Have you talked to Ryeowook?
Nani: Not much. A few texts back and forth, but it hasn't been much. Why?
Zhou Mi: He told us his feelings for you. Figured you should talk to him.
Nani: I will. Soon. Are you my spy for the dorm? :P
Zhou Mi: Haha, I think so! You need someone on your side, right?
Zhou Mi's on my side. That's a good thing. Maybe he can let me know about Siwon. Siwon being aggressive sounds a tad alien, but he'll get over it.
I was sitting on my couch, watching dramas, when my phone rang.
Seriously? I'm right in the middle of Seo In Guk's scene and I'm not going to give up my attractive actor for a phone call.
*ring ring*
I GIVE UP.
I stood off my couch and grabbed my phone off the table.
"Hello?" I bet I sound totally attractive right now.
"Ms. Soo Ming? Is this Soo Ming?" I rolled my eyes.
"Speaking. How can I help you?"
"Hi, I'm a doctor at Mokpo International Hospital." Hospital? Mokpo? "I'm afraid I have some bad news."
I could feel my heart race speed within an instant.
"What do you mean by bad news."
"Your mother has passed away due to a surprise heart attack. Your father has gone home and he said that he couldn't bring himself to tell you."
I stopped.
"Ma'am? Soo Ming? Are you there? Hello?"

Suha: You get the call from the doctor?
Nani: Yes.
Suha: I called appa. He said that umma didn't want a funeral.
Nani: Really?
Suha: Yeah. Hey, do you mind if I come stay with you for a while? I already told the dean that umma passed and he gave me a leave. I don't really have a place to stay..
Nani: Yeah, that's fine. Do you mind sleeping in my bed with me?
Suha: Yeah, I don't mind. Thank you so much. I'll be over tomorrow. Stay strong, Ming Ming.

Nani: Ryeowook, you there?
Ryeowook: I'm here. What's up?
Nani: Umma passed. Heart attack.
Ryeowook: What? Oh my god. Nani. Are you okay?
Nani: I.. I don't know. I know it's one o'clock in the morning, but can you come over? You're the only one who knew my mom.
Ryeowook: I'll be over soon.
