Chapter Twenty-Seven
Dream On, Dancer Darling
I woke up this morning to the sound of MBLAQ's 'Mona Lisa'. I smiled while waking up. Minho and I were singing this song together yesterday and I guess he changed my ringtone. I sat up in bed and looked around my dark room. It was still dark outside my window. I glanced at my clock. 5:32. Good lord! Who could be calling me this early? I looked at the caller ID.
'Your Lovely Boyfriend<3' is calling me at 5:32. Well, I guess I have to answer it, don't I?
"Hello?" I grumbled, probably sounding totally attractive. Oh well, this is what he gets for waking me up at 5:32 in the morning.
"Nani," I heard Siwon whimper. He's crying, I can hear him.
"Siwon? Are you alright?" I asked, panic rising. I shook my fringe out of my face. I was fully awake now.
"N-No... Y-Yesung, h-he.."
"Siwon, please stop crying so hard. I can't understand a word you're saying." I heard him sigh loudly.
"Yesung just told us that he's enlisting in May." My heart broke. I'm not entirely close to Yesung, but I'm losing a best friend whether I'm close to him or not. I felt a tear run down my face.
"I'm so sorry, Siwon. But, hey. It's December, you still have some time to spend with your hyung."
"I know, I know," he mumbled. "Still. Leeteuk and Heechul's enlistments were hard enough." I ran my fingers through my hair. It's early and I bet I sound incrediably insensitive. I looked at the calender on my bedside table. Today is December 19th, 2012. It's 6 days before Christmas.
"Hey, you'll be home in 3 days, then we can have an amazing Christmas, New Years, and 2013. I promise to you that everything is going to be okay. Now, have Ryeowook make you some tea and please, stop crying. For my heart's sake." I heard him giggle like a twelve-year old school girl.
"You never fail to make me feel better. See you soon baby girl."
We said our goodbyes and I attempted to go back to sleep, but that was not going to happen. Damn Siwon is keeping me awake, just like he always does. Eh, what to do at 6 o'clock in the morning. Twitter, anyone? I logged on and began to scroll through my feed. There was the occassional fan-hate tweet or fan-love tweet, the occassional Siwon-fan twitters posting where he was, the occassional Amber from f(x) tweet that made me crack up. I clicked on 'create tweet' and typed quickly.
'@nanidances: @siwon407 wakes me up at 6 in the morning even when he's in Taiwan! miss you sunshine. <3'
I scrolled for another few minutes before recieving a response from him.
'@siwon407: @nanidances never fails to make me smile ^^) i miss my girlfriend E.L.Fs! see you today taiwan fans! :))'
I rolled my eyes and favorited his tweet. Whata dork.

I have a meeting with Suung today. Wow, it's been forever since I've seen my bosses. I thought that I'd see them more, but I guess not. I walked into Suung's office with my Starbucks and tan beanie that I absolutely adore. I also made an effort to put on the heels Mimi and Moshi (Zhou Mi and Henry) bought me. When Suung saw me, his chubby face went into a full smile.
"Nani, Nani! Welcome, please, sit down." He motioned towards a leather seat in front of his desk. He held up a glass bowl of candies.
"Caramel?" I shook my head, sitting down in the seat. Oh god, I can feel myself slowly being eaten by this chair.
"Suit yourself," he laughed, unwrapping one and popping it in his mouth. After a few swift crunches, his face turned (semi) professional and he held his hands together on his desk.
"Now, Nani, I'd like to discuss the new album. It's going to be released on January 7, 2013 and the teaser for Break Down is going to be released on New Years." Good lord. They've got this all planned out.
Suddenly, my phone began to ring, playing a voice recording of Key through-out Suung's office.
"Nani dear! I just texted you!" Key's voice spoke over the speakers. Kim Kibum, you impossible idiot. I took my phone out of my purse and put it on silent.
"I'm sorry sir," I laughed, putting it back in my purse.
"Was that Kibum?" Suung laughed, sitting back in his chair. I nodded. "He's funny, isn't he?"
"He is, sir. I really like his company!"
"Don't we all? Anyway, back to the album..."
Apparently, I'm going to need to choreograph a performance for a New Years show Super Junior-M is going to do in Jiangsu, China. Meaning, the day after Christmas, Super Junior-M and I are going to be shipped to China. Also meaning that this is going to be my first overseas trip.
After I left his office, I took out my phone and scrolled through my messages. What on Earth could Key want now?
'Keykey<3: Hi Nani! :) I wanted to know if you wanted to go for some bubble tea? I'm cravvvinnngggggggggg.'
I laughed at his stupidity and responded immediately.
'Nani: I'd loveeeeeeeee tooooooooo. :P Meet you there!'
Idiot.
short chapter, sorry :( I just wanted to mention how yesung's enlistment is going to be a big factor later in the story (*hint hint*) and nani's rising friendship with key (*another hint hint*)
