“Oppa, please don’t go. Please oppa, don’t leave me.” A girl cried, hugging her brother tightly.

“I’m sorry, dongsaeng. I have to go, but before I leave can you smile for me.” Her brother replies softly.

She puts on a smile as big as she could for her brother’s last wish. Then tears begin to cascade.

“Don’t cry. I will be right here. Just remember that.” He says, pointing at her heart.

“Promise me that you won’t be any trouble for the others, okay?” He continues.

She nods her head telling him that she understands.

“Pinky promise?” He raises his pinky in front of her, waiting for a respond.

She hesitated at first, but after awhile she entangles her pinky with his. Then she said, “Pinky promise.”

“Oppa, do you have to go? Why can you not stay with me? I don’t want to be alone.”

She cries harder, knowing that he will not be with her anymore.

“Idiot, you are not going to be alone. You have friends who care about you deeply.”

“It’s not the same. No one can replace you, oppa. It’s not the same with them.”

“I’m sorry. Take care of yourself, all right. I love you always and forever.” That was the last thing she heard from him before he closed his eyes.

At that moment, everything around her becomes blurry. Her only sibling has left the world. He is going to be in a different world where she cannot reach him.

Then a young man comes up to her and says, “Eun Hye, it is time.”

She slowly releases her brother as they took him away from her hold. She cried even more due to the pain in her heart. He is not just a brother to her. He was like her best friend that she has.
