You went to the pet store everyday to see your favorite dog, Waffle.

"Guess what?" the pet store owner asks you.

"What is it?"

"Waffle is having puppies!"

"Are you serious? Oh my goodness, I'm so excited!!"

You've always wanted a dog. Hopefully, this time, your mom says yes. She always thought they were too expensive to buy.

School

Lunch

"You guys, Waffle is having puppies!" you told your friends.

"Really? That's cool. Are you going to buy one?"

"I don't know. If my mom wants to buy one for me." you look down. "I need to get a job...but my mom won't let me. Aish!"

Three Day Later

Pet Store

You walk into the pet store and notice a new worker. And, he's a male.

"Welcome." he bows. Oh and he's cute.

He looks familiar, you think to yourself.

"You're new here, right?" you ask him.

"Yes, today's my first day." he smiles.

"You look familiar....have we met before?"

"Well....we go to the same school."

You were a little emabarrassed. You're usually so good with faces and remembering people.

"Oh, sorry. What grade are you in?"

"I'm a senior."

"Oh, I'm a junior."

"Do you like animals?" he asks you.

"Yes, I love them." you face brightens up in happiness. "Do you also like them?"

"Uh..yeah. I don't think I like them as much as you, though."

"Oh yeah, I really really like animals. Why did you start working here?"

"I needed a job. I'm earning money to buy something."

Your face quickly fell. "I want to buy a puppy but my mom won't buy me one and she won't let me get a job."

"Don't worry. You'll get one." he smiles, "I have to get back to work."

"Oh yeah, sorry." you smile back.

The next few days you've been going to the pet store not only for Waffle but for somebody else.

"You're here again?" he looks delighted to see you.

"Yeah." you sit down, "how's Waffle doing?"

"Good, she's going to have her puppies soon."

"I'm so excited!!" you silently clapped.

He smiled at your little moment, "You want one that bad?"

"Yes." you pet Waffle.

Over the next few days you started talking to you Youngjae more and more. You two became friends. And you have to admit you have a tiny crush on him. ^^

A Few Weeks Later

"Look mom! These are the puppies!" you took your mom to the pet store to show her the puppies. Maybe she'll change her mind?

"Oh, they're cute~" she cooed as she grabbed one.

"Told you. Will you buy me one? They're ready to take home! Please?"

She sighed as she put it down, "I already told you 'no'."

"But.... nevermind." you left the store, not even bothering to wait for your mom.

You walked home and went into your room. Yeah, maybe you were being over dramatic but you really wanted a puppy.

Next Day

Saturday

You went for a walk in the park. And there you saw a puppy. Not just any kind of puppy... it's the puppy you wanted to buy!

What is it doing in the park? You asked yourself.

Right as you were walking up to it, you see Youngjae.

"Oh..hi." he surprised you.

"Hi."

"What are you doing here?" you ask him.

"Just...playing with Marshmallow."

"Marshmallow?"

"Yeah, that's what I named the puppy." he smiles.

"So, it is yours? You bought the puppy?" you look down. You were a little mad and jealous because you wanted it.

"Actually... I'm giving it to you."

Flashback

Younjae overheard you talking to your friends about the dog that you wanted.

She wants a puppy? he thought to himself.  Maybe if I start working at the pet store, she'll notice me and if I buy her a puppy she might like me. I'll go apply after school.

End of Flashback

"What?"

"I'm giving you the puppy. I know how much you want it."

"But..." you were at loss for words. "You pai-"

"Just take it." he grabs it and puts it in your hands.

"OMG! Thank you sooo much!!!" you put the puppy down and give him a tight hug. His heartbeat increases at your touch. "I'll buy you food!"

"haha Ok, let's go."

Ok, so she accepted my gift. All I have to do now, is get her to accept my heart.
