Lee Yoo Na stood straight in front of her fiancée’s door. She felt her body stiffen as she held up her hand, staring down to a ring around her finger –The guiltiness overwhelming inside her. Then she sighed and moves forward to the key into the knob. Just one click before the door was unlocked for her.

“Luhan ah…”, she called out for him and stepped inside. Then her eyes dropped down toward the shoes rack. She saw a pair of pinky sneakers, Yoo Na knew it at once that her sister was here.

“Yoo Bi ah…”, now she called out for her instead as she moved further into the living room. She stopped as she scanned around the empty living room.

“Where is everyone???”, Yoo Na mumbled questioningly and she took her steps into the way that lead to the bedrooms area. She stopped for awhile as she bit her lips, hesitated to enter which room among the three bedrooms. Then she moved to the master bedroom, intended to look for Luhan ahead of Yoo Bi so she quickly pushed open the door. But as her eyes caught sight of the person that lay on the bed, she stopped halfway behind the small opening of the door. She peeked inside, poking in her head before her eyes fixed on that person. It was Yoo Bi that still sleeping soundly on Luhan’s bed while her fiancée was sitting down on the floor next to the bed as he had his head rested on the edge of the bed. He was too, deep in his sleep. Yoo Na gulped down as she watched the two. One was her sister and another was her fiancée. Their closeness toward each other was inseparable. Yoo Na slowly leaned her body on the door. She closed her eyes tightly, feeling the silence aching of her heart. Sometime she felt jealous, seeing how gentle Luhan can be when he was taking care of Yoo Bi. Even though she didn’t doubt his feeling for her but these two…their connection just wasn’t right either. Then Yoo Na took another glimpse toward them before she silently closed the door again. She walked to the living room and sat on the couch.

“Then what do you plan to do in order to escape from all of it???”, she heard Kim Bum’s voice inside her head before she shook it. Yoo Na herself didn’t know what to do. She sighed heavily and leaned her head on the arm of the couch. Then she sat straight. A sudden idea poked out from her mind. She hastily zipped off her bag and took out her phone. She held it tight for awhile inside her palms before she took a deep breath and got up.

“Unnie is really sorry to you, Yoo Bi ah…but I have to do this…”, she whispered to herself and opened the door again. Yoo Bi and Luhan were both still calmly wandering inside their dreamland as Yoo Na held up her phone toward them. She pushed the camera button and automatically it snapped the picture of them sleeping together there. Then Yoo Na sighed in relief before she closed the door again and ran out of the house. Once she was in the elevator, she eyed the picture again.

“Now, you will help me to force Yoo Bi to agree with my decision…”, she said to the screen as she snapped close her phone again, looking up in full determination even though she knew that her plan will break both Luhan and Yoo Bi’s hearts. Yoo Bi stirred in her sleep. She blinked her eyes for awhile and turning her body to the side.

“Ah!!!”, she shouted, quickly sat straight when her eyes landed on a figure next to her.

“What?! What is…”, Luhan was in shock too as he hastily got up from his sleep. He glanced sideway to Yoo Bi as Yoo Bi was frowning down to him.

“What are you doing here???”, Yoo Bi asked him in accusation voice as she pointed a finger straight to his face. Luhan chuckled and stretched his hands and waist.

“Don’t be silly…this is my room, of course I’m sleeping in here…”, he answered her lazily as he walked over to the sliding door that lead to the balcony. At once, he pulled the curtain wide and pushed the glass door to let in the refreshing morning air. Yoo Bi blinked at his back, still didn’t recover from the last night incident. Then she rubbed her hair aggressively, making it to look messier before she froze and clapped her hand on . Luhan heard her so he turned. He laughed upon seeing her surprise face.

“You should see your face, Yoo Bi…it’s hideous…”, Luhan commented and walked over to the bed. He stood before her and pulled over the blanket that covered Yoo Bi’s body. Yoo Bi gulped down but she watched him in silence. Luhan was now folding the blanket nicely back to tidy up his bed before going to the office.

“Quick…you need to go back now if you want to catch up for school…”, he instructed her but Yoo Bi didn’t budge on the bed. She sat still, staring up to Luhan.

“Oppa…”, she said and Luhan shook his head.

“You don’t have to think about it…it was an accident, I know…you’re running away from the damn cockroach so you didn’t see me coming…so yeah…just take it easy…”, Luhan quickly explained about their ‘accidently kissing’ incident last night. Yoo Bi was so scared about the insect so she couldn’t control herself but to bump into Luhan and they ended up kissing each other. Yoo Bi sighed as she hid her face down. If her sister knows this, she would be send straight into her grave! Luhan chuckled loudly when he saw her face like that again. He moved forward and patted her head.

“Please…don’t feel stuck about it…I understand that it was your first kiss and you must be feeling disappointed like hell because that person was me so…I just hope you can forget about it…don’t worry because I’m not telling your sister…it’s our little secret…”, Luhan said again before he winked cutely toward Yoo Bi and walked out from the room. Yoo Bi blinked at the now empty doorway. She bit her lips for awhile before she placed a palm on her heart. It was beating so loudly inside her chest every time she remembered that her first kiss was with her own brother in law –Yoo Bi never, ever expecting this. She always dream that her first kiss would be soft and sweet with someone that she truly love but in the end, her first kiss was stolen because of that damn creature called COCKROACH!!!!

“Aish…”, Yoo Bi cursed loudly and pushed her body out from the bed but when she wanted to go out from the room, she stopped by the door. Then she slowly curved a smile on her lips. It was stupid that she got fainted just because she was too shock when she accidently kissed Luhan last night. That was why Luhan brought her to sleep in his room instead of another room. He was worried about her. Yoo Bi giggled in embarrassment to herself before she resumed walking out from the room.

“Em…”, Kris shifted in his sleep as he felt his face bump with something furry. He tried to open his eyes but he closed it again when he realized that his big teddy bear was the one that lying innocently on his face. So he sighed lazily and removed the bear from his face. Then he yawned loudly, covering his mouth with his palm before he caught sight of his wedding ring around his finger. Hastily he sat straight on the bed and turned toward the couch situated across from his bed. Kris frowned confusedly when he saw the couch was empty. Then he looked around, scanning to find Kim So Eun but she was nowhere to be seen around this room. So Kris rolled his eyes and slowly got up from his bed. Then he walked over to the bathroom but he stopped instantly in front of it when his ears caught sound of the shower. Someone was taking a bath inside it. Kris knew it must be So Eun inside so he rubbed his hair and walked back to sit on his office chair. He slung his right leg to place it on his left leg. Then he glanced suspiciously toward the bathroom’s door again. If So Eun was taking her bath inside that mean she will go out to see him later. But Kris was furious to expect in what form he will see her. Oh well, of course she will be in fully human figure but Kris was wondering whether she will dress in a proper clothes…or in a bathrobe…or only in her towel…or…em…???

“Haish!!!”, Kris scolded his ert mind before he hastily shook his head. Just when he was about to picture her in y poses again, trying to seduce him once she got out from the bathroom, the door was pulled open widely. It slammed with a loud bang on the wall before So Eun walked out from it, fully dressed in her modest fashioned clothes. Kris rolled his eyes at her, feeling slightly disappointed. But he got up from his seat and followed her as So Eun continuously arranged her steps toward the main door to leave the room.

“You slept early last night…”, So Eun stopped once she heard Kris asked her. She chuckled but she didn’t move to turn toward him.

“Em…”, Kris started to open his mouth again, trying to break the awkwardness between them but they were interrupted when they heard someone called for them from outside the room.

“Young Master and Young Madam…it’s time for breakfast…please proceed to the dining hall…”, So Eun and Kris stared sternly on the door when they heard the maid instructed them. So Eun resumed walking out from the room without saying anything to Kris again. She shut the door loudly on his face as Kris blinked dumbly for awhile. Then he smirked but he walked away to take his bath.

“Morning, honey…come, come…take a seat with us…”, Mr. Wu greeted his beloved daughter in law as soon as he saw her walking down from the stairs nearby them. So Eun forced a weak smile to him and she landed her on a chair in front of Clara. She darted her eyes to that girl but Clara was rolling her eyes in disgust toward So Eun. So Eun cleared slowly before she pulled her chair to move closer to that giant, long dining table. Mr. Wu was seating left from her, leading the table as he sat to face all of them including Mrs. Wu and Clara, sitting side by side on his left while having So Eun on his right side. Kris should be sitting beside her but he still wasn’t show up for them.

“Shall we start or shall we wait for oppa???”, Clara asked suddenly and pasted her eyes on Mr. Wu instead. Her father glared at her.

“Of course we will wait…it’s rare for us to enjoy the breakfast together…but since we’re celebrating the first morning with this newlywed so we shall wait for her husband…right, So Eun???”, Mr. Wu asked excitedly, grinning widely toward So Eun but she nodded her head weakly.

“Yeah…”, So Eun barely opened as she looked down to her palms, clearly not in the mood. Mr. Wu frowned to her.

“Are you okay, my dear???”, he asked in concern but they were stopped to turn at Kris that was now walking nearing them with equal stony face like So Eun. Clara chuckled upon seeing her brother.

“Both of you look really tired…why??? Don’t you guys sleep at all last night???”, she teased and laughed out loudly, clutching her stomach. So Eun and Kris shot her with dead glares simultaneously when they realized that she was teasing them about their first night. Of course there will be no first night for them. Plus, that kind of thing will never occur between them. They were married unwillingly with each other so who in their right mind would do that with a person that they don’t actually love??? Clara fell silent once she caught their scary looks so she rolled her eyes and nodded her head.

“Okay, okay…I got it…I’m just kidding, okay??? Don’t take it too serious…”, she said as she put up her hands in front of them, a sign that she had surrendered to the matter. Mr. Wu and his wife were also eyeing their daughter in total confusion.

“Clara…don’t be rude toward your oppa and unnie…it’s their private life…”, Mrs. Wu reminded her but Clara pouted stubbornly as she crossed her arms in front of her body.

“What??? Is there really anything to be embarrassed about??? They are married after all…it’s normal to have on their first night of marriage…”, she explained in complete ease as So Eun widened her eyes and Kris almost split the coffee from his cup as he was about to drink it. Mr. Wu and Mrs. Wu shot their daughter with bloodshot stares again.

“Shut it! You’re just a minor!”, Mr. Wu said angrily as he frowned toward Clara. So Eun closed her eyes, gathering her patience while Kris was gulping down his throat, feeling a sudden awkwardness wrapped both him and So Eun. Then Mrs. Wu cleared loudly.

“Now…let’s start eating the breakfast before everyone is late for their work…”, she reminded and they nodded robotically. Then they heard the phone rang loudly from the corner of the dining room. A maid came to answer it before she held the phone to walk back nearing everyone at the table.

“Excuse me, young master…but a reporter from the Daily News is asking for you…he is on the line now…”, the maid told him as Mr. Wu held up his hand toward her.

“Ask them to wait if they want to have another interview for the newlywed…they just finished their wedding party last night…at least, please…let them rest for a day…”, Mr. Wu said thoughtfully as So Eun glanced sideway to her father in law. This man was indeed a very good father but she could guess it that the call wasn’t for her marriage news but for another matter. Kris took a quick glimpse to the maid but he didn’t object it. Kris himself felt boring to face the press for more. Please, he has his own life too other than answering their endless questions about his personal matter. The maid did as she was told but then she hung up the phone again, tilting her head toward Kris.

“I’m sorry, young master…but he doesn’t want to ask you about your marriage…the reporter wish to ask you regarding your relationship with Sooyoung sshi…”, Kris instantly looked up straight to her once he heard the request from the press. So Eun sat still and kept on feeding herself in complete ease, she knew exactly what was happening now so she didn’t have to feel thrill about it. Mr. Wu and Clara were frowning to the maid as Mrs. Wu chuckled in total disgust.

“Are they a fool??? My son is married to his wife now! That got nothing to do with Kris anymore!”, Mrs. Wu snapped as she glared toward her son. Kris bit his lips but he slowly got up from his seat.

“Let me talk to him…”, he said and walked over to the maid. Mr. Wu cleared his throat when Kris had gone to answer the phone. He smiled sideway to So Eun.

“Don’t worry about it, honey…I’m sure Kris can handle it…it must be any mistake anywhere…”, he told her but So Eun smiled bitterly. Yeah, it was a mistake. She and Kris, they were a mistake. So Eun thought inside her mind before Mrs. Wu waved to one of the maid.

“Switch on the television…we want to see the morning news…”, she ordered her and she bowed down to her before the maid moved to switch the television that situated in front of the dining table. She clicked on the remote control and at once the screen revealed the morning report for the whole family. Mr. Wu gazed up to the screen but he frowned as he saw the pictures advertised on it.

“Shocking news! Mr. Kris Wu that just held his wedding party yesterday was last night caught when the press realized that he is having an affair with a beautiful rich daughter from Choi International Enterprise…he was caught kissing with Ms. Sooyoung at the front lobby of his own wedding hall! That is very cunning for the groom…”, as the reporter was reading away the news both Mr. Wu and Mrs. Wu widened their eyes in major shock. Their stares fixed sharp on the picture of Kris kissing his bride on the aisle yesterday comparing with another picture of him kissing Sooyoung at the lobby! They both looked ridiculously photogenic! Clara rubbed her chin as she raised an eyebrow toward the television.

“Hmmm…interesting…”, she simply commented as So Eun inhaled deeply, trying to hide the gloominess that wrapped her feeling right now. She was indeed in a very bad mood as she didn’t even take a glance on the screen but to stay focused on her food. Mr. Wu slammed his hands angrily on the table, making all of them to startle a bit. Mrs. Wu shook her head as she closed her eyes, Clara was frowning in anxious toward her father while So Eun sat back, leaning on the chair as she looked down on her palms.

“What is actually happen last night???”, he asked, gritted his teeth impatiently as he shifted his eyes from his wife and daughter and back again to So Eun. The three were all stayed silence. Then Kris walked in again into the dining room. He looked frustrated as he massaged the back of his neck slowly and arranged his steps to sit again beside his wife but Mr. Wu glared at him.

“Do you have any idea about this, Kris???”, he shot him with question even before Kris manage to take his seat. Kris stood halfway there as he frowned and glanced toward the television. He saw the pictures so he sighed heavily.

“I…”, he was about to start explaining about it but he was stopped when suddenly another phone ringing interrupted them. Mr. Wu shook his head in mental rejection but it was So Eun’s phone that rang right now. She hastily put down her spoon and picked up the phone from inside her pocket.

“Hello…”, she greeted the caller as Kris looked up to her. Her empty expression was making him to feel worried even more. But then So Eun gasped as she widened her eyes in surprise. Mr. Wu, his wife and Clara were all eyeing her in equal suspiciousness as Kris. Then So Eun nodded her head in fast mode.

“Okay, okay…I got it…I’ll be there, Aunt Jung…you just wait for me!”, she pressed to the latter before she snapped close her phone again. Then she stood up and shoved the napkin away from her lap.

“I’m sorry, everyone! But I have to excuse myself for now…someone needs my help…later!”, she told them in hurry as she grabbed away her handbag and ran past Kris and she ignored him to continue running. Kris rolled his eyes but he put his hands on his hips. How could she leave him to deal with this problem alone???? Mr. Wu cleared his throat but he gazed up again toward Kris.

“You better settle up this problem as soon as possible…I don’t want it to ruin our family’s image in front of the crowd…Wu family is always respectable to everyone so you better clean up the mess…immediately!”, his father commanded him firmly before he pushed back his seat and stood up to leave the table. Mrs. Wu also shook her head but she moved to tail her husband away. Only Clara was left to stare dumbly toward her oppa. Kris was now walking back to the table and took his father’s seat earlier. He placed his hands on the table as he hid his face inside his palms. Clara chuckled at him.

“You know, oppa…thing won’t be this difficult if you agree to marry Sooyoung unnie instead of her…”, she sarcastically commented and stood up to walk away. Kris bit his lips in despair. Now he needed to think for a best solution in settling this problem but in a way that won’t hurt both So Eun and Sooyoung. Conclusion, what should he do now???

“Here, here! Just stop here!”, So Eun urged the taxi driver loudly before he stepped hard on the break. Once the taxi was stopped, So Eun pushed the money to him and she immediately jumped out from inside of it. She slammed close the door before she scanned nervously around the shop. It was unexpectedly shocking to see the whole crowd that was now surrounded her shop. So Eun stood motionless there as her brain was blocked to think for a best way to get rid of all the presses, paparazzi and cameramen that kept on pushing in front of her shop just to steal a glimpse of her. But then she was startled to hear someone was screaming loudly over the noisy clicking of cameras and buzzing sound of the reporters, talking among them.

“Stop it!!! Please stop!!! Mrs. Wu isn’t here!!!”, So Eun gasped as her eyes landed on Aunt Jung that was now pushing her body among the aggressive reporters. She bit her lips, bottling up her anger as it was about to explode. So Eun squeezed her shoulders bravely before she arranged her steps toward the presses. Then she closed her eyes for awhile when a sudden shooting of camera flashes poured on her. She sighed loudly but she continued walking to stand beside Aunt Jung.

“So Eun ah!!!”, she yelled toward her and grabbed hold of her arm firmly when So Eun finally be by her side. So Eun frowned toward her before she glared straightly to all the presses, putting on her arrogant looks.

“What are you guys doing here??? My shop isn’t some kind of press conference hall! Please don’t in into our privacy like this! It is way too impolite!!!”, she scolded the presses loudly but one of the reporters raised up his hand toward her.

“Excuse me, Mrs. Wu! But we just want to ask for your opinion about the news reporting that Mr. Wu is having a scandal with Ms. Sooyoung…they were caught kissing each other on the very night of your wedding! Isn’t that way too much for you as his real bride???”, he asked and another reporter added after him.

“Yes, Mrs. Wu! Please give us some feedback about it…because we were once heard it that you and your husband wanted to cancel the wedding when both of you told us here…but Madam Wu insisted to have the wedding so…is it really both of you are willingly married each other or…you guys just plan it to cover another thing???”, they guessed again as So Eun bit her lips in anger. Maybe she should stop thinking about other’s feeling. Maybe she should just reveal the truth and get rid of this entire problematic situation. She was way too tired to face all of it!

“Actually…”, when she was about to open , telling the true story behind of all the beautiful pretending scenes, someone caught her by her right arm. So Eun instantly looked up to her side before she saw Kim Bum stood up there. His face looked serious as he stared on the presses. So Eun wanted to ask him something but Kim Bum had already bowed down toward them.

“Sorry…but we will answer your questions later…please go back for today…”, he told them and at once dragged So Eun away to go out from the circle of the reporters. They once again were snapping their cameras unstoppably toward So Eun and Kim Bum that now walking side by side with Aunt Jung following them behind. At last, they were escaped from the paparazzi so Kim Bum hastily tighten his grip on So Eun’s hand and started to run to the back of the building. They entered the shop from the back door.

“Huh…at last, we managed to escape from them…thanks!”, Aunt Jung mumbled as she waved a hand toward Kim Bum. He slightly smiled to her before he shook his head.

“Nothing…it’s just a little mercy from me…”, he commented back and looked sideway to So Eun. She was now walking slowly to the couch inside her shop before she lowered her to sit on it. She let go of a long and heavy sigh as she leaned her head on the back of the couch. Kim Bum bit his lips but he walked over to her.

“Are you okay???”, he asked when he settled down next to her. So Eun barely nodded her head.

“How do you know I’m here???”, she asked him back and Kim Bum chuckled.

“I watched the news this morning…and I suddenly feeling worry about you so I came rushing here…’, he explained and ended it with a small laugh. So Eun laughed along with him.

“You don’t have to trouble yourself actually…I don’t want to drag you along into this problem…’, she told him and Kim Bum nodded his head.

“I know…but as your friend, I’m responsible to care for you…”, he replied as So Eun frowned toward him.

“Friend???”, she asked confusedly.

“Yeah…I can still be your friend, right???”, he pressed again before he curved up a stunningly dashing smile toward her. That was her favorite smile –the one that she missed so much to look at. So Eun nodded slowly as she felt a sudden relief hugged her heart. She was glad that Kim Bum was here for her now.

“Thanks…”, she muttered to him and Kim Bum smiled even wider now.

“Welcome…but you’re even more welcome if you offer me with some sweet cappuccino…”, he and So Eun laughed.

“Fine…I’ll do it for you…wait up…”, she agreed and got up from her seat. So Eun disappeared for awhile to the back room of this shop. Kim Bum relaxed his body on the couch as his eyes wandering around the shop. A few minutes later, So Eun was walking back again toward him, carrying along with her two cups of hot drink. She handed one to him.

“Here is my promise…”, she said playfully and Kim Bum laughed up at her.

“Thank you, chingu ah…”, he replied and So Eun took her seat back. She sighed once she sipped slowly on her drink.

“Hmmm…it seems that I cannot open my shop today…the presses are still hovering around...”, she told him and Kim Bum nodded at her.

“It’s okay…at least you have the whole day to spend with this funny friend of yours…”, he said again and So Eun smacked him on his shoulder.

“Eh???? You’re funny huh??? I doubt that!”, she narrowed her eyes at him and they laughed in union again. But then Kim Bum stopped laughing as he stared deeply on So Eun’s pretty face. She chuckled upon seeing his eyes on her.

“What???”, she asked shortly and drank her coffee again.

“So Eun ah…are you really happy???”, he asked her in sudden serious tone, making So Eun to blink at him.

“What do you mean by that??? What should I be happy at???”, she asked him again with uncertain look drawn on her face. Kim Bum chuckled at her.

“Be happy about your marriage, of course…I mean…em…I’m feeling sorry to you regarding the news…but there must be any mistake right???”, he explained further to her as So Eun sighed again. She placed her cup on a table in front of them as she crossed her arms together.

“I don’t know…my feeling is empty right now…it’s up to Kris on how he want to handle this matter…I’m totally out of it…”, she answered him and Kim Bum bit his lips.

“Where is he now??? Doesn’t he know you’re here???”, Kim Bum shot her with question again as So Eun smirked in disgust.

“He is a REAL busy man…plus I’m not hoping for his attention…”, So Eun told Kim Bum plastically but of course she lied to him. Deep down her heart, she was sincerely hoping for Kris to be here for her, for Kris to console her and tell her that everything that she saw last night was a just a dumb prank. So Eun kept on pushing out the image of Kris kissing with Sooyoung from inside her mind. Unfortunately, it keeps coming back, making So Eun to feel tired and weak about it. She was indeed feeling very sad whenever she thought about Kris. So Eun closed her eyes before she suddenly felt a hand landed around her head. So Eun glanced sideway to Kim Bum as he forced a smile to her. Gently, he pulled her head to rest on his shoulder, patting her soft long hair.

“It’s okay to cry…”, he whispered to her and So Eun balled up her hands into fists. She melted under his gentle attention toward her as she felt a tear dropped down to her cheek, followed by another and another until her cheeks were all wet by her overflowing tears. Maybe she was wrong when she thought that Kris could possibly accept their wedding as something real.

“Alright, everyone…please pass the application forms around…you have this whole week to decide on which courses do you prefer to be in and which university or college you want to attend later…”, their homeroom teacher announced at the front of the class as Lee Yoo Bi grabbed one of the piles of form that were handed toward her. She stared down at the list of universities as she frowned.

“Eh??? University huh??? I’m suddenly feeling old…”, one of her friends commented and they laughed in union.

“Yes…it’s time to properly decide on your future…so don’t take it too lightly…remember to choose the best for you and hand back the forms to me next week on Monday morning, okay??? Class president, you’re fully responsible on this!”, their teacher said again and the class leader saluted at her.

“Aye! Aye! Captain!”, he said playfully as the teacher rolled her eyes.

“Now, another reminder for you…study smart for your final examination next week! Good luck!”, the teacher wished them and they bowed in union before she left the class. Everyone started to buzz and moved around again, discussing about their decision on the further study application. Yoo Bi chuckled but she started to keep her things back inside her bag.

“Yoo Bi ah! Do you want to go to the library???”, a friend sitting next to her tilted her head to a side to face Yoo Bi. She smiled as she nodded.

“Yeah…I need to catch up with my Physics…it …”, she commented and they laughed together.

“Me too…so can I join the club???”, she asked for her permission before Yoo Bi stood up from her seat.

“Sure…come on…”, she agreed at once and started to walk out leaving the class but someone blocked her way by the door. Yoo Bi sighed loudly and gazed up to the person. It was Sehun that was now staring intensely down to her. Yoo Bi rolled her eyes.

“What do you want now???”, she asked sarcastically and she crossed her arms in front of her small body. Sehun gulped down his throat for awhile.

“I want…I wanna talk with you about yesterday, when we met at the mall…”, he brought out the boring topic again as Yoo Bi shook her head. She held up her palm toward him.

“Now stop! I don’t want to talk about it anymore…please, Sehun ah…we have so many thing to be settled first right now…we’re about to sit for the exam next week and we have to decide for the university…it is all about our future! And I don’t want to ruin it because of you! So can you please get away with it???”, Yoo Bi scolded him before she pushed his chest backward and walked past his body out of the class. Sehun closed his eyes, gathering his patience toward this stubborn girl but still, he will stayed firm with his decision to have her as his girl so he turned his body back and followed Yoo Bi from behind. She glanced back to him and quickly picked up her paces to run away from him but Sehun was way faster than her as he grabbed Yoo Bi around her waist. Yoo Bi stopped dead.

“Sehun, please…don’t make me yell at you…it will be too embarrassing…”, she warned him but Sehun shook his head and tighten his grip around her waist.

“Go on yelling then…your beloved brother is not here to save you…you’re all mine right now…”, he said arrogantly to her as Yoo Bi punched his hands to let go of her. She hissed angrily toward Sehun.

“Stop fooling around!”, she started to raise her voice but Sehun had spun her body around to face him and he hugged her closer to his body. Yoo Bi bit her lips in frustration toward this boy.

“Tell me, Yoo Bi ah…tell me that you’re really doesn’t like me at all…look into my eyes and confess to me…then only I can truly trust in your words…”, he forced her again as Yoo Bi shut her eyes tightly. She gathered her strength before she slowly pushed his body away from her to gaze up to his face. But once she set her eyes on his innocence face, she was blinded again by his gentle eyes, looking deeply inside her own eyes. Yoo Bi sighed heavily. Frankly speaking, there was actually a hidden feeling buried in her heart for this boy and seeing his beautiful face just a few inches from her, how could she possibly want to give up on him??? Yoo Bi held up her palm to touch his face but then she tried to drop it again before Sehun caught her hand inside his.

“You can feel it right??? The love between us…”, he tried to pursue her again as he planted her hand on his chest. Yoo Bi flinched upon feeling the speedy rise and fall of his chest – it matched her own rapid heart beating. She slowly gulped down .

“What should I do??? I’m no good to love anyone…”, she finally asked him, giving up the thick wall that she built hard to resist her feeling for this boy. Sehun smiled gently at her.

“You don’t have to do anything…just let me love you…”, he said and leaned forward to briefly kiss her forehead. Yoo Bi closed her eyes again when Sehun pulled her back inside his embraces. They cuddled each other. She exhaled shortly – she knew that she should stop her heart from feeling unsecure to start loving someone, a boy like Sehun.

“Yo, unnie!”, Clara greeted Sooyoung when she approached her in the cafeteria. Sooyoung waved at her with a smile as she motioned for her to take a seat in front of her.

“Wow…you look unexpectedly calm even though you’re the hot topic nowadays…”, Clara but Sooyoung laughed wickedly.

“There is nothing to be thrilled about…the reporter is expecting for the truth…if they ask me, then I’m going to reveal the realness…”, she answered carelessly but Clara rolled her eyes.

“Please, my beautiful unnie…have some heart…you can’t cause any damage toward my family especially to oppa, right???”, she guessed at her and Sooyoung winked.

“Of course not…your brother is a diamond to me…I’m not going to hurt him…”, she replied but then she narrowed her eyes. “But…my diamond will be rusted by the dirty if I don’t rid her away from him…”, she added again. Clara jerked up her eyebrow.

“You mean, So Eun unnie???”, she asked and Sooyoung picked up the newspaper that printed So Eun’s wedding picture with Kris on it. Sooyoung nodded.

“Any news from your house???”, she asked and she threw down the paper on the table. Clara shrugged as she laughed toward her.

“You must be shock to hear this, unnie…but daddy and mommy are surprisingly pampering her too much…just because this case about your scandalous news with oppa, they plan to have personal bodyguards for her…”, she told Sooyoung and ended it with a gesture to throw out, like Clara was really disgusted by the plan that her parents have for So Eun. Sooyoung hissed at her.

“What??? Personal bodyguards??? Do they expect her to be murdered by someone because of the news??? Does she really need that kind of special treatment???”, Sooyoung asked angrily as she crossed her arms together in front of her body. Clara smirked at her.

“Unfortunately, she will…because daddy is afraid that So Eun unnie will be disturb by the paparazzi and presses again so he plan to hire any professional bodyguard for her…”, Clara explained again but Sooyoung leaned on her chair as she rubbed her chin. She glared around for awhile before she stopped her sight on Clara’s face again. Then she curved a sarcastic grin toward her.

“Thanks for the information, my little sis…I know what to do from now on…”, she said and held up the glass to sip on it. Clara chuckled at her but they laughed evilly together.

Lay the screen of his phone. He frowned for awhile before he flipped it open and dialed on someone’s contact number. One, two beeps before he heard a cheerful voice greeted him.

“Hello! Ara is speaking…”, she said on the line and Lay curved a small smile upon hearing her voice. Somehow her voice has a strange power to calm his nerve down.

“Ara ah…”, he called out to her and Ara rolled her eyes.

“Are you there right now??? Have you properly prepare for the audition???”, she asked for confirmation but Lay chuckled at her.

“Are you sure about this??? If they know our secret…we will be in complete trouble…”, he asked Ara back in uncertain tone but Ara sighed loudly at him through the phone.

“Yah, Zhang Yixing! I told you, it is fine…because even after we got married, we won’t fully connected to each other…you will be living in your own home and I’ll be in mine…you have your own job and I’ll work on mine…so we will end up settling our own business so don’t worry about getting catch up about our marriage secret…I promise you, we will only meet each other to visit your grandpa and my family…at least once per two months…case close!”, she explained to him in full speed before Lay rolled his eyes.

“I know…we have discussed about the rotation but still…I’m feeling bad to lie to Ms. Tiffany about this matter…I hope to build my career as a singer in the most innocent way…all clear from sin…”, he replied to her but Ara broke out into funny laughter.

“Yah…what are you??? Some fallen angel from heaven??? Hahahaha!!!”, she laughed at him again but Lay hissed at her.

“Now stop joking around! I’m serious right here…I’m not attending the audition if we’re going to lie about our marriage…”, he pressed stubbornly before Ara stopped laughing and made a face like, don’t-pretend-to-be-innocent-when-you’re-lying-to-everyone-about-our-marriage. Fortunately, Lay couldn’t see her face from the phone so Ara cleared .

“Em…ehem…fine, let’s cancel the wedding…”, she tested him as Lay widened his eyes at the road in front of him.

“You…you’re joking…right???”, he asked her, stumbled with his words as Ara chuckled to him.

“No, I’m not! You’re the one that insist to cancel the wedding because you don’t want to lie to that pretty Ms. Tiffany regarding our marriage…but, hey! Don’t you forget that we are also lying to your grandpa and my family??? Zhang Yixing sshi, I’m not marrying you because of love! Please…”, Ara scolded him again and it silent Lay at once. She was right; they lied to everyone from the very start so why does he have to be afraid to lie about it again toward Tiffany??? Just go on with the plan then…and Lay finally sighed heavily. He nodded as thought she could see him.

“Fine…we will lie about it…I’m not gonna tell Ms. Tiffany that I’ll get married soon enough…I’ll be a perfect bachelor in front of her…”, he said finally and Ara laughed wickedly.

“That’s my boy…now do your best with your audition!”, she replied him cheerfully again but then Lay asked her, sounded serious.

“Why do you agree to let me join this audition???”, Ara stayed silence for awhile but then she grinned.

“Because I know that you’re talented enough to be a good singer…I only saw your performance once last night but I know you have that kind of potential so don’t waste it…do your best to build a better future…”, she encouraged him and Lay silently smiled to the phone. He was glad that Ara put her faith in him.

“Yeah…thank you…”, he thanked her and Ara laughed shortly.

“Good…now finish the audition as fast as you can because we need to rush to my hometown this night…”, she reminded him and Lay rolled his eyes.

“Got it…”, he told her and they shut the line. Then Lay inhaled deeply as he looked up toward a tall building in front of him. He balled up his fists.

“Let’s do this!”, he muttered to himself and got up from the bus stop to walk across the traffic, entering that building just now. He wandered around the lobby for awhile before someone greeted him from behind.

“Excuse me, can I help you???”, a girl greeted him and Lay smiled up to her as he nodded.

“Yeah…I’m here to attend a singing audition so can you please tell me which floor is the audition take place???”, he asked her politely and the girl smiled knowingly.

“So you must be that favorite boy of Tiffany sshi…”, she told him as Lay frowned at her.

“Pardon???”, he said again and that girl laughed, covering with her hand.

“Nothing is just that our company not yet opens for our audition season but Tiffany sshi especially arranged a meeting for you to test out your talent because she strongly insisted to have you as a trainee as soon as possible…”, Lay found himself stuck in surprise with the news. He tried to say something but he felt his tongue lost for words. So he cleared his throat and smiled sheepishly.

“Really??? Em…I have no idea about it so where can I have my audition???”, he asked again and the girl nodded.

“Here…come with me…”, she instructed him as she started to walk ahead of him toward the elevator. Lay followed behind silently before they entered a small studio around the elevator on the third floor. Lay lit up a broad smile once he saw Tiffany, sitting around a long table with another two men. He bowed down to them as the girl that led him just now excused herself. Tiffany waved and winked toward him.

“Nice meeting you again, Mr. Zhang…here, let me introduce to you…this is Mr. Park…he is one of the biggest producer inside our company and this one is Mr. Lee…he is our famous composure…boys, this is Mr. Zhang…a talented boy from China…”, Tiffany started the private audition with a friendly greeting as she pointed her hand from a man sitting next to her right before she moved it to another man that sat on her left side. Lay bowed politely toward them.

“Hello…I’m Zhang Yixing but usually people called me Lay…glad to meet everyone today…”, he greeted them back and both of the men nodded their heads when they eyed Lay.

“He is indeed having that kind of superstar aura with him, Fanny ah…I hope she is right about you, Mr. Zhang…”, Mr. Lee told him and they laughed together as Tiffany pouted beside him.

“I never make any mistake in choosing a star…just watch him perform first…”, she said confidently toward Mr. Lee as they nodded again.

“Yes…we can start the audition right away…what kind of song do you want to sing for us???”, Mr. Park asked him, heading straight back to the business. Lay gulped down his throat before he squeezed his shoulders to answer him.

“Em…I’m not singing anyone’s song…because I’m about to perform to all of you a latest song written by me…I wrote the lyric and composed it myself…so hopefully you guys are willing to hear it…”, he told them as Tiffany raised her eyebrow in great interest before she shifted her gazes toward Mr. Park and Mr. Lee.

“Told you he is a man with multi-talent…”, she still trying to backup him as Mr. Park chuckled toward her.

“Can’t really trust him too…sometime people can do everything but few can be the best…we can’t accept him in our company if his sing sound like a toad…”, Mr. Lee commented sarcastically as Lay forced a fake smile on him. Tiffany glared at her teammate but she pouted sulkily.

“Let’s see then…go on, Mr. Zhang…sing for us…”, Tiffany ordered him and Lay nodded. He slung off the guitar case from around his shoulders before he zipped it off to take out his acoustic guitar. He placed down the case to the floor as he started to twist his slender fingers on the string of the guitar. At once, it created a soft melody from it.

“Since the day you came into my life…There is no longer misery…You came knocking at my heart…And blindly, I let you in…”, the calming voice of Lay suddenly filled the whole room as he matched his sing with the rhythm from the acoustic music. Tiffany smiled sweetly upon hearing his song. It was a very beautiful introduction to her. Mr. Park and Mr. Lee set their eyes on Lay, still listening closely to him.

“You, the meaning of love…You, made me feel…You, the inspiration of happiness…Till I feel the warmness of love… Sorry for being imperfect…When happiness surrounds us…As we grow with love…We need faithfulness, my girl…”, Lay continued singing again as he slowly closed his eyes, falling deep into the song. Strangely – the first image that drawn inside his mind was a picture of Ara who smiled beautifully at him. Then he imagined her sitting by his side, making her nonstop jokes that never fail to make him laugh. Lay curved a happy smile on his lips, he was glad that he was about to marry that girl. Ara was about to be his real bride.

“Loving you…Missing you…Needing you…Till the end of time, forever with you…”, Mr. Park was now leaning back his body on the chair as he enjoyed his voice. Meanwhile, Mr. Lee was patting his fingers slowly on the table as he moved his head rhythmically with the melody. He was mesmerized looking at how coordinated the song arranged and composed by Lay. It was indeed a very good song to be heard. Both of the men started to feel the interest of this boy. Tiffany glanced sideway to both of them before she smiled upon seeing their excited face. Then she stared back at Lay, she like this boy. She will definitely make him one of her artist so she could know him better and closer than this.

“You, the one I called ‘love’…My truly and only love…Forever…let me feel it…The warmness of love…”, Lay ended his little performance before the room were filled with roaring applauses from Tiffany, Mr. Park and Mr. Lee. Lay got up from his seat and bowed down toward them with wide smile.

“Bravo, Mr. Zhang!!! The song match your voice very well!”, Mr. Park praised him as Mr. Lee nodded in agreement.

“Yeah…the lyric was beautifully written too…congratulation!”, he told Lay as the boy grinned sheepishly.

“Thank you…it’s my pleasure…”, he replied as Tiffany got up from her seat to walk over toward him, holding a clear folder inside her hand. Lay hastily got up too before he placed his guitar on the chair and grinned down to Tiffany. She winked at him.

“Here is your contract…read it properly and if you’re agree to it, just sign and you’re highly welcome to our recording company!”, she simply explained to him as she pushed the folder to his chest but Lay blinked at her.

“Eh??? That fast??? Are you sure you don’t want to discuss first with Mr. Park and Mr. Lee???”, he asked uncertainly as he rubbed his hair in total confusion. The men laughed once they saw his blurred face but Mr. Park shook his head to Lay.

“It’s fine, Mr. Zhang…we are completely agree with Ms. Tiffany…she is right about you…a talented boy like you shouldn’t be left in vain…we will polish you to be a real star!”, he said excitedly as Tiffany and Mr. Lee clapped their hands, supporting Lay. He smiled sheepishly but he nodded and took the folder inside his grip. Lay stared down to it for awhile, feeling the loud thumping inside his heart. What should he do??? He was about to be an official recording singer!!! Finally, his dream comes true! Then he looked up again toward Mr. Lee when he asked something to him.

“But, Mr. Zhang…are you sure you don’t have any other commitment like planning to marry any girl???”, he shot him with that personal matter again as Lay hesitated to answer him. He bit his lips, carefully arranged his words inside his mind to give an approximate answer but Tiffany suddenly chuckled beside him. They all turned to look at her.

“Don’t worry about it…I have made confirmed about it…you’re still a free agent right???”, Tiffany asked him playfully as Lay finally laughed sarcastically and robotically nodded his head.

“Yeah! I’m not marrying anyone…I’ll focus on my career…”, he told them, hiding the truth behind his voice as Mr. Lee and Mr. Park nodded in relief.

“Good to hear that…now, take a seat and sign the agreement…”, Mr. Park instructed him and Lay followed as he said. After he signed the contract, they congratulated each other and both of the men left Lay to stay inside the studio with Tiffany. She turned excitedly toward Lay once the door was closed behind them.

“So how do you feel??? Nervous???”, she asked him but Lay chuckled at her.

“It is normal to feel like that…it’s my first time after all to have a real career…”, he replied her and Tiffany nodded with smile. She watched him like he was the most interesting movie to be enjoyed as Lay walked around the studio, his hands anxiously on all the music instruments. Then they were suddenly interrupted by a phone ringing. Tiffany smiled apologetically toward Lay as he shook his head and motioned her to pick up her phone. She did as she conversed slowly with the caller. Once she hung up again, Lay walked over to stand in front of Tiffany. He grinned and bowed down to her.

“Thank you again for giving me a chance to participate in this industry…I’m looking forward to work with you…”, he said and held out his hand to shake it with her. Tiffany bit her lips, hesitated for awhile before she curved a seducing smile toward him and took his hand.

“You’re welcome!”, she replied and Lay was about to put down her hand again but Tiffany quickly pulled his body nearing her as Lay felt his face was dragged toward her before Tiffany landed a kiss on his cheek. Lay automatically widened his eyes.

“Hehe…see you later!”, Tiffany laughed mischievously and she dropped down his hand before she ran out from the room. Lay froze on his legs as he touched the spot where Tiffany kissed him just now. He gulped down his throat. What was that for??? A congratulation sign???

Kris stepped on the break of his car and it stopped instantly from moving. He glared sideway toward the front area of So Eun’s shop and at once, his vision was filled with the crowd consisted of paparazzi, reporters and cameramen. He hissed angrily as he took off his sunglasses. Then Kris grabbed his phone before he dialed on her number.

“Hello…”, a mature woman’s voice answered as Kris frowned to the phone. But he cleared his throat and put the phone next to his ear again.

“Em…may I speak to Miss…Mrs. Wu???”, he almost making a mistake in addressing her formal name. She was a ‘Mrs’ right now, no more a single ‘Miss’. Kris chuckled but the latter cleared .

“Mrs. Wu is here but she…she is a bit busy right now…”, Aunt Jung told him as Kris raised his eyebrow high.

“What??? She is very busy until she couldn’t manage to answer my call??? Where is she now??? Is she in the shop???”, Kris insisted to know about his wife’s current condition as Aunt Jung rolled her eyes over the line.

“No, she isn’t in the shop…she doesn’t come here today because her shop is trash by all the busybody presses so she couldn’t even open her shop…sorry!”, Aunt Jung replied him impatiently before she snapped close the line. Kris sighed loudly before he too, flipped close his phone. Then he glanced sideway again toward the shop. It was true that the shop was closed securely for today but if So Eun wasn’t here, where would she be??? Kris clicked his tongue in worried as he grabbed hold of his phone again.

“Let’s see if you can escape from me, Wu So Eun…”, he mumbled alone to the phone as his fingers busied pushing on the keypad to check on the GPS. At once, the map clicked on a very specific place once it had detected the location of her phone. Kris jerked up his eyebrow high when he read the name of that place – it called THE DREAMLAND WEDDING SHOP. Kris smirked to himself.

“Told you I’m a genius…you will never get away from me!”, he cursed under his breath again as he stared sternly toward the crowd that still didn’t give up to wait for So Eun around the shop.

“Jerk…”, he commented toward them as his eyes started to wander around the building in front of him. Then he curved a wicked smile when he saw the narrow way between the buildings that lead to the back side of the shop. He stepped hard on the pedal again before he drove his car to enter that way. Aunt Jung was just finished in refilling the water inside So Eun’s favorite bouquet. She put down the vase on the counter back as she glanced sideway toward So Eun. She was still deep in her sleep as Kim Bum smiled up toward Aunt Jung. She darted her eyes on him too as she replied his friendly smile with a grin.

“Your arm must be tired…she sleep quick long today…”, Aunt Jung said to him and Kim Bum shook his head.

“No…I’m perfectly fine…she look so peaceful right now…let’s not wake her yet…”, Kim Bum suggested and Aunt Jung nodded in agreement. When she was about to land her on one of the chair, suddenly an aggressive sound of someone knocking on the door filled the back room of the shop.

“DUM! DUM! DUM!”, the door was kept on being slammed by someone as Aunt Jung exchanged weird looks with Kim Bum. No one make a move to open the back door because they were afraid that it came from any of the presses. They never wish for her to be disturbed again as So Eun was just started to relax herself. Then they heard someone called out her name.

“Yah, Wu So Eun!!! So Eun ah!!! Yah!!!”, Aunt Jung let go of a long sigh when she recognized the voice. It must be belonged to Kris as she remembered hearing him shouted at So Eun the day they met each other here. Kim Bum stared questioningly toward Aunt Jung before she shook her head and got up to walk over toward the door.

“Wait up!”, she shouted to make him stay silence as she unlocked the door and at once, Kris pulled it open widely. He stared arrogantly down to her before he ignored her serious look on him as Kris walked past her into the shop.

“Where is she??? Where is So Eun???”, he asked like a CSI detective as he scanned for her around the shop. Then he stopped walking halfway when he caught sight of his wife, sitting on the couch with a man next to her. Bonus, that man was cuddling So Eun inside his arm gently as she rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes tightly, clearly deep in her sleep. It stuck Kris to see them together like that. He felt a sudden anger bottled up inside him when he realized that So Eun was ignoring him for the whole day only to be here with a stranger and plus, sleeping soundly with him! Kris sighed angrily as he closed his eyes for awhile, gathering his patience over this entire trouble. Kim Bum blinked his eyes upon seeing this tall handsome man but he knew it at once that he was So Eun’s husband. He read much news about him, the good and the bad so he fully remembered his arrogant stunning face. Even a man like him has to admit that Kris was indeed one of the best looking men that he ever met. Finally, he didn’t manage to control his anger anymore so Kris robotically walked over toward them as he kicked the couch loudly to make it shaky in order to wake So Eun up. He frowned down to her.

“Yah, Wu So Eun!!! Get up!!! Now!!”, he scolded her loudly and his usual rough voice woke up So Eun at once. She stirred in her sleep before she slightly bounced her body on the couch and sat straight again. Kim Bum removed his hand around her and distancing their bodies to give her more space. So Eun rubbed her eyes in tiredness as she yawned loudly, still didn’t aware that Kris was standing straight before her with his hands on his hips. Kris rolled his eyes in disgust when he saw how calm she was.

“Hurmmm…what time is now???”, she asked lazily as she stretched her body and hands but Kris instantly grabbed So Eun by her arm, making her to yell in surprise as she felt her body was lifted to stand up on the floor.

“Ah!”, she said before she stopped to stare eyes to eyes with Kris. She blinked at him as Kris smirked at her. Kim Bum was now exchanging a confuse look from So Eun to Kris then back to So Eun again. Aunt Jung chuckled silently from behind of the couple. When So Eun finally regained her consciousness, she hissed angrily toward him and pushed her hand free from his grip. Kris was still putting on his scary look while So Eun bit her lips in mental rejection. How on Earth would he be here??? Then she shot him with her deadly glares again.

“What are you doing here???”, she asked him sternly as Kris rolled his eyes.

“I’m looking for playground…”, he answered her carelessly before he grabbed hold of her hand again and dragged her toward the front door.

“No, no! Let me go!!! I don’t want to face the ridiculous presses!!!”, she complained in sulking tone as she struggled to free her hand from him but Kris tighten his grip around her wrist.

“Don’t be a silly! Sooner or later you have to face them too! Now, just keep quiet and follow me!”, he commanded her like So Eun was part of his play toy. Kim Bum didn’t bear to look So Eun was treated like that by her own husband so he hurried toward them and stopped Kris when he grabbed hold of his shoulder. Kris turned to glare at him but Kim Bum held his gazes bravely toward Kris. They stared angrily toward each other as So Eun was still pushing Kris on his arm to let go of her.

“Please…be careful on your way to treat her…you will hurt her if you keep on going treating her like she is some kind of doll…you should be polite and gentle toward So Eun…she is your wife after all…”, Kim Bum reminded him but Kris chuckled.

“Thanks for your advice but she is my wife…mind you, MY WIFE! So it’s up to me to treat her according on my own way…”, Kris replied stubbornly back as he hugged So Eun closer to him. So Eun tried to open to say something but she was caught in confusion between the two men. Lastly she let her body weaken inside Kris’s arm as she leaned her weight on his body. Kris glanced slightly toward her and he silently feeling satisfied that she chose to lean on him instead of fighting against him again. So Kris turned back toward Kim Bum and raised an eyebrow to him.

“Excuse us then…”, he said sternly before he closed one arm around So Eun and unlocked the front door to walk out from it. So Eun forced a weak smile toward Kim Bum, now staring intensely to her but she followed her husband to leave the shop from the front door. Once they were out, the reporters were surprise to see Kris with his wife. So Eun blinked and hid her face on Kris’s chest when her sight was filled with the sudden snapping of cameras again. Kris stood straight but he held tighter to So Eun.

“Mr. Wu!!! Please answer our questions…”, the reporters started to shoot them with questions but Kris held up his palm firmly toward them.

“If you guys have any question regarding my relationship with Sooyoung sshi…then do it properly…we will hold a press conference tonight so make sure to be there instead of causing trouble to my wife like this! Please, I hope that all of you won’t come here to disturb her privacy again…”, Kris clearly told them, raising his voice high to fight against the noisy sound of cameras. So Eun gazed up to him, feeling her heart melted again with his fake words but she quickly looked away when Kris also glanced down to her. They gulped down their throats in awkwardness for awhile before Kris bowed down to the presses. So Eun followed his action and they pushed their bodies among them to leave the area.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Sooyoung raised her head, looking up to a low-cost apartment that situated between one of the narrow ways among the heart of this Seoul night city. She turned when her assistant called out to her.

“Sooyoung sshi…here is the complete list that you want regarding all the residents in this apartment…”, he said as he held a file colored in dark blue toward Sooyoung. She smiled sweetly before she took it and at once, flipped it open to reveal the pages inside. She read each of the names that printed on the pages before her eyes stopped on one of it. She frowned.

“This family…isn’t someone from the members have a potential job???”, she asked as she pointed on the name toward her assistant. He gazed to it before he shook his head.

“No, missy…according to my investigation, this family only consist three people which are a single mother alongside with a son and her little daughter…but none of them have proper job…of course the little sister is still in her high school…”, he explained to her and Sooyoung nodded understandingly. Then she flipped the pages from the list to their respective profile. She searched for the one that managed to capture her interest before she stopped reading one of them. She curved a satisfy smile again.

“Found you…”, she whispered to herself before she heard a person or two running down to the parking lot just nearby from the place where Sooyoung stayed in her car. She peeked out from the window as she caught sight of a girl running with a man tailing behind her.

“Hina ah! Please, stop! Listen to me!”, that man yelled out loud to her before he grabbed her by her wrist. The young girl turned her head angrily toward the man as she tried to release her hand from him.

“Let go of me, you pig headed!!!”, she snapped at him but he tighten his grip on her, making her to yell in pain. Sooyoung leaned on the seat of her car as she watched the two with cunning stares. That man hissed to her.

“You better shut up and listen to me!!! I’ll get you the money but remember to stay with mom…she needs someone to care for her…”, he said but the girl smirked.

“Why should I be taking care of that dying woman??? Because of her, I couldn’t live happily like any other girls! Because of her, dad is gone and now…even because of her; I have to quit the school!!! Damn her!!! Why should I give up everything in my life just because to save her??? I give my everything to her but still, she wasted me like useless rubbish!!!”, the girl let out her anger fully as she scolded him on top of her lungs. Then she ended up crying as she kneeled down to the road and sobbing loudly. The man cursed under his breath as he massaged his neck in frustration. Sooyoung shook her head upon witnessing the drama. Her assistant glanced back at her before he chuckled.

“Miss, why do you want him as your target???”, he asked her suddenly as Sooyoung let out a wicked laugh.

“Because desperate people never say no to anything…they would sell their souls to the devil if that will bring their wish to come true…”, she answered in matter-factly tone as the assistant nodded. Then they shifted their eyes back to the pair. The man right now had kneeled down next to the girl as he slowly patted her hair.

“I’m sorry, Hina ah…I doesn’t manage to give you and mom a perfect life…oppa terribly sorry to you…”, he consoled her as he pulled his sister into his arms. She continued crying inside his embraces before he supported her to stand up again. When the girl had calmed down a bit, the man held tight on both of her shoulders as he stared deeply into her teary eyes.

“Now, listen to me…I changed my plan…you don’t have to quit school and you can keep your scholarship for you own fee…don’t worry about mom because…”, he started to explain but then he sighed. “…because I’ll figure out another way to find the money…”, he finished his words and the girl wiped away her tears from her cheeks.

“Promise???”, she asked him and the man smiled.

“Promise…”, he agreed gently as he curved a small smiled toward her. Then she held her sobs before she forced her face to draw a smile for him too. He nodded.

“Now, go back to our home…don’t make mom to worry about you…she must be waiting for now…”, he told her and the girl pouted but she walked back to the apartment, arranging her weak steps up inside the building. Once she lost from his sight, the man sighed loudly as he covered and rubbed his face with his palms. He frowned in frustration, putting his hands on his hips as he fell deep in his train of thoughts. Meanwhile he stood there; Sooyoung took a quick glance on his profile again inside her hand. Then she exhaled shortly before she pulled open the door of her car. She got out from it as she smiled from behind of his back. The man was still spaced out, clearly evaporated with the chilly air around them. Sooyoung squeezed her shoulders confidently as she walked over to the man. He turned around at once when his ears caught sound of her high heels stepping on the rough tar of the road. He frowned in confusion to her as Sooyoung smiled knowingly toward him.

“You’re…Mr. Lee Joon, right???”, she asked him in her most alluring soft voice. The man blinked but he nodded robotically.

“Who are you??? What do you want???”, he asked her back as Sooyoung chuckled at her.

“I’m Choi Sooyoung…daughter of the fifth richest man in Korea…and I’m here to help you and your family…”, Sooyoung introduced herself in her formal tone before she held out her hand to shake it with him. Instead, Lee Joon eyed her suspiciously.

“Sorry…but I’m not trusting the beautiful girl…they can be really scary and wicked…”, he simply answered her as he rolled his eyes and turned to walk away.

“Your mother…is suffering for the heart disease, right??? But poor her…she couldn’t attend any hospital because of her jobless son is doing nothing to save her…”, Sooyoung suddenly said sarcastically and it stopped Lee Joon from walking further. He hastily glanced back again at her as he frowned.

“How do you know about her???”, he asked dumbly but Sooyoung smirked.

“Told you I’m a rich girl…there is nothing that I can’t achieve because it’s all is within my reach…”, she replied seductively as she crumpled her hand in front of his face. Lee Joon raised his eyebrow toward her.

“Thanks for your concern but my mother isn’t some kind of charity activity for you…you may leave, I don’t need your help at all…”, he refused stubbornly and tried to turn again but Sooyoung was fast enough to run over to him and grabbed hold of his arms.

“Then tell me…do you want your mother to die???”, she shot him with question again as Lee Joon started to lose his patience toward this ridiculous weird girl. He clicked his tongue impatiently.

“It is none of your business!!!”, he exclaimed loudly and pushed Sooyoung away to give him the way to resume walking but Sooyoung chuckled and sighed loudly.

“Fine…how about 5 million won for your mother???”, she offered him, making Lee Joon to frown and stopped halfway. Sooyoung turned to him and smiled on his back. Well, human can be so weak when it comes to money. It was indeed the most dangerous drug for everyone. Sooyoung thought evilly as she walked over to stand next to him again, staring up to his stony face.

“Come on…I can help you to save your mother…don’t worry about the medication…I’ll take responsible on it too…”, she said again as Lee Joon glared sideway to her. She was a psycho. Lee Joon thought silently inside his mind before he smirked and walked away again. Sooyoung bit her lips in anger, crossing her arms together but then she turned toward him again when Lee Joon suddenly held his paces stay on one spot. He chuckled.

“Make it included with my sister’s school fee and everything that she wish to have…”, he finally replied and Sooyoung nodded with satisfaction at him.

“Of course…”, she muttered sarcastically back as Lee Joon turned his body to face her. He held his empty stares on her demonic smile as he kept his hands inside his pockets.

“So…what do you want in return??? I know you won’t be a fool to offer me such a free help if you don’t really have any intention…”, he told her, heading straight to the real business. Sooyoung pouted but she grinned happily, nodding her head.

“Cunning…good, I like your style…”, she praised him as Lee Joon shrugged. Then Sooyoung rubbed her chin, pretending to be deep in thinking.

“Hmmm…let’s see…before I give you any task…I need to make confirm that you’re willing to do anything for me…”, she told him, smiling while battling her eyelashes sweetly toward him. Lee Joon snorted but he nodded lazily.

“I swear, I’ll do my best on behalf of anything that you ask…”, he agreed.

“Promise??? Even though the task may be risky to your life???”, she tested him again, pouting before Lee Joon stared in confusion to her. Then Sooyoung laughed.

“I know…it is hard to agree when you’re gambling your life on it…but, unfortunately…it is too late to turn me down because…I have everything single thing about you, Lee Joon sshi…”, she said wickedly to him as she scrolled on the screen of her phone and held it up toward him. Lee Joon was automatically caught in surprise when he saw every detail of his crimes that he committed in his past. Sooyoung laughed devilishly once she saw his pale face.

“Don’t worry, Lee Joon sshi…as long as you play nice with me, I won’t reveal your secret too…but, em…shop lifting…isn’t that look too desperate???”, she mumbled again, commenting randomly on his crime records. Lee Joon bit his lips but he knew he has to stay patient with this girl. So he finally nodded.

“Yes…I’ll do it…even though it will risk my entire life…”, he blankly agreed with her as Sooyoung smirked in satisfaction. Then she slowly arranged her steps to stand eyes to eyes with him. She leaned forward to Lee Joon before she whispered to him mysteriously.

“I want you to kill someone for me…”, she voiced out her deadly request as Lee Joon froze on his legs. Yes, he did many types of bad things before like being a drug dealer, shop lifting here and there but to steal someone’s soul…he never do that. Lee Joon found himself crumpling his hands into fists once Sooyoung stood up straight again and she lit up an evil smile to him.

A taxi stopped in front of a house, painted in light violet as a boy came out from the door. He took a quick glimpse up to the house as another person stepped out, following him behind as she shut the door back.

“Thank you, adjusshi!”, Ara said her gratitude to the taxi driver as she waved cheerfully toward him. Lay who stood next to her just went on smiling shortly before he jumped once Ara clapped her hands.

“Aigoo!!! Finally, I’m home again!!!”, she cheered loudly, smacking Lay on his shoulder as she burst into loud laughter. Lay eyed her confusedly but he frankly followed when Ara started to walk nearing the main door. She pushed a finger on the bell button.

“Ding dong…ding dong…”, it rang inside as they heard footsteps running from behind the door.

“Coming!!!”, Ara grinned excitedly when she recognized that the voice belonged to someone that she died to meet with after all this time staying alone in Seoul.

“Welcome to Go…”, a woman greeted cheerfully once she opened the door wide. But when she spotted Ara standing there, grinning and making a peace sign toward her, they both jumped in excitement and screamed together.

“AHHH!!! ARA YAH!!!! ARA IS HERE!!! YOU’RE HERE!!! AHHH!!!”, that woman yelled. Lay clutched his heart at the sudden extreme reaction but then he jumped in shock again when…

“AHHHH!!!OMMAAAA!!!I MISS YOU!!! I REALLY, REALLLYY DAMN MISSING YOU!!!!”,Ara herself yelled on top of her lungs before she jumped a few times on her feet and ended up bumped her body with her mother. They hugged each other, continued to scream in union as Lay found himself froze when he stared blankly on the hyperactive mother-daughter pairing.

“Aigoo!!! My beautiful daughter is finally here…let me see you!!! Aigoo…you’ve become sooo pretty!!!”, her mom said once they broke their embraces and Ara stood straight, grinning widely to her when she held her shoulders tight. Lay rolled his eyes in silence. Which part of her that pretty??? Is there really any improvement??? He thought dully but when Lay was about to regain his calmness, slowly approaching the woman to greet her but then…

“OMO!!! OMO!!! OMO!!! LOOK WHO IS HERE!!! AIGOO!!! MY PRETTY WEDDING PLANNER!!!”, Lay was once again blinking his eyes in confusion when he felt his eardrums nearly tear apart once it caught the loud voice of a man. Lay glared toward the doorway and he saw an old man, came running toward the weirdo mother-daughter just now. With him stood there, the weirdo became a trio right now!

“YEAH!!! YEY!!! YEY!!!”, Ara was holding her parents’ hands as they formed a circle and kept on jumping in a round at the doorway. Lay sighed heavily, shaking his head in mental rejection. How could such noisy and active family exist in his world??? Then they stopped jumping and laughed out loud together again.

“Hahahahaha!!! Welcome back, Ara yah…”, Mrs. Go welcomed her only daughter as she Ara’s silky black hair. She winked at her.

“Thank you!”, she said and hugged Mr. Go around his shoulders. “Appa! I really miss you, you know?”

“Aigoo…don’t lie to me…I know that you’re actually missing our arm-wrestling battle, right??? Right???”, Mr. Go asked her daughter back, pointing a finger toward her. Ara snapped a hand on her forehead.

“As expected from my daddy!!! You’re the best!!!”, she cheered him again and they laughed while giving a high-five toward each other. Then Mrs. Go waved her hands between her daughter and husband, separating them.

“Now, now…stop it! If you want to play the arm-wrestling or whatever stuff it is, let Ara come in first…she must be tired arriving here this late…”, she reasoned out and Ara clicked her fingers to her mother.

“That’s right, omma! I’m starving! I wanna eat!! Wait...where is grandma??? Grandma!!!”, Ara nagged but when she remembered another member of her family, she jumped and quickly ran bursting into the house, completely forgot the existence of a human called Lay. He blew air out of his mouth in disbelief before he tilted his head inside the door and yelled toward her.

“YAH, GO ARA!!!”, he screamed, hands on his hips. That was when both of the Go couple jumped simultaneously, clutching their hearts when they were startled by Lay. He glanced sideway to them and smiled.

“Em…hello…I…”, Lay was about to introduce himself and bent his head to bow but Mr. Go had ran hastily nearing him before he aggressively grabbed Lay by his collar.

“Who are you???!! What do you want with my daughter???!!! How dare you’re following her around!!!”, Mr. Go scolded him loudly as Lay shook his head in fast mode, suddenly feeling shock with the accusation toward him. Mrs. Go also came to stand next to her husband as she shot her scary glares straight to Lay’s innocent face.

“Yeah! What are you??? A stalker of our Ara???”, she added as Lay dropped his jaws widely, startled to hear such accusation from both of her parents. Lay sighed loudly before he pushed Mr. Go away to free himself as he clicked his tongue impatiently toward the couple.

“Please…I’m not being a stalker to anyone! I’m Ara’s…haish!!! Can you call her for awhile???”, he said, desperate to explain the real situation to them as he pointed his finger inside the house, motioning her parents to call for Ara. Mrs. Go chuckled at him.

“And why should we call her??? To let you disturb our lovely Ara???”, she replied in disgust again and now Lay couldn’t contain his anger anymore so he inhaled deeply before…

“GO ARA!!! YOU COME HERE RIGHT NOW!!!”, he yelled loudly, releasing his stress in dealing with this lunatic parents of Ara. When Mr. Go and his wife had froze and blinked to Lay, then only Ara came running back to the door.

“Yo!”, she greeted him in complete ease, now a chocolate ice cream inside her hand. Lay cursed in his heart. She seriously treated him like they never come here together just now. Then Lay pointed impatiently at both Mr. Go and Mrs. Go.

“Can you please explain to them why on Earth I am here???”, he asked her, frowning sternly before Ara smacked her forehead.

“Yeah…almost forget about it…”, she simply replied and turned her body toward her parents. They were now eyeing her daughter and Lay suspiciously. Ara grinned at them.

“Omma, appa…here is my future husband, Lay or his Chinese name…Zhang Yixing…we are about to get married next week…”, Ara informed them easily as she leaned her body on the side wall, still deep in enjoying her ice cream while having her hand pointed straight to Lay. This time, he properly bowed down to them.

“Nice meeting both of you…ajumma, adjusshi…”, Lay greeted them back but her parents had now stood motionless as they stared emptily from Ara to Lay and back again to their daughter. Lay gulped down his throat silently. Her parents must be in total shock right now. They were just accusing him to be a stalker of their daughter and now…Ara was introducing him as her future husband. It was all too twisted for them! But then…

“CONGRATULATIONS!!!”, Mr. Go and Mrs. Go wished them on top of their lungs as them gathered Ara and Lay to hug them together at once. Ara chuckled on his father’s shoulder while Lay glanced confusedly toward Ara from a side of her mother’s neck. Ara only winked at him even when she saw his please-give-me-some-explanation face. Then her parents let them go as they laughed out proudly.

“Aigoo…I never realize that my daughter has grown this big…you’re a big girl right now…planning to get married…good! good!”, Mr. Go said to the couple as both Ara and Lay smiled sheepishly. Then her mother touched Lay by his shoulder, making him to turn toward her. She eyed Lay from head to heel as she nodded with smile.

“I feel so afraid of you just now but seeing that you’re willing to accompany Ara to be here at this late hour…I finally feel relieve…I know that Ara can count on you…”, she told him and Lay shook his head, grinning back to her.

“No…we’ve promise to come visit her family to discuss about the wedding plan…so I hope that you guys give us your permission…”, he said politely and Mr. Go nodded his own head.

“Yeah…we will agree with you…but now, let’s get inside! We have so many things to be talked!”, he cheered excitedly and they all laughed together. Then Mr. Go and his wife led the young couple into the living room, leaving Ara and Lay to walk with each other. But then Lay grabbed Ara by her arm. She glanced sideway and raised her eyebrow.

“What???”, she asked as Lay chuckled.

“I know you’re excited to see your family again…but, please…don’t leave me alone…and here! Bring your own stuff!”, he whispered to her as he scolded her about the incident just now and shoved a bag belonged to Ara. She gazed down to it but she rolled her eyes.

“If you don’t want to bring it along, then just leave it there…I’ll pick it up later…”, Ara answered boringly as she resumed walking inside. Lay cursed and made a gesture to hit her from behind but then he closed the door and followed her.

“Grandma! Here is my husband-to-be!”, Ara told happily once they were in the living room. Lay stopped halfway at the entrance as he scanned around. This living room was small but it has the homey feeling inside it. Then his sight stopped on an old lady, now resting calmly on one of the wooden couch. She lit up a small smile to him when their eyes met. Lay bowed down to her.

“Hello, young man…welcome to Go family…”, she greeted him and Lay nodded obediently. Mrs. Go walked out from the nearby kitchen area with a big bowl inside her hands. She took a quick glance to Ara.

“Yah! What are you still doing there??? Go on! Get the Japanese table from the store…we will start eating right now…”, she ordered her as Ara pouted.

“Fine…I’ll get it…”, but she surrendered and got up from the seat to walk over to the store at the back of the house. Lay who didn’t know where to go or what to do, tailed her behind as he half running toward her. Ara rolled her eyes.

“Why are you following me around??? Just go and stay with grandma for awhile…”, she told him but Lay shook his head.

“No…let me help you with the table…”, he said instead but Ara laughed wickedly to him.

“Coward…”, she simply commented and they arrived at the storeroom. Ara pulled open the door as she clicked on the lamp switch. The small sized room was still like the last time Ara ever saw it. The arrangement was all the same. She scanned around to find the table while Lay stood behind her, waiting for her to make a move.

“Find it???”, he asked but Ara rubbed her hair as she frowned.

“Wait…I’ve forget how it look…”, she answered him as Lay chuckled.

“How can you forget the furniture inside your own house???”, he but Ara glared shortly to him.

“It has been quite long since I went back here, okay??? Be considerate!”, she exclaimed and Lay laughed at her reaction. Then she moved further inside to search for the table as Lay started to browse the multi collection of old painting that arranged neatly at the corner of the room. He smiled down at the artworks.

“Who love all these painting???”, he asked her and Ara glanced sideway back to him.

“My late grandpa…”, she told him and Lay nodded. He kept his hands inside his pockets as Ara still busied grumbling among the antique stuff to find the Japanese table.

“Aigoo!!! Where are they??? Is it so hard to find only a table??? What a slow poke!”, Mrs. Go blabbed alone as she waited for Ara and Lay to come back with the table. They had finished serving the food but they never appear in the kitchen again. Mr. Go shook his head.

“Maybe Ara forget about the look of the table…let me go and check…”, he said as he got up from his seat. Mrs. Go eyed her husband walking out from the kitchen but then she followed him too.

“I wanna see her too...I want to scold her! Ugh! Slow poke daughter!”, she cursed angrily again but her husband chuckled and shook his head.

“Ah! Here it is! I found it…”, finally Ara yelled out once she landed her eyes on a wooden table folded behind a big rocking chair. She walked forward and extended her hands to pull it out. Then she groaned.

“Argh!!! It is so heavy! Yah, don’t be a sculpture there! Come and help me!”, she shouted out to Lay and he made a face.

“I thought you’re one tough girl…”, he commented teasingly as Ara rolled her eyes.

“Yeah…tough enough to break your bone if you don’t help me…now give me your hands!”, she instructed him and Lay finally walked over to help her. She bent down closer to the table and pulled it out with her full strength. Lay stood motionless behind her, watching her working on it alone as he placed his hands on his hips and covered his laughter from burst out loud. Ara glared at him but she still didn’t give up.

“You monkey headed!!!”, she cursed him as Lay stuck out his tongue playfully to him. At last, he sighed and shook his head when Ara still didn’t manage to get it out from behind the rocking chair.

“Yah, Go Ara sshi…can you admit it that you’re the one that monkey headed??? How can you get it out if you don’t remove the chair??? Aigoo…what a fool! Now step aside!”, he finally scolded her and lightly pushed her shoulders to give him space to reach for the table. Ara hissed but she turned back to stand up again. Simultaneously, Lay bent toward her to grab the table. Their faces bumped with each other and…

“Ara yah! Do you find it???”, Mrs. Go and her husband finally arrived at the store but they stopped dead in front of the door when they widened their eyes toward Ara and Lay. Their daughter and Lay were frozen in a very unique pose as they kissed each other! Ara was kneeling down on the floor next to the table while Lay bent down toward her, kissing her. They blinked for awhile before they screamed and ran apart.

“AHHHH!!!”, Ara ran hastily toward her parents, hiding her body from behind her mother while Lay ran to stand behind one of the painting that he held up high to cover his face. How could they accidently kissing likes that in front of her parents??? Lay cursed silently from behind the painting while Ara shook her head, a sudden headache shot inside her brain. Mr. Go and Mrs. Go blinked their eyes toward the two for awhile before they burst out laughing madly.

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”, they clutched their stomachs together as Ara glared toward them.

“Stop it!”, she scolded them as she fanned herself with her hand, suddenly filling the warm inside the small room. Her parents shook their heads as Lay slowly put down the painting, revealing his face toward the couple.

“Aigoo…sorry that we interrupted the romantic scene just now…hahahaha!”, Mrs. Go commented carelessly as she smacked her husband by his arm.

“Yeah…now I’m looking forward to have a grandchild…judging from how lovey-dovey you guys are…”, Mr. Go also replied open-mindedly as Ara and Lay exchanged surprise looks between them. Mrs. Go pulled her husband by his hand and started to walk away.

“Come, come…let’s not disturb them…we better go and search for our grandchild’s beautiful names…”, she said to him as Mr. Go nodded in agreement. Ara and Lay stood motionless there before her parents lost behind the wall. Then Ara shot a glare toward Lay whom eyed her in equal disgust.

“You better stay away from me!”, they said simultaneously. Then they put their hands on their hips together too.

“Don’t copy me!!!”, again in union as they finally sighed loud.

“Let’s eat!”, Ara broke the awkwardness and they started to take their steps together toward the door but then their shoulders collided with each other at the entrance when both of them tried hard to squeeze their bodies out.

“Yah, let me out first!”

“No, I’m bigger than you so let me go out first!”, Lay replied stubbornly to her as they kept on pushing each other until…

“Ouch!!!”, their heads bumped and they exchanged their glares.

So Eun sighed loudly as she closed her eyes, trying to calm the anger inside her. Then she stood straight before the long stand mirror the moment she opened her eyes back. She hissed at her reflection. A silky green mini gown with a pair of pricy heels – what actually the benefit in dressing her like this??? So Eun thought angrily before she cursed under her breath and pulled out the gown from her body. She quickly changed into her earlier clothes and threw the attires alongside with its accessories on a table that situated inside the dressing room. Then her eyes caught sight of two pieces of paper on it as she grabbed it up before her eyes. She glared grudgingly toward it.

“Hmmm…I’ve known Ms. Sooyoung long before and I don’t mind her close relation with my husband??? What bull is that??? Why on Earth I’ve to lie for them??? Aish!!! I seriously don’t get it!!!”, So Eun mumbled alone when she read the script inside her hands. It was the script made by Kris’s secretary for the press conference tonight. She hated it that she was the one that need to attend the conference and simultaneously has to lie regarding Kris-Sooyoung relationship. “As her wife, you have to cover it for him…”, So Eun breathed out in disbelief once she remembered what she was told by her mother-in-law. Why everybody was so selfish and cruel toward her??? First she was forced to marry him to have him escaped from Sooyoung and her baby. Now, she has to lie again about their scandalous gossip!

“Who are you trying to kid??? It’s obvious to everyone who is at fault right now!!!”, she scolded again and threw away the papers on the floor. Then she picked up her handbag before she burst out from the dressing room.

“Are you ready, Mrs…”, the coordinator asked her but she fell silent once she saw So Eun didn’t wear the clothes arranged for her. She shook her head and walked over to So Eun.

“Mrs. Wu…you’re about to meet the press…you need to look…”, she explained to her only to earn a sharp glare from So Eun. It stopped her from talking as So Eun rubbed her hair in frustration.

“Enough! I’m not a robot that can be set into a specific frequency to follow your orders! Just let me wear anything as long as we can settle out this problem!”, she snapped at the coordinator. She sighed but she chose to drop the matter as she walked out from the waiting room. At the door, she gasped when she saw Kris standing next to it. His face looked stern, hearing clearly when So Eun scolded the coordinator just now. She bowed down to him and left with a long sigh. Kris crossed his arms together before he entered the room. So Eun was now sitting on a chair as she had her shoulders dropped down in despair. Kris stood before her.

“Have you memorize the script???”, he asked but So Eun stayed silence. Then Kris shook his head.

“I’m…”, he started but So Eun smirked up to him.

“Don’t say you’re sorry…”, she told him that made him fell silent too. They stared to each other’s eyes.

“Next time, when you want to meet Sooyoung sshi again…please use your brain and do it in private…at least think about me…don’t cause trouble like this again…”, she said bitterly to him before she got up and walked to leave the room. Kris sighed at the now empty chair. He knew that he had hurt her this time but there was nothing that he could do to undone the night when Sooyoung kissed him.

“Mr. Wu…it’s time…”, a man appeared by the door and signaled to him that the press conference was about to begin. Kris nodded his head slowly before he took his steps, walking out from the room. So Eun had already stood straight in front of the door that will lead into the grand hall where all the presses were waiting. Kris stopped next to her as he held his hand toward So Eun. So Eun glanced sideway.

“Here is another act from us…let’s get it done fast enough for you…”, that was the only thing that he can say to her. So Eun bit her lips, hiding away the ached inside her heart as she braced herself to take his hand. They entwined their hands before the door was opened widely and they walked inside. The cameramen started to hover around them, clicking their photos. So Eun and Kris finally sat around a long table that place to face the presses. Then the MC announced the beginning of the ceremony. A reporter raised up his hand.

“This question is for Mrs. Wu…can you please tell us the truth about the relationship between Mr. Wu and Ms. Choi? What do you know about them as his wife???”, he asked her as So Eun gulped down . Kris turned to her, supporting her with his deep stares. So Eun glanced uncertainly to him.

“Em…they are…best friends since they studied aboard together…their relation is really close…yeah…”, she answered, feeling dried to utter out each of the words. The reporter nodded and another one raised her hand.

“So what exactly happened that night??? Did they accidently kissing each other???”, she asked and Kris tried to open his mouth, answering her but So Eun had first did it for him.

“You can take it as an accident because my husband was drunk that night…so he mistook Ms. Choi as me and kissed her…seriously…there is nothing weird happen between them…”, she went on covering the matter for him. Kris bit his lips, poor his wife. She looked really painful to struggle in answering all the questions according to the script. One of the presses frowned at them.

“But Mrs. Wu…if you don’t mind the incident…don’t you feel surprise at all??? Or angry and jealous maybe???”, he asked her but So Eun shook her head, slightly curved up a small smile.

“No…I don’t feel like that…”, she lied and Kris turned his head toward her upon hearing her answer. “…because I trust him…I trust Kris as my husband…so I hope everyone does too…please stop accusing Ms. Choi, saying that she interrupt into my marriage…it is not like that actually…”, she added again and Kris felt something hard stuck inside his heart, making him hard to breathe. This answer of her wasn’t part of the script. Did it really come sincerely from her heart??? Kris thought dully before he exhaled. He looked sideway to the presses before he grabbed So Eun by her hand, making her to startle a bit.

“You have your answer…now, excuse us…”, he told them coldly as he dragged So Eun to get up with him. The presses started to circle them again, asking unstoppable questions but Kris ignored all of them as his bodyguards covered So Eun and him from all the cameramen. Finally, they were out from the building.

“Where are you taking me???”, So Eun asked absentmindedly once Kris brought her to his car.

“You will know later…”, he replied and he drove them to a place. So Eun kept herself silence inside the car, throwing her sight out from the window. Kris stole a glance to her side face but he saw the emptiness on her pretty feature.

“You wanna hear the music???”, Kris asked, trying to break the awkwardness as he pushed on the radio but So Eun quickly switched it off back even before the radio utter out a sound. Kris sighed and gripped harder on the steering. This was the first time since they know each other where So Eun acted coldly toward him. He didn’t know this side of stubbornness from So Eun. He drove until the car entered a neighborhood. So Eun started to feel weird when she saw all the outstanding design of the long rows of villa outside the car. She turned to look at Kris but they finally stopped in front of another huge villa. She tilted her head closer to the window, feeling her jaw dropped open when she set her eyes on the beautiful house. Can she call it a house??? It was way too big to become one! Kris switched off the engine and he got out from the car. So Eun followed him and he came to stand next to her. So Eun pointed a finger toward the villa.

“What…what is this???”, she asked in disbelief, eyes still on the villa even though she was asking him. Kris chuckled as he crossed his arms and leaned on the door of his car behind them. They stared up toward the villa.

“This is the house presented by appa to us…it’s your first time seeing it right???”, Kris asked her back and So Eun nodded robotically to him. Then he laughed slowly once he saw her surprise face. He walked over to the giant gate and pulled out a small black remote from inside his pocket. Then he clicked on it to automatically open the gate wide. So Eun was once again startled by the high-technology stuff that she used to see whenever she was around this rich boy. He left her there as he entered the large compound first. Slowly, So Eun took her steps into the gate and her eyes wandered around in amazement toward all the beautiful landscape of the front garden. Even in the night, she could see all the colorful multi-types of flowers planted around it. Then she stopped to stand before a fountain. She smiled upon seeing the crystal clear water flowed out from the top of the fountain. She also eyed the glittering neon lamps that decorated around the garden, glowing the villa like a fairytale castle. Suddenly her imagination was interrupted by Kris when he called out loudly to her.

“Yah! Don’t space out there…come here!”, So Eun glared to him that was now standing on top of the staircase that lead to the main door of the villa. She pouted at him but she dragged her feet toward Kris.

“What???”, she asked sternly as Kris pointed his head toward the door.

“What are you waiting for??? Unlock the door…you have the key, right???”, he asked her back and So Eun rolled her eyes. Then she zipped off her bag to take out the small key. What a tiny thing to lead such a giant house! So Eun thought dully before she moved closer to the door and pushed the key into its knob. At once, it clicked and So Eun opened the door in thrilled. She poked in her head before Kris pushed her to enter fully inside the house.

“Aish…”, she made a face toward him but Kris had now walked inside to press on another button from the remote earlier. At once, the whole house was bright up with lights. So Eun stared excitedly on a big chandelier hung on the tall shilling above them. The living room was so HUGE that it could almost be consider as a grand hall! She walked further nearing the couch set as Kris cleared his throat loudly.

“Em…ehem…your room is on the first floor…mine is on the third floor…”, he informed her as So Eun glared anxiously toward him.

“Then how about the second floor??? Is it empty??? No one stay there??? Don’t tell me that we’re going to live here alone together!”, she snapped at him, putting up her hands on her hips. Kris snorted at her.

“Unfortunately, we will…plus, the second floor will be our meeting place…if you have anything to discuss with me, then meet me up there…if not, let’s just stay on our respective floor…”, he explained to her in his CEO’s tone and walked away. So Eun chuckled in disgust as she eyed him up and down.

“Aigoo…such a waste to buy this house only to live with this trouble! And he is a real weirdo! We can meet everywhere inside this house! At the kitchen…living room…dining room…or on the stairs!”, So Eun mumbled alone to herself before she slammed her body down to the couch.

“Ahhh…so comfortable!”, she said, still didn’t believe that she could live in such a luxurious house. Then her smile was swept away once she saw Kris, walking out from the kitchen.

“What are you doing there??? Go and check your room…if you have anything that you don’t feel satisfy with, you can call the interior designer…she will change it for you…”, Kris told her, now walking in high pride to climb up the stairs. So Eun rolled her eyes.

“I’m a very grateful and modest person…let’s not cause any trouble…this house is amazing the way it is…”, she commented back, waving her hands extravagantly around the area. Kris shook his head but he went on walking, leaving her in the living room. Then So Eun jumped up to her feet as she ran up to find her room. There were five bedrooms in total! Where should she sleep??? Then she frowned as she took out her phone to call for Kris up on the third floor.

“What???”, his arrogant voice filled her ear as So Eun clicked her tongue.

“Yah! Which one is my room??? There are five of them! And mind you, I’m alone here!”, she said to him as she heard he chuckled.

“Aish…what is so difficult actually??? Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday! Enough for the whole week, right???”, he told her but So Eun widened her eyes.

“You want me to be a nomad, moving in from one room to another for each day??? Ceh!!!”, she replied him but Kris sighed and shut the line. So Eun glared on her phone but she dropped her shoulders in despair. She seriously didn’t fit this wealthy life!

“Rock, paper, scissor!”, she counted as she pointed on each door of the rooms, choosing randomly for her bedroom. Finally she chose the one that situated closest to the main stairs. She entered the room and was once again shock seeing the fully furnished bedroom.

“Omo!Omo!”, she lost for the right word to say as she ran and threw her body on the twin bed. She giggled in happiness, rolling freely on it when suddenly her phone beeped again.

“Huh???”, she muttered and So Eun sat straight to check on the message.

-Get dress and meet me in the kitchen.

So Eun pouted upon reading the message but then she rubbed her hair in confusion.

“What does he mean by ‘get dress’? My clothes are still at my apartment!”, she blabbed alone but then So Eun got up to walk over to a tall closet when she fixed her eyes on it.

“Is it empty???”, she asked as her hands pulled it open widely but no, it wasn’t empty. So Eun was stuck to see the piles of clothes hung and arranged properly inside it. From formal, sporty, girly and casual types of clothes. She tried to touch it but then she bit her finger.

“Is it mine??? Can I try it on???”, she hesitated again but then she shook her head.

“Appa bought this house for me so of course it is all mine…yeah!”, she reminded herself and nodded. Then she grinned broadly as she grabbed one of the casual dresses.

Kris tapped his fingers on the dining table. He glanced around as he let go of a long sigh.

“What took her so long???”, he asked absentmindedly before he held up the glass in front of him. He sipped slowly on the grape wine but suddenly he almost chocked on his drink when he spotted So Eun walked in from the nearby door. She had changed into a mini knee-length dress that colored in soft pink and revealed her whole shoulders as it was the sleeveless one. She smiled up to him once she saw his blurry expression.

“I just go on trying out one…hope it doesn’t look so out of place…”, she commented and took a seat across from Kris. But he shook his head robotically and cleared his throat.

“No…not at all…”, he shortly replied, still refused to admit that his wife was a very beautiful lady. Then So Eun chuckled upon seeing the wine glass.

“Are we going to drink this???”, she raised her eyebrow to Kris as he shrugged.

“If you want…”, he answered and So Eun pouted at him. She started to reach for the glass and poured down the wine inside it.

“But don’t get drunk!”, Kris warned her as So Eun chuckled.

“I’m a good drinker…have no fear…”, she told him with proud and Kris laughed sarcastically. Then So Eun turned her head to the wall beside the table and she was amazed to see the big aquarium that pasted to be the wall and decoration of the dining room. That was why this room felt cold and dark blue –it was because of the magnificently decorated aquarium. So Eun smiled at the small fishes, swimming freely inside it.

“Aigoo…as expected from your dad…he is very creative…”, she praised him and Kris shook his head.

“What part of him that creative???”, he asked carelessly only to earn a disgust glare from So Eun.

“I know your rat brain won’t understand all this…you’re not artistic at all like appa…”, she commented back and Kris rolled his eyes.

“For God’s sake, they are just fishes!”, and So Eun smirked upon hearing him. Then Kris fell silent again when his mind wondered back to the man that they met at So Eun’s shop this evening. He sighed as he looked up to So Eun, now rolling the glass inside her hands playfully.

“Yah…”, he started.

“Hmmm???”

“Who…who is that man???”, he forced himself to ask at the same time controlling his face to look uninterested about it –even though he was dying to know about it inside. He felt a bit…jealous once he saw So Eun was sleeping on his shoulder. So Eun frowned at him and turned to glance around them, looking for any other person. She mistook that maybe Kris saw anybody else around the dining room. Kris chuckled again.

“There is nobody here except us! Now, tell me…who is he???”, he pressed on the matter while So Eun blinked confusedly.

“Who is who???”, she asked him dully back, making Kris to sigh at her.

“The man that accompanied you at the shop!”, he finally blurted out and So Eun nodded her head.

“Ah…that one…he…he is my best friend…”, So Eun hesitated to answer on the beginning but then she grinned at Kris. He raised his eyebrow suspiciously, feeling something fishy about it.

“Are you really only have that kind of relation with him???”, he wanted to investigate for more but So Eun rolled her eyes.

“Seriously…why would you wanna know??? I never ask about you and Sooyoung sshi so do mind your own business!”, So Eun exclaimed suddenly and they fell silent again when they thought about the incident occurred recently between Sooyoung and Kris. So Eun shrugged and took another sip on her wine. She hit down the glass back on the table before she glared toward Kris that was now eyed her questioningly.

“Hmmm…”, So Eun sighed. “I seriously…mad at you, Kris Wu…”

“Huh???”, Kris blinked his eyes in uncertainness. So Eun bit her lips as she drank another glass of wine at once.

“I know…I understand that you love her more than anything else…but fate make fool of us…we got married…you have to live apart from the girl that you love and I have to bear the pain of losing my own boyfriend…”, she muttered to him, waving her hands around in frustration. Kris gulped down his throat.

“Who is your boyfriend before this???”, he slowly asked. So Eun laughed as she finished another glass of her drink.

“Kim Bum…the man that you saw this evening…”, So Eun answered playfully, started to feel dizzy over the drink. Kris dropped his gazes on his own glass. He knew it they were something.

“If he broke up with you…then what did he do at your shop???”, he continued to ask again. So Eun rolled her eyes.

“Kim Bum is a very gentle person…even though he broke my heart but I can’t resist him away because…he is my first love…my true love…I seriously, damn in love with him…”, she confessed to him and Kris felt a sudden pain filled his heart once he knew the story. But he startled a bit when So Eun had started to cry.

“But…unfortunately…he left me…he broke up with me only through a single telephone call…saying that he is in love with another girl…then, here comes your mother…proposing me…to marry you…and I hope…I truly hope…to have a new better life with you…with a stranger like you, Kris Wu!”, she sobbed harder as she pointed straight to him. Kris blinked at the drunken So Eun but he himself lost for words right now. So Eun punched the table.

“Damn you! For giving this kind of hope to me! Our wedding turned out to be beautier than I ever imagined…but then…you kissed her! You kissed her in front of me! How dare you, Kris Wu! I’m your wife!”, she blurted out between her cries as she slapped her chest for a few times. Kris gulped down his throat as he stared sadly at her. Poor this girl, she looked like she was suffering a lot. A part of Kris wanted to console her but another half of him remained stiff as he kept on feeling guilty at the same time to Sooyoung. So Kris ended up leaned back on his chair as he watched helplessly toward So Eun that was still crying –tears poured down her cheeks like heavy rain.

“You know, Kris…you should at least respect me…I beg you…respect me as your wife…even though I’m the fake one…because…in front of everybody…in front of your kindhearted dad…in front of the public…I am your real wife…so if you want to keep your relation with Sooyoung sshi…do mind to keep it secret from me too…so that…I won’t be hurt…like this anymore…it is so freaky painful, you know???”, she told him again before she landed her head on the table and closed her eyes. Kris sighed heavily. He didn’t know what to do right now. Maybe she just confessed this when she was drunk but Kris felt his own heart ached too. Then he slowly got up from his seat to walk over toward So Eun. He peeked at her face between her hair but she had now fallen asleep. Kris shook his head for awhile seeing how vulnerable she was in this kind of state. But then he moved his hands to gently hold her body up. He carried her into her room and safely placed her down on the bed. Kris himself landed his next to her on the edge of the bed. He stared at her face, still wet from her tears just now so he grabbed a piece of tissue from the side table to wipe dry her cheeks. He stopped for awhile, staring closely at her face. His wife was indeed, very sweet and cute. Kris chuckled alone when he realized that he admitted that fact. Then he got up from her bed, covered her body with the blanket before he walked out from her room.

Suddenly his phone vibrated inside his pocket and Kris took it out. He unlocked the screen to see a message came from Sooyoung. He sighed and bit his lips before he touched on it to reveal the text.

-Where are you??? Can I meet you somewhere now??? I miss you so much and I’m worry for you about the news…is everything alright???

Kris hesitated for awhile but then he heard a voice inside his mind…

“You know, Kris…you should at least respect me…I beg you…respect me as your wife…”

Kris let go of a heavy sigh before he nodded his head and took a quick glance back to So Eun. He smiled to her that still deep in her sleep. He agreed with her. They will respect each other from now on so Kris closed the door behind him as he walked back to his own room. That night was the first time he ignored Sooyoung as he chose to keep his silence promise toward his wife, So Eun.

To be continued….

Chapter 56: Oh my god really long story..but i enjoyed it but my eyes and neck are tired hahah and maybe because it was 3 stories in one ;) they all have unique and different story but same start..haha bride instead of planner, really nice idea..hha but hmm I was more of always eager to read luhan and yoobi's part..not saying other two were boring but luhan and yoobi's story idea i find it extra interesting..hmm any plan to make luhan n yoobi fic like you did with kris and so eun..coincidently I really like so eun since bof days :) and go ara since who are you? days ..well and tho I haven't watched yoobi's drama..I found her cutely charming..haha I enjoyed all the story but if krid never married sooyoung, why didn't he went to look for soeun? But it was cruel you know so eun had to divorce him that way..if I was so eun I guess I will never forgive anyone esp who suggested that idea..hahhah but thanks I had wonderful time reading :D
