Chapter 6 - "This is when we build our Sweetest Hell..."

The Wedding Planners

THE WEDDING PLANNERS

“How about the bridal bouquet that I’ve ordered from you???”, Go Ara was talking to the telephone as her eyes fixed on the pamphlets situated on her desk. She flipped through it, looking for the best restaurant and hotel to deal regarding the menu. Then she frowned.

“Huh??? You need the supply from Japan?”, she continued when her officemate came in from the door nearby her desk. She walked over to her and tapped on her shoulder. Ara looked up to her and muttered the mute sound of ‘wait’ from . The girl nodded and walked over to her own table. She sat there when she saw Ara rolled her eyes.

“I don’t know about that…if you can’t get the flowers, maybe you should start planting it right now…em…in front of your florist, maybe…”, she said to the caller and at once shut off the line. She narrowed her eyes to the phone before her officemate laughed.

“Hahaha…our wedding planner look very busy…”, she commented as Ara shook her head.

“Yeah, maybe I’ll die due to the stress…”, she answered playfully and they laughed together. Then her friend clapped a hand on .

“Ah! I almost forgot it…someone is looking for you…”, she told Ara. Ara raised her head back toward her as she frowning again.

“What??? Who???”, she asked and the girl shrugged her shoulders.

“No idea…a middle aged woman, I think…go on, she’s waiting for you at the cafeteria…”, she added and Ara let go of a long sigh.

“Since when did I’ve become this popular???”, she mumbled but she nodded and dragged her feet downstairs to that place. Once she arrived in front of the cafeteria, she stopped walking. At the corner in the café, she can clearly see a woman, wearing the same formal blouse alongside with her modest knee-length skirt. Ara knew it at once that woman was Ms. Kyung. She gulped down before Ara squeezed her shoulders and walked robotically toward her.

“Hello, Ms. Kyung…”, she greeted her, blossoming a cute smile to her. Ms. Kyung looked up toward her and curved a smile too.

“Hello…here, take a seat…”, she welcomed Ara in equal friendly tone before Ara nodded and pulled a chair across from her. She sat straight.

“What brings you here???”, Ara started asking but Ms. Kyung held up her hand, a sign for Ara to wait. She watched in silence as that woman zipped of her bag and pulled out a middle sized box, colored in faded grey. Ara frowned toward her when Ms. Kyung pushed the box on the table before it stopped in front of Ara’s very eyes.

“What is this, Ms, Kyung???”, she asked her, looking up to that woman again. Ms. Kyung was smiling warmly toward her.

“Can I call you Ms. Go??? That’s the only information that I got about you from Lay…”, she said and Ara quickly nodded.

“Of course…”

“This box contains a very precious thing to both of Lay’s parents…”, Ms. Kyung started saying, making Ara to stare fixed on her face. But she stayed silence, listened closely to her.

“His parents were my best friends for long ago…but they died so early, making me to feel the responsible to look after Lay…”, she explained as Ara leaned on the chair, crossing her arms in front of her body together.

“So???”, she asked shortly.

“They gave me this…trusting Lay to me if there is anything happen to them and they have to leave him alone…eventually, they did…so that’s why I keep this thing close with me, always…”, she added as her finger pointed to the box. Ara shifted her eyes down to it before she darted it back to Ms. Kyung.

“Then…is it has anything to do with me???”, she asked her, feeling slightly confused over the story. Ms. Kyung chuckled but she smiled and nodded.

“Because you’re the very person that I’ve been looking for after all this time…a rightful person to eternally keep this thing…”, she said again and patted the box. Ara sighed, unable to resist the curiosity in her so she grabbed the box and pulled it open. At once her sight was filled with a pair of silver necklaces, shimmering bright under the florescent lamp. Ara opened , trying to say something but then she realized her brain was stuck for any word so she gazed up again toward Ms. Kyung.

“This is…”

“The symbol of his parents pure love toward each other…it was a gift for their 15 years wedding anniversary…they kept it safe so that one day, they could give it to their only son for his own marriage…”, Ara found herself once again touched by the story. Slowly, she brushed her fingertips on the necklaces, down to its lockets. It shaped in heart, the bigger one for the husband and the smaller one was for the wife. Then she gulped down slowly as she looked up toward Ms. Kyung.

“Why do you give this to me???”, she felt herself really dumb to be asking that kind of question. Of course she would give it to her. She will become Lay’s official wife in a few weeks more. Ms. Kyung pouted but she laughed funnily.

“Because…at last, Lay found his true love…frankly speaking, I’m a bit worry when his grandpa asked me to marry him…of course I never have any special feeling for him…it’s just sympathy and responsibility as his parents’ old friend…but I finally feel relieve when he came to me and said that he want to marry you instead…now I know who is the right princess in his heart…”, Ms. Kyung explained beautifully to her but Ara felt her heart shattered over all the lie that they created behind it. She never marries him because of love. She marries him because of each other’s benefit. Lay wanted her to save him from this woman while she desperately needed a customer to stay with her job so that was the only deal that connected them to this marriage. Nothing more than that. Nevertheless, Ara felt sincerely sorry toward Ms. Kyung and Lay. She can’t be true to them as her marriage was only a business. Then she stared down to the necklaces. She wasn’t his true love. She didn’t deserve it to keep this thing with her.

“So promise me, Ms. Go…that you will always be loyal to Lay…cherish him and love him with all of your heart…because these necklaces, is the symbol of his parents’ eternal love so when Lay found his own bride right now…both of you should appreciate this gift together…”, Ara heard Ms. Kyung explained to her again. Slowly she looked up to her and smiled.

“I will, Ms Kyung…”, without knowing their future, Ara promised her the empty words that came deep from her heart. Maybe, just maybe…she could try to be the best for him. Then she saw Ms. Kyung nodded again to her with a warm smile on her face. She got up from her seat and held out her hand toward Ara. Ara herself stood up from her chair.

“Congratulation for your wedding…I wish you a happy marriage…”, she wished her and Ara grinned broadly. Then she took her hand and gripped it tightly.

“Hopefully…em, thanks…haha…”, she hesitated to answer her but then they had been acting until this far so Ara knew that she needed to go on with the flow. Ms. Kyung let go of their entwined hands and bowed down to Ara before she left the cafeteria. Ara sighed in relief once she was gone from her sight. She felt her knees gave up her weight so Ara sank back to the chair. She slammed her head on the table as her fingers playfully twisted the necklaces.

“Aish…”, she mumbled in confusion before she sat straight again and pulled out her phone from her pocket. She dialed on it before she placed the phone on her ears.

“Hello…”, the friendly voice of Lay met her ear as Ara chuckled.

“Hey, it’s me…”, Ara greeted him again.

“Oh, Ara sshi…what is it???”, he asked her and Ara bit her lips. She fixed her stares on the box.

“Em…can we meet this night anywhere??? I’ve something to tell you…”, Lay blinked his eyes for awhile but then he pouted.

“Fine…meet me at…”

“Aigoo…hmmm…”, Kim So Eun was sighing loudly as she slapped a paper sized in A4 straight on her face. Then she inhaled deeply before she held the paper high in front of her.

“As I stand here before you…my heart beating so loudly in my ears…I find myself so lost for the right words to say…em…em…because…of what???Aish!!!”, she muttered out the vow in high formality but her tongue stuck again in memorizing the true line of it. So Eun got up from her seat and walked slowly nearing the big pool in front of her. She put her left hand behind her body as her right hand still swinging up the paper. Then she continued to read and memorize the vow.

“As I stand here before you…my heart beating so loudly in my ears…”, So Eun was now touching her chest in a dramatic gesture before she moved her hand on her ear. “I find myself so lost for the right words to say…because…”, then she dropped her shoulders in despair. She chuckled, “Hmmm…it’s clear enough, right??? I find myself so lost for the right words to say because of how jerk you are, Kris Wu!!!”, she finished the sentence in fast mode, twisting it with the fact that she buried inside her brain regarding her groom. The maids around her covered their mouths with their hands, hiding back their laughter upon hearing her comment about their young master. This was the very first time they ever heard someone bravely condemned Kris. So Eun chuckled toward them but she threw the vow paper and it was blown by the wind around them to the edge of the pool. Quickly, a maid ran and picked the paper, preventing it from fall into the water. So Eun ignored her as she walked back to a table and sat around it. She smiled up to a maid that stood next to it. The maid bowed politely before she poured down a cup of hot tea for So Eun. Then she handed the cup to her.

“Oh, thanks!”, So Eun said cheerfully as she sipped on the drink.

“Ahhhh…as expected from something pricy…the taste is marvelous!”, she praised as she made a thumb up toward the maid just now. She smiled sheepishly to So Eun and the girl turned her head around, eyeing her surroundings. Then she spotted a tall vase situated at the corner of the pool. So Eun bit her lips naughtily as she got up from her seat and slowly walking to approach the vase. Once she stood in front of it, she stared at the vase with such admiring face.

“Wow…look at this thing…it’s so beautiful…”, she started to praise it but a maid cleared .

“Ms. Kim…you should continue memorize your vow…the wedding is tomorrow morning…”, she reminded her but So Eun waved her hand carelessly toward the maid, asking her to stay silence.

“Never mind…I’ll bring along the paper tomorrow…I’m sure that Kris won’t memorize it too…well, he has a brain of a mice, right???”, So Eun replied playfully to the maid and the others around them broke into small laughter. She stood there, eyeing the vase closely as she her fingers on it. She marveled it, the flowers and leaves pattern carved on top of the vase as the combination of light pink and green really attracting everyone that saw it.

“Look at this sculpture…the design and patterns on it…the carving is very fine too…perfect! How much is this???”, she kept on praising it before she tried to hold it up inside her hands.

“It worth for about 500 000 won…”, someone answered her from behind and it startled So Eun to hear the price so she nearly let it slip down to the floor but So Eun was fast enough to catch it and locked it inside her arms. She widened her eyes as she sighed in relief.

“Huuhhhh…oh my…that’s very dangerous…”, she said and carefully placed the vase back on its original position. Then she grinned and turned back but her smile was swept away at once when she saw the person that stood behind her.

“Welcome back, master!!!”, the maids greeted a man, dressed in formal black coat as they bowed in union toward him. So Eun herself froze on her feet. She didn’t know what to do whether to greet him or to move away. So she ended up stood there, hiding her hands behind her back as she grinned sheepishly toward that man. He chuckled upon seeing her uncertain face.

“You like this vase???”, he asked as he walked past her and stood closer to the vase.

“Em…yeah…it’s pretty…”, So Eun replied in low voice as she hesitated to turn her body toward that man. But she heard him laughed as he touched the vase.

“It’s good to know that somebody finally agreed with me that this little thing is magnificent…I bought it from France long ago but no one ever praise it…because everybody in my family thought that it is just an ordinary decoration stuff…”, he explained as So Eun curved a small smile to him. Then the man glanced sideway to her.

“I heard that you’re a wedding planner…is it true???”, he asked and So Eun immediately nodded to him.

“Yes, I am…”, she confessed proudly. The man laughed but he nodded his head.

“Yeah…usually only a designer like you can truly understand the meaning of beautiful in this kind of thing…because the artistic soul is in your heart…”, the man added again and So Eun grinned broadly to him.

“Thank you…”, she said shortly before the man came to stand in front of her.

“I’m sorry that I didn’t properly welcome you to my family…but I’m quite busy for this whole month so I barely stay in Korea…today I just got back from Egypt, handling some business there…but I’m so happy to see my daughter in law here…you’re prettier in person…”, he praised her sincerely as he lit up a proud smile to her. So Eun laughed shyly but she raised an eyebrow questioningly to him.

“Pardon me…but are you Kris’s father???”, she asked and the man laughed out loud. They had been conversing with each other for about fifteen minutes and only now So Eun asked him whether he was the father to Kris. He shook his head, still smiling.

“Yes, honey…I’m his father…Wu Yi Xang…welcome to a Chinese family…”, he told her as he spread his hands in extravagated way and So Eun nodded with friendly smile.

“Nice meeting you, Mr. Wu…sorry that I didn’t properly welcome you back just now…it must be tiring to travel and working alone…welcome back to Korea again!”, she giggled happily and bowed down to him. Mr. Wu laughed again before he walked nearing her and patted her on shoulder.

“Please, just call me daddy…or dad…or father…because we will officially be a family tomorrow…”, he said to her and So Eun bowed obediently again.

“Of course…dad…”, she tried to call him like that but it turned out to sound weird and they burst out laughing together. Mr. Wu nodded his head.

“It’s okay…take your time…and I guess I better be going for now…I need to have some rest before the wedding tomorrow…”, he replied again and So Eun made a thumb up to him.

“Sure…please…”, she said playfully and waved her hand to give a way for Mr. Wu to take his steps. The man chuckled but he started walking before he stopped halfway to turn back facing So Eun. The girl stared absentmindedly to him.

“Before that…I forgot something…here…”, he muttered and grabbed inside his coat to take out a small silver key. Mr. Wu handed it toward So Eun as she took it in hesitation. So Eun looked up again to him. Mr. Wu smiled, shifting his gazes from the key to So Eun.

“A gift from me as your wedding present…hopefully you will build a happy family with Kris inside that house…”, he said but So Eun had now widened her eyes in disbelief.

“You…you…just give me a house???!! No, no, no…please, dad…I can’t accept this…”, she refused as she pushed the key back to Mr. Wu but he grabbed her hand and balled up her palm inside his hands.

“Please…I want a happy life for my son…and he chose to share it with you…so I know, even though Kris is a stubborn boy since he was a kid but…believe me that he has his good side too…he is someone that really kind actually…it just that, he become someone that arrogant because of his lifestyle…he is a prince inside this house…no one ever disobey him so…he’s a bit bad-tempered but don’t worry…I’m sure he will love you wholeheartedly as his wife…”, So Eun bit her lips upon hearing his meaningful advices. She knew that Kris wasn’t so bad but he sometime could be really mean toward her. But after meeting this gentle father of him…So Eun thought maybe, she could be patient to stay beside him as his wife. Mr. Wu smiled again to her before he let go of her hand and walked away. So Eun immediately bowed to him, followed by the other maids. Then she held up the key in front of her eyes as she smiled.

“I got my own house??? Hmmm…how big it would be???”, she asked to herself before So Eun pouted and glanced a bit to her wrist watch. Then she gasped.

“OMG! I need to see Aunt Jung! I promised to see her at the shop!”, she blabbered alone as So Eun ran to the table and grabbed away her handbag. The maids eyed her questioningly before So Eun started to leave the pool area.

“Wait, Ms. Kim! You hasn’t finish memorizing this vow!”, the maid@ her personal assistant for the wedding yelled to her but So Eun waved as she picked up her paces to walk faster.

“Later!”, and she zoomed away.

Luhan and Yoo Na were laughing between them over the wedding cake that they choose to be designed. Meanwhile, Lee Yoo Bi was frowned to herself as she checked out the preparation list inside her notebook. Then she closed it back before she crossed her arms, eyeing the lovely couple with wide eyes.

“Hey, you!”, she called out to them. Luhan and Yoo Na turned their heads in union.

“Yes???”, Yoo Na asked her sister as Yoo Bi chuckled.

“Make sure to pick the right flavor and decoration for the cake…I don’t wish for any mistake…remember the wedding is in the garden so don’t pick something too frizzy for it…”, Yoo Bi explained to them in her most formal-wedding planner-tone as Luhan pouted to her.

“Got it, captain!”, he said to her and they laughed. Then Yoo Bi slung her bag around her shoulder.

“I’m going to find the bridal bouquet…I’ll see you at the café later…”, she reminded the two again as they nodded shortly. Then Yoo Bi left them inside the bakery as she made her way to the second floor, searching for any florist shop. Once she spotted it, she walked in with a smile.

“Welcome!”, a girl welcomed her and they bowed to each other.

“Hi…I’m looking for flowers that suit to create a beautiful bridal bouquet…”, Yoo Bi voiced out her requirement as the salesgirl nodded.

“Then you need something fresh and soft-colored, maybe…here are my suggestion…”, she told her and motioned Yoo Bi to follow her, walking outside the shop. There were bunch of multi-types of flowers planted inside the giant pout. Yoo Bi and the salesgirl started to browse over all of them to find a perfect combination to be the bridal bouquet.

“Hmmm…maybe this crystal rhinestones suit well for the bouquet…because its color and size match the lace on the bride’s dress…”, Yoo Bi gave out her opinion as she smelled on the white bubbling flowers. Then the salesgirl nodded to her with a warm smile.

“Yeah…and I guess it suit the cuteness of your appearance with your husband…”, she commented suddenly as Yoo Bi frowned to her. She tried to ask about it but the salesgirl already bowed her head toward a person from behind Yoo Bi. So she instantly turned to that person. Once she saw it, she rolled her eyes.

“He’s not my husband and I’m not the bride anyway…I’m just a wedding planner to my sister…”, she explained again and the salesgirl clapped a hand on .

“I’m so sorry about it…I don’t know…”, she said and Yoo Bi handed back the flower with a smile.

“I may not be her husband now but I will later…”, the person that stood behind her just now was talking as he slung a hand around her shoulders. Yoo Bi smiled bitterly toward the salesgirl. As thought she understands the awkward situation so the salesgirl smiled sheepishly and bowed before she left Yoo Bi with that boy.

“Stop it, Sehun ah…what are you doing here??? Are you following me???”, Yoo Bi said once the salesgirl gone back into her shop. She removed Sehun’s hand from her shoulders. Sehun chuckled to her.

“Don’t do this to me, Yoo Bi ah…I can’t stand it to be away from you…”, he answered her but Yoo Bi shook her head.

“Seriously, Sehun ah…what do you actually want from me???”, Yoo Bi asked impatiently as she put her hands on her hips, eyes fixed on him. Then Sehun sighed before he fixed his cap but he also crossed his arms to stare sternly toward her.

“I want an answer…”, Yoo Bi rolled her eyes.

“What kind of answer do you expect from me???”, she replied carelessly and turned to walk away but Sehun had already snatched her hand and dragged her to a corner among the shops inside the mall. Yoo Bi yelled as she tried to free her hand from his grip.

“Yah! What are you doing??? Let me go!”, she protested but Sehun insisted to take her away. Meanwhile she was struggling; a pair of eyes saw them a few meters from their standing place.

“Yoo…Yoo Bi ah!”, Luhan called out loudly to her as he pushed his body among the races of people to get to her immediately. He was about to look for her but Luhan became worried once he saw her being dragged forcefully by a tall boy.

“Let me go!!!”, Yoo Bi begged but she yelled in pain when Sehun had already pasted her body on the wall. He locked her as he wrapped his arms on both side of her body and he stared fiercely into her eyes. Yoo Bi gritted her teeth to him.

“What do you want??!!”, she forced him and pushed his chest away but he didn’t even budge away.

“I want you…I want you to be mine…why is it so hard to agree with me, Yoo Bi ah???”, he said in psycho tone as Yoo Bi bit her lips, preventing her anger from explode out.

“I…”, she tried to give him a reply but a hand had already touched Sehun on his shoulder, making both of them to glance back to that person. Luhan stared sternly to Sehun before he grabbed away Yoo Bi by her hand and pushed her to stand behind him. Yoo Bi gripped tight on his wrist as she hid her face behind his shoulders. Sehun felt his heart burning in pain as he eyed the two so called brother-sister. They looked really good together.

“What are you trying to do with my sister???”, Luhan asked firmly as Sehun shifted his eyes from Yoo Bi to Luhan.

“It is none of your business…”, he answered him shortly and reached out toward Yoo Bi again but spontaneously, Luhan smacked away his hand.

“Don’t ever think touch her again…”, Luhan warned him as he held tighter on Yoo Bi’s hand. Sehun chuckled at them.

“So, tell me Lee Yoo Bi…how long will you stay hiding behind this brother of yours??? How long will he pamper you??? Or you don’t accept my feeling because you love him more than any other man in this world??? Do you???”, Sehun shot her with ridiculous questions as Luhan started to lose his patience toward this boy so he let go of Yoo Bi to grab his collar instead but quickly Yoo Bi stopped him as she hugged Luhan around his waist from behind.

“No, oppa! Don’t!”, she raised her voice before Luhan cursed under his breath. When Yoo Bi felt her oppa had relaxed a bit inside her arms, then only she let him go. Yoo Bi stared at Sehun with stiff eyes before she walked in front of Luhan to stand eyes to eyes with Sehun.

“I like you, Oh Sehun…I do…that’s why when you confessed to me the other day, I can’t give a word to it…I was so nervous that I didn’t know what to do so I ran away from you…but you can ask Luhan oppa…I felt so down that I didn’t say yes to you so when I got home, I ignored everybody! It is because I realize how much I love you and it hurts me that I can’t be true with my feeling…”, Yoo Bi explained to him as she felt warm tears filled the corner of her eyes. Sehun was staring intensely toward her before he shook his head.

“Yoo Bi ah…I’m sorry…”, he apologized as he tried to touch her hand but Yoo Bi shoved him away.

“But now I know that I can’t like you anymore…looking at how stubborn you’re…I hate that kind of man…”, Yoo Bi added again that it silent both Luhan and Sehun. Then Yoo Bi hastily wiped away the tears that managed to escape from her eyes.

“Come, oppa…let’s go…”, she muttered to Luhan and walked away at once. Luhan followed her behind, leaving Sehun to stand motionless in regret there.

“Hey, babe…are you okay???”, Luhan asked his little sister once they reached the food court area. Yoo Bi sniffed cutely, holding back her tears before she looked up to Luhan.

“I’m perfectly fine…I just feel a bit shock…”, she assured him as she forced a small smile. Luhan nodded and sighed.

“Alright, then…let’s go and eat…I’ll treat you an ice cream!”, Luhan said cheerfully back as he winked and patted Yoo Bi on her head. She laughed.

“Eh??? I’m not a kid! I don’t need ice cream to console me…”, she replied as she pouted and they laughed again. But then Yoo Bi moved her head around.

“Oppa, where is unnie???”, she asked him suddenly and Luhan grinned.

“Don’t worry…she gone to toilet just now…let’s order the food first!”, Luhan told her as he pulled Yoo Bi by her neck to drag her to the counter but she pushed his hand away.

“Oppa, let me go! I’m going to find unnie for awhile…”, she insisted and Luhan chuckled but then Yoo Bi left him to go to the ladies. She skipped happily on her way before she slowed down her paces once she saw her sister was talking to a man outside the ladies. She was leaning on the wall behind her as that man was hovering over her very closely. Yoo Bi walked closer to listen to their conversation.

“Please, Kim Bum ah…I’m begging you…give me more time so that I can fix all this…I can’t simply leave my family like that…”, Yoo Bi frowned alone when she pasted her ear on the wall beside them, listening properly to the conversation. But she was confused when she heard her sister talked about leaving their family. To where and for what??? Who was this man??? Yoo Bi asked inside her brain as she tried to peek at her sister. She was massaging her forehead as that man crossed his arms in front of his body.

“Then what do you plan to do in order to escape from all of it???”, he asked. Yoo Na sighed heavily.

“I’m planning to have…”, she started to explain but when she turned her head to the right, she spotted her younger sister, tilting her head out from behind the wall. Yoo Bi smiled sheepishly once she saw Yoo Na and that man were frowning to her.

“Hehe…hi, I’m Yoo Bi…her little sister…”, Yoo Bi suddenly jumped out to an introduction as she walked out from behind the wall and moved to meet the man. Kim Bum forced an anxious smile but he bowed to her.

“Hi, I’m…Kim Bum…your sister…”, he stopped before he raised his eyebrow questioningly toward Yoo Na. Then Yoo Bi gazed up to her sister as she laughed plastically.

“My officemate…”, she answered at once, hiding the truth as Yoo Bi nodded her head.

“I see…nice meeting you…”, Yoo Bi replied again and bowed her own head politely. Kim Bum was smiling to her but Yoo Na quickly grabbed her sister by her arm.

“We must leave…see you later, Kim Bum ah…”, Yoo Na hastily said and bowed down before she dragged Yoo Bi away. Kim Bum sighed as he watched the two girls from behind before he shook his head and left. Yoo Bi was walking side by side with Yoo Na to the food court where Luhan was still waiting for them. But then Yoo Bi bit her lips when she stared at her sister’s gloomy face.

“Unnie, are you okay???”, she asked her and Yoo Na forced a smile to her.

“I am…”, she answered shortly as she walked further, leaving Yoo Bi to frown by herself. Then she remembered something that she was once accidently found on Yoo Na’s bedside table; the flight ticket and passport. Yoo Bi grasped as she ran faster to catch up with Yoo Na.

“Unnie, tell me the truth! Are you leaving our family???”, she asked her sister, half yelling as Yoo Na stood froze on her legs. Slowly, she turned to face her younger sister, feeling the guilty conquering her whole heart.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

“AAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!”, they screamed together as So Eun hastily got up from his body.

“You kissed me!!!”, Kris accused her as he pointed a finger toward her.

“No, I’m not! I just meant to fall on you! No one ever dream to kiss a pig!!!”

“A pig???? You.are.so.dead, Kim So Eun!”

“AAAHHHHHH!!!”

“Huh…”, So Eun was sighing to herself as she remembered the incident where she accidently kissed Kris inside his bathroom. Kris was still mad to her that he never talks to her since that day. Until their official wedding day tomorrow, So Eun didn’t know what will happen if he continues to be cold toward her. Then she bit her lips as she frowned angrily.

“Don’t count it as a kiss then! Just take it as something easy…ceh! He is soooo childish!”, So Eun scolded him alone as her fingers busied twisting the curtain in front of her. Suddenly, Aunt Jung came to put down a big pinky box on the table. So Eun blinked her eyes to the box before she gazed up to her.

“What is this, aunty???”, she asked her and Aunt Jung shrugged her shoulders.

“I don’t know…it delivered here for you since yesterday…but you didn’t come to shop so I just keep it for you right now…maybe another wedding present…”, that woman guessed before So Eun nodded. She held the box, tied up beautifully with white fluffy ribbon around it. Then So Eun smiled to herself.

“It is so cute…my wedding gift, huh???”, she mumbled again and pulled up her sleeves to check out its contain but then she stopped halfway when she thought about tomorrow. Tomorrow, Kris and she will officially be a newlywed, a couple, a pair or any other term to suit the two of them. Were they allowed to kiss…again??? So Eun thought silently as she slowly touched her lips. She could still felt the softness of his lips on hers. Then So Eun immediately gathered her senses. She punched her chest lightly as she cursed under her breath.

“Don’t think too much, Kim So Eun!!! Aigoo!!!”, she scolded herself as she slapped a hand on her forehead before she moved to untied the ribbon on the box. She whistled in complete ease once she removed the cap of the box and reached her hand inside to grab the present but instead, she was frowning when she found nothing in it. So Eun tilted her head into the box and was aware that it was totally empty.

“Huh??? What a joke???”, she asked as she rubbed her hair confusedly. But when she darted her eyes back around the box, she caught sight of a piece of paper, pasted on the wall of the box. She held out her hand and pulled the paper out from the box.

“What is this???”, she asked dully and twisted it from the front to the back when she suddenly saw a scanned picture of a little baby, real baby.

“Hahahahahahaha! Aigoo…who exactly sent this to me??? I’m not planning to have a baby with him!”, So Eun laughed out at the ridiculous joke came from the gift but then, at the very same time; her laughter was interrupted by a rang on the bell of her shop. So Eun stopped laughing and looked up straight to the door. Her smile froze on her face as a girl walked inside.

“Hello, Ms. Kim…”, she said as she curved a sarcastic smile toward her. So Eun gulped down . It was Sooyoung. When she realized that So Eun had lost for words and stayed still there, she moved to come closer to her. Sooyoung smiled when she saw So Eun had opened that ‘special’ present from her. Without waiting So Eun to invite her, she went to sit down across from So Eun. So Eun blinked her eyes for awhile before she gazed straight to Sooyoung.

“Hello, Sooyoung sshi…”, she finally greeted her back with low voice. Quickly, she grabbed the box to remove it from the table but Sooyoung stopped her halfway.

“You like my present for your wedding???”, she asked her in wicked tone as So Eun stared down to the baby’s picture. Then she slowly looked up to her.

“What do you mean by this???”, So Eun asked confusedly and she pushed the picture toward Sooyoung. That girl chuckled as she rolled her eyes in disgust.

“Don’t misunderstand to what I really mean…I’m not encouraging you to have a baby with Kris…”, Sooyoung told her truthfully. So Eun bit her lips but she shook her head.

“I’m not intended too…”, she replied and Sooyoung nodded her head. She laughed shortly.

“Actually…I just come here to tell you something…that picture is actually my baby…he has been staying inside me for about a month…”, Sooyoung explained carelessly before she patted her belly with a smile. So Eun felt her jaw dropped open once she heard it.

“You’re…pregnant???”, she asked in disbelief as Sooyoung pouted seductively toward her.

“Oh, Ms. Kim…don’t make me say it out loud…it will be too embarrassing since this baby will lose his father…tomorrow…”, Sooyoung said sarcastically and it stuck So Eun. She felt her heart was silently being sliced by a tiny but sharpest knife. The pain blocked her freedom to breathe easily. So Eun gulped down , trying to arrange her words to say to Sooyoung. But Sooyoung was now smiling evilly once she saw the disappointment and pale look on So Eun’s face.

“Do you remember about our small talk??? I told you that I was so hurt when my boyfriend left me…yeah, he left me because he didn’t want this baby…he want to throw away his own seed…I just want to warn you, Ms. Kim…Kris is really a cruel person…he’s a golden porcelain on the outside…but on the inside…he’s the hardest stone that you would never wish to be with…”, Sooyoung tried to scare So Eun with her words. She lied to her about the baby. She lied to her about Kris. Her only intention was to get Kris back on her side so she knew; the easiest way was to make So Eun hating Kris. The more she hates him, the more benefit Sooyoung get! So Eun stared emptily on the baby’s photo. She was confused over this entire thing but strange feeling told her inside her heart that Kris wasn’t that kind of person. She wanted to believe in him. She knew that Kris also could be someone kind if he want. The clearest example was when he treated her family nicely even though he never truly knows them. Then So Eun remembered the words told by Mr. Wu. That old man told her to be patient with Kris because he believes that Kris owned some good qualities too in him. So, she didn’t want to believe in whatever rubbish that Sooyoung just told her. So Eun chose to trust her…future husband, Kris. She thought determinedly before she gazed up to Sooyoung. She smiled and got up from her seat.

“Can I…touch it???”, she suddenly asked as So Eun walked over to stand in front of Sooyoung. Sooyoung chuckled but she nodded lazily. Then So Eun kneeled down to the floor and her stomach gently. She smiled to the invisible little baby inside Sooyoung’s belly.

“Please…grow up to be a healthy person…”, she reminded the baby as Sooyoung stared grudgingly toward So Eun. She felt her hand became light enough to slap her fake-innocent face.

“You don’t have to pretend to be an angel, !”, Sooyoung cursed inside her heart before she pushed So Eun’s hand away and got up.

“You don’t seem to understand this, I think…I’m not coming here to ask you to be a good adopted mother for this baby!”, Sooyoung started to raise her voice as she crossed her arms together, biting her lips as she felt the anger toward So Eun was burning up again. So Eun stared emptily behind her before she stood up too and sighed slowly.

“I know that Kris and I only marrying each other for benefit…his mom want him to escape from his responsibility toward you while I need to find a way to stay with my business, running this shop…So I hope you understand that we have nothing more than pretending…pretending to be a husband and wife…pretending because everything is too late to be undone…my wedding is tomorrow and I can’t stop it from happen…”, So Eun explained patiently to her, trying to make Sooyoung understand her true situation. Sooyoung chuckled before she turned back her body to So Eun.

“Then let me make myself clear enough for you…”, Sooyoung said as she came to stand eyes to eyes with So Eun. She eyed So Eun with total hatred while So Eun was staring to her with uncertain look.

“I want him back…I want Kris to stay by my side…so no matter what you’re going through with him, wedding…marriage…or whatever it is…always etch inside your mind that HE IS MINE…if you try to take him away from me…if you really think that you’re his real wife…if you have any attempt to treat him as your real husband…then I’ll make sure that you have no space to run from me on this Earth…mark my words, Kim So Eun…because only idiot screw up with me…”, she warned her in devilish tone before she came to lean closer to So Eun’s ear. So Eun found she froze as she listened to her.

“Careful now…”, Sooyoung creepily whispered into her ear before she distanced their bodies and stared again to So Eun. So Eun was frowning toward her before Sooyoung winked mischievously and walked out from the shop.

“So Eun ah…who is that girl just now??? A customer???”, So Eun heard Aunt Jung asked her once she got out from the back room but So Eun was now slowly kneeling down to the floor. Aunt Jung ran hastily to her side.

“So Eun ah! What’s wrong with you???”, she asked, concernedly patting her back. So Eun stayed silence. She felt her heart broken with the mixed feeling of guilty, sorrow and disappointment toward both of Kris and Sooyoung. She sighed heavily as she asked inside her mind.

“Why do I have to stuck between them???”

“Oh, you’re here…”, Lay greeted Ara when he caught sight of her, sitting around a small table at the corner of the café. Ara made a peace sign toward him.

“Yeah…I just arrived…so this is your working place…what are you??? Waiter or cleaner???”, she asked teasingly to him as Lay rolled his eyes.

“It’s up to you on what you wanna take…because I work wholeheartedly for this place…”, he said with a grin and sat down in front of her. “So what do you want to talk about???”

“Em…”, Ara bit her lips before she grumbled her hand inside her bag to take out the box given by Ms. Kyung this morning. She placed it down on the table.

“You know anything about this???”, she asked, frowning as Lay blinked at the box and back again to Ara.

“No…never see it…why???”, he asked confusedly back and picked up the box to open it. Once he saw the couple necklaces, he laughed in amusement.

“What??? Do you want a couple thing for us???”, he said playfully but he was silent once he saw the stern look on Ara’s face. Lay chuckled.

“What is it actually??? Don’t be so serious…it scared me to see an active kangaroo like you suddenly down in dumb…”, he tried to light up the mood but Ara shook her head.

“It was given by Ms. Kyung to me as our wedding gift…but the necklaces originally owned by your parents…”, once Lay heard Ara said that to him, he frowned. He tried to open his mouth, asking her but then he shut it back. He lost for words when she touched the talk about his parents.

“I know that you feel shock about this…but as your parents’ best friend, Ms. Kyung used to keep it with her…so that one day, when you find a right girl for you…you can give it to her…but the thing is, I’m not that person…so, yeah…you better keep it with you until the day you find her…”, Ara explained again and she gulped down the coke that she ordered just now. Lay finally nodded, still didn’t respond anything to Ara. Instead he opened back the box and stared at the necklaces. He smiled at the thought that his parents actually left behind something for him. Something to be remembered and treasured. Then he closed the box and looked toward Ara.

“Thanks!”, Lay thanked her as he winked. Ara rolled her eyes.

“Doesn’t matter but treat me with something special from this café…this is my first time to come here…”, she said again, back with her cheerful tone. Lay laughed but he nodded and got up to enter the kitchen. Ara leaned on the chair as she stretched lazily. Then her eyes widened as she caught sight of someone walking into this café. Once that person entered, everyone around this café turned to look at her. A young lady, wearing an elegant sleeveless mini dress with a low cut jeans that wrapped tightly around her slender legs. She has a pair of sunglasses covered her eyes as she walked over to the counter. Ara narrowed her eyes suspiciously toward this diva. Her high-class fashion looked really out of place for a casual diner like here. Then Ara rubbed her hair as she thought deeply.

“Hmmm…she looks familiar…”, Ara commented again and everyone started to gasp in surprise when that lady took off her glasses. She smiled stunningly toward the cashier. That boy blinked in amazement.

“Hello…may I know if there’s any performance tonight??? Because I heard this Romantic Diner has a talented band that perform regularly here…I’m wondering if I can see their show…”, she asked him and grinned sweetly again as she turned her head around to look at the stage. Ara clapped her hand on . She knew this girl! She was a famous idol and talent scout that used to help in raising a new popular star. The cashier hesitated for awhile, lost for the right words to reply her because she was so pretty and elegant to be stared at.

“Em…um…wait! Take your seat first…”, he welcomed her and opened his hand widely toward an empty table nearby them. She smiled and briefly nodded to him. Then she arranged her steps to sit there as the cashier ran hastily toward the kitchen. Ara was now got up from her seat and tiptoeing toward the girl.

“Em…let me guess…Ms. Tiffany, right???”, Ara pointed a finger as she giggled excitedly. That girl gazed up to her and grinned. She nodded.

“Yes, I am…”, Tiffany was about to greet her formally but Ara had jumped childishly on her feet, making Tiffany to blink and glanced around to the other customers.

“Ah!!! I can’t believe that I can finally meet Tiffany!!! Ah!!! You’re soooo pretty!!!”, Ara cheered loudly as she hovered around Tiffany and shook her hand aggressively. Tiffany stared confusedly to her but she nodded her head and laughed along.

“Hahahahaha…nice meeting you too…”, then everyone started to come around the table, seeking for her autograph and taking picture together. Tiffany treated her fans nicely meanwhile at the back of the kitchen, the cashier just now was still running around to find the performer.

“Anyone??? Anyone??? Yah!!! Where the hell are all the boys???”, he yelled as he kept on pushing the workers around the kitchen. Then here came his manager, standing still as he kept his hands firmly on his hips.

“Yah! What do you think you’re doing here??? I’m asking you to care for the counter not making this kitchen as your playground!”, he scolded him but the cashier shrugged and pointed out toward the exit door to the diner.

“A talent scout is here! She is Tiffany Hwang!!! Mind you, Tiffany Hwang!!! The ice princess!!! So we need to ask the band to perform something for her…maybe she will take them to be a recording artist so we can’t make her to wait! Hurry up!!!”, he urged his manager as he felt his jaw dropped down in disbelief.

“Is it true??? That beautiful Tiffany is here??? Oh my! What should I do??? Yah, chef! Prepare sometime delicious! Quick!”, the manager himself started to rush everybody when finally the cashier spotted Lay, just coming out from the back of the kitchen counter as he held a plate of chicken chop on his hand. He was whistling alone, completely didn’t aware of anything that happened outside. The cashier ran toward him.

“LAY!!!! You’re the savior!!! Come on, sing a song!!!”, he yelled to him as he came to stand in front of him and put both of his hands on Lay’s shoulders. Lay shrugged but he shook his head.

“Sorry…but it’s not my turn to perform tonight…ask anyone else…”, he simply refused and walked away but the cashier blocked him again, making Lay to frown at him.

“Please, please, please! I beg you!!! Someone important is waiting for your performance outside!!! Please!!!!”, he begged again as he crossed his arms, praying toward him and closed his eyes. Lay chuckled as he walked past him again.

“I can’t…my friend is here tonight…I need to stay with her…”, Lay told him again but as the cashier opened his eyes, he was startled to see Lay had gone so he hastily turned back and caught him up.

“Aigoo…Yixing ah…please!!! At least, sing a single song…Chinese song maybe or whatever! Just sing!”, he begged again and at last, Lay sighed heavily as he turned around. He narrowed his eyes on the cashier.

“If my friend get mad at me, you have to be responsible to treat her with 5 cups of multi-flavored ice creams…deal???”, Lay requested to him as the cashier rubbed his forehead confusedly. But then he pouted and nodded.

“Deal!”

“Are you here to find a new talent???”, Ara asked Tiffany as she stared at her flawless face with dreamy eyes. Even a girl like her fell in love with her pure beautifulness. Tiffany laughed when she saw her face but then she nodded along.

“Yeah…just randomly looking anyway…maybe I’ll get to find one…who knows???”, she replied her and Ara chuckled. Then Tiffany gazed back to the stage when someone walked out from behind it. Her eyes sparkled in interest once she fixed her sight on a boy, now arranged his steps to walk on the stage. Ara also turned her head toward the same direction and she frowned once she saw Lay on it. He was now holding up his guitar as he sat on a tall chair, facing the crowd.

“Good evening, everyone…I’m here again to perform another Chinese song for all of you as an entertainment for tonight…it’s All The Way North by Jay Chou…enjoy…”, he announced to the microphone and started to paste his hands and eyes on his guitar instead. Ara chuckled but she crossed her arms together and stared with wide eyes toward Lay.

“Can he actually sing??? Better not…”, Ara mumbled to herself but Tiffany who was sitting next to Ara had now relaxed her body on the chair and staring straight toward Lay. She can feel it; the special hidden talent in him as she started to feel the strong attraction to explore more about him. Slowly, a soft calming rhythm came out from the guitar that played by Lay. He inhaled deeply before he sang smoothly, rising up his head toward the microphone.

“The world in the rear view mirror…says goodbye further and further away…you turn around towards your back…the side of your face is still very beautiful…I use my vision to chase…I unexpectedly hear your tears…”, Lay sang, closing his eyes as he was too deep in feeling the song. Meanwhile down stage, Tiffany was shaking her head slowly, following the melody as she enjoyed his singing. Ara herself froze on her seat as she felt her heart thumping noisily inside her ears. Why??? Why she has to feel like this??? She found herself became harder to breathe the longer she stared at Lay. But when her mind told her to stop looking at him, her heart refused it. She wanted to stay locking her eyes on him.

“I go all the way north…leaving the season that has you…you say you are tired…you already have no way to fall in love with anyone else…the wind blows on the mountain road…the frames in the past are all my wrongs…counting the shame…how many times I hurt you…”, Lay was now reached its chorus when he opened his eyes back and spontaneously his sight fell on Ara. He curved a little smiled toward her and she blinked once she saw the cute dimple on the corner of his mouth. It was fascinating to see him smile. Slowly, Ara grinned to him too. As thought that the world was only created for the two of them, Ara and Lay felt that around them had muted with no sound but their loud beating inside their hearts. It was unexpectedly strange but they enjoyed the silence company from each other.

“I go all the way north…leaving the season that has you…the steering wheel encompasses…rotating around my regrets…I speed up to exceed it…yet, I can’t lose the grief following closely…counting the shame…how many times I hurt you…stop the heartlessness…just let wrong be pure….”, Lay finally finished the song and the whole café was roared by their loud clapping of hands. Lay bowed down to them before he smiled and walked down from the stage. Immediately, Tiffany got up from her chair to walk nearing him as Ara blinked her eyes toward them. She watched in silence as Tiffany approached Lay with wide grin.

“Splendid!!!”, she cheered as she clapped her hands. Lay was bowing down to her before he smiled and shook his head.

“No…it’s just a simple performance from me…hopefully you enjoy it, miss…”, he told her as Tiffany handed out a name card to him. Lay eyed her questioningly but Tiffany pouted and pushed the card to his chest.

“Take it…you need to know who I am…”, she forced with a seductive beautiful smile. Lay grinned unwillingly but he took it and pasted his eyes on the card.

“Oh, so you’re a talent scout…”, he commented in impression as Tiffany patted his shoulder, making him to stare down again at her.

“I value you talent, Mr…”,

“Zhang Yixing…I’m a Chinese, by the way…but you can call me Lay only…”, he replied her again and Tiffany nodded.

“Yeah, Mr. Zhang…please, do come to see me at the company if you’re interested to be an official recording artist…I’m sure we can make a bomb together if you’re the star because you already shine so brightly here…”, she offered him again and Lay shook his head with a grin.

“I don’t have any idea about this…but I’ll think about it…”, he said again and Ara was now walking up from the table to go over to Lay but she stopped from behind Tiffany when she was startled to hear something that she said toward Lay.

“But one vital condition for you, Mr. Zhang…if you really wanna be an artist under my agency, remember that you need to be in the status of single…because if you’re married…I afraid that your talent will all be in vain…”, Tiffany reminded him as Lay stared sternly toward her. He darted his eyes from her to another girl behind of Tiffany. Ara was also stuck once she heard it. What should he do??? He was really going to marry her soon enough. They stood there, froze as their heads were blocked from thinking for the right solution.

Kim So Eun walked inside her dressing room nervously. She refused to look at the mirror, afraid that she won’t looks good in her wedding gown. Her hands were cold and she was sure that she was shivering now. The thing was, her room had air conditioner but she was still sweating. As she walked forth and back, her two bride maids, who were her sister in law, Kim Shin Hye and her youngest sister, Kim Hara exchanged looks between them.

“So Eun ah…isn’t it better to sit down??? You’re sweating…your makeup will ruin…”, Shin Hye said when she saw So Eun can’t sit at all. So Eun shook her head.

“I can’t…I think I’m going to puke…”, she told her sister in law, resting her hands on her stomach. There were butterflies inside it. Shin Hye stood up and she pulled So Eun to sit.

“Now, listen to me…take a deep breath…”, Shin Hye instructed So Eun and she did what she was told. The little Hara stood up and she peeked through the small opening of the room’s door.

“The whole crowd…I have never seen many people attend wedding like yours, unnie…it is way cooler when there are also all the press and paparazzi around!”, Hara commented cheerfully with her innocent, cute face. Such a young kid attending this kind of grand wedding, of course she didn’t aware of anything else but the excitement to see the crowd. So Eun started to jump on her feet again but Shin Hye pushed her to sit back.

“Relax, So Eun ah…you are going to walk down the aisle…don’t act like a monkey…”, Shin Hye reminded her again as she glared at Hara, giving her shut-up looks. Hara chuckled. Suddenly, the door was pulled open by someone and So Eun smiled upon seeing her mother poking in her head from outside.

“Can I come in???”, she asked playfully and So Eun nodded. Mrs. Kim went to stand behind So Eun. She admired how So Eun can be so pretty on her wedding day. After all, all girls are princesses on their wedding day.

“You are beautiful, So Eun ah…”, praised her mother as Shin Hye started to arrange the bright shining tiara on So Eun’s hair. Her veil was pinned to her hair with that glittering tiara. So Eun nodded, smiling a bit.

“Thanks, mom…unnie and Hara also…I am lucky to have all of you here…”, So Eun said, suddenly feeling teary. She will miss her family. After married, she knew that she can’t frequently go back to her hometown anymore. She will have to live with Kris and his family, focusing again on her job and also attending all the formal occasions with Kris as his wife. Kris was a public figure. Every movement of him was followed by the press and crowd. So she knew that she needed to keep up with his lifestyle…as his wife. So Eun sighed slowly as she took her mother’s hand, holding it tightly. They smiled meaningfully toward each other before someone chuckled.

“Now I know why on Earth oppa agree to marry you…”, they turned their heads in union toward the doorway once they heard a girl was talking. So Eun frowned toward that girl, now standing by the door as she leaned on the wall beside it. She had her hands crossed together in front of her body as she smiled prettily toward them. This girl was indeed very beautiful and So Eun somehow recognized her face resembled someone. Then she gasped when she remembered Kris’s face. She looked up again to that girl. Her small eyes and sharp stares were similar to Kris; the way she slightly smirked on her lips also portraying the arrogant aura like him. There was no doubt that this girl had something related with Kris. She was tall and slim too. So Eun eyed her from her head to her toe. Her slender body was exposed when she wore only a simple silky white dress that covered her body until her thigh. Her long legs were left to show off her pure white skin and her shoulders also were squeezed confidently as the dress was the sleeveless one. She had her long reddish tone hair to wave freely behind her as she put on some light makeup on her stunning face. Once So Eun had finished scanning her, she realized that the girl had come to stop in front of her, holding out a hand toward So Eun.

“Sorry for the late introduction…but in case you wanna know, I’m Kris oppa’s little sister…glad to meet you today…”, she greeted her with wide smile before So Eun nodded understandingly. Then she took her hand, shook it for awhile before So Eun pointed out her hand toward Mrs. Kim, Shin Hye and Hara.

“Meet my family here…this is my mother and sisters…what’s your name???”, So Eun also greeted her sister-in-law in equal friendly tone. The girl chuckled.

“I don’t like my Chinese name so you can call me with my Christian name…I’m Clara by the way…”, she explained and ended it with small laughed. So Eun nodded to her as they exchanged smiles again. Suddenly Clara rubbed her chin like she was deep in thinking. She stared closely at So Eun as she eyed her up and down.

“Hmmm…not bad…you’re very much pretty…even though I’m sure that Sooyoung unnie will look better with oppa…”, she sarcastically commented and it stopped So Eun from smiling again. Mrs. Kim, Shin Hye and Hara exchanged their confused looks between them, didn’t exactly know about Sooyoung. So Eun herself gulped down slowly. She remembered the warning that Sooyoung gave her yesterday. The bitterness could still be feels inside her heart but So Eun quickly pushed it away when someone knocked on the door. They looked up simultaneously.

“Is the bride ready??? Can we start now???”, a man asked from behind the door and So Eun held her breath.

“Yes, we’re coming…”, Clara answered for them before she turned to look down at So Eun.

“Are you ready, unnie???”, So Eun bit her lips but she nodded.

“Let’s get this over…”, she agreed and got up from her seat. She walked until she stopped at the doorway. Clara and Shin Hye was standing side by side behind her as her bride maids while Hara ran to her from in front, leading her as So Eun’s flower girl. Hara waved a basket in her hand, filled with white and red roses inside it. She winked toward So Eun before they started to walk again.

So Eun felt her legs trembling madly once they had come nearer to the long and high staircase that will lead to the main grand hall, where her groom and all the guests were waiting. She stopped on top of the stairs, staring down as she felt her vision became blurry and shining with the nonstop flashing of cameras. The presses were everywhere, circling the stairs as they kept on snapping So Eun’s first appearance as a stunningly beautiful bride.

“The bride is here! She is here!”, she could clearly heard everyone was chanting excitedly once they saw she stood there. She tried to crack a smile for them but it died again on her lips because she was too nervous to walk down the stairs. She was afraid that she will fall because of her long length dress and her 7 inches high heels that she took almost 2 weeks to practice walking with it. If she failed to walk properly, she knew that she would be kill by her coordinator. So Eun glanced sideway, taking a quick look to her mother before Mrs. Kim nodded to her. She smiled warmly as she silently encouraged her to be brave and continued walking. Then So Eun took her deepest breath and carefully arranged her steps down the stairs. From here, she could hear the glorious romantic melody of the piano played by the pianist to create the calming mood for everyone. Once she safely reached the last step of the stairs, she bowed down politely to the presses; a proper attic that she learned before the wedding.

*********************************************************

The crowd had become quiet, waiting for the bride to appear at the archway that leads her to her man in her life. The coldness came from the air conditioner was blowing lightly, sending comfortable feeling to all the people attending the wedding. The priest walked in, followed by the best men of the groom. They stood next to the priest including Chanyeol and Tao among them. Then the groom walked in, looking so much of a prince charming in his white tuxedo suited very well with his tall and tough body. He stopped in front of the priest and bowed down to him before next to the guests. Kris Wu, he is the groom for the marriage. He looked up as a man, standing next to the main door; signaled to them that it was time for the bride to come in. Kris nodded and he took a deep breath. He closed his eyes for awhile to calm his nerve down. He only opened his eyes back when his ears caught sound of the door being widely opened to reveal his bride. The first thing that he saw was Kim So Eun.

Everyone looked at the bride too and they were charmed with her aura, radiant and sweet. So Eun stood at the archway and she bowed down to the crowd. Then here came Clara from her back to pass a bouquet of flowers to her. So Eun took it and eyed it for awhile. In this asymmetrical bouquet, barely yellow double narcissus mingled among classic white narcissus with yellow cups and tubular freesias that have golden throats. Adding to the appeal, the freesias smell lightly sweet while the narcissus has a heady fragrance. Wide and narrow-stripped grosgrain ribbons with pinned-on vintage button tied the tailored mix, making the whole bouquet to match well with her wedding theme. So Eun smiled a bit before she started walking down the aisle as the pianist changed the music into a slower tune, to match the steps that she took before she reached Kris on the stage. Kris was now blinded by her beauty. So Eun smiled at him, tried her best to act as her eyes didn’t look anywhere but fixed on him. Kris, on the other hands, was confused with his mix feeling that bit him inside. So Eun was indeed very radiant in her wedding dress. The wedding dress was white colored with see-through flowery laces on the top, revealing her shoulders side. The dress shaped her body nicely down to her knees where it sprouted to create elegant looks for it. The tail of her dress followed behind her in the shape of a mermaid tail. Mr. Wu and his wife alongside with Mr. Kim and Mrs. Kim stood up as So Eun came nearer to the stage.

“She is so beautiful…”, commented the crowd as So Eun walked. Some of the girls were having tears in their eyes, appreciating the pureness of the situation. As So Eun reached Kris, Mr. Kim walked to them. Kris bowed to his father in law and all his best men followed his action too. The pianist stopped playing the piano. Mr. Kim took So Eun’s hand and he handed it toward Kris. Kris took it in his before he looked down at So Eun. So Eun caught his eyes as he held her to stand next to him, facing the priest but their eyes stay locked on each others. The priest looked at the couple in front of him.

“Read out your vow now, Mr. Wu…followed by Ms. Kim…”, instructed the priest. Kris glanced to his father. Mr. Wu nodded at his son. He could feel the nausea in his stomach as his hands started to shiver but in the same time he was sweating as well. To be married and declaring a vow, what a huge responsibility even though the action is simple.

“Mr. Wu???”, called the priest as Kris stared blankly at him. So Eun also was chuckling silently beside him before she bit her lips. What if she herself was stumbling during saying out her vow???

“I will read my vow now…”, Kris announced. The priest nodded at him. He laid a piece of paper in front of Kris, the vow. Kris had memorized the lines, part of him being a groom.

“Face your bride and read the vow clearly, please…”, the priest instructed him again. Kris turned around and So Eun did the same, facing each others. They stared into each other’s eyes.

“Kim So Eun, as I stand here before you, my eyes looking so deeply into yours…I see all of the things I fell in love with…”, Kris started as So Eun inhaled deeply to start chanting her own lines of vow.

“Kris Wu, as I stand here before you, my heart beating so loudly in my ears…I find myself so lost for the right words to say…”, So Eun added after him.

“As I stand here before you, this ring in my hand…”, Kris said again and one of the best men walked on the stage to give a small box containing a pair of rings toward Kris. He picked up the white gold ring with smaller size to show it in front of So Eun. She eyed it with her heart noisily fluttering in her ears. “…it makes me remember how complete you make my life…”, Kris finished another line for his vow. Again, So Eun followed after him.

“With every smile…”, she remembered the way Kris was laughing to her family. “…every embrace…”, she remembered the moment when they accidently kissed and hugged each other in his bathroom the day before. “…every tear you’ve ever wiped from my face…”, So Eun said as she even remembered the time when she cried and hurt but Kris was there to medicate her bruise. “…it makes me remember how blessed I really am…how I can’t ever thank the Lord above enough, for allowing you into my life…”, she finished as she gulped down the throat. Yeah, God is the one that allowed this boy, this very boy in front of her to be her husband; a first man that she accepted officially to be with her. But for how long, she never know the answer as she prayed and let the God to arrange everything for their future.

“It makes me remember every laugh we’ve ever shared…”, Kris himself recalled the time when So Eun was laughing madly at him when he stumbled inside his own car because she drove like a mad cow. “…every hard time we made it through together…”, So Eun saved him. When he was despair because of losing Sooyoung as his bride, out of a sudden this girl destined to appear in his life to become his wife. “…and every beautiful moment there is to come…”, Kris muttered again. Strange, but he secretly looking forward to start living with So Eun. That was what his heart was telling him right now. Then, it was So Eun’s turn to pick up his ring to show it toward Kris.

“Kris Wu…”, she called out his name again. “…I give you this ring, my heart, my soul…I give you the everything I am today as I stand before you…”

“I promise to love you, protect you, be with you forever and cherish every moment as if it were the last moment on Earth…”, Kris added before he stopped to take a deep breath as he was about to finish the last line in his vow. Then, he stared back deeply into her eyes.

“Kim So Eun, I love you…with this ring, let it be known, that over every person in the world I could be with, I chose you…”, yes, So Eun was chosen to be the bride instead of Sooyoung. “…let it be known, that with this ring, I’m promising to be here for you for all eternity…’till death do us apart…”, Kris finally finished his whole vow smoothly as everyone held their breath nervously, waiting for the bride’s answer. The priest turned to look at So Eun.

“Your answer, Ms. Kim???”, he asked her and So Eun glanced sideway uncertainly to him. She shifted her gazes back to Kris before she sighed. There was no turning back for them now.

“I do…”, she agreed and the guests buzzed, letting go of their relief sigh. At last, they were declared as an official husband and wife. The priest nodded and motioned Kris to put on the ring for So Eun. Kris slightly nodded before he held up her hand and slipped the ring on her left finger. She did the same to him before they gazed up to each other’s face, feeling the thousand of emotions inside their hearts; happy, sad, guilty, curious, afraid…everything.

“Now, as we all gather here on this glorious day to give our blessing on this couple…I hereby declaring Kris Wu and Wu So Eun as an official married couple…congratulation!”, announced the priest as So Eun flinched upon hearing her surname had changed. The crowd was standing up from their seats as they gave away roaring applauses for the couple. Kris gulped down his throat. He was now someone’s husband. What should he do??? Then Chanyeol and Tao came to stand before them to give out the wedding certificate to be signed by Kris and So Eun. They blinked at it before Kris chuckled upon seeing So Eun’s confused face. He moved to hold up the pen and signed on it, declaring his agreement on their marriage as So Eun glared up to Tao. He was winking naughtily at her as So Eun stuck out her tongue playfully back. Kris glanced seriously at them and he frowned toward So Eun, making a look that also meant, stop-fooling-around-and-sign-this! So Eun blew out air from in disgust before she grabbed the pen from him and signed a very BIG sign on the certificate until almost half of the paper where decorated by her autograph. Kris rolled his eyes as So Eun nodded in satisfaction but then they both widened their eyes in union when the priest said…

“Mr. Wu…you may now kiss the bride…”, he ordered him and Kris turned angrily toward him.

“For what???”, he asked dumbly, putting his hands on his hips. So Eun was also glaring fiercely toward the priest. That man exchanged his weird looks from Kris to So Eun.

“Don’t you know it??? The kiss to seal your vow…”, he explained to them as So Eun chuckled. She made a gesture like she was about to throw out.

“Uweekkkk! In your dream…”, she muttered in disgust as Kris jerked his eyebrow high. He suddenly remembered how So Eun was sneaking into his bathroom to peek at him during he took his bath so now, Kim So Eun, time for pay back! He squeezed his shoulders toward her, eyeing her from head to toe seductively. So Eun who just realized his creepy stares hugged herself with her hands, she was frowning as she covered her body with her hands. Kris laughed evilly at her.

“What are you so afraid of, honey??? We are married…you are MINE from now on…”, Kris told her as he his lips teasingly. So Eun shook her head as she took her steps backward, distancing their bodies. Kris followed slowly toward her.

“No…no…Kris, control yourself…please…”, she begged him as she held up her hands to prevent him from nearing her. At the same time, she has to mind her steps as she was struggling to keep her balance and resisting her body from falling down the stage. Kris laughed mischievously again.

“Don’t worry, honey…it is not the first time we ever kissed after all…come here…”, he said again as So Eun felt her heels had reached the edge of the stairs. No way to safe her body from falling down, she grabbed Kris by his arms and Kris seized the chance to quickly leaned forward to her face. He was about to paste his lips on her but So Eun was wicked enough to step her 7 inches heels on Kris’s feet. He yelled in pain in whisper tone as he hugged her around her waist, leaning on her weight. So Eun smiled evilly back as they stayed like that, pretending to be deep in kissing as the presses madly clicking their photos.

“You will never win over me, Kris Wu…”, So Eun mumbled when they were staring deep into each other’s eyes as their faces were just a few inches from each other. Kris chuckled.

“Oh yeah??? Let’s anticipate for more, Mrs. Wu So Eun…”, he mumbled back, addressing her with her new name. At once, So Eun pushed his body away and they stood straight again, facing the crowd before they bowed politely to them. So Eun was grinning happily to all the cameras hovering around them and she made a peace sign; the ultimate sign that make the picture look lively and smart while Kris was staring sternly toward all the press, putting on his usual arrogant look back. Then, the press started to interview them.

“Congratulation, Mr and Mrs. Wu…how do you feel for this fairytale wedding???”, one of them asked. Kris and So Eun turned to glance at each other for a second before they laughed plastically together.

“Yeah! Very much satisfying!”, Kris commented and slung one arm casually around So Eun’s shoulders. So Eun stared at his hand confusedly before another press asked them again.

“Mrs. Wu, you look very pretty today…how do you feel to finally marrying such a rich man in Korea??? Are you nervous or proud???”, the press asked and So Eun raised her eyebrow wickedly to Kris. Then she looked again to the cameras and flashed her glittering smiles.

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!Feeling lucky as Hell!”, she answered them and it was her that now hugged Kris around his waist. Kris bit his lips as he glared down to her but So Eun was too busied to entertain the cameras with her hideous peace sign.

“For the front page tomorrow, can we have a pose from both of you??? The most romantic one…”, requested from one of the interviewers and it clicked Kris inside his mind to get his revenge toward So Eun. So he smiled devilishly to them and nodded.

“Sure…of course…certainly…”, he agreed and before So Eun got to say a word about it, Kris turned his body toward her, grabbed her head to face him, cupped her cheeks tightly as So Eun blinked and froze under his touch before he automatically forced his lips on her. So Eun blinked wider but she couldn’t move her body as Kris held her body tighter and closer to him. This time was a real kiss since So Eun could clearly felt his lips brushed gently on her lips. Then the cameras snapped their kissing pose madly again, blinding So Eun’s eyes with the flashes. At last, they sealed their vow.

Luhan was laughing madly as he watched the live wedding occasion on the television. He thought this Mr. Wu and his bride was one funny couple. Suddenly the bell rang loudly. He glanced to the door and looked up to a clock on the wall. It was almost midnight right now. Who could possibly come to his house now??? Luhan thought questioningly as the bell rang again. Finally he stood to approach the door.

“Coming…”, he said as another impatient bell ringing sounded inside his apartment. Then he reached to unlock the door and at once, the person outside pushed the door open. Luhan blinked to that person.

“Yoo Bi ah…what are you doing here???”, he asked in weird tone as Yoo Bi simply walked into his house without waiting for his invitation. She kicked out her shoes and arranged her steps into the living room. Luhan chuckled at her but he closed the door again.

“What bring you here???”, he asked again as Yoo Bi was now lying down on the couch and flipping through the channels that would attract her interest. Then she pointed out toward her schoolbag on the table.

“Help me with my homework…”, she said coldly and Luhan chuckled. But then he nodded and started to kneel down on the floor. He eyed his little sister and realized there was something bothering her. He caught sight of the black circle under her eyes. Luhan reached out to touch her shoulder.

“Yoo Bi ah…are you crying???”, he tried to guess as Yoo Bi pouted at him.

“Don’t ask…it’s not polite…”, she replied him and Luhan laughed shortly.

“Fine…where is the work??? Let’s get it done quickly so that I can send you home back…”, Luhan told her but Yoo Bi sat back straight. She was frowning seriously to Luhan.

“What???”, he blinked blankly at her.

“I want to sleep here tonight…I don’t want to get back…”, Yoo Bi said stubbornly as Luhan narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

“What has happen to you, Lee Yoo Bi??? You’re scaring me…are you get scold by uncle??? Or you’re fighting with Yoo Na???”, Luhan tried to guess again on the reason why Yoo Bi became so sulky. She chuckled and hid her face away from him. Yes, the last one was true. She fought with her sister. They talked about the thing at the mall and Yoo Bi urged Yoo Na to tell her the truth but she refused. Yoo Bi felt really pity toward Luhan. Her heart strongly told her that Yoo Na was hiding something from them. She heard it twice, the conversation of her sister about running away somewhere and Yoo Bi became more aware to it when she saw that flight ticket and passport. She wasn’t blind and stupid. She could think and she could guess. She knew that her sister might think of leaving their family. If she did, that mean Luhan will be left alone too. He would be sad about it and Yoo Bi didn’t wish that to be happened. She wants everything to go accordingly to their plan. She wanted her sister to marry him. Her train of thoughts was interrupted when Luhan stood to pat her hair. Yoo Bi looked up to him as he smiled.

“Fine…you can stay tonight…I’ll get you some coffee before we start…”, he said thoughtfully and Luhan started to walk away but he stopped halfway when Yoo Bi suddenly hugged him from behind. Luhan widened his eyes in surprise when he felt her hands locked tightly around his waist. Yoo Bi was now resting her head on his back as she sobbed slowly.

“I’m sorry, oppa…I’m really sorry…”, she kept on apologized to him before Luhan slowly let go of her hands to stare back at her. Once he saw she was crying, Yoo Bi hastily wiped away her tears but Luhan held her hands, making her stopped from wiping her cheeks. Luhan smiled brotherly to her.

“No, it is fine if you want to stay here with me…if that calm you down…”, Luhan said as he pulled Yoo Bi gently into his embraces. He hugged her, patting slowly on her back as Yoo Bi gripped tighter on his shirt. She knew she shouldn’t do this. Luhan was about to marry her sister but the strange part was; only Luhan can completely calm her down no matter when she was down and sad. Maybe it was a habit that she got after so long being close to him. Then she let go of him and smiled up toward him.

“Thank you…but I’m going to be okay…”, she told him. Luhan grinned in relief.

“Good…now take a seat…”, he instructed her as Yoo Bi nodded cheerfully. They sat together after that as Luhan taught Yoo Bi about her Physics homework. Then Yoo Bi suddenly asked him something.

“Oppa…what will you do if…I mean if…unnie leave you someday???”, she asked mysteriously, trying to test him. Luhan frowned at her but then he put down the pen that he held between his fingers. He rubbed his chin, deep in thinking as Yoo bi gulped down nervously.

“Hmmm…I can’t go on with my life I think…”, Luhan finally answered as he winked playfully. Maybe he looked like he was making a joke but Yoo Bi knew that he was totally serious about it. She knew how much he loves her sister. Then Luhan raised his eyebrow to her.

“Why do you ask me about it???”, he asked, narrowing his eyes anxiously to her. Yoo Bi shook her head in fast mode as she grinned.

“Nothing, really…I told you it is an ‘if’…”, she reasoned out, hiding the truth away from him. She couldn’t say something that will ruin her oppa’s relationship with her unnie. She wished to see them live happily together. To break down the awkwardness between them, Yoo Bi hastily got up.

“Ah…I need to use the toilet now…”, she stretched and walked over to the toilet. She was completely familiar with his house since she usually spent her weekend here with Yoo Na. Yoo Bi felt herself as a cupid for Luhan and Yoo Na. Luhan chuckled from behind her but he continued to solve the question, frowning as his fingers actively pushing the calculator on its buttons. Yoo Bi pulled open the toilet’s door and she clicked on the switch to light up the toilet. She was about to step inside when she saw something small and brownish black crawling on the floor. Spontaneously she widened her eyes.

“AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!”, Yoo Bi screamed on top of her lungs, making Luhan to tremble and threw away the pen that he held. Hastily he got up to run toward her.

“What is it??? What is it??? Yoo Bi ah! Are you okay???”, he asked nervously as he ran to her side. Yoo Bi was now jumping in disgust on her feet as she pointed a finger toward that thing.

“Oppa!!! Help me!!! It’s cockroach!!! Ah!!!”, she yelled again as Luhan sighed in relief and leaned his head on the wall behind them.

“Huh…aigoo, Yoo Bi ah…for God’s sake, it is just a cockroach!!!”, Luhan scolded her as Yoo Bi shook her head.

“JUST a cockroach, you said??? I hate it!!! They are smelly and ugh! Hate it!!! Now, kill it for me!”, Yoo Bi urged loudly again as she tugged Luhan on his shirt.

“Yeah, yeah…I got it…wait here…”, he said and held her arm to make her stopped from jumping around.

“Hurry up, you slow poke!”, Yoo Bi yelled again and Luhan covered his ears with his hands. Then he walked to the kitchen to get the broom. Yoo Bi was still staring scarily toward the cockroach before it moved slowly again and…

“AHHHHH!!!! HELP ME!!! IT FLIES AWAY!!! OPPPPAAA!!!”, Luhan was startled as the broom that he picked was thrown down to the floor once he heard Yoo Bi screamed again. He clutched his heart but he hastily picked it up back and hurried to the toilet but halfway, he met with Yoo Bi, now running in F1 speed toward him.

“AHHHH!!!”, she still screaming as Luhan spread his hands wide to stop her.

“Yoo…Yoo Bi stop…”, but he was late as they finally collided and Luhan bumped with Yoo Bi. They lost their balancing as they felt their bodies fell to the floor.

“BUMP!”, Luhan laid on the floor as Yoo Bi pasted on top of his body. But when they opened their eyes, they found themselves blinked stupidly toward each other. Reality hit them hard on their faces. That was the truth, they just accidently kissing each other!

Night had long enough setting down its curtain but the party inside the ball still running wildly as the music booming loudly, filling the whole grand hall area.

“Now, let us welcome the newlywed, Kris Wu and Wu So Eun!!!”, announced the DJ as he slowed down the music. Everyone on the dance floor clapped their hands in union as they watched Kris walking side by side with So Eun. They had changed into their simpler attires. Kris was still a stunningly handsome groom in his casual coat as So Eun had now amazed everyone with her seducing sleeveless black gown that exposed her shoulders and legs as the gown was knee-length on the front part. They came to stand at the centre of the floor before a waiter came to pull a big table in front of them. They were about to cut their wedding cake. So Eun widened her eyes excitedly once she saw how big and tall the cake was.

“Oh! This is going to be fun! I never eat a cake this big and fluffy! Yummy…”, So Eun mumbled alone as she rubbed her lips but Kris was chuckling by her side.

“Please…don’t do something hideous here…”, he warned her as Kris glared down to her. So Eun pouted.

“An old fashion businessman like you really don’t have any style or taste…yes, as old as a Dodo…very much backdated…”, she told him confidently, comparing Kris with the almost extinction species from some kind of bird called Dodo. Kris held his hand high, trying to slap her but he quickly hid his hand back when he saw their parents were walking toward them. Mrs. Kim hugged So Eun once she reached her.

“Congratulation!”, she said, grinning widely and So Eun chuckled on her shoulder but she shifted her face in radiant smile again when she looked straight back to her mother.

“Thanks…”, she said sheepishly and Kris bowed down toward both of Mr. Wu and Mr. Kim. They patted Kris on his shoulders.

“Be a good man…you’re her husband now…”, Mr. Wu reminded his son as Kris nodded lazily. Then he turned toward So Eun, now busied chitchatting with her mother and Mrs. Wu. Mr. Wu smiled before he came to stand beside her daughter in law.

“Can I borrow her for awhile???”, he asked the ladies and both of the mothers nodded their heads. So Eun blinked her eyes but Mr. Wu offered his hand toward her. So Eun glanced up to Kris’s stony face but he made no sound to it so So Eun smiled and slowly slipped her hand below his arm. Then Mr. Wu brought her to walk over nearing Kris.

“As your wedding present, I have gave a key to a house to So Eun…hopefully you like the house and willing to move in there…”, Mr. Wu told them as So Eun nodded happily.

“Thanks again, dad…”, she said her gratitude and Kris forced a small smile to his father.

“We will move in as soon as possible…”, he told Mr. Wu but then So Eun clapped a hand on , making both of Kris and his father to stare questioningly to her.

“Dad, I have a question…”, she started and raised her hand like asking the question inside a classroom. Mr. Wu laughed at her but he nodded shortly.

“Anything, dear…anything…”, he agreed and So Eun bit her lips in hesitation.

“Do the house big and tall enough???”, she unashamedly asked Mr. Wu as Kris frowned down to her, making a face like ‘what-the-hell-are-you-asking’. So Eun ignored him as she fixed her eyes on Mr. Wu instead. That man was once again laughed out loud.

“Sure, So Eun ah…of course I’m buying a comfortable house for you…trust me, it is tall and big enough…plus it got three floors in total so you and Kris can easily pick any floor to sleep on…”, Mr. Wu explained seriously as So Eun sighed in relief. Then Mr. Wu frowned at her.

“Why do you ask about it???”, he stared curiously toward his daughter in law before So Eun laughed sheepishly to him. Then she let go of his hand to come standing next to her husband. She linked her arm with Kris as he raised his eyebrow to her.

“Dad, of course we need a big and tall house…because look at your son…he is tall as a giraffe so he need a tall house to fit in…and he is as old as the Dodo…Dodo flies around so, yeah…we need a big house to give him some freedom to fly…if not, Kris will stress out…”, So Eun explained in her most serious tone before everyone around them that heard it burst out laughing madly. Mr. Wu himself was now clutching his stomach funnily. So Eun looked up to wink at Kris as Kris nodded his head, surrendered to the craziness of his wife.

“My little wife is very humorous, didn’t she???”, Kris tried to joke along too as he hugged So Eun around her shoulders. Mr. Wu nodded his head between his laughter.

“Yes, So Eun…I agree with you…Kris do look like a giraffe and a Dodo…as expected from his wife…you know him better…”, he commented and they laughed in union again. Kris groaned loudly as he suddenly became the humiliation subject. So he let go of So Eun and walked over to stand in front of the cake.

“Hurry up! Let’s slice this cake for everyone!”, he immediately changed the subject and So Eun ran naughtily to his side, still laughing slowly.

“Very funny, huh???”, Kris asked, raising his eyebrow to her. So Eun nodded confidently.

“It’s fun to make a fool of you…”, she told him as Kris flashed her his devilish smile.

“Yeah, we will see about it…”, he said and they both turned to look at the cake back. Their wedding cake was created extravagantly in the shape of an ancient castle. There were 9 towers, arranged accordingly from the tallest to the shortest one. It colored in light brown and gold as it have the flavors of chocolate, honey and vanilla. It was really beautiful as the archway of the castle, led down the mountain by a creamy staircase and below the cake, there was a plastic horse, designed with a small groom puppet that hugging his doll wife on his lap as they ride the horse. The beautifulness was added more by the finger- icing in multi-colored as it shaped the stones and trees around the cake kingdom. It was cute and very much creative. Then Kris held up the long knife before he playfully threatens to stab the knife on So Eun’s stomach. Everybody gasped in shock but then Kris quickly lowered the knife and pulled So Eun closer to him for another hug. Kris smiled to the guests as he patted the frozen So Eun on her back.

“Don’t worry…I won’t kill you…”, he said and gave a brief kiss on her hair. So Eun pushed him away as she blinked stupidly to Kris. What was wrong with this man??? Pretending to be lovey-dovey with her. So Eun chuckled but she silently felt the sparkle in her heart. She was happy. Then Kris shoved the knife toward her, motioning her to grip the knife together with him so So Eun smiled and grabbed the knife.

“One, two, three!!!”, the guest counted for them before So Eun and Kris pushed the knife on the cake and sliced it into two small parts. They clapped their hands as someone shouted over the crowd.

“Feed her! Feed her!”, So Eun and Kris exchanged weird looks between them as the guests agreed and once again gave their cheerful applauses.

“Hahahahaha! Can we not do it???”, So Eun laughed too loudly as she smacked Kris on his arm. Kris chuckled but he already sliced another small piece of the cake and shoved it up toward So Eun. So Eun pouted to him but Kris rolled his eyes. They smiled plastically toward everyone.

“Come on! Don’t make me feel tired, honey…”, Kris again and So Eun stiffly opened for Kris to feed her. But when it nearly reaches , he pushed it straight to her cheek, painting her face with the cake. He laughed out loud while So Eun closed her eyes, trying to gather her patience. The crowd also laughing as they saw So Eun beautiful face was now painted with the icing but when So Eun opened her eyes again, she grabbed the horse puppet and pulled Kris by the collar to stuck the horse inside his mouth. Kris chocked as So Eun wiped her face from the creamy icing.

“That is special feeding way from me!”, she said and smirked. She turned to walk away but Kris was fast enough to stop her. He trapped his hand around her waist as he scooped another handful of cake.

“Yah!!! Let me go!”, So Eun yelled in refusing but Kris had already found her face as he once again colored his wife’s face with the cake. So Eun immediately pushed his hand and they started to fight with the icing war. The guests shook their heads in disbelief over the newlywed childish act but they were happy to see the two were enjoying themselves. Suddenly, Clara was running among them as she dragged someone with her. The crowd was now back to their respective activity, dancing or eating. Clara finally found her brother running around the cake as he chased after his wife. They laughed happily but Clara yelled to them.

“Oppa!!! Look who is coming!!!”, she said and at once making Kris and So Eun to freeze on their legs. The smile on Kris’s face was swept away when he landed his eyes on a girl that stood next to Clara. It was Sooyoung that smiled sweetly to him. So Eun was still busied brushing off the cake from her eyes before she finished and a bit startled to see Sooyoung there.

“Hello, newlywed…”, she greeted them cheerfully, waving a hand toward Kris and So Eun. Kris cursed under his breath as So Eun looked down to her feet, the sweet taste of the cake that lingered on her lips. Then she broke the awkwardness when she exchanged looks from Sooyoung to Kris and said…

“I’m off to wash my face for awhile…”, then So Eun immediately turned back to leave them. Sooyoung chuckled; feeling satisfied that So Eun knew how to leave them alone. Kris stared sternly to her before he glanced around, looking at the busy crowd.

“You’re coming with me!”, he said roughly and snatched Sooyoung to walk away, leaving the floor and Clara that blinked stupidly to her brother and Sooyoung as they disappeared among the guests.

“Hey, relax babe…”, Sooyoung said again once they were out from the hall and Kris stopped walking at the nearby lobby. He let go of her hand and sighed heavily, closing his eyes. Slowly, Sooyoung came to walk nearer to him before she hugged him from behind.

“I miss you so much…”, she said and rested her head on Kris’s back. Kris opened his eyes as he stared blankly on her arms that wrapped around his waist. He suddenly felt dizzy. He couldn’t get So Eun out from his mind but he realized how much he missed this girl.

“Oppa…”, he heard Sooyoung called to him as she let him go. Kris turned his back from her and stared down to her pretty face. Still, he didn’t make a move to touch her like always so Sooyoung pouted.

“Yeah…you’re married to her so you don’t miss me anymore…”, she said sulkily as Kris exhaled slowly.

“It is not like that…”, he shook his head and leaned his body on the wall next to him. Sooyoung squeezed her shoulders as she stood straight and looked angrily to him. She was frowning.

“Then, tell me…do you miss me or not?!”, she forced him before Kris bit his lips.

“I do…but you don’t need to come here only to know that…”, Kris told her and she rolled her eyes.

“Please…I’m not in my in here accidently…Clara invited me!”, she said angrily again and Kris nodded his head.

“Still…I’m not ready to see you in front of So Eun…”, he replied her and Sooyoung raised her eyebrow sarcastically to him.

“Why??? You are afraid that she will get mad with you??? You really think that she will care??? Damn no!”, Sooyoung scolded again and threw her hands up to her head in frustration. Kris immediately shook his head as he too frowning down to Sooyoung.

“Of course I’m not afraid of her! It just that…just…”, Kris found himself lost for words to describe his feeling toward So Eun. He gulped down his throat as Sooyoung sighed heavily. She massaged her forehead for awhile before she leaned closer to him, patting his cheeks.

“Oppa…you promised to love me…only me…”, she reminded him in low voice as Kris stared emptily toward her. Of course he loves her, like Hell that no words could describe his love to Sooyoung. He loves her wholeheartedly. Slowly he nodded his head.

“Sure…with no doubt…”, he answered shortly as Sooyoung chuckled because Kris staying still without making a move to kiss or hug her. But as she looked sideway as she spotted So Eun walked down alone from the nearby staircase. Sooyoung smiled wickedly as she seized the chance to make So Eun realized that Kris was only belonged to her. Then she gazed up again toward Kris.

“If you really love me…then kiss me…”, she said suddenly, making Kris to blink at her. So Eun let go of a long sigh when she thought that she needed to come back into the hall to entertain Sooyoung in front of Kris. She cursed under her breath as she took her last steps down the stairs but she froze there once she saw Kris and Sooyoung standing eyes to eyes with each other. Sooyoung was smiling up to Kris but So Eun didn’t see his expression as he stood with his back on her. Suddenly she gasped when Sooyoung pulled his head down toward her face and landed a kiss on his lips. So Eun frowned when she felt her heart screamed in sudden pain. She felt her eyes became teary when Kris didn’t move a budge to push her body away and stop the kiss. Suddenly So Eun turned in surprise to a direction a few meters from them. From behind a wall, there was paparazzo, snapping his camera toward Kris and Sooyoung that was still deep in their kisses. So Eun held her breath, they all will be a dead meat now.

Chapter 56: Oh my god really long story..but i enjoyed it but my eyes and neck are tired hahah and maybe because it was 3 stories in one ;) they all have unique and different story but same start..haha bride instead of planner, really nice idea..hha but hmm I was more of always eager to read luhan and yoobi's part..not saying other two were boring but luhan and yoobi's story idea i find it extra interesting..hmm any plan to make luhan n yoobi fic like you did with kris and so eun..coincidently I really like so eun since bof days :) and go ara since who are you? days ..well and tho I haven't watched yoobi's drama..I found her cutely charming..haha I enjoyed all the story but if krid never married sooyoung, why didn't he went to look for soeun? But it was cruel you know so eun had to divorce him that way..if I was so eun I guess I will never forgive anyone esp who suggested that idea..hahhah but thanks I had wonderful time reading :D
