THE WEDDING PLANNERS

“What...what is actually happening???”, So Eun heard someone asked her, making her to regain her senses back. Quickly, she pushed Lee Joon’s body apart from her with her full effort. She pushed him so hard on his chest until Lee Joon was thrown backward, releasing his grip on her body. So Eun glared up to Lee Joon.

“Lee...Lee oppa...what are you doing???”, she questioned him slowly, covering her lips that was kissed by him just now with her palm. Lee Joon gulped down his throat. Seriously, he was shock too that he didn’t realize it when he accidently or intentionally kiss her –well, he can’t choose which one is right. Si Hoo shook his head upon seeing Lee Joon’s blurry face. It was clear to him that Lee Joon himself didn’t even know what he just did to their miss. He walked over to So Eun.

“So Eun sshi...”, Si Hoo called to her as he touched her left arm. So Eun glanced around to him.

“Kim oppa...you’re here...did...did you saw...”, So Eun just started to ask when they suddenly heard...

“DUSH!!!”, someone was punching someone so So Eun and Si Hoo automatically turned their heads toward the sound. So Eun gasped when she saw Lee Joon was lying down on the road, growling in pain while Kris was standing tall in front of him. Did Kris just land his fist on Lee Joon??? So Eun thought dully but she heard Kris hissed. She darted her eyes up to him.

“You should watch your manner toward my wife! She is your boss not some kind of toy!”, Kris barked at him before he turned his body to So Eun. So Eun blinked at him as she watched Kris walking straight to her.

“You, come with me!”, he exclaimed angrily to So Eun and he grabbed her around her wrist, pulling her so fast and strong to start walking until So Eun was howling in pain.

“Ouch! Kris! You hurt me!”, she blurted out to him but Kris ignored her as he kept on dragging his wife away from those crazy people. Si Hoo eyed them from behind as he slowly breathed out weakly under his breath. He shifted his eyes on a girl that came with Kris just now. She was biting her lips in complete anger and dissatisfaction as she has her eyes pasted on Kris and So Eun too. Then Sooyoung groaned in frustration and snapped her deadly stares on Lee Joon back.

“You useless brat!”, she cursed at him and squezzed her shoulders to walk away. Si Hoo frowned at her –why does she need to be mad??? Si Hoo didn’t remember that this girl has anything to do with the couple or Lee Joon. Well, of course he never knows the true secret behind all of this. He shook his head and took his steps toward Lee Joon. Si Hoo held out his hand to help him standing up again. Lee Joon peered up to him but he arrogantly pushed his body to stand by himself. He didn’t want to look fragile in front of him just because he was punched by Kris just now. Lee Joon rubbed his palms from the dust pasted on it. Si Hoo frowned as he watched his calm expression.

“Don’t you have any idea what you’ve done??? She is our master, you know...you can’t act like that to her...”, Si Hoo advised him but Lee Joon smirked.

“I’m just playing around...don’t take it to your heart...”, he simply answered him and started to pace away.

“Just in case you forget it, Lee...So Eun sshi is married to Wu sshi...don’t interrupt between them...you’re just her bodyguard...like me...we’re in the same position where we’re not meant for her...”, Si Hoo reminded him. He gulped down his throat. He felt the bitterness too. He knew that deep down his heart, even though he was reminding Lee Joon aboutSo Eun –he was actually putting up a warning for himself too. Si Hoo started to realize that he felt attracted to So Eun whenever he was around her –maybe because she is a kindhearted girl who treats everyone nicely despite the status and all. But on top of all that, Si Hoo completely aware that he couldn’t...just couldn’t have any special feeling for her. He is just her servant. Lee Joon paused on his legs when he heard Si Hoo told him like that. He bit his lips as he felt the fact was killing him inside.

He hated it –to be caught within this twisted situation. He is just an outsider at the beginning who never know who is Kim So Eun at first. But now when he gets involved with her life, he just couldn’t resist it to be close to her. Not just because he was duties to be her heartbreakerbut also because Lee Joon found himself getting harder to control his feeling. Is he started to fall for her??? Lee Joon saw blank white pages in his mind as an answer to it. He can’t understand his true feeling.

Kris kicked the main door of their home to make it opened wide for them. So Eun flinched in fear and shock as her ears caught sound of the loud bang caused by the door. He dragged her to enter the house and when they did, So Eun finally jerked her hand off from him.

“Let go of me!!!”, she yelled at Kris and pulled her wrist freed from him. They both stopped walking as Kris groaned. He turned glaring at So Eun.

“Are you kidding me, Kim So Eun???”, So Eun shot him with her own stern stares.

“That’s my line! You’re the one who invited YOUR GIRLFRIEND at this house!”, she snapped back to Kris.

“And kissing YOUR OWN BODYGUARD is such a sweet and clever revenge to get back on me, right???”, he groaned and throwing up his hands to his head in frustration. So Eun shook her head in disbelief as she eyed him.

“Kris, you saw it! I’m not willing or asking for anyone to kiss me!”, she shouted again, defending herself from the blind accusation of Kris. He narrowed his eyes on her.

“And do you think I am a fool who will easily get trick by you??? Forget it!”, he replied and So Eun nodded, finally gave up to argue with her husband.

“Fine! Then live up to your own expectation about me! I know I’m a total who kissed my own bodyguard! While you, Kris Wu...is a fallen angel who never make a single mistake even though you kissed your goddess girl at the night of our wedding! Life is fair enough, isn’t it??? Excuse me!”, she blurted out angrily at him and So Eun started to climb up the stairs. Kris clicked his tongue impatiently.

“Where do you think you’re going???”, he asked loudly to her, hiding away the guiltiness that he felt in his heart when So Eun reminded him back about his kissing case with Sooyoung –it was a scandalous controversy after all! So Eun smirked without even turning back at him again.

“Just stay away from me!”, she shouted and picking up her paces to be back at her room. Kris gasped in disbelief before he bit his lips, trying to gather his patience back. Then he walked back and forth while thinking about Lee Joon and her. He couldn’t believe his own eyes when he saw the two locking their lips just now. Now he understands the pain cut through his heart when So Eun felt the same as she handled their problem before. The pain was totally equal for both of them. Kris finally groaned and climbed up the stairs too.

“Dum! Dum! Dum!”, So Eun made a disgusted face when she heard the room was knocked loudly by someone. She doesn’t have to open it; she already knew who was coming –judging from the impatient knocking on her door.

“So Eun! Open this door right now!”, Kris called out to her and So Eun snorted. She was right again about him. She thought furiously to chase him away so she grabbed a pillow and stood up to open the door. Once she stopped before it, she held up the pillow high in air. Kris will have a nice soft slap from her when she open the door later.

“What do you want, jerk???”, So Eun asked him as she pulled opened the door and intended to throw the pillow straight on his face but Kris was faster than her when he quickly seized her body inside. So Eun screamed in shock as she felt her body was pinned by Kris to the wall behind her. She growled fiercely to him.

“What do you think you’re doing??? Get your hands off me!!!”, she forced and struggled to free her body from him but Kris tightened his hands on her shoulders.

“Yes! I made a mistake! I kissed Sooyoung! And you did the same too...you kissed Lee Joon! Now that we’re equal, let’s clear this thing between us!”, Kris said to her but So Eun shook her head.

“But I don’t have anything to be clear with you! From now on, you mind your own business and I’ll handle mine! So back off!”, she refused to listen to him and tried to push his chest away but Kris pushed her harder on the wall.

“No! I AM YOUR HUSBAND! So you have to listen to me! Only me!”,Kris told her forcefully and before So Eun could open to say back, Kris had pushed his lips on hers. So Eun was once again stuck. Why is everyone treating her like a doll??? Kissing her so easily like this??? So Eun questioned herself in despair as she felt her tears cascaded down to her cheeks in slow motion. She was sad because everyone took her as a soulless person –doesn’t have feeling at all until they’re free to do anything to her. Her tears wetted Kris’s own cheeks so he slowly let her go. He was now staring at her, losing his own words as he watched So Eun was crying there. He felt her body weaken in his hands.

“Go on...do whatever you want to me...because I know, I’m not worth it!”, So Eun exclaimed to him between her sobs as she tried hard to wipe away her tears even though her hands were stuck under his grip, causing her progression to be slower than normal. Gazing at her like that, Kris felt his heart ached in pain too. So he caught her hands, preventing her from wiping her tears. So Eun glared up to him.

“I...I’m sorry...I’m so sorry...forgive me...”, he apologized to her again and again as he gently touched her cheeks and swept her tears with his fingers. Now it was So Eun’s turn to stare questioningly on Kris. She never sees such gentleness in Kris. He was always arrogant and stone-headed toward her. Kris stopped wiping her tears and he moved his hands to cup her round face. They stared deeply into each other’s eyes. They felt a strange feeling overwhelming in their hearts but both of them refused to admit it. They kept themselves silence as Kris slowly rested his forehead on So Eun’s. She froze in weirdness but she loves the weight that she felt on her when Kris was leaning like that to her.

They simultaneously closed their eyes, savoring the gentle moment between them. It was rare for them to be close like this. Only when they’re fighting for something, then only Kris and So Eun can peacefully make it up again with each other. Kris opened his eyes back and he lifted his head from her, making So Eun to snap opened her eyes too. Kris gulped down his throat. He realized that he shouldn’t do this but...his heart wanted it too. Slowly, he learned forward to her and pasted his lips with So Eun’s lips. So Eun let him too as she dropped her eyelids back. They kissed for awhile and Kris moved his hands to lock it around her waist –he pulled her closer to him. So Eun blessed it when Kris embraced her like that, she enjoyed his warmth as she held up her hands to hug his broad shoulders too. They never know each other’s feeling –it was clouded by their fake marriage but...they just wished to stay like this, forever.

Lee Yoo Bi fixed her eyes on a photo frame that she held inside her hands. It was a picture of her and Yoo Na. Yoo Bi remembered it when they went for holiday in Los Angeles, together as a complete family. They were relaxing themselves at the swimming pool that time. She was smiling cheerfully, showing the peace sign toward the camera as Yoo Na stood next to her. She hugged her little sister as Yoo Bi could clearly see that Yoo Na was smiling an equal happy grin like her too. They were grateful that they did belong to each other –as precious sisters.

Yoo Bi sighed and put down the frame on her lap. She gazed up outside the opened curtain in front of her. The moon tonight was so bright and whole. She wondered if her sister was looking at the very same moon like her in Japan. Yoo Bi sat motionless on the floor nearby the balcony. The night soft breeze blew toward her and she let washed away the pain wounded in her heart. She was disappointed with Yoo Na but she missed her too. What should she do??? How can she face her when she is back from Japan later??? Yoo Bi thought confusedly as she heard the knocking on her door.

“Yoo Bi ah...can I come in???”, Yoo Bi shrugged a bit when she heard Luhan’s voice was asking her.

“Em!”, she simply answered, rising up her tone so that he could hear her. Then she heard Luhan pulled opened the door to step inside.

“What are you doing???”, he asked her, greeting Yoo Bi with smile when she turned her head to look at him. He was walking with a small tray on his hands. Luhan stopped next to her and he kneeled down to place the tray filled with a plate of cakes and two cups of chocolate tea. She watched all of it in silence before she shifted her eyes back to Luhan. He grinned again and landed his beside her.

“Omma asked me to send you this...you never have a taste on the wedding cake since we cut it yesterday...”, Luhan said to her, pointing his finger to the orange cake. Yoo Bi sighed under her breath as she stared emptily on it. She loved the shape and original design of it. The wedding cake used to be in a big heart shape. It was covered with silver colored icing but its true flavor was orange. On top of it, there were many creamy ribbons and shining flakes decorated the cake –it was indeed looked very delicious and sweet but...it didn’t belong to Yoo Bi and Luhan. Because it used to be Luhan and Yoo Na’s wedding cake. Yoo Bi slightly curved a smile to that thought.

“Orange is never my fave...it’s unnie’s favorite...”, she told him and Luhan bit his lips in hesitation.

“But you should try some too...don’t waste it...”, he said and picked up the spoon. He took a chunck on the cake and waved the spoon toward Yoo Bi. She frowned at him –once they are married, she felt that the awkwardness rising up between them. She suddenly never sees Luhan as her brother anymore. But Luhan smiled and pushed the spoon toward .

“Come on...taste it...”, he forced her and Yoo Bi rolled her eyes. But she slowly parted and Luhan scooped the spoon into it, feeding her to eat the cake. He chuckled.

“What a baby...how is it taste???”, he as Yoo Bi shook her head.

“It’s sour...I told you, I never like orange flavor!”, she pressed to him and Luhan laughed, putting down the spoon.

“Okay...one scoope is enough...”, he surrendered and moved to hug his legs closed to his chest. He looked up toward the sky too and froze his sight on the moon. Luhan laughed.

“Wow...what a pretty view...”, he praised and pasted his eyes on it. Yoo Bi glanced to his sideway face before she followed his gazes, staring to the moon.

“Oppa...”

“Hmmm?”, Luhan turned toward her.

“Do...do you remember...that I’ve once asking you...what will happen to you if unnie leave you, right?”, Yoo Bi stumbled with her words while asking him the sensitive topic. But Luhan was acting like he was okay about it so he nodded his head after snorting.

“I do remember it...why?”, he darted his eyes back to the moon when he asked her, trying to cover the pain beneath his heart. But Yoo Bi could see it –the pain hidden by Luhan was crystal clear to her when she stared deeply into his eyes. She could easily tell it that Luhan was still hurt by the incident where Yoo Na left him high and dry like that. Yoo Bi let go of a weak sigh.

“You told me that you can’t live your life without her...then what should you do now?”, Yoo Bi braved herself to dare asking him that question. Luhan pouted as he glanced sideway toward Yoo Bi.

“Don’t you know that every romantic word is just a word??? They never come true...so you don’t have to worry about me...I’m going to be fine...”, he assured her and stretched his hand to pat her hair. Yoo Bi chuckled at him.

“But...but...you’re suddenly marrying me like this...it’s wrong, oppa...”, Yoo Bi said to him and Luhan stopped patting her head. He dropped his hands and sighed.

“Yeah, dully noted about it...but there is nothing that I can do to gain back the time...we have to move on with our life, Yoo Bi ah...”, Luhan advised her and Yoo Bi bit her lips. She still felt unease about this. Luhan smiled when he saw her uncertain face. He smirked and lightly hit her shoulder.

“Why? Don’t you trust me as your husband, Lee Yoo Bi???”, he asked her playfully and Yoo Bi peered up to him too. She was still frowning in confusion.

“You’re not supposed to be my husband...that is why I feel completely wrong about this...”, she replied and Luhan smiled even more.

“Yeah...poor me...neither of the Lee sisters want me in their life...”, he pretended to be sulked at her and Yoo Bi hastily shook her head.

“It’s not like that, oppa! I...I...I just...”, Yoo Bi tried to explain but it stopped her when Luhan suddenly pulled her into his arms. He hugged her closer to his chest, resting her head on his shoulders as he closed his eyes. Luhan nodded.

“Yeah...I know that you’re only worried about me...you’re afraid if I’m hurt...but what to do, Yoo Bi ah??? I am really hurt about this...really hurt...”, Luhan finally confessed his true feeling to Yoo Bi as he held tighter to her body, gripping her shirt until it was crumpled. Yoo Bi gulped down in sadness and she moved her hands to return his embraces. She held him inside her hands too as she patted Luhan slowly on his back.

“I’m sorry, oppa...I’m so sorry...I know that I’m only creating more trouble for you when I agreed to marry you...a real sorry from me...please forgive me...”, she whispered slowly into his neck as Yoo Bi started to shed tears again. She felt the tears flowed slowly down her cheeks as Luhan shook his head.

“No...You’re not doing anything wrong...and I hope you don’t take our marriage as something that wrong too...because I sincerely accepted it...Lee Yoo Bi is my wife...and not Lee Yoo Na...so please, stop blaming yourself...because you’re the one who saved me...thank you...”, Luhan said back to her but he felt his own eyes had gone teary right now. He closed it and they continued to cuddle each other. Luhan and Yoo Bi were both hurt by Yoo Na but they still prayed silently inside their hearts that... they can hope for some light and happiness from this mistakenly fake marriage.

“Grandpa! Here, eat some fruit...”, Go Ara offered the old man with some bananas and apples as she pushed the middle-sized basket in front of him. He smiled and took it.

“Thank you...are you really sure that you’re okay if you want to stay here until tonight?”, he asked her, slightly frowning as he studied her face. She smiled and waved her hands up to him.

“Yeah, of course I’m sure about it...let me stay here tonight to accompany you...”, she assured him and her grandpa in law curved a sheepish smile.

“Thank you...at least I know that Lay has such a good and considerate wife...”, he praised her and Ara chuckled. But then her smile was swept away from her face when he mentioned about Lay. He still doesn’t show up here to visit his grandpa and it only made Ara to keep on cursing him inside her heart. The old man shifted his eyes on her and he frowned when he saw Ara’s worried face.

“What is it, darling?”, he questioned her and Ara flinched out from her thoughts. She laughed and shook her head.

“Nothing...I just wondering whether Lay is okay at his training...”, Ara tried to give him an excuse. The old man slowly nodded his head –he missed to see his grandson too. But then he smiled and clapped his hands when he suddenly remembered something. Ara eyed him questioningly.

“What’s wrong???”, she asked and he supported his body to sit straight on the bed. Quickly, Ara got up from her seat and held the old man on his arms to help his movement. When he managed to sit properly again, he smiled and stretched his hand to pull open the drawer next to his bed. Ara watched in silence as he took out a small book or maybe a diary. He pushed the drawer closed again as he held that thing toward Ara. Ara blinked to her grandpa.

“What...what is this?”, she asked in confused and he laughed.

“Just take it...it’s a wedding present from me...though it’s quite late...”, he said and pushed the book closer to her. Ara nodded with smile.

“Thanks, grandpa...”, she bowed down to him and brought the book closer to her. Once she stared down to it, she found that it wasn’t a book but a photo album. She gazed up to him again.

“An album???”, she guessed on him and the grandpa nodded with meaningful smile.

“I just thought that maybe you should know your husband better...”, he reasoned out and Ara laughed in thrilled. She moved her hand to flip opened the album. The first picture pasted inside was a picture of a baby boy. Ara smiled upon it when she spotted the small tiny eyes from the child’s face. It looked exactly like Lay’s eyes right now –no changes at all. Her grandpa laughed along with her too.

“You know that it is Lay, right???”

“Yeah...how old is he that time?”, Ara asked in excitement as she flipped the page to the second one.

“He was only two months...”, the old man told her and Ara pouted.

“No wonder he looked so small...compare to Lay right now...tall and troublesome!”, Ara commented teasingly and they both broke into laughter.

“Yeah...he used to be a cute and obedient kid...well, I hope he still doesn’t change for now...”, he told her and Ara raised her head to peer at him. She smiled and nodded.

“I hope so too...”, she replied before their conversation was interrupted by a knocking sound on the door. Ara and the grandpa turned their heads toward that direction.

“Yes? Come in...”, Ara called out to that person and she watched the door was pulled by someone. The next thing that she saw was Lay’s figure who walked inside from the door. He paused on his feet when their eyes met before Ara blinked and looked away.

“Ah, Lay! You’re finally here! Come, come!”, they heard their grandpa called out to him so Lay darted his eyes to him and smiled. He bowed and closed the door behind him. Then he arranged his steps to stand next to his bed.

“How are you, grandpa???”, he greeted him and bent down to briefly gave him a hug. The old man laughed in happiness when he can finally saw his grandson again.

“I’m fine...how about you?”, he asked him back and Lay saluted at him.

“I’m good...”, he answered shortly and turned to look at Ara who twisted her sleeves in boredness.

“How long have you been here???”, he asked her but as Ara raised her face to answer him, his grandpa laughed and replied it ahead of her.

“She has been here since this morning...I’m thankful to your nice wife...”, he told him and both of the couple gulped down their throat. Lay cracked an uncertain smile as he bowed slowly to Ara.

“Thanks...”, he wished and Ara rolled her eyes.

“My pleasure...”, she said and stood up from her chair. She went to pick up her handbag from top of the sidetable of the bed. Then she bowed to his grandpa.

“I’m sorry...but excuse me for now...I’m going to buy some drinks for us...you guys take your time...”, she said to leave the two inside the room. The old man smiled and nodded but Lay frowned to her –he caught it the sign that she was trying to avoid him. Ara stole a quick glance to him before she sighed and resumed walking toward the door. But she suddenly stopped when they were startled by the ringing of her phone. Ara hastily took out her phone from inside her bag and picked up the call at once. Lay and his grandpa watched her from behind –they listened to her conversation.

“Hello?”, she said and she frowned when she heard her mother where laughing loudly. Ara rolled her eyes.

“Omma...don’t tell me that you’re calling me just to laugh...”, she told her mother and it earned a funny amused smiled from Lay and the old man. But her mother had stopped laughing on the line as she cleared .

“Em...ehem...Ara, darling...where are you right now???”, she asked her and Ara crossed her arms in front of her body. “I’m at the hospital...visiting Lay’s grandpa...why?”

“Oh! As expected from my generous daughter! Nice one, honey...”, her mother praised her but Ara groaned and cut her halfway.

“Seriously, what do you want to talk???”, she forced on the real matter.

“Ah...nothing...I just want to inform you that we’re in our way to visit your house...we might staying there tonight!”, Mrs. Go told her but Ara widened her eyes.

“What??!!!”, she asked her loudly, making Lay and his grandpa to both jumped in shock once they caught her loud voice. Mrs. Go also distanced the phone from her ears but she giggled and put it on back.

“Hahaha...sorry, honey...we don’t mean to interrupt the newlywed but...”, she tried to further explained to her but Ara had groaned and shut the phone at once. She bit her lips as she spun her body to the back again. Lay raised his eyebrow.

“What??? Is your mom okay???”, he asked but his eyes grew smaller when Ara suddenly came to stand in front of him.

“Let’s get home! Now!”, she pressed to him and picked up his wrist.

“What??? But...why???”, confusion was clearly drawn on his handsome face as Ara pulled him to stand up. His grandpa exchanged weird looks from Ara to Lay too as she bowed down to the old man, apologizing to him.

“I’m so sorry, grandpa! But my parents are coming here...I have to prepare the home for them...will you mind if I take Lay away???”, she said to him and their grandpa laughed. He nodded understandingly.

“No, I’m fine with it...just take your time...and send my regard to your parents...”, he reminded them and Ara winked.

“Thanks...I promise you that Lay will come here again tomorrow...you will, don’t you???”, Ara told him and she narrowed her eyes toward Lay.

“Em...yeah...sure...”, he hesitated to answer as he grinned uncertainedly. Their grandpa nodded again.

“Okay, okay...goodbye then...I’ll see you guys tomorrow...”, with that words, Ara quickly dragged Lay to leave the room. Once they were out from the hospital room, Lay tugged Ara on her sleeve to make her stopped walking and looked at him.

“Wait...I don’t understand it...why do your parents want to come here??? And why do I have to be with you while meeting them???”, he asked her dully but Ara growled and widened her eyes at him.

“Because we’re supposed to be married in front of them! So when my parents come to see me, you need to be there! If not, they will know that I’m living alone!”, she blurted out to him and Lay dropped his own jaw. He almost forgot it that they actually live separately. Ara rolled her eyes upon his blank face.

“You better close your mouth! Now let’s move to arrange the house...”, she said and resumed walking toward the elevator. Lay followed her but he was still frowning to her.

“But...why do we need to arrange the house???”, he once again was asking her absentmindedly and Ara smacked him hard on his shoulder, causing him to howl in pain.

“Yah!”, he shouted but Ara glared.

“You’re the one who being idiot here! Of course we need to arrange the house or else my parents will know that we’re not leaving together!”, she exclaimed to him and moved to enter the lift. Lay blinked, still didn’t manage to put the puzzle together but he tailed his wife dully as Ara started to make a mind calculation on how to renovate her apartment to pose like a house that belonged to a ‘married couple’.

Mrs. Lee put down a tray, filled with four cups of aromatic tea and a plate of flavorless biscuits on the coffee table. She picked up one of the cups and took a place next her husband. Mr. Lee was flipping through some pamphlets as he read the details printed on it. His wife ducked her head to take a look at it too.

“Honeymoon holiday package??? For what???”, she questioned him and Mr. Lee looked side way to his wife.

“I think we should ask…”, he started to explain but they paused looking up to the stairs. Luhan was walking down with Yoo Bi followed behind him. Both of their parents were smiling up to them.

“Come, honey…enjoy the tea…”, Mrs. Lee said as she welcomed them to sit around the couch. Luhan sat across from his parents in law while Yoo Bi kneeled down on the floor, facing the table. She didn’t make a sound as she reached out for a biscuit and took a bite on it. She chewed in silence as Mr. Lee gazed down to his daughter. Yoo Bi rarely talks to him since the wedding three days ago. She might still in blues, keeping her silence heartache hidden behind her gloomy face. Even when she was smiling, Mr. Lee could clearly see the grief in her eyes –she was faking it. The same goes with Luhan too. He smiled, joked and laughed like usual but when he was alone, Mr. Lee knew that he was still mourning over his dead love story with Yoo Na. Lastly, he sighed –as their father, he needs to do something to bring back the happiness in his family. So he cleared his throat and shifted gazes from Luhan and Yoo Bi. His son in law was sipping slowly on his tea while Yoo Bi pasted her eyes on the television –Mr. Lee himself couldn’t quite sure whether she was really paying attention on the program or her mind had flew away anywhere else.

“Em…Yoo Bi ah, Luhan ah…”, he called out to them. Instantly, the couple turned their sights to look at him.

“Yes, appa??? Anything?”, Luhan asked politely and Mr. Lee took the chance to hand the pamphlets toward him. Luhan exchanged weird looks on it and back to his dad. Yoo Bi fixed her eyes on the flyers too.

“What is it?”, she asked and resumed taking the pamphlets ahead of her husband. Mr. Lee dropped his hand when Yoo Bi had started to flip back and forth on it. She frowned and has her eyes transfixed on those flyers.

“Honeymoon packages??? What is this all about???”, she murmured to her father but Luhan had already widened his eyes once he heard she mentioned about ‘honeymoon’. As an adult, he could easily catch the meaning of the pamphlets gave by their father to them. Mr. Lee shrugged at his daughter.

“Yoo Na called us last night…”, when he told them like that, Luhan and Yoo Bi automatically raised their heads to stare up at him. Luhan gulped down his throat while Yoo Bi chewed her lips in hesitation.

“She said that, she will be back in here next week…she is staying there for awhile…having her honeymoon with her husband…”, Mr. Lee was aware that this kind of news would break Luhan’s heart for more but he has to learn on how to handle it –since he was married to Yoo Bi right now. But opposite from what Mr. Lee expected from his son in law, Luhan was curving a small understanding smile at him. Yoo Bi blinked her eyes to her husband.

“It’s good to know that she is fine…I’m glad…”, he told them as Mrs. Lee and Yoo Bi both were staring at Luhan sympathetically. He laughed to them once he saw their dull faces.

“Come on…she is my sister right now…it’s normal to feel happy for her…”, Luhan said again and Yoo Bi slightly nodded her head. She grinned and put a hand on his palm. Luhan looked down to her as they exchanged smiles with each other. Mr. Lee smiled upon seeing their affection toward each other so he resumed talking about his real attention.

“Since Yoo Na is enjoying her holiday, so I think…maybe you two should use some time to let your hair down somewhere else too…”, Mr. Lee said and it earned a frown from both Yoo Bi and Luhan.

“Pardon???”, Yoo Bi snorted to her father as Mrs. Lee laughed. She understand that her underage daughter is too young to face all of this marriage process but every married couple gone through the journey so they have no excuses to it, right?

“Your father is wondering…maybe, you guys should go for a holiday…well, you know…married couple goes for honeymoon…so how about just give it some time to choose your honeymoon destination? Omma think, it’s a best opportunity to relax yourself after all this entire problem…”, Mrs. Lee went on blabbed to them but Luhan and Yoo Bi had both losing their rational thoughts. A honeymoon??? For them??? Better not!

“Okay…where should we start now???”, Lay asked, he stood transfix in the middle of the living room. His ears caught sound of Ara, running around in her bedroom as she struggled to tidy up everything in a vampire’s moving speed. Once she was finished throwing her used clothes inside the bathroom and kicking small stuff like magazines under her bed, she ran outside toward Lay. She stopped panting in front him as she tiredly pointed to a big plastic bag that placed on the kitchen counter.

“There…we need to arrange all the things that we bought just now into their places accordingly…”, she instructed him and Lay followed her gesture. He saw the plastic bag and smiled.

“Okay! Let’s do this!”, Lay cheered and slung off his bag from around his shoulders. He threw it away on the couch as he walked entering the kitchen. Ara tailed him before they stood staring to the bag. Lay started first to grumble inside it. He took out everything that they bought from the market just now.

“Here are the couple cups…”, he said, giving the cute pink and blue colored mugs toward Ara. She took it and hastily walked to place it among the other plates and cups on the rack.

“Then…why do you buy the aprons???”, Lay asked again, holding up the Mickey and Mini cartoon aprons in front of his eyes –he stared at it in disgust. Ara rolled her own eyes as she grabbed the aprons from him.

“When we are acting, we need to do it fully with our strong hearts…so let’s do the best to not let my parents smell the true! You know my mom…she hovers around the kitchen a lot!”, she nagged to him as she moved to hang the couple aprons on a hook nearby the wall. Lay snorted but he resumed in taking out the stuff. They bought everything that related to couple –the couple toothbrushes, the couple indoor slippers and the couple shirts! Ara tossed the bigger size of shirt toward Lay as he was busied arranging the slippers on the shoes’ shelter. Lay glanced sideway to her.

“What???”, he said to her and Ara stuck out her tongue to him.

“Wear this…”, she ordered and hung the shirt on his shoulder. Ara moved back inside the living room. She eyed around, checking everything space so that it was properly arranged for her guests tonight. But when she landed her eyes on a small table, situated at corner of the wall –she gasped. Ara clapped her hands on as she felt her eyes grew wider. She just realized it that among those frames, she never has any pictures with Lay! That would invite the suspicious thought from her parents. Quickly she ran into her bedroom as Lay entered the living room once again. He was about to relax his body on the couch but Ara screamed at him.

“Lay!!! Let’s take pictures!!!”, she suggested to him and Lay froze halfway from sitting down to the sofa. He narrowed his eyes to her when she had run back into the room with a camera in her palms.

“Do we have to???”, Lay dully questioned her but Ara rolled her eyes.

“Of course! I need to change those pictures inside the frames with our photos! So now, move!”, she said and pushed Lay to sit on the couch. He stayed frozen but he gasped in disbelief when Ara suddenly knocked her body on him, she was sitting on his lap as she held up the camera higher in front of them.

“Remember to smile as happy as you can! Just pretend that we’re too in love with each other!”, she reminded him but Lay stared at her from behind her hair. He found himself felt excited with this fast and furious acting idea. Even when they were faking it all to cover their marriage but Lay enjoyed the closeness between them. So he thought maybe he didn’t have to pretend in loving her because he did feel happy to be back staying at her side. Lay laughed with low voice as he closed his arms around her waist, making Ara to freeze a bit in adjusting the camera. But Lay chuckled at her.

“What are you waiting for??? Let’s be the best actor and actress!”, he told her and Ara smirked but she resumed holding up the lens in the air to aim at their taking-photo. She grinned, making a peace sign as Lay brought his face closer to her. He pasted his cheek next to hers as the camera snapped their picture together. Once they’re finished, Lay and Ara checked on that photo. They smiled sheepishly when they stared at their too close picture.

“Em…another one take, maybe?”, Lay told her and Ara hesitated to nod her head.

“Yeah…let’s take it before I print it out…”, she agreed and they shifted position. They were now standing at the balcony as Lay stood hugging Ara from behind and they took the picture. Then another and another with multi-poses as they enjoyed each other’s company. That was when Ara realized that the curtain hung on the balcony was slightly torn off from its hook. She frowned up to it as Lay moved to print those pictures taken just now. He set up the camera on the stander and connected the wires straight to the computer. Ara tried to jump, wanted to fix the curtain but she wasn’t that take to successfully reach it. So she hissed and turned toward Lay.

“Yah! Come and help me with this…”, she commanded him and Lay slightly looked at her from over his shoulder.

“What??? I want to print this…”, he said but Ara clicked her tongue and walked over to him.

“Come on…if omma see this, she will be mad at me…because she bought the curtain when I first moved in here…so I promised to take a good care of it…help me to hook back the curtain…”, she explained to him and Lay shook his head in mental rejection. But he stood up again and dragged a chair to stop in front of the curtain. He climbed up on it.

“Which part do I need to fix??? This one???”, he pointed on the rail of the curtain but Ara had changed her attention to the camera. She clicked here and there to import the pictures into the computer. Lay turned to her and he groaned.

“Yah! Look at me!”, he exclaimed to her and Ara clutched her heart, she was shock when he startled her like that. She hissed in dissatisfaction.

“Okay, okay! Just try to fix the torn one…no need to bother the rest…at least I can still cover the other part with the pin…”, she explained to him and came to point on the direction where Lay should put the curtain back to its right position.

“Here???”, Lay asked too and they kept on blabbering to each other, arguing about how to correct the curtain again. Lay and Ara were too busy in paying their attention until they never hear the low beeping sound from the camera.

“Maybe we should hang it like this…”

“No! I told you like that! So do it as I said!”, they kept on ordering each other until Lay never realize that he had came to stand at the edge of the chair.

“But I think…”, he was about to open his mouth again but he lost his balance instantly.

“Ah…ah…ah!”, Lay tried to grab hold of the curtain next to him but he was too late as he stumbled down from the chair. Ara watched him in surprise but she didn’t manage to save him or move away because Lay had already bumped down to her.

“Ouch!!!”, they yelled in pain together and landed their bodies straight on the couch behind them –luckily it was a soft couch, not some kind of the hard floor or anything else. Lay tried to get up from Ara as he heard her growling in pain but he stumbled in balancing his body again so…he ended up landed his lips on hers! They blinked confusedly together as they heard the camera clicked its flash toward them.

“Click!”, and followed by the sound of the bell ringing outside the door.

“Ding dong! Ding dong!”

“Ara!!! Lay!!! We are here!!!”, the couple hastily freed themselves from each other when they heard Mrs. Go and Mr. Go cheered for them. Lay bit his lips, still dazed by their sudden kiss as Ara cursed in her heart and she fanned her blushing face with her palm.

“Well…they’re here…we should invite them in…”, Lay told her and Ara slowly nodded her head.

“Yeah…but, first…the couple shirts…”, she reminded him and they parted to change into that outfit instead. Lay was cursing inside the guest bathroom while Ara was nagging in her bedroom. They were too deep in confusion because of their accidently kissing scene just now. Once they were ready, Ara and Lay came to stand in front of the house’s main door. They stood frozen for a minute as their parents kept on shouting for their names.

“Well…are you ready?”, he asked her. Ara bit her lips and gulped down but she nodded at last.

“Just act normal…”, she advised him and Lay nodded in agreement too.

“Alright…”, he said, circling one hand around Ara’s shoulders before he stretched his other hand to unlock the door.

“Welcome to our home...”, they were about to start the greeting but Mrs. Go and Mr. Go had first came bursting into the doorway.

“Congratulation on your wedding!!! Here are the honeymoon tickets!!!”, they cheered louder than the couple as they stopped in front of them to throw the tickets toward the newlywed. Lay and Ara watched the tickets dropped down to the floor as they made no effort to catch it –they were to surprise about the news. Mrs. Go pouted at them.

“Watch your manner, kids…when the elders are giving something for you, you should accept it politely…”, she advised to them but Ara blinked her eyes on her. Lay also had moved his hand around Ara’s shoulder as he bent down to pick up the tickets back. He frowned down to it as he heard Ara chuckled beside him.

“Are you guys kidding me??? Coming all the way here only to give us the honeymoon tickets???”, she rolled her eyes toward her parents when she was asking them but Mr. Go nodded confidently to his daughter.

“Yeah! We want you to go for a honeymoon…because your mom and I grow older each day…so we hope to enjoy the remaining time of our life with our grandchild…the fastest way to get it is for you two…to go for the honeymoon and working on the babies project!”, he explained to them open-mindedly but Ara and Lay dropped their jaws in disbelief toward their parents. They wished for them to go for the honeymoon and…have a baby??? No way!!!

“Master…your son and his wife are here…”, Mr. Wu put down the cup held in his hand when he heard the maid told him. He nodded to her, indicated for her to invite them inside. Mr. Wu continued to read the newspaper until he heard a cheerful greeting from a girl’s voice to all the maids. Judging from the friendliness, he could detect it that the greeting came from his daughter in law –Kim So Eun. Mr. Wu tilted his head with a smile toward the doorway as he waited for So Eun and Kris to come in from there. A couple of minutes past them and his son finally appeared, followed by So Eun who tiptoeing on her feet as she walked tailing him. Mr. Wu couldn’t resist his amuse feeling when he watched So Eun’s cute attitude so he just went on laughing alone. Kris and So Eun came to stop beside him as So Eun winked at her father in law.

“Hello, appa! What is so funny???”, she asked him and Mr. Wu held on his laughter to start talking.

“You…you’re the one who funny, So Eun ah…”, he answered her, making So Eun to blink her eyes questioningly as Kris hid his own smile too. Then he cleared his throat.

“Em, appa…you said that you have something to discuss with us about the business plan…so can we start now???”, Kris immediately put on his formal tone again, heading straight to the real reason why they gathered here this night. Mr. Wu nodded and motioned the couple to sit with him around the table. Kris and So Eun bowed as they pulled the chairs to land their butts next to each other. Once they sat, the maids came to offer them two cups of black coffee as Mr. Wu pushed a file toward his son on the table.

“Take this…I need your help to handle it…”, he ordered them and Kris moved to check on the file. So Eun chose to stay silence, watching her husband reading the document but then Mr. Wu changed his sight toward her.

“So Eun ah…you’re used to plan the big occasion, right???”, he asked for her confirmation as So Eun laughed, she waved her hand to object it.

“Nah…not all of them are big occasion…mostly are wedding…well, I’m a wedding planner after all…”, she answered him and Kris put down the file on the table again. He glanced sideway to Mr. Wu.

“You want me to attend the opening ceremony at our new branch???”, he guessed to his father and Mr. Wu nodded.

“Yeah…and I need a help from So Eun too…since she used in planning the formal occasion…”, their father said but So Eun hastily shook her head.

“No, appa…I don’t think I can do it…maybe I did use to handle the wedding but not for any other ceremony…especially a big formal party like this…plus, I guess your new branch will be outside the country, right??? That means many foreigners will attend it…I can’t make you feel embarrass about it…”, So Eun reasoned out in modesty to him but Mr. Wu shook his head, refused to accept her reason to object his idea.

“But I don’t feel that way…because I’m proud of you as my daughter in law…and I want the worldwide to know your talent as a wedding planner…So Eun ah…be universal…stop aiming in only one direction…you’re young and can grab many more opportunities…so don’t just waste it by planning the wedding only…have some faith to yourself and plan the other occasion too…”, Mr. Wu encouraged her as Kris slowly nodded his head. He would definitely agree to it if the offer is beneficial to his wife. So Kris turned to look at the uncertain So Eun. She grinned sheepishly at him but she never opens to comment on the matter. Kris raised his eyebrow sarcastically.

“So??? What do you think??? Wanna work with me???”, he asked her and So Eun gulped down . It would be wonderful to go aboard and working on the same project with Kris but…

“Don’t worry…Kris will be there to help you too, So Eun ah…plus, I’m also thinking about sending you two for honeymoon after the project is done…”, Mr. Wu added before So Eun could give any reply to him. Hearing his words like that making both of So Eun and Kris to hastily tilted their heads toward Mr. Wu. They stared in panic on the old man. What did he just say??? Did he mention anything about…honeymoon??? So Eun and Kris thought dully as Mr. Wu pushed another thing toward them. They were hesitated to look at it and when they did, they found themselves pasted their eyes on things called…tickets.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Kris drove his car to wander around the busy night city of Seoul. He never decides to where his destination will be because he just wanted to take a ride, enjoying the night breeze. He boldly excused himself from So Eun and his father just now at home because he was too shock with his current married life. As expected, being someone’s husband was way too burdensome for him. And Kris lately found that it was hard to control his affection toward So Eun. The other day, he kissed her. He never know the real reason why he kissed her until today but he was grateful too that So Eun wasn’t get angry to him because of it. Nonetheless, she seems to enjoy it. Now, he was forced by his own father to go for a honeymoon with her. He even booked them the tickets! Kris cursed under his breath as he stepped on the break, stopping his car at the traffic light. He stared blankly to the traffic around him as he gripped tighter on the steering, desperate to find an approximate answer to be given to his father when he get home later.

As his mind wondered around, another man came to stop at the side road. Luhan pushed on the button to cross the pedestrians’ road crosser. He stood motionless, keeping his hands in his pockets as he waited for the cars to stop moving and he could finally cross over the road. He sighed, thinking about the plan that suggested by his parents in law to bring Yoo Bi out from the country for the meantime. He would love too but isn’t it will be too awkward for he and Yoo Bi to just staying at the holiday together??? Luhan rubbed his neck in confusion as he raised his head, staring ahead to across of the road. That was when he saw another boy, walking alone along the street. He too –was looking confused on his expressionless face.

Lay stopped on his feet as he threw his sight far toward the busy traffic beside him. He thought it over and over again during his two hours wondering with no direction around the city but yet, he never find any answer to the question played inside his mind. The boys shook their heads in frustration. The traffic light changed from the red to the green light, signaling to them that they can finally continue their journey. It was like portraying their married life –the green lights is there but are they brave enough to take the steps in their life journey as married couples??? They sighed and thought simultaneously –should they actually take their brides to the honeymoon???

But it was cruel you know so eun had to divorce him that way..if I was so eun I guess I will never forgive anyone esp who suggested that idea..hahhah but thanks I had wonderful time reading :D
