Chapter 30 - "As long as you love me..."

The Wedding Planners

THE WEDDING PLANNERS

(A/N): LOL. I'm writing this in a bus inside my tablet now...hahahaha...though I said I'll be on hiatus but I decided to post another long chapter for all of you...so do enjoy it!!! And owh...warning, this chapter contained too many bed scenes but still, none of them are overly rated so keep your heart steady and accept the fact that they are married couples...kekekeke...anyway, thanks!!!

Luhan stirred in his sleep. He stretched his hands up to his head but still refused to open his eyes. Unknowingly, he felt extraordinarily blissful this morning – like he had been dreaming of something beautiful last night. He rolled over on the bed before he accidentally bumped with something.

“Ouch! Oppa!” Luhan jerked open his eyes when he heard the yelp of a girl’s voice. Wait. He blinked his eyes, staring dully on the ceiling above. He knew that voice, the voice that belonged to his wife – Yoo Bi’s voice.

Luhan slowly tilted his head around to check on her. He was right; there she was lying exactly next to him. The blanket covered her body right up until her neck but when she yawned and rolled over to face her back on him, Luhan instantly widened his eyes. She was ! No, Luhan was staring on her fair and clean bare skin of her back body! Why she was sleeping without any shirt??? He thought absentmindedly and flipped over the blanket to check on his body. Gosh!!! He was shirtless too!!!

“Ah!!!” Luhan automatically screamed and he sat up straight. As he had his movement so fast, he felt his head gone dizzy. Wait, did he drink any alcohol yesterday??? Luhan thought as he massaged his forehead but he can’t seem to recall anything. But wait! What was happening last night??? Between him and Yoo Bi??? Just when that question strike again inside his mind, he heard Yoo Bi was talking.

“Oh, oppa...good morning...” Yoo Bi was yawning lazily again before she sat up next to him. She pulled the blanket higher to cover her body but of course, her bare shoulders were exposed to him. Luhan slowly tried to steal a glance at her from the corner of his eyes and he saw Yoo Bi was smiling sheepishly. Judging from her sudden rosy cheeks, Luhan knew that something did happen to them last night. He was and she was the same, the fact was crystal clear to them right???

But Luhan sighed under his breath and shook his head. What had he done to this girl??? They shouldn’t be doing this! This just wasn’t a right time for that kind of relation even though they were legally a married couple. She was too young for this. What if Yoo Bi gets pregnant??? She still needs to focus on her studies!!! Luhan bit his lips in worried and anger when he felt Yoo Bi’s cold fingertips were brushing on his right arm.

“Oppa...what’s wrong with you???” she already leaned forward to him, reading his expression as Luhan prevented his eyes from staring too much on that y sight of her. He looked away, avoiding her eyes. Luhan cleared his throat.

“What....what was happening...last night???” he felt stupid for asking it out loud but he can’t help to seek for confirmation especially from her. Luhan was sure that she was more conscious than him yesterday. Yoo Bi frowned when that kind of question was shot to her. She laughed shyly a bit, shaking her head.

“Oppa, you really don’t want me to say it out loud, right???” she bit her lips, feeling embarrassed when she was asked to declare her own first night with him. Luhan took a deep breath and braved himself to dare looking straight at her. Once Luhan gazed sharply on Yoo Bi, she blinked her eyes awkwardly and pulled the blanket higher to her shoulders. “I bet...you don’t remember anything, do you???”

Luhan shook his head, “I don’t...really...I’m sorry but no matter what had happened last night, it wasn’t right for us...”

“Huh??? What do you mean??? You thought of it as a mistake??? Was it a mistake to touch me???” Yoo Bi snapped, raising her voice once she heard him saying like that. She looked at him in disbelief while Luhan shook his head aggressively. He turned his body on the bed to face her.

“No! It’s not what I meant...I mean, you’re still young...you...you can’t have this kind of relation yet...it would be troublesome if you get pregnant...” he tried to tell her the rationality behind their action last night but Yoo Bi glared to him.

“And what if I did??? If I really get pregnant later, is that mean you don’t want that baby??? Just because I’m young, you think I can’t take care of our child??? How dare you, oppa!!!” she grabbed a pillow from behind her and threw it straight to his face. Luhan tried to catch it but he was too shock by her action. Yoo Bi hissed loudly and she gathered the blanket to wrap around her body. Then she pushed her body out from the bed to stand up.

“Yoo Bi, wait! You can’t accuse me like that! Of course, I would love to have a child with you...not only one but many of them! But still, I don’t expect it to happen this fast and...I don’t really plan...urgh! I mean, look at you! You’re still a student!” Luhan removed the pillow down from his face as Yoo Bi had already walked over towards the bathroom. She stopped, biting her lips in anger as Luhan watched her from behind.

“So what??!! There are so many girls out there that are having while they are still underage kids! What’s so different about me then??? You can classify me as a very pure lady for having my first time with my own husband! But right now, he regretted it after sleeping with me! I’m feeling so dirty, oppa! You jerk!!!” Yoo Bi turned around and growled at him again but Luhan instantly shook his head.

“No! Lee Yoo Bi, you’re totally wrong about it! I’ve never feeling regret over it!” Luhan jumped out from the bed as he ran toward her. Yoo Bi had already entered the bathroom, feeling useless to continue the argument. But as she was about to slam the door close, Luhan appeared there and blocked the door by his arm. They stood staring to each other before Yoo Bi shot him another unsatisfied glare.

“Yoo Bi, please...listen to me...” Luhan moved his hands to hold her shoulders, his voice sounded calmer and slower now. Yoo Bi tried to push his hands away but he gripped tighter on her, causing her to groan.

“You don’t know how happy I am this morning...” he started but Yoo Bi cut him off “Liar!”

“No, wait! Just listen to me...haish...” he shook his head weakly and sighed. After taking another deep breath, then only he looked up again to her.

“I’m sorry about last night...it’s not that I’m regret but I’m sorry that our first time was when I’m drunk...I mean, you must think that I’m a useless husband...”

“You are...” she cut him again and Luhan clicked his tongue. “Lee Yoo Bi, can you please just listen to me first???”

Yoo Bi snorted and pushed his hands off from her. “I don’t think I need your explanation...after you blamed me about Min Hyuk sshi, you get yourself drunk and then dragged me to do that with you! I thought we could be happy again! But look, what happen this morning??? You said that it wasn’t right for us! I’m your legal wife, oppa! No couple in their right mind that are thinking of it as a mistake! Since you hated it so much, why don’t you stop yourself last night??? Why don’t you prevent that thing from happen??? Why??? Because you were drunk and a drunk man can’t be blame??? Bull!!! Now, go away!!!” she scolded him in a very fast mode, hard enough for Luhan to catch up with her words before Yoo Bi pushed his body out of the door.

“Yoo...Yoo Bi!” he tried to call out but the door already bang loudly on his face. Luhan cursed under his breath as he let go of a long sigh. He rubbed his face with his palms and decided to wait for her until she finished taking her bath.

Luhan walked over to the bed again and sat there. He closed his eyes, trying hard to recall everything that happened last night. Yeah, she was right. It was him that got upset to her about Min Hyuk sshi. He saw the two were hugging each other so he was mad at them. He got back to this hotel and ended up drinking a little too much of beer. That was when Yoo Bi came, they had a fight and they did it – making love together. Luhan bit his lips and shook his head slowly.

“What are doing you, Luhan ah??? You idiot!!!” he ruffled his hair as he covered his face inside his palms. No wonder Yoo Bi was so mad at him. He was the one that triggered all of this to happen and just now, he said those unnecessary words to her. Okay, now he needed a different approach to beg for her forgiveness again.

“Yes...I’ve arrange the venue...you want it to be held in a hotel, right???” Ara was speaking to her customer when her officemate came inside their office. She waved towards her.

“Yah, Ara sshi...someone is looking for you at the lobby...go on...” she informed her as Ara frowned. But she nodded to her and continued talking to the phone.

“Okay...I’ll call you back later??? Alright...thanks!” she put down the phone and tilted her head back to her friend. “Em...sorry but...what did you say just now???”

“There’s a young man looking for you...he looks like a delivery boy...maybe he’s here to send something to you...” her friend guessed to her while Ara blinked.

“That’s funny...I don’t remember ordering anything...” she commented, chuckling a bit and stood up to go down there.

As soon as Ara arrived at the main lobby, she spotted a young man dressed in a blue colored uniform was standing there. He looked around and spotted her. They bowed to each other.

“Hi...Go Ara sshi???” he pointed his finger politely to her and Ara smiled, nodding her head. “Yes, I am...is there anything that I can help you???”

“No...I’m only here to make a delivery...someone had sent you some stuff...” he replied her and Ara frowned.

“Stuff??? What is it??? Em...and who is that someone???” Ara asked but the man shook his head.

“Sorry, miss...but I’m not very sure who the sender is...we just accept the order to deliver those things to you...” he explained to her while Ara gave him a nod. She felt worried and anxious to accept it but then she finally nodded again.

“Okay...send them in...” she agreed while the man excused himself to get the things inside. Ara stood waited there, crossing her hands and yawning lazily. But the second after, her eyes grew wider when she saw for about five men were walking inside the building.

“Eh??? I thought...I thought...you’re alone...” she told the man earlier but he smiled.

“No, miss...there are about 100 bouquets of roses to be sent here for you...” Ara gasped in disbelief when he informed her. 100 BOUQUETS??? From who??? She thought dully but Ara can’t seem to talk again when she just watched absentmindedly as those men were walking in and out of the lobby. Their hands were full with baskets of roses. They put them on the floor, arranging the multi-colored roses until they were circling Ara at the center of it. She eyed those flowers with confusion totally drawn on her face. People walking around the lobby were all glancing around to her. The girls watched her in envy while they were whispering to each other, wondering why Ara would be so lucky to receive such a big and many presents at once! At last, the man earlier put down the last bouquet and he looked up to Ara again.

“That’s all, miss...” he told her. Ara tried to say something, finding a word to reply him but she was so lost in shock and surprise. She simply nodded robotically to him and the man grinned. He pulled out a small envelope before he handed it towards her.

“This is the last thing for you and please sign here...” he instructed her again. Ara followed in silence as she signed on the paper and held the pink envelope inside her hand. She blinked her eyes in confusion to it before the man called her again.

“Em...Go Ara sshi, happy birthday!” he wished her, bowing down to Ara as his other four members were wishing Ara with her birthday wishes too. Ara finally realized it and she nodded with broad smile.

“Ah...I totally forgot about it...it’s today...thank you for your hardwork by the way...have a nice day!” she waved back to them as those men walked leaving the lobby. As soon as they disappeared, Ara clicked her tongue and looked down again on those roses.

“It’s pretty but such a waste! Who is the devil that sent them here in my office??? They should’ve sent them at my home instead!” she complained, flipping the envelope to check inside it. Once she opened it and pulled out the paper, Ara fixed her eyes there to read it. It was a short letter.

To my dearest Ara,

Happy birthday, darling! Here are the 100 bouquet of roses for you as a symbol that my love will last even after 100 years. Please stay together with me. I love you.

From: Cho Kyuhyun

Ara bit her lips in disbelief as she kept the letter back inside its envelope. She put her hands on her hips and glared on those roses. They were beautiful and his action was sweet enough but unfortunately, she just can’t accept all of this surprise! She simply can’t! As Ara sighed and closed her eyes tiredly, a man came approaching her from behind.

“So...do you like my gifts???” Ara looked over her shoulder to Kyuhyun when he asked her. He stood there and bent down his body to sniff on the aromatic flowers. Ara looked away and took a deep breath, trying hard to control her temper so that she won’t be shouting at this ridiculous prince. She finally shook her head and spun her body around towards him.

“I appreciate it, Kyuhyun sshi...but this is simply too much...I’ve never receive such an extravagant present and surprise for my birthday...I’m glad that you remembered it but...it’s awkward since...this is my first time receiving flowers from someone...” she tried to tell him that she won’t be accepting all of this but Kyuhyun smiled to her.

“It’s my pleasure to be the first man that gave you this...”, he replied and pointed out his finger on one of the bouquets down there. Ara forced herself to curve up a smile but she felt totally wrong about it. She ended up furrowing her brows while crumpling on the letter that he sent to her. She should just reject this. She can’t make another mistake towards her husband. As Lay came inside her mind, suddenly another delivery boy walked into the lobby.

“Excuse me, miss???” he greeted her. Ara and Kyuhyun spontaneously turned sideway to look at him. He smiled and bowed down to them.

“Yes...what can I help you???” she asked him the same question that she asked the delivery boy earlier. But this time, the boy smiled and showed her a paper pasted on his clip board.

“May I know where can I find this Go Ara sshi??? I need to deliver something to her...” he told her while Ara sighed loudly, shaking her head.

“Not again...” she mumbled lazily while Kyuhyun titled his head to check on the boy.

“What is it???” he just started to ask but Ara instantly shook her head and lit up a huge grin towards the delivery boy.

“No, it’s mine! Where should I sign???” she shot the boy a question and he frowned to her. “Are you Go Ara sshi then???”

“Yes, I am! Just give the thing to me!” she rushed him and he frankly nodded. He handed her the paper to be signed and pulled out a small box, wrapped in flowery paper.

“Sign here, miss...” Ara held her eyes curiously on the box but she scratched her small sign there and handed the boy with that paper back. He put down the box on her waiting palm before he bowed down to her and excused himself away.

“Another birthday present???” Kyuhyun was chuckling when he commented to her. Ara stole a quick glance to him before she sighed and looked back on the box.

“I don’t know...” she shook her head while her hands started to tear apart the flowery wrapper outside of it. Once she got the box without its cover, she gasped. She remembered this grey colored box. It was the jewelry box that used to belong with Lay’s parents before they were dead. But...did Lay was the one that send them here to her now??? She thought furiously again before her hand slowly pulled open the box. As expected, her sight was filled with that silver necklace kept inside it. The heart shaped locket was glittering under the light as Ara slowly caressed her fingertips on it. Her lips slowly curved up a soft smile. She was touched when she knew the meaning behind this present.

Ara saw a small piece of paper stuck behind the locket so she pulled it out. She immediately flipped it open and read the simple but meaningful words written there. She knew this handwriting, it was Lay.

Dear Ara,

On your special birthday today, please do remember that you’re the most important and loveable person to me in my life. I love you and my feeling will always stay like that. Keep this necklace close to you so that you’ll always know that...you’re the right girl for me, my loveliest wife. Always.

-Lay

Ara felt her eyes gone warmer when she finished reading it. She laughed alone and she hugged the box closer to her chest. She was extremely glad and touched by his action. She never expected it for Lay to remember her birthday. She thought that he had already forgotten everything about her. But he didn’t – he gave her the necklace that used to be the love symbol of his parents. Lay was trying to make her see that deep in his heart, he was more than sure that Ara was the wife that he loved the most. A happy tear escaped from her eye and Ara wiped it.

Kyuhyun watched her from behind. He frowned in worried when he saw the bright smile on her face. He knew that Ara just received a very special and meaningful present from no other but her husband, Lay. Kyuhyun felt defeated again, cursing under his breath.

One hundred bouquets of roses were nothing compared to this old necklace. Yes, it was old but it kept an ancient history of a pure love story between Lay’s parents and now, it was cherished between Lay and her. She was happy because it was more than enough for her.

So Eun patted the little baby inside her arms. She smiled upon watching Eunhyuk stirred in his sleep but that boy easily drifted back into his peaceful dreamland. She signed, she envied him. It was really easy to be a baby. He didn’t need to care about anything that happened around him. As she had her attention full on him, then she heard the voices came from inside the television. So Eun looked up from Eunhyuk to the screen.

“Mr. Wu, please explain to us...I’m sure that the public is wondering whether you’re marrying Miss Choi because of the company or because you really love her??? And can you please tell us, why do you decide to let go of your first marriage???” So Eun was watching through the TV at the live press conference held by the Wu Trading and Choi Enterprise.

They were announcing the soon-to-be-held wedding of Kris and Sooyoung alongside with the cooperation between the two companies. The conference took place inside a hotel and So Eun was there too. Mr. Wu and his wife asked her to come here and waited until the conference ended because they wanted to give something for So Eun – a thank you present for allowing Kris to marry with Sooyoung. So Eun gulped down , of course she never hopes for any appreciation from them. Her heart had already wounded so bad for now.

She thought in sorrow before she darted her eyes back to the screen. The cameras were now keeping their focus on Kris. They were waiting for his answer as he sat straight facing them. So Eun felt her heart was aching so badly as she stared on his expressionless face. She understood his agony; it must be hard for him too. Sooyoung was sitting next to him. She glanced sideway when Kris chose to shut his mouth.

Actually, he was in the middle of deep thinking right now. When that question was asked to him, his mind drifted back to So Eun. He thought about each and every memory that they shared together all along in their marriage. He still didn’t believe it that they were going to end everything a little too simple like this. But...he already signed the divorce certificate so there was no turning back for them anymore, right??? He slowly sighed and looked up again towards the presses – his face looked serious.

“I’ve known Sooyoung sshi since we were kids...of course, our marriage isn’t just for the sake of our companies...” he lied but he felt his heart was bleeding at his own words. Kris took a short breath for a minute before he added,

“As for my first marriage...I took it as an experience for a life time...I just want everybody to know that...I’m doing this to protect her...if I keep her by my side, I know that it will be too selfish...she is the one that will end up being hurt again...I can’t afford to hurt her anymore...so I decided to let her go...” the reporters were all exchanging questioning looks among them when they heard his explanation. Kris hid his face down to his lap while Sooyoung was watching in silence from his side. She knew the meaning behind his words. He only agreed with their marriage only for the sake of So Eun. He loved her so much that he can’t no longer keep So Eun as his wife. If he did, they all knew that So Eun was the one that will be hurt the most.

The TV’s screen became blurrier through So Eun’s eyes as she realized that she was crying again upon listening to him. She understood his meaning but there was nothing that she could do to turn back the time. Her time with Kris had already ended now. They needed to start following their own path in their individual’s life. So Eun hastily wiped away her tears when the door of the hotel room was opened by someone. So Eun tilted her head towards it and she spotted Kris’s parents were walking inside. Clara and Si Hoo tailed behind them.

“They will end their conference soon enough after this...” Mr. Wu told So Eun as he approached her at the couch. She smiled plainly to him and nodded.

“What do you want to give me, appa???” So Eun bit her lips when she heard that she accidentally called him ‘appa’. It was wrong, Mr. Wu was no longer her father in law now. She shortly shook her head and looked down to Eunhyuk but Mr. Wu sighed and patted So Eun on her shoulder.

“No worries, dear...you can stay calling me like that...” he told her and So Eun curved up an apologetic smile. As they were about to start talking again, they heard someone knocked on the door. The second later, Kris showed up together with Sooyoung inside the room. They both bowed down towards Mr. Wu and Mrs. Wu before Sooyoung went to take her son back.

“Thanks for looking after Eunhyuk for a while...” she smiled to So Eun as So Eun slipped her baby into her arms. So Eun shook her head and tapped Eunhyuk on his tiny cheek.

“It’s my pleasure...” she replied her and stole a quick glance to Kris. From the corner of her eyes, she knew that Kris was staring intensely on her too but she ignored him and looked back to Mr. Wu. So Eun cleared . “Can we proceed???”

“Yeah...here is the thing that I actually wanted to give it to you...” Mr. Wu gave her a nod before he pulled out something from inside his coat. As he handed two piles of paper towards So Eun, Kris narrowed his eyes on it. He watched absentmindedly as So Eun took it inside her hands and had a better look on those things. It was actually flight tickets. So Eun gazed up again towards Mr. Wu.

“What is this for???” she shoved the tickets back to him while Kris changed his curious eyes to his father. Mr. Wu kept his hands inside his pockets before he spoke.

“We decided to send you aboard, So Eun ah...since right now the public had aware of your divorce with Kris so I bet the press won’t stop chasing after you...even after we held the press conference, I’m sure that the reporters are all will be looking for you and seek for any further information from you...” he explained but Kris hissed out loud. They all turned to look at him.

“Stop ordering So Eun about her life, appa! She already agreed to our plan...so now can you just let her go on with her life freely??? Why do you need to send her away???” Kris started to complain on behalf of her but he stopped when So Eun shot him a glare. She signaled for him to shut up before she looked back to Mr. Wu.

“So...I’m going to live aboard??? Out from Korea???” she asked for confirmation from him and Mr. Wu nodded.

“Yes...because I guess a new environment is better for you to start your new life...” he reasoned out to her and So Eun fell silent. She shifted her eyes down on those tickets. It was quite a good idea for her to escape and calm herself from this mad world. Maybe, it was a good opportunity for her to forget about Kris and starts her new life – a life without Kris in it. But, wait. There was something wrong about it because there were two of them – the tickets. Another one was for whom??? As that question popped inside her mind, Kris already pointed it out.

“Where are you sending her, appa???” Kris walked closer to So Eun and grabbed the tickets away from her hands. She clicked her tongue to him, trying to pull the tickets back to her but Kris already furrowed upon reading it.

“Canada??? You’re sending her alone there??? That’s impossible, appa! She can’t survive there!” Kris snapped loudly to Mr. Wu but So Eun groaned. Kris turned to look at her with dissatisfaction on his face.

“You don’t have to care for me anymore...I’m no longer your wife...and I can take care of myself even if I’m alone! Now give me that!” So Eun told him angrily before she snatched the tickets back from him. Kris tried to open his mouth again but Mr. Wu held up his palm towards them, asking them to stop arguing.

“Okay, calm down...Kris, you don’t have to worry about it...of course I’m not planning for So Eun to go there alone...don’t you see it there??? I bought the tickets double...it means, Si Hoo will come along too...” Kris narrowed his eyes in surprise when he heard the old man. Before he managed to go against it, Si Hoo had already nodded his head and walked to stand beside So Eun. Kris watched in pain as he suddenly reached out his hand to pick So Eun’s hand inside his. He entwined them together and glanced around to Mr. Wu.

“Don’t worry, sir...I’ll do my best to look after So Eun sshi...I’ll forever be by her side to protect her...as her bodyguard...” Si Hoo said as he looked down sideway to So Eun. So Eun peered up to him too before they exchanged meaningful smile together. Mr. Wu and Mrs. Wu nodded in relief.

“It’s good to know that...” Mrs. Wu commented but Kris stubbornly shook his head. “No!”

He suddenly shouted as everyone turned looking at him in shock. He ignored them and walked straight to So Eun.

“You, come with me!” he commanded her. Without waiting for her to speak, Kris already grabbed So Eun by her hand that was still holding on to Si Hoo. He tore their hands apart and dragged So Eun out from the hotel room. His family watched them in confusion as Sooyoung sighed. She kept her eyes back on Eunhyuk when she heard the door was slammed close by Kris as he disappeared outside with So Eun. She knew that Kris was acting furious because he never expect for So Eun to leave him so far.

“Kris, stop! Where are you taking me???” So Eun jerked her hand off from Kris when they already reached the corridor outside the room. Kris stopped walking too as he let out a long, despair sigh. He shook his head, taking a deep breath to calm his feeling before he spun around to face her. So Eun was leaning against the wall next to them as she frowned up to him.

“Why are we here???” she started but Kris cut her off. “Are you going to agree with the plan??? Are you really going to leave Korea???”

So Eun could only sigh on his questions. Honestly, she didn’t know anything about it. But she knew that she might losing her mind if she stayed in Korea and watched all the wedding celebrations of Kris with Sooyoung. Then maybe, leaving this country was a good option. Bluntly, she nodded her head.

“Yeah...that’s the best...” she answered him truthfully while Kris bit his lips. He didn’t know what will happen to him if he really needs to watch her go away. He could still handle it after they were divorced because at least he knew that he could visit So Eun as a friend whenever he missed her but if So Eun was living aboard, that kind of thing won’t be happening. Kris wouldn’t stand a chance to see So Eun again. They will be separated for real now because she wasn’t just vanish from his life but also from his sight.

Watching him being silent, So Eun decided to walk away. She sighed slowly under her breath before she stood straight again on her feet and turned her body around to leave. As soon as Kris saw her started to move, he pulled her wrist and stopped her. Kris spun her back to him and trapped So Eun inside his arms from behind. He hugged her closer to his chest as So Eun widened her eyes and tried to push his hands away.

“Yah! Stop being reckless! Let me go!” she scolded him but the stronger she pushed him, the tighter Kris locked his arms around her waist. He closed his eyes and pasted his face on her hair, inhaling her sweet scent that could calm his heart now. Kris swallowed hard.

“So Eun ah...please...don’t do this to me anymore...I’ve done everything for us...you wanted us to get divorce...yes, we did already...and now you wanted me to send you away to Canada??? That’s very far, So Eun ah...I beg you...don’t go...” So Eun felt her heart was shattering into millions of pieces again upon listening to his weak pleading voice. She had never watched Kris was so weak like this. Her decision to go away must be killing him for real now.

So Eun slowly unlocked his arms around her waist and she tilted her head around to look up at him. As she stared on his face, Kris revealed his pale look to her. They looked deeply into each other’s eyes for a while before So Eun fully face her body to him and pulled Kris inside her embrace.

Kris returned her hug equally to as he crumpled his hands on her shirt and rested his head on her small shoulder, hiding his disappointed face inside her neck. So Eun wrapped her arms around his broad shoulders as she patted her hand on his back, gently consoling him.

“Kris...you need to accept this no matter how hard it is...be strong...I know you can do this...you’ll be marrying Sooyoung after this so it means, your responsibility will fully be on her...you can’t remember anything about us anymore...please forget me, okay???” she whispered to him, holding back her tears as she felt Kris was her softly on her hair.

“I don’t know, So Eun ah...I don’t think I can take this anymore...” he whispered slowly to her again while So Eun pretended to chuckle.

“Silly...C’mon, Kris Wu! Such a big man with height over 180, surely you can endure anything...fighting!!!” she cheered for him, giving Kris a smack on his back. They laughed together but continued to held on each other. As they were hugging, a pair of eyes was watching them from the end of the corridor. Sooyoung bit her lips as she felt really guilty and pity towards them. She knew that she was the one that ruined their happiness. Was there any other way to save Kris and So Eun now??? Or they were already too late for that???

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

“Ouch! Argh!!!” Ara groaned alone inside the kitchen. She put down the knife that she held in her hand and she eyed closely on the small bleeding cut on her finger. She was in the middle of cutting the tomatoes when she accidentally cut her finger instead.

“Idiot!” she cursed herself, shaking her head as she moved around to attend the cut first. Ara picked out the small emergency kit from inside the cupboard before she walked into the living room. When she sat on the couch, she started to clean the cut to apply the medicine and covered it with a plaster.

She knew why she can’t concentrate on cooking just now. Her mind was too full with the thoughts of Lay recently. Since the day that she received the necklace from him, Lay was still hadn’t contacted her. She waited for him but of course he gave zero news about himself. She only kept up with his usual activities as the artist from his weibo and official website. Ara clicked her tongue, feeling slightly annoyed to him but she can’t deny the fact that she missed him more and more as the days went on.

“Ding dong! Ding dong!” the bell of her house suddenly rang. Ara looked over to the door before she moved the box kit from her lap onto the coffee table.

“Coming!” she shouted towards the person waiting outside of it when the bell kept on echoing inside her apartment. As Ara stood by the door, she unlocked it without checking on that person first. She thought maybe it was one of her nearby neighbors but Ara gasped in surprise when suddenly a tall man, dressed full in black was the one that burst into her house.

“Yah...yah!!! Who are you??? What do you want???!!!” Ara shouted hysterically to him when the man forced his body inside and slammed close the door behind him. He locked it before he turned looking at Ara. He had his face covered with a black handkerchief as Ara took her steps in reverse to distance away from him.

“You better get out now or I’ll call the police!!! Or I’ll kill you first!!! I really am, meant it!!!” Ara screamed to him again and her eyes spotted an umbrella hung on the wall beside her. Out of nowhere and sudden, Ara grabbed the umbrella and she didn’t think twice anymore. She needed to save herself so she started to hit the man with that umbrella.

“GET OUT!!! I SAID GET OUT!!!” the man was pushed to the door when he tried to stop Ara from hitting him but she didn’t care and continued to smack every inch of his body that she could reached. The man held up his arms in front of his body and face but he didn’t fight back. What a kindhearted thief, Ara thought dully inside her mind but she groaned and gave another hard punch on his shoulder by the umbrella. The man finally howled in pain.

“OUCH!!! STOP HITTING ME, ARA YAH!!! IT’S ME!!!” Ara frowned when she recognized his scream. His voice sounded like her husband. Slowly, she lowered down the umbrella and the man finally sighed in relief. He slipped his body weakly down to the floor before he pulled off that handkerchief from his face, revealing his look to her. Ara blinked her eyes when she saw the man did look like Lay. Wait! It was really Lay!!! He gritted his teeth, enduring the pain on his body as he started to massage his arms and shoulders where Ara hit him hard just now. Slowly, she bent her body down to him.

“Lay???” she asked absentmindedly while Lay groaned to her.

“Yes, I am! Enough hitting me, okay??? You almost break my bones!!!” he growled to her while Ara blinked again. She reached out a finger towards him and touched his cheek. She poked him there a few times, trying to feel his flesh until Lay groaned again and pushed away her finger.

“Stop doubting! You’re not dreaming right now! It’s really me that came here...geez, Ara!!! You shouldn’t do that to your husband! You’re really paranoid about it...hitting me like you’re seeing a ghost!” Lay complained again. When she listened to his nagging voice, she was confirmed that this black man was Lay. Ara instantly feeling agitated by him and she hissed. She stood up again and threw the umbrella away. It was Lay’s turn to blink at her.

“Of course I’m being paranoid! Why do you suddenly coming here and sneaked in like a robber huh??? You don’t have to be so secret! It’s my house after all!!!” she started to scold him back but Lay snorted and stood up too.

“I’m not intended to hide anything from you! But I can’t risk anyone to see me coming here! Both of us will be in trouble if that really happen...that’s why I dressed all black like this!” Lay explained desperately to her but Ara rolled her eyes. She glared to him and spun her body around to walk away.

“And??? What do you want from me??? Suddenly coming here like a ghost!” she asked, sounded sarcastic as Lay followed her into the living room. They stopped there but Lay can’t seem to find the correct words to answer her. Of course he got some free time today so he decided to come visiting her here. The ultimate reason was because he missed her. Next, he wanted to know whether Ara had received that necklace from him. Third, he simply wished to spend some time together with her and clear things between them after all along they were acting cold towards each other. But when Lay stood motionless there, Ara clicked her tongue.

“If you came here only to be a statue, no thanks then! I don’t need a mannequin as a decoration inside my house! Now go away!” she shooed him, starting to walk entering the kitchen but Lay quickly grabbed her wrist. He turned looking at her as he frowned.

“We need to talk...” he requested as Ara glared from the corner of her eyes. “About what???”

“About everything...I don’t know but I’m done living in confusion, Ara yah...I don’t even understand why things got so complicated like this...” Lay started to speak while Ara slowly glanced around to him again. She fixed her stern eyes on his face before she pulled her hand off from him. Instead, she folded her arms across her chest and stood facing him to listen.

“And???” she raised an eyebrow.

“You’re...a problem to me, Ara yah...I know if I want to live in calm, I need us to be back like we used to before this...” Lay told her truthfully but Ara smirked.

“I thought you’re doing fine with your life...you even have that romantic episodes of We Got Married with Tiffany sshi...going to Jeju Island for honeymoon??? How sweet!!!” Ara pretended to cheer for him, clapping her hands but Lay hissed and caught her hands to stop her.

“No! It was just a misunderstanding...you need to know that it wasn’t my choice either...no matter what you watched inside the show, it was just plain acting...I have to do that because it is my work now...but it doesn’t mean that I have any feeling for her...you should understand it if you already received my gift for your birthday...” he added again and started to check on her neck whether she was wearing it but he felt disappointed when her neck was empty. Ara looked away.

“Why didn’t you wear that necklace???” he asked again, staring at her with his hurtful face but Ara shrugged.

“It’s pointless to wear it without you...I don’t even stand a chance to celebrate my birthday with you! Don’t you know how suffer I am when you decided to ignore about us and continue with your life alone???” Ara shot him a question but Lay bit his lips in anger and dissatisfaction.

“You’re scolding me like you’re the only one that hurt now! I’m hurt too! Way too much I think! First, I saw you with that bratty prince inside the exclusive restaurant! He even proposed to marry you and second I was admitted to the hospital! I tried to call you but you shut off the line! And lately, I did send you the necklace but you didn’t even wear it!!! I’m so much suffering about it even more than you could tell!” Lay blurted out everything in fast mode. When he finished, they both fell silent. Ara closed her eyes for a second, trying to calm herself down before she started to explain one by one at him again.

“It wasn’t like it seemed, Lay...that night, when you saw me together with Kyuhyun sshi...it was his fault actually...he planned all of it...he even admitted to me that he was the one that sent the message to  you...he wanted you to know his feeling for me...” Lay furrowed in disbelief when he heard her. Lay shook his head.

“Seriously???”

“Yes...and when you were admitted into the hospital...I knew about it even before you managed to call me...I came to your company and I heard it from the staffs there...I did come to visit you but when you called me, I saw Tiffany was there...I can’t risk her to see me so I have no other choice than to pretend like I wasn’t there...I cut off your call but Lay...believe me, I was there...” Lay was staring with guilty drawn on his face when he listened to her. Ara was peering intensely on his face too before she continued.

“...and about the necklace...I already received it...thank you so much for giving it to me...I really appreciate but...I just hope that you can wear it on for me...at least, I deserve a small memory with you...” she told him with low voice, hiding her face away from him as she looked down on her feet. Lay didn’t want to hear anything anymore from their previous misunderstanding. He got it all now so the only thing that he wished was to hold her again close to him. As Ara stood silent there, Lay suddenly reached toward her hand and he quickly pulled her inside his embrace.

“I’m so sorry...” he muttered under his breath and hugged Ara tighter to his chest. Ara started to feel calm again. Slowly, she held up her hands and locked them around his waist. She buried her face on his chest as she felt Lay was kissing the top of her head.

“I am sorry too...” she apologized back to him. Lay rolled his eyes playfully but he pushed her body backward to stare down on her face again. They curved up a broad smile for each other before Lay rested his forehead on hers and whispered romantically to her, closing his eyes.

“I miss you...” Ara can’t help but to giggle in sudden happiness when she felt completely the same as him. She nodded and gripped tighter to his arms.

“I miss you too...” she replied before they burst out laughing together.

“We’re such a fool, aren’t we???” Lay commented and Ara simply agreed with him. She gave him another nod. “Yeah...”

They resumed hugging together, letting go of their long buried feeling of missing each other until Lay slowly let her go and stared on her again.

“Ara yah...go get me that necklace...we will wear it together now...” he ordered her. Ara grinned excitedly to him before she winked and ran into her bedroom. Lay followed after her, taking off his jacket and bag on his way walking there. He threw them onto the couch inside the living room before finally entering her room. Lay stopped behind her as Ara stood in front of the dressing table. Her hands picked out the grey box out from her drawer and she spun around to give it towards. Lay simply smiled to her, taking the box inside his hands before he pulled it open. He took out the necklace and put the box away.

“This is mine...” Lay pushed his hand inside his pocket, collecting his necklace inside it before he opened up his palm towards her. Ara smiled again upon seeing the bigger size of the locket that indicated this necklace was for him. They glanced to each other for a second before Lay shortly laughed and he pulled Ara to stand closer to him. He put on that necklace around her neck as Ara trailed her hands up to his own neck to help him with his own necklace. They giggled to each other after they had done wearing it together. Lay trapped Ara inside his arms as he kissed her briefly on her right ear and neck.

“Happy birthday...” he whispered into her ear as Ara laughed out loud in happiness. She was glad that they were fine now and back together again. She returned his hug as Lay playfully swinging their bodies together.

“Thanks...but I want another birthday present from you...” Ara suddenly requested from him. Lay chuckled. He put Ara down to her feet back before he let her go.

“What is it???” Lay guessed to her while Ara bit her lips. She was blinking to him but the longer she stared on him, the more she felt her body gone warmer. Lastly she looked away and cleared .

“Nothing...” she replied shortly, grinning to him. But of course Lay thought of something else when he saw her suddenly was blushing out of nowhere. He immediately understood her desire and winked naughtily to her.

“Alright...I’ll give you a kid...” he told her carelessly. Ara widened her eyes.

“Eh??? No...I...” she was about to deny it but Lay immediately stopped her by kissing her full on her lips. Ara stood frozen, shock by his action for a while but when she finally regained her sense back, she quickly responded to his kisses.

Lay laughed between their kisses but he explored her lips like she was the most delicious thing in the world. Ara enjoyed their kisses too. She missed him so much after all this time and she didn’t care anymore about what will happen to them after this. They were married after all so it wasn’t a mistake. Plus, as a married couple, they were actually quite late for this.

Ara wanted to laugh out loud at her own thought but Lay didn’t seem wanted to let go of . He continued to kiss her before she gasped shortly when Ara had to grip tighter on his shoulders when Lay suddenly carried her inside his arms. He brought her to the bed and laid her body there. Lay finally pulled away from her lips when he wanted to climb on top of her body. They stared panting to each other, trying hard to catch for their breath as Lay gently caressed his fingers on her cheek.

“I love you...” he confessed to her and Ara blushed again.

“Yeah, I know...then prove it to me that I’m your real wife...a wife that can share your everything with you...” she replied to him while Lay curved up his most irresistible dimpled smile to her.

“Cunning...” he said shortly but Ara can’t seem to resist his overload cuteness so she fiercely pulled his neck towards her and forced his lips on hers. Lay responded aggressively too as they continued to enjoy their first night being the real husband and wife.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

So Eun let out a long sigh when she scanned around her bedroom. Just another fortnight and she’ll be leaving this house. Since she moved in here, she was really taking her time to love this place. Unfortunately, when she finally felt comfortable to stay here and would love to build a happy life with Kris inside this house, fate cruelly tore them apart. She swallowed down the bitterness but she tried to convey herself. Maybe, she really wasn’t meant to be with him from the very start. So it was time to go now. So Eun nodded her head as her hands gripped tighter on the ticket inside her. Suddenly, she heard a knock on her door.

So Eun looked up to it before another knock came on her door. She sighed and threw away the ticket onto the bedside table. So Eun stood up from the bed and walked over towards the door. When she pulled it open, Kris’s towering body was the one that filled her sight. So Eun frowned up to him.

“What do you want???” she asked coldly but instead of answering her, Kris pushed his body into her room and closed the door. So Eun watched his movement in confusion. Kris blinked his uncertain eyes on her before he talked.

“Em...can I ask you something???” he sounded mysterious but So Eun rolled her eyes. “What???”

“Can I sleep with you tonight???” So Eun furrowed in disbelief upon listening to his ridiculous request. She immediately shook her head.

“Definitely no! This is a crime, you know! We’re no longer a married couple! Get out!” she refused to him and started pulling on the knob to chase him out of her room but Kris snorted and stopped her.

“It’s okay...you can report to the police tomorrow but just let me sleep with you tonight, okay???” he went on acting weird again as So Eun hissed. She pushed his hands away and shot him a sharp glare.

“Hish!!! What’s wrong with you actually???” she asked, feeling unsatisfied but Kris simply pouted to her, sulking like a little kid.

“Come on...I want to spend as much time as I have with you now...before you’re going to Canada...” So Eun felt her heart slowly melted when he mentioned about her leaving the country. She knew that she’ll be missing him like hell too. So Eun stayed silent for a minute before she shook her head and turned around.

“Then we’re just sleeping...but you can’t do anything to me!” she warned him firmly while Kris narrowed his eyes. “Can’t I even hug you???”

So Eun bit her lips, controlling her confusion towards him as she nodded and walked back to the door.

“Then out you go!” she threated him and Kris quickly shook his head. He ran over to her and grabbed So Eun’s hands away from reaching out towards the door.

“Okay, okay! I understand! I won’t touch you...we’ll just sleep...I promise I’ll behave on the bed...” he told her and So Eun stopped herself from burst out laughing. Instead, she glared to him and walked back to climb on her bed. Kris tailed robotically behind her. As So Eun already lay down on the bed, Kris switched off the lamps and only lit up the bedside lamp instead. He rested his tall body next to her before he realized So Eun rearranged the pillows so that there was a gap between their bodies. She ignored him, refused to talk again as she covered her body under the blanket and sleep with her back on him. Kris pouted silently but he chose to drop the matter. As long as he knew that So Eun was right next to him, he would feel calm.

So Eun had already closed her eyes, her body felt so energyless and she got so sleepy now. She was about to be driven into her deep sleep when she suddenly felt something sticking inside . So Eun immediately sat up straight.

“So Eun ah???” Kris who still wasn’t close his eyes, glanced up to her when she suddenly sat up like that. Kris got up too as he watched her from behind. He tried to ask again, reaching out to touch her shoulder but So Eun pasted her palm on . She felt the urgency to puke so she pushed the blanket off from her body and jumped out from the bed.

“Yah, So Eun ah!” Kris called out to her in panic when So Eun ran hastily towards the bathroom. Before Kris managed to reach at the door, she closed it and locked the door at once. So Eun ran towards the sink and throwing up inside the bowl. As she coughed and released all the bitterness she felt inside , she heard Kris was shouting and knocking madly on the door.

“So Eun ah! Yah! Open up! What’s wrong with you??? So Eun ah! I’m getting out of my mind here! So Eun ah, open this door!” Kris kept on calling to her but she chose to stay silent. So Eun finally finished and she washed , brushing her teeth again. When she wiped clean using the tissue, she stared up to the mirror and checked on her sudden pale face. What was happening to her??? It was weird because she kept on having headache and puked since this morning. Did she...pregnant???

So Eun shook away the thought and worriedness she felt inside her head. She slowly massaged her forehead and walked back outside the bathroom. Once she opened the door, Kris almost bumped into her because he was about to burst inside it. They stopped looking at each other. So Eun was frowning up to him while Kris cupped her face inside his hands to check on her.

“So Eun ah...what’s wrong with you??? Are you feeling sick??? Did you puke just now???” he asked her, feeling worried. But So Eun snorted and pushed his hands down.

“I’m fine...it’s none of your business after all....” she replied and walked over him towards the bed again. Kris sighed, shaking his head when she acted all stubborn around him. Kris spun around, looking at her again but his eyes grew wider when he saw So Eun’s body gone weaker and she was about to fall down to the floor.

“So Eun ah!!!” Kris shouted again and he quickly ran to catch her inside his arms. Luckily, he arrived in time when So Eun dropped exactly inside his waiting arms. Kris circled his hands around her waist from behind as So Eun felt her head became really dizzy now. Everything that she saw around her was spinning madly. She shook her head.

“Kris...” she called his name through her weak, low voice as she grabbed on his arm for his support. Kris nodded to her.

“Come...” he lifted her up inside his arms and carried So Eun to the bed. As he put down her body carefully, Kris pulled the blanket to cover her body. Then he jumped next to her and wrapped his right hand protectively around her small body. He pulled her closer to him as he pillowed his left arm under her head so that she was completely inside his embrace now. So Eun tried to refuse but she was too weak to do so. She just chose to close her eyes and drifted back to sleep.

Inside his embrace, she was totally in peace and feeling safe. So Eun was easily drowned into her beautiful dreamland.

Chapter 56: Oh my god really long story..but i enjoyed it but my eyes and neck are tired hahah and maybe because it was 3 stories in one ;) they all have unique and different story but same start..haha bride instead of planner, really nice idea..hha but hmm I was more of always eager to read luhan and yoobi's part..not saying other two were boring but luhan and yoobi's story idea i find it extra interesting..hmm any plan to make luhan n yoobi fic like you did with kris and so eun..coincidently I really like so eun since bof days :) and go ara since who are you? days ..well and tho I haven't watched yoobi's drama..I found her cutely charming..haha I enjoyed all the story but if krid never married sooyoung, why didn't he went to look for soeun? But it was cruel you know so eun had to divorce him that way..if I was so eun I guess I will never forgive anyone esp who suggested that idea..hahhah but thanks I had wonderful time reading :D
