THE WEDDING PLANNERS

“Ding dong! Ding dong!”

Luhan stirred in his sleep but he didn’t open his eyes, praying that the ringing bell wasn’t come from his house.

“Ding dong! Ding dong! Ding dong!”, but it rang again, making Luhan to groan.

“Aish! Who in their right mind would come to someone’s home this hour???”, he nagged in his sleep but he sat on his bed. Yawning loudly, he yanked the blanket away from covering his body. Then lazily, he pushed his body out from the bed to walk out from the room. The impatient ringing of bell kept on roaring inside his house. Luhan chuckled as he rubbed his hair in confusion and sleepiness.

“Okay! Okay! I’m coming...wait up!”, he finally gave up and shouted to the person outside the door. He haft running to it and at once pulled the knob of the door to open it.

“What can I help you???”, he asked between his yawns, still didn’t fully awake from his sleep.

“Em, Luhan ah...we’re sorry to suddenly coming here...but can we have your time for awhile? Discussing about something?”, Luhan quickly turned his head once he heard the voice. He blinked his eyes upon seeing Mr. Lee and Mrs. Lee were standing there, right in front of his door. He immediately stood straight, fully awaked again.

“Uncle, aunty...what are you guys doing here???”, he asked and walked further out to duck his head outside to the corridor. “Where is Yoo Na?”

He asked, changing his sight back to his parents-to-be but the couple was frowning to each other. They both were wearing such a serious expression on their faces. It made Luhan to feel something strange about it so he welcomed them inside.

“Come on, uncle...let’s get inside first...”, he said and stepped aside, giving them more space to make their way into the house. Mr. Lee and his wife kept silence as they entered the doorway to the living room. Luhan closed the door back and he hastily cornered toward the kitchen.

“Uncle and aunty...please make yourself like at home...take a seat first while I prepare the drink...what do you want, uncle? Black coffee or tea???”, he busily asked them all the way to enter the kitchen but Mrs. Lee stopped him.

“No, Luhan ah...don’t bother yourself...just come here and sit with us...”, she told him, making Luhan to froze halfway in holding up the kettle. He hesitated for awhile but after seeing Mr. Lee was giving him a nod, he smiled and put down the kettle back.

“Okay...let’s talk...”, he agreed and walked straight toward the living room again. He sat across from them, facing the couple who sat as stiff and straight as a mannequin. Luhan stared at them, sighing slowly under his breath as he shifted his eyes from Mr. Lee to Mrs. Lee. If these two are coming to his house so suddenly in the middle of the night, that mean something wrong is really happening but Luhan wasn’t sure what exactly it is. So he kept his mouth shut too, waiting for the eldery to start talking first. At last, Mr. Lee sighed and took out something from inside his pocket. Luhan followed his movement with his eyes. It was a phone, Yoo Na’s phone. He recognized it easily since he remembered every single thing about her.

“Luhan ah...can you explain this thing to us???”, Mr. Lee started to ask and he held the phone toward him. Luhan bit his lips, feeling the curiousity increasing inside him but he tried to act calm as he nodded and took the phone inside his hand. He brought it closer to him before he gasped when he saw a photo on the screen.

“This...”, he opened his mouth, trying to ask something but he wasn’t quite sure what he really wanted to know about the picture. It was his picture, sleeping beside Yoo Bi who slept on his bed. He remembered it, the day when Yoo Bi came to meet him and she suddenly passed out impact from their mistakenly kissing each other. Luhan gulped down his throat. Why did such picture exist? Who could have take this? He questioned himself but of course no answer came to him so he looked up again to Mr. Lee. The old man was sighing to himself as he shook his head.

“Yoo Na took the picture...the morning when she came to look for Yoo Bi, she saw the two of you...sleeping like that together...”, Mr. Lee said but Luhan quickly shook his head.

“No, uncle...don’t misunderstand anything about this...it was true that Yoo Bi was sleeping in my bedroom and I am sleeping next to her...but there was nothing weird happened between us...we were just...sleeping...yeah, sleeping...and the reason why Yoo Bi was sleeping in my room instead of another because...”, Luhan paused, he thought for awhile and he knew that he couldn’t just tell them about the kissing part so he cut it away. “...because she fainted that night...she was too tired because of the homework and all...I was worried about her...so I let her sleep with me...just to make sure that she is okay...that’s all and nothing more...trust me...”, Luhan finished his explaination and it earned a nod from Mrs. Lee.

“So that is the real thing...”, she commented, frowning to herself but Luhan learned closed to her.

“Did...did Yoo Na say something about this? Did she feel awful or sad when she saw...”, Luhan didn’t manage to finish his words. He felt a sudden bitterness crept inside him. It was silly to ask about it when he completely sure that Yoo Na must have felt disappointed with him. He was staying with Yoo Bi for the whole night. Who wouldn’t feel bad after seeing her fiancee like that, right? Luhan sighed and buried his face in his palms. He felt like he was being a jerk to Yoo Na. He felt sorry for her, he hurt her. Mr. Lee eyed this boy with total sympathy in his eyes. Luhan is a good man and Mr. Lee sure that he will be a good husband too –neither for Yoo Na or Yoo Bi. So he knew that Luhan was strong enough to take all this and getting through the trouble smoothly even though it might break his heart a little –or maybe more than a little because of losing Yoo Na to another man so suddenly like this. But he braced his heart to start telling Luhan the truth. They gonna face it together. Mr. Lee, his wife, Yoo Bi and Luhan –they are going to settle this problem together. So he gazed up to Luhan.

“Luhan ah...don’t worry about Yoo Na...she is fine...because that way she know that you can take care of Yoo Bi sincerely after this...”, Mr. Lee told him and Luhan raised his face to look back at him. He frowned questioningly.

“What...what does she meant by that?”, he asked and Mrs. Lee grabbed her handbag. Slowly, she zipped it off and took out a little envelope, colored in light purple –Yoo Na’s favorite color. Luhan watched in silence as Mrs. Lee let go of a heavy sigh on it and she gazed back toward Luhan.

“Yoo Na...she asked us to give this to you...”, Mrs. Lee said and handed the envelope to Luhan. He was hesitated to take it but after taking a deep breath, he held out his hand and Mrs. Lee placed it on his palm. Luhan slowly peeled the back of the envelope, it was actually a letter written by Yoo Na for him.

“Dear Luhan,

I’m sorry that when you read this, I’m no longer there for you...to love you and to cherish your gentleness toward me...Luhan ah, there is no other word that can describe my feeling right now...I know that I shouldn’t say much since...since I betrayed you...yes, honey...I am an awful person because I betrayed you...I betrayed your heart, your love, your kindness, your warmth and everything that you did for me...I’m even more sorry that I can’t guide myself to say sorry in front of your very eyes...oh. yeah...I remembered how beautiful your eyes is...but Luhan...I’m not writing this to say how blissful I am to fall in love with you...of course I’m blissful because through our relatonship, I get to learn so many things from you...sometimes, I feel jealous with you...you’re being a better sibling to Yoo Bi compare to me as her real sister...yes, Yoo Bi...let’s talk about her...you love her, don’t you? I can see it in your eyes how much you care for her...so I know that aside of someone awful as me, you deserve someone pure and kindhearted like Yoo Bi for you to love and protect for your whole life...you must be thinking, why am I writing to you like this right? The answer is here honey...I want you to marry her...marry her, Luhan ah...marry Yoo Bi instead of me...because I don’t deserve your care neither your love...I betrayed you when i can’t resist my heart to love somebody else...yes, baby...I’m a mad girl...I’m in love with my first love...a kind man called Kim Bum...and I’m going to marry him in Japan tomorrow...the very same day where you will be marrying my sister, Lee Yoo Bi...I might sound selfish to you...but trust me, I just wish for the best to both you and Yoo Bi...goodbye, Luhan ah...when we meet again, let’s be a real family...as a sister and...brother in law...-Lee Yoo Na”

Luhan dropped the letter onto his lap once he finished reading it. He fixed his eyes on the coffee table in front of them. Slowly, he shut his eyes. He refused to see the reality anymore.

“Luhan ah...”, Mrs. Lee called out to him but quickly Luhan held up a hand to her.

“Sorry...but please leave me alone...I need some time to think...”, with that words, he got up from his seat and walked straight to enter his bedroom, leaving the letter to lay forgotten on the floor now. He left Mr. Lee and his wife to stare with equal sadness and pitiness toward the poor boy. He was just an innocent victim in this case. Mr. Lee shook his head while Mrs. Lee had already got her eyes teary because of the matter. It broke her heart to see her two daughters and Luhan struggled to settle thing regarding their hearts and love between them.

Lay shifted his body on the soft-blanketed bed. He stretched his body and groaned in pain when he felt his muscle was screaming all over his body. Then he rolled sideway when he bumped into something.

“Erk...damn it, Lay! Sleep properly!”, he frowned, eyes still closed when he heard someone’s voice scolded him like that –a voice that belonged to a girl. Slowly, he lifted up his eyelids.

“AH!!!”, he yelled in shock when he caught sight of a girl sleeping next to him. He sat up straight as he widened his eyes on that girl. That was when he shook his head, feeling the dizziness stuck inside his head. He massaged his forehead for awhile before he blinked his eyes, trying to clear the blurriness from covering his sight. Once it got better, he cracked his head slowly to gaze back on the girl.

“Huh...!”, he gasped in surprise, quickly prevented his eyes from staring longer on the girl when he realized that she was just wearing her y sleeveless night gown that fully exposed her fair shoulders. Lay felt his breath got ragger and faster in nervous when he shifted his eyes to scan around the room. Here wasn’t his bedroom neither his bed. Everything about his surroundings wasn’t belong to him.

“Hmmm...Lay, honey...you’re awake???”, he jumped a bit when he heard the girl started to talk again. He gulped down and stole a quick glance to her from the corner of his eyes, didn’t dare to look straight. The girl chuckled when she saw him acted shyly like that.

“Don’t pretend like you never see this before...it hurts, Zhang sshi...”, she addressed him with his family name and it clicked Lay on who is that girl. Only Tiffany called him like that before. So Lay slowly turned his face to fully looking at her. Tiffany was smiling sheepishly on him once their eyes met but it broke Lay’s mind into pieces as reality hit him. Why he was sleeping on the very same bed with her??? He thought furiously as Tiffany yawned and got out from the bed.

“Uhhh!!!”, she stretched her hands and waist easily but Lay hastily hid his face from looking at her again. That dress of her was even more y when she stood straight like that. It was made from see-through laces with very thin fabric that created such seductive feeling. Lay felt his body gone sweating heavily as he was afraid that ‘something’ had really happened between them last night. Quickly, he dropped his eyes to his body. He was even suprised to see that he was shirtless right now! His muscular top body was totally exposed –Lay could clearly see his stomach and chest sweated by the heat that he felt filling this room right now. He quickly grabbed the blanket to cover his body again. Tiffany had now walked over to pull opened the sliding door around the room. She walked out to the balcony and stood before its rail. She closed her eyes, enjoying the morning breeze that blew on her face and hugged around her body. Tiffany smiled in happiness.

“Zhang sshi...thank you...”, she suddenly said to him. Lay who was still puzzled by this situation slightly looked up to her.

“Huh???”

“I’m happy that you’re willing to accompany me last night...”, she said and walked back into the room. Lay once again darted his eyes away from staring straight on her y body. Tiffany grinned at his sheepishness. She arranged her steps toward the bed before she naughtily jumped on it to lean straight in front of Lay. Lay widened his eyes as he caught sight of Tiffany’s face was only a few inches in front of him.

“I’ll see you again...at the company...”, she said and learned forward to kiss his lips. Lay froze under her touch. Once she finished, Tiffany let go of his lips and she winked at him.

“Bye, bye...honey!”, she said and hooped down from the bed. She picked up all her pieces of clothes on the floor before she entered another small room inside this area, maybe the bathroom. But Lay couldn’t think of anything else. He couldn’t let himself kept on going being manipulated by her so he shook his head and hastily got off from the bed. He ran around the room, searching for his shirt and jeans. Once he found it, he quickly get dressed in lightening speed. Then, he slammed the door of the room closed behind him. He let go of the relief sigh, started walking but he stopped in the middle of the corridor. Lay just got it that he was inside a hotel right now! He gulped down his throat as he bit his lips in full regretness. What have he done??? He questioned himself and resumed walking toward the lift. Once he stopped and raised his hand to push on the button, he paused. Lay saw that wedding ring of him. Automatically, his mind flicked back to someone –Go Ara.

“Unnie, unnie! Please! Don’t go!”, Lee Yoo Bi said as she chased after her sister that walked toward the exit door. Yoo Na stopped by the door, biting her lips as she endured the gultiness inside her. But she gripped tighter on her luggage before she glanced over to her little sister from her shoulder.

“I’m so sorry...but I have, to go...”, she told her again but Yoo Bi insisted to grab hold of her arm. Yoo Bi shook her head as tears poured down rapidly on her cheeks.

“No, unnie...please...don’t do this to me...don’t leave me...don’t leave our family...and don’t leave Luhan oppa...you can’t hurt him like this...”, she pleaded again to her but it was Yoo Na’s turn to shake her head in rejection.

“Kim Bum is waiting for me...I need to go...I promise you, Yoo Bi ah...I’ll be right back after everything is done between me and him...so meanwhile for that, you have to get it done with Luhan too...okay? Goodbye, darling...”, she reminded her sister as she pulled her arm closer to her. Then she landed a soft kiss on Yoo Bi’s forehead before she let go of her arm and slowly walked out from the door.

“Unnie...”, Yoo Bi called out for her between her sobs but nothing answer her as she could only hear her crying voice when she watched in despair the door of their house being closed by Yoo Na. Her sister finally gone to Japan...leaving her alone to deal with this entire trouble.

Yoo Bi flinched in little shock once she was snapped out from that memory. The ringing of her phone loudly filled her ears right now. Slowly she turned to look at it on the sidetable of her bed. It flashed the bright light from the screen that also signaled to her that she had received a message from someone. Yoo Bi sighed weakly but she reached out toward her phone. Picking it up, she flipped it to reveal the text inside.

-Morning, baby! Wake up! Wake up! It’s our wedding day...oh! No, no...not ours...but your sister’s wedding day! Hehehe...I’ll see you later at the garden, okay??? Remember to dress beautifully because I’ve found the right tuxedo for me! So let’s steal the spotlight from the couple and be the brightest one together, okay??? I love you –Sehun

A tear escaped from the corner of her eye when she read the message from her beloved boyfriend. Yoo Bi felt her heart bleed even more when she thought that she might have to disappoint him today, for being somebody else’s bride. But Yoo Bi bit her lips as she closed her phone again. Maybe she should just forget about this. Why should she care or give a damn about this??? She is young and still in her time to enjoy her whole life freely. She shouldn’t be trouble about all this rubbish. Yoo Bi tried to convey herself as she silently determined to reject the idea of being a substitute to Luhan’s bride. No! She won’t marry him! Maybe...

“Knock! Knock!”, that was when someone knocked on her door. Yoo Bi turned to look at it but she stayed silence, not even bother to give any permission for that person behind the door to enter her room. In fact, she wasn’t in a mood to meet anyone right now.

“Yoo Bi ah, I’m coming in okay?”, then she heard her mother said to her. Slowly, the door was being pulled by Mrs. Lee and Yoo Bi chose to ignore her. She put down her phone on the blanket back as she rested her body on the wooden head of her twin bed. Mrs. Lee made her way into her daughter’s room before she closed the door behind her and walked over toward Yoo Bi on the bed. She stared down on the pale and empty face of Yoo Bi. Mrs. Lee sighed heavily and she held out something to her. Yoo Bi glanced up.

“Luhan is looking for you...”, her mother told Yoo Bi as she gazed wordlessly on the phone inside Mrs. Lee’s palm. Yoo Bi made no movement to take it so Mrs. Lee shifted the call into loudspeaker and she placed the phone down next to Yoo Bi on her bed.

“Please...at least talk to him...”, Mrs. Lee reminded her little daughter before she left her alone again inside her room. Yoo Bi took a quick glance on the phone but she still didn’t start talking. She knew that Luhan was on the line but she felt so embarassed to him after all that her sister had done to this oppa of her. Yoo Bi stared emptily toward the front wall when she heard Luhan was clearing his thoat.

“Yoo Bi ah...are you there?”, he asked but Yoo Bi chose to stay silence. Luhan gulped down his throat.

“Oppa so sorry, Yoo Bi ah...oppa couldn’t tell you how much more I am sorry about this...”, he said to her but Yoo Bi bit her lips, feeling the tears flowed even more right now. She sniffed shortly, Luhan wasn’t the one that should be apologize on this matter. She would be even sorry to him.

“Yoo Bi ah...are you crying, honey?”, Luhan asked her as Yoo Bi sobs harder. She couldn’t resist it when Luhan was being so understanding to her. After all this time, she had known this boy. Luhan always managed to read her emotion. Like now, even when they were separated by the phone, Luhan could still guessed on her mood. Yoo Bi heard Luhan sighing loudly.

“Don’t cry...please...don’t make me look like a total useless here...”, Luhan told her but Yoo Bi shook her head, like he could possibly see her through the phone.

“No, you’re not...you’re not useless at all...”, Yoo Bi finally opened to start talking. Luhan smiled to himself, feeling a bit relief when Yoo Bi was willing to talk to him again.

“Thank you...”, he replied to her and Yoo Bi smiled too.

“Oppa...”, she called weakly to him.

“Hmmm?”

“Forgive me...”, Yoo Bi said to him. Luhan inhaled deeply before he let go of his breath slowly.

“No, you’re not the one who at fault...I’m the one who should be blame...”, Luhan explained to her but Yoo Bi frowned alone right now.

“Why?”, she questioned.

“Because I never know your sister’s heart...her pain, her burden...I know nothing about it...it must be hurtful for her to plan the whole wedding with the person that she doesn’t love...I’m a failure, Yoo Bi ah...I thought I understand your sister, I thought I know her...but in fact, I’m totally blind about her real feeling for me...I regret it that I’m too late to apologize to her...she had left me, isn’t she?”, Luhan said with his low voice. He was now rubbing their engagement ring between his fingers that left by Yoo Na inside the letter that she gave him lastnight. Luhan just found it this dawn when he picked up the letter with its envelope again and realized that Yoo Na had returned this ring to him. The memory of him proposing to her at the airport lingered back inside his mind. He felt his eyes blurried by the sudden tears but quickly he closed it to shove away the tears. He shouldn’t be crying right now. He has something more important to be settled. Yoo Bi gulped down , lost for word when she heard him saying like that. This whole situation was too twisted for her so she couldn’t think a single reply to comfort him. Even though she knew that she should be comforting him right now as it was clear to her that Luhan must be in extreme pain. Then she heard Luhan cleared his throat once again.

“Lee Yoo Bi...”, he muttered out her full name, reminding himself about the real name of his bride-to-be for this very critical moment. Yoo Bi didn’t say a word to it, she stayed silence.

“Three months...”, Luhan said to her.

“Huh?”

“Let’s get married for three months only...then I’ll let you go...”, Luhan finished his sentence earlier as Yoo Bi felt even confused right now.

“Why should we?”, she asked him.

“Because I don’t want to waste your brilliant efforts...you have sacrificed everything to plan a perfect wedding for me...so let’s not disappoint our guests...especially your parents and my parents...they’re too happy to celebrate this wedding...and it can’t be call as a wedding if I’m the one who stand alone on the aisle...”, Luhan explained to her as Yoo Bi sighed a long despair sigh.

“I need a bride...to stand together with me there...and I think...you’re the one...”, Luhan finally told her as Yoo Bi closed her eyes, feeling the burden overwhelming inside her.

“Am I just a substitute to you?”, she bitterly questioned him. Luhan chuckled but after a long silence wrapped them, he finally made up his mind and shook his head.

“No...you’re not a substitute...you’re my bride from now on, Lee Yoo Bi...I chose you...so...will you marry me???”, he confessed to her after pushing away the wave of battle in his heart. He shouldn’t hesitate about this. Once he decided to make her as his wife, he shoud be responsible toward her. Yoo Bi gasped slowly when she heard him asking for her hand like that. She never dream of marrying her own oppa. She thought Luhan will always stay as her oppa and not more than that. But now...she was having a second thought. So the answer and the only key to this trouble is...

“Yes, I’ll marry you...Luhan oppa...”, she blindly agreed to him. Luhan sighed in relief as he slowly curved a smile.

“Thank you, Yoo Bi ah...thank you for saving me...thank you for saving all of us...”, he wished his gratitude to her. Yoo Bi shook her head.

“I’m not going to lie to you, oppa...honestly, this is not something that I should feel grateful with...”, she commented back as Luhan nodded his head understandingly.

“I know that you’re young, baby...you want your normal teenager’s life...and marriage isn’t exactly the right thing to start with...but it is okay...I’ll give it all to you...even after we got married, you can further your studies like usual...you can always hang out with your friends...I promise you...I’ll never keep you as a frozen wife for me...”, he offered her and it invited short laughter between them. Yoo Bi finally felt a bit easy about this. As expected, it was easy to deal with Luhan as he was a very understanding man. Yoo Bi pouted on the line and she picked up the phone to bring it closer to her.

“Deal...I’ll remember your promise...”, she replied him.

“And I’ll keep my promise...”, he agreed with her. Yoo Bi inhaled deeply as she closed her eyes, gathering the strength back inside her.

“Then...I’ll wait for you...down the aisle...”, Luhan slowly whispered romantically to her and he shut the line even before Yoo Bi manage to say anything back. She snapped opened her eyes again and she put down the phone. Yoo Bi pushed her body out from the bed before she took her steps toward her sister’s closet. Yoo Bi breathed in heavily and she pulled it opened widely at once, revealing the white dress hung inside it. It was supposed to be Yoo Na’s wedding dress, not her...and she was supposed to be his wedding planner, not his bride! Yoo Bi shook her head in major mental rejection. This might sound stupid but maybe...she is ready for this wedding.

“What is this?”, Go Ara asked to her officemate, eyes fixed on a file that situated on her desk. Her officemate, sat next to her desk tilted her head to look at it.

“Ah...that is our company newest project...”, she told her and Ara nodded as she landed her on the chair. She picked up that file.

“Hmmm...newest project huh??? What is it?”, she mumbled to herself but before she make any move to read on the details, her friend once again gave an explaination to her.

“We will arrange an event to open a wedding exibition...each of the planners in our company can have their own booth to create and perform the best wedding ever planned by them...it’s excited, you know!”, she told her as she giggled but Ara blinked and threw the file back on her desk.

“Eh??? What a troublesome! I thought we’re only here to plan the wedding for customers...not to work on some boring specific project!”, she said her opinion about it but her friend pouted.

“Yeah...everything is a trouble to you...but it’s okay...since the president of the project is a very handsome prince! If you don’t interested to join the project, that also mean our rivals in winning his heart is descending too! Great!”, she cheered but Ara stopped moving to look at her with serious stare through her eyes.

“Wait...tell me something...is it that prince named...Cho Kyuhyun???”, she guessed on it but her friend had already widened her eyes toward Ara. She clapped her hand on before she got up to run toward her.

“Yah! Where did you know his full name??? We only know him as Prince Kyuhyun...but not his full name! Tell me! How did you...”, her friend started to urge her but Ara quickly shook her head.

“No, no, no! Maybe I’m wrong about it...hahahaha...excuse me...”, she said, holding up her hands toward the girl as she pushed her body up to escape from her.

“Wait! Wait! You need to tell me first!”, she still insisted to make Ara tell her the truth but Ara had already walked out from their office.

“Sorry! I’m going to get the coffee!”, she shouted to her and half running toward the pantry room.

“Huh...”, Ara sighed in relief and relaxed her body once she reached the outside corridor of her department. She stood straight next to the glass wall of that building before she tilted her head to gaze at the scenery outside. She have been trying to contact Lay but his phone was switch off since last night. Ara had started to feel worried about him. Lastly, she snorted and decided not to care about him. Ara thought that he was more than capable to take care of himself. Then she wanted to walk back into the office but Ara was stopped when she spotted a woman, standing outside of the company across the road. It was Ms. Kyung so Ara made her way down to the ground floor.

“Anneyong, Kyung sshi!”, she greeted her, waving her hands toward that woman as she ran to cross the main road and finally stopped panting in front of her. Ms. Kyung bowed down to Ara.

“Anneyong...how do you know I’m here?”, she asked her but Ara chuckled and pointed her finger up to the building in front of them.

“I saw you from the window...what are you doing here?”, she asked her as Ms. Kyung bit her lips, she looked hesitated about telling Ara something. Ara smiled but she went to pat her on shoulder.

“Don’t worry...you can tell me anything...”, she conveyed the old woman. Ms. Kyung slightly smiled at her.

“Thank you...but I’m wondering, where is Lay these days? His grandpa tried several times to contact him but he never manage to reach Lay...is he okay?”, Ms. Kyung asked her and that made Ara to stand motionless on her feet. She started to frown in worried.

“I...”, Ara tried to explain that she was having the same problem in contacting Lay but she couldn’t say that because it will lead everyone to know that they weren’t living together. So Ara quickly put on her face’s happy smile.

“Nah...he is fine...but he is just quite busy with his training nowadays...why? What happen to his grandpa?”, Ara asked for her explaination and Ms. Kyung nodded understandingly.

“Actually...his grandpa is getting more sick right now...his condition doesn’t even show any improvement...and he miss him so much...so he wish to see Lay...I hope both of you can come and visit him this weekend...or maybe any free time that you have...”, Ms. Kyung said as Ara bit her lips. She felt a bit shock and guilty over the news. They were at fault for making the old man to wait for them. Ara clicked her tongue before she raised her face to look at Ms. Kyung back.

“I got it...I’ll fine Lay this evening and we will go straight to see him...just tell his grandpa that we’re sorry about it...”, Ara reminded her and Ms. Kyung nodded with smile.

“I’m relieve to hear it...thank you and excuse me for now...”, she finally concluded and bowed down to leave Ara. Ara bowed toward her back and she watched from behind as Ms. Kyung walked away. After she had gone from her sight, Ara hastily grabbed out her phone to try contacting Lay once again.

“Sorry but the person that you called...”

“Urgh! Damn it!”, she cursed once she heard the operator answered her again. Then she closed her phone and stared out around her, finding another way to see Lay. Something clicked inside her mind and Ara nodded to herself. She was going to find him at his recording company. Once she found him, Lay was so gonna get it from her because of his sudden missing in action! She thought angrily and arranged her steps to enter the company back.

Sehun took a deep breath on the refreshing air around the garden. He opened his eyes wide as he smiled upon seeing the scenery around him. This venue was chosen by Luhan and Yoo Na to create their fairytale wedding garden. Sehun felt proud about it when he eyed every fantastic decoration for the whole wedding place. He felt like that because he knew that on top of these fabulous artworks, Yoo Bi was the one who decorated it all. Sehun cleared his throat as he fixed his violet colored bowtie that he wore around his neck. As he promised to Yoo Bi, he had already granted it now when he did wear that color to match her bridesmaid purple dress. Sehun though excitedly, he couldn’t wait any minute more to see Yoo Bi in her dress. They will be a pair today –as a bridesmaid and a bestman for the married couple. Then he stepped his feet into the garden, arranged his way up straight to the archway created to lead the aisle.

“Yo, hyung!”, he waved toward Luhan happily once he caught sight of the groom, standing motionless below the archway. Luhan turned his body to look at him.

“Wow...as expected from the groom! I hate to admit this...but you do look great in your wedding coat!”, Sehun teased and praised him at the same time. He scanned Luhan up and down his body. As the groom, Luhan appeared stunningly gorgeous in his stripped black coat that wrapped around his body perfectly to expose his marvelous tough and sturdy chest. Luhan tried to crack a smile on his praise but his lips froze again when he thought that he was going to surprise Sehun regarding his sudden changing of bride today. Sehun pouted and smacked him lightly on his shoulder when he saw Luhan’s stern face.

“Aigoo, hyung...don’t be like a puppet! I know that you’re nervous but try to relax...calm down and everything is going to be fine...”, Sehun encouraged him and Luhan stared at him through the corner of his eyes. Slowly, he smiled.

“Hopefully...thanks...”, he replied to Sehun. It would be better if everything can be fine but now, Luhan knew that the whole matter was wrong. How can he and Yoo Bi correcting something that had gone wrong from the beginning? He thought in confusion before his ears caught sound of the car zooming from afar before it stopped at the entrance of the garden.

“Hey! The bride is here! She is finally here!”, Luhan shifted his eyes to the archway that built at the front way to enter this wedding. He took a deep, weak breath as he need to brace his heart, accepting the fact that it wasn’t Yoo Na who will step out from the white car. Sehun laughed and clapped his hands excitedly.

“Now I’m thrill to see my Yoo Bi...sorry, hyung...because I’m not anticipating for the bride but for her bridesmaid...but, good luck anyway!”, Sehun said to him and he patted Luhan on his shoulder. Then he walked down from the small stage as he came to stand in a line with another best men of Luhan. Luhan sighed at him but he couldn’t make any move to stop this. He just wished that the time could stop right now but of course...that never happen in reality. Next, he heard the MC annouced the arrival of the bride.

“Ladies and gentlemen...let us rise to honor the arrival of the bride here in this glorious wedding...”, he told them through the microphone, voice echoed around the garden as Luhan heard a song played to welcome the bride into the aisle –his bride.

Heart beats fast...

Colors and promises...

A song from Christina Perri, A Thousand Years that Luhan remembered choosing it together with Yoo Na to become their welcome song to start the ceremony for today. But...unfortunately, Yoo Na wasn’t here to listen to the love song that clearly potrayed their love story after all this time. Luhan finally realized that only him who dream for this day to come true but not Yoo Na. Only his heart that beating so fast for her but not Yoo Na and...only him that still held hard to their promises but yet, Yoo Na broke them all.

How to be brave?

How can I love when I’m afraid to fall?

Yes, how can he be brave to get through all this? Luhan was honestly feeling very afraid right now. He was indeed becoming a coward when he thought that he will be Yoo Bi’s husband in just another few minutes. Can he actually fall for her? Can he love her...as his wife? Or maybe the true question is, can they fall in love with each other??? When those questions over pouring in his brain, the door of the car was pulled opened by one of the bridesmaids. She stepped aside to give the real bride enough space to step out from the car. Yoo Bi closed her eyes, praying everything would be just plain fine for today. She immediately opened it back and gathered her long dress to get out from behind of the car’s door. Once she stepped out, the guests ducked their heads to look at her. They smiled upon seeing the beautiful bride, looking extraordinarily pretty and attractive in her gown. Yoo Bi kept her head down as she walked slowly toward the archway. They stared at her from her head to her toe. That white dress fitted her slim body perfectly –its turtle-neck collar that covered around her shoulders with its laces flowery fabric created such an unique design for the cute bride. The fabric changed to soft satin down from her short sleeves until her whole upper body and waist but it spread extravagantly like umbrella when it reached her knees and legs and finally, the dress curled like the ocean waves at its end tail. Yoo Bi kept on walking until she stopped standing to greet the whole crowd. Slowly, she raised her head to reveal her face and automatically, everyone gasped once they saw her.

“What...what is going on???”, some of the guests that mostly consisted with Yoo Na’s officemates and closed friends started to buzz and asking in strange when they saw the bride wasn’t Yoo Na but another young girl. Yoo Bi exhaled in despair when she saw the guests puzzled like that but she bit her lips to keep herself steady with it. Sehun was also struck in major surprise when he pasted his eyes on that girl, that bride –she is his girlfriend!

“What actually is happening? Why Yoo Bi becoming a bride here? Do they joke us around now?”, Sehun glared sideway toward the bestmen next to him. They whispered with each other as they started to point their fingers on Yoo Bi. Luhan gazed emptily on Yoo Bi too but when he saw Yoo Bi was looking nowhere but on him, Luhan slowly nodded his head –encouraging her in silence to resume walking toward him. So Yoo Bi braved herself and she bowed politely to the guests. Then she arranged her steps on the red carpet, made her way down the aisle to meet Luhan at its end.

But watching you stand alone...

All of my doubt, suddenly goes away somehow...

One step closer...

Yoo Bi couldn’t help but to feel her legs trembled like mad inside her gown. She kept on praying in her heart that her legs won’t fail her until she get to Luhan. But magically when she saw how intense Luhan was staring at her, waiting for her at the aisle...she felt a bit calm and she fastened her steps to quickly reach him.

I have died everyday waiting for you...

Darlin’ don’t be afraid, I have loved for a thousand years...

I’ll love you for a thousand more...

Time stands still...

Beauty in all, she is...

I will be brave...

I will not let anything take away what’s standing in front of me...

Every breath, every hour has come to this...

One step closer...

Luhan slowly felt that the time did froze when he saw Yoo Bi’s bright eyes staring closely to him. But her eyes wasn’t glittered because of the happiness. Luhan knew that it were tears and sadness which filled her eyes. It clearly reflected her wounded heart because she was forced to marry him. Nonetheless, she still looked breathtakingly beautiful in her wedding dress. Well, Luhan always saw Yoo Bi as someone pretty after all this time. That was why, he decided to protect her. No matter as her brother or as her husband, Luhan will protect her. He won’t let anything to hurt her again after this. Luhan silently etched that promise inside his heart as Yoo Bi had came closer and closer to him.

I have died everyday waiting for you...

Darlin’ don’t be afraid, I have loved for a thousand years...

I’ll love you for a thousand more...

And all along, I believed I would find you...

Time has brought your heart to me...

I have loved you for a thousand years...

I’ll love you for a thousand more...

And the sweet melody from the song slowly descending to stop when Yoo Bi finally reached the aisle. She stopped walking in front of the stage as she gazed up toward Luhan. Luhan stared down at her too but suddenly someone came running toward the bride.

“Yoo Bi ah...please tell me this isn’t true...you’re not the bride! You can’t marry him! You’re not going to marry him! Please, tell me...tell me, Lee Yoo Bi!!!”, Sehun had started to ambush her with those questions but when she tried to open , answering him who stood next to her, Yoo Bi felt her arm being touched by another person. Yoo Bi glanced around and saw Mr. Lee was shaking his head to her. Yoo Bi understand that he was signaling to her to not telling Sehun anything about it. But Sehun kept on forcing her with questions and it made Yoo Bi to start shedding tears again so Mr. Lee quickly ordered the bestmen to drag Sehun away from the occasion.

“No, no! Yoo Bi ah! Don’t do this to me! You can’t marry him! I am your boyfriend! You can’t...”, Yoo Bi could only watched brokenheartedly as Sehun’s voice faded from afar of the garden. He was gone, not just from the occasion but also from her life. Yoo Bi thought sadly as another tear dropped to her cheek. Mr. Lee patted his daughter as he handed her the bridal bouquet. Yoo Bi watched the lily-of-the-valley laced with sprayed of crytal rhinestones and cuffed with gardenias in emptiness before Luhan was the one who grabbed hold of the bouquet. Slowly, Yoo Bi stared up to him as he walked closer to the edge of the stage. He offered his hand to her, inviting her to get on the stage with him before Yoo Bi gulped down her sorrow and moved to take his hand. She stood next to him, facing the pastor as Luhan opened her palm to hold the bouquet. Yoo Bi gripped on it as she glanced sideway again to Luhan. Her tears still clinged on her cheeks so Luhan streched his hands toward her face. Gently, he wiped off her tears with his fingers before they were ready to face the pastor. They stood side by side there as the pastor cleared his throat.

“First, let me welcome all the guests today that had come to give away our bless on this lovely couple of...”, he paused for awhile as he took a quick glance on the speech paper. The pastor slowly sighing under his breath. His earlier speech had been changed by Mr. Lee and even though he felt weird about it, he was only hired to be their pastor to lead the wedding, not to complain about anything so he resumed reading his speech. “...lovely couple of Mr. Luhan and Miss Lee Yoo Bi...”

The crowd started to whisper among them again when he annouced the bride’s name. Yoo Bi started to weaken on her body but Luhan was fast enough to support her as he circled one arm around her waist, hugging her body closer to him. Yoo Bi glanced to him, even in the middle of this awkward situation his brotherly manners never failed to serve her for the best. The pastor turned to look at Luhan.

“Now, Mr. Luhan...please face your bride and utter out your vow...”, he instructed him as Luhan nodded slowly. He let go of her waist but he still kept his grip on her arms. They turned to face each other as their eyes locked deeply on their respective faces. Luhan inhaled, ready to voice out his marriage vow and Yoo Bi bit her lips, listening to her noisy heartbeats that rang inside her ears.

“Lee Yoo Bi...”, he started it by saying her name.

“From the moment I first saw you, I knew you were the one with whom I wanted to share my life...your beauty, heart, and mind inspire me to be the best person I can be...I promise to love you for eternity, respecting you, honoring you, being faithful to you and sharing my life with you...this is my solemn vow...”, Luhan finished his vow at once as the pastor nodded his head to him. Then he turned toward Yoo Bi instead.

“Your vow, Miss Lee???”, he asked her to take turn in reading the vow but Yoo Bi gulped. She never remember any vow since this wedding wasn’t her wedding in first place. She never memorize or prepare anything for it so she hesitated to say something for awhile. But then she felt Luhan gripped tighter on her arms, giving her his silence strength to be brave so she finally exhaled out the air.

“I...I do...”, she continued to give her answer and Luhan nodded too.

“I do...”, he followed her action, declaring their agreement on this marriage so the pastor never say anything to go against it. He just nodded his head and shifted his body to face the crowd again.

“Now, I hereby declaring Mr. Lu and Mrs. Lu as an official married couple...congratulation!”, he announced and the guests hesitated at the beginning to start clapping their hands but after Mr. Lee and Mrs. Lee leaded them first, they ended up giving away roaring applauses for the couple. Luhan and Yoo Bi turned their bodies to face them and they bowed simultaneously.

“Mr. Luhan...you may kiss the bride...”, the pastor said again, making Luhan and Yoo Bi to freeze on their legs. Luhan cracked his head sideway to look at Yoo Bi while Yoo Bi was frowning toward the crowd.

“Kiss her! Kiss her! Kiss her!”, the guests were supporting them too. So Luhan though that he had no other choice. He spun his body toward Yoo Bi but she never make a move to face him. Luhan sighed, slowly shaking his head but he reached out his hands to turn her shoulders so that she was facing him too. Yoo Bi frowned even more to him. Luhan smiled down to her and he learned forward toward Yoo Bi. He landed his lips on her forehead, kissing her brotherly but Mr. Lee cleared his throat from behind them. Luhan broke off from Yoo Bi and they darted their eyes to look at their father.

“Wear these rings and, Luhan...kiss her properly...”, he urged on them, making Luhan to blink in confusion while Yoo Bi was rolling her eyes. The bridesmaid came to bring them the rings and Luhan took it first. He slipped it on Yoo Bi’ finger before Yoo Bi did the same to him. They stared bitterly on those rings circled around their fingers now. They are married but the rings weren’t belong to them in real. But...now, there was no more turning back for both of them so Luhan slowly gazed again to Yoo Bi. She looked very sad and disappointed as she still have her eyes on the ring.

“Yoo Bi ah...”, Luhan called out to her.

“Hmmm...”, she was startled and she quickly dropped her hand to look at him.

“Close your eyes...”, he told her.

“Huh???”, she asked in confused, eyeing around them in anxious but the crowd seems to focus intensely on them. There were so many expressions on their faces –some of them looked happy, some of them also looked sad and angry or maybe confused with this weird wedding. Finally, Yoo Bi didn’t know where to put her eyes on so she turned back to Luhan. She peered into his eyes for a minute before she sighed and closed her eyes like he asked her to. Luhan inhaled deeply once he saw she did it and he learned once again toward her. Yoo Bi suddenly stiffened her body when she felt his lips met hers. They lastly kissed, a kiss to seal their vow...but can their marriage actually last until the end? No one ever know it.

“Em...miss, miss! Wait! You can’t simply enter here!”, Go Ara hissed to the worker when she stopped her from entering the training center. She glared to her as she put her hands on her hips.

“Please...I’m not intentionally want to in my here...I just need to find someone...it’s an emergency!”, Ara snapped at her and the girl frowned.

“Emergency? Then why don’t you call that person first? Ask him to meet you out here because the training center is private and confidential for the trainees only...”, she suggested to her but Ara chuckled.

“Please…imagine that you’re in emergency, do you really wish for someone to urge you about the proper procedure and all???”, Ara simply asked her, making the girl to hesitate for awhile. Staring at her confused face like that, Ara nodded.

“The answer is no, right??? Good, so now…let me through!”, she pressed before she intentionally bumped to her shoulder and made her way into the main entrance of the training center. Once Ara got into it, she cornered around toward the dance practice room. She saw a young boy, walking out from the door so Ara hastily ran to him and grabbed his sleeve. The boy turned and frowned down to Ara questioningly. “Who are you?”

“Em…nobody! I just want to know…do you see Zhang Yixing sshi anywhere around here???”, Ara asked him, waving her hands widely to indicate about the area around them. The boy frowned even more right now.

“Zhang Yixing?”, he said, narrowing his eyes as he tried to recall anyone among the trainees with that name. Ara clicked her tongue impatiently.

“Or…Lay maybe?”, she guessed again and the boy nodded, clicking his fingers as his mind finally placed in complete pieces again.

“Yeah…Lay’s real name is Zhang Yixing…huhu…pardon me that I forgot about it…”, he explained while smiling to Ara. She grinned too but then her smile froze again on her lips.

“So, where is he???”, she forced on the matter. The boy tilted his head toward another room at the end of the corridor.

“I think I saw him entered that room just now…”, he answered and pointed his finger to the direction. Ara smiled in satisfaction before she waved to the boy. “Thanks!”

Before he managed to reply anything back, she had started to run toward the room. The boy eyed her in amusement because of her clumsiness but he chose to ignore her as he resumed walking to another way. Ara finally stopped in front of the room. She chuckled to the door.

“What is he doing in this instruments room???”, she questioned to herself as she stared on a board hung on the door. She sighed, shaking her head but then she moved her hand to pull on the knob. That was when Ara was paused from doing so as she caught voices of people talking to each other.

“I’m so sorry, Tiffany sshi…but can you explain to me…what is actually happened last night??? Why are we sleeping in that hotel room?”, Ara heard a man was asking and it clicked her to whom the voice belong to. It must be Lay who was just asking that suspicious questions. Ara was automatically frowning to herself. “Last night? Hotel room?”, she asked alone.

“Aigoo, Zhang sshi…do you really want me to tell you about that??? It is so embarrassing!”, Tiffany pouted as she walked to stand closer to Lay. He bit his lips in frustration but he quickly inched his body from her.

“Sorry…but I think this is too overdue…we need to watch our relation with each other, Tiffany sshi…you’re a famous idol…and I just started to build my career…we can’t ruin our image…”, Lay reasoned out in serious tone to her but Tiffany laughed wickedly.

“Aigoo…you’re obviously a beginner in this industry…do you really think that all the idols are good in their manners??? Please…we are only human, Zhang sshi…we need a life too…”, Tiffany replied as she moved forward to him. She stopped before him as Lay watched her holding up her fingers to linger it on his chest. “…and having you in a bed with me like last night is the best life that I can have…”, she whispered seductively to him as Lay gulped down his throat. So something did happen between them. Lay concluded in his mind and the guiltiness overwhelming inside him too. He shook his head as he walked past her, making Tiffany to drop her hand from touching him. She turned to look at him over her shoulder. Lay had walking until he stopped before the door. He sighed heavily.

“No matter whatever happened between us last night…I hope you will forget it, Tiffany sshi…we are just co-workers right now…not more than that…”, he told her and pushed the door to get out. Tiffany chuckled as she watched the door was slammed closed again. She rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms in front of her body.

“Please…there is nothing weird happen between us, okay? You just meant to be drunk last night! And I brought you there…hmmm…but it’s okay if you take it that way…then I can always use that thought to keep you with me…”, Tiffany mumbled to herself as she cracked a very seducing but evil smile on her lips.

“Haisshhh…”, Lay exhaled heavily as he rubbed the back of his neck in mixture of frustration and anger to himself. He knew that he was the one who should be blame in this case. If something serious occur to Tiffany, like…like she is…pregnant…then Lay would have to be responsible on the child. Then he thought again. How about Ara if she knows about this??? How could she handle it, knowing that her husband is making some other woman to pregnant??? Lay shrugged in scare –he was thinking too far and too much. Then he arranged his steps to enter the dance practice room again and he was stopped by someone who appeared so suddenly in front of him. Lay stared down on that pair of sneakers but he just bowed down to that person, never bother to raise his head and take a look on her.

“Excuse me…”, he said and moved aside to walk pass her but she followed his way to block him again. Lay frowned and sighed loudly. “Excuse me, I’m trying to walk here!”, he exclaimed and gazed up but his eyes grew wider once he saw Ara was standing before him. She stared on him with such murderous eyes that Lay felt he could sink into it in any minute more. He gulped down his throat as Ara bit her lips, bottling up her anger toward this boy.

“Ara ah…what…what are you doing here?”, Lay started to ask but Ara cursed under her breath. She shook her head and poked out her hand to it inside his pockets. Lay was shock but he froze under her touch and he let her travelled to investigate his body.

“Yah…what…what…what are you looking for???”, he asked as Ara moved from checking his right pocket to his left pocket. Once she found what she was looking for, Ara grabbed that thing out. She glared at him as Lay watched her clicking freely on the screen of his phone. She gritted her teeth in anger when she realized that Lay had been switching off his phone after all this time. She quickly turned it on back and she checked on the contact list too. Then she shoved it aggressively toward Lay, making him to jump a bit in surprise of her action. Ara was staring at him with such scary look.

“See this! Read each of it!”, she ordered him and Lay slowly picked that phone from her. He moved his eyes down to the screen and he was startled to see the non-stoppable incoming miscalls from his grandpa, Ms. Kyung and Ara herself! Quickly, he raised his head to look at her again.

“What…what is actually happening? Why is everyone was calling for me???”, he asked her absentmindedly as Ara hissed in anger.

“I don’t have to explain to you why on Earth people are busy enough to look for you…I know that you’re a very, extremely, definitely…’busy person’…but I guess I have one vital thing to ask from you…at least, please…try to escape yourself from your superstar’s daily life because behind all of it…there is someone who keep on waiting for you…so don’t disappoint your grandpa while he is still have his breath to long for his only grandson!”, Ara blabbered to him, making Lay to blink in confusion once he understand the whole situation right now. Ara shook her head when she looked at his puzzled face.

“Excuse me…”, she pardoned herself and she started to walk away from there. Lay could only watch her helplessly from behind because he found himself struck by the news. But as she made her way to leave the training center, she stopped by the door to glance at Lay again.

“I know it…I understand that you want to enjoy your love story between you and Tiffany sshi…but please…do remember about somebody else who used to exist in your life earlier…before you have all these fantasy things of being an artist…”, she ambushed him about the conversation between Lay and Tiffany that she heard from inside the room just now.

“What???”, Lay frowned even more but he didn’t manage to say anything back when Ara had already made her way to exit that center. Lay was left to stand motionless there as he gazed emptily on the door where Ara had walked away from him just now. He gulped down the bitterness. What kind of love story that she told him??? He never has a love story between Tiffany and him. Lay thought in despair, sighing loudly as he didn’t aware of someone standing behind him. Tiffany smirked toward the door where the strange girl disappeared just now. She scolded him like they have a close relationship with each other. Tiffany was annoyed about it and she is going to find out more about that girl met with Lay just now.

Sooyoung rolled her eyes upon staring up to the big luxurious villa.

“I can’t believe it that they are really pampering her as the so called first daughter in law!”, she cursed alone before she grabbed her phone from inside her handbag. She dialed on a number.

“Hello?”, a voice of a man answered her.

“Yah! I’m going in right now…make sure you finish your duty…drag her out from this house!”, she commanded on that person as she snapped closed her phone at once. Lee Joon frowned, looking down on his phone before he too was closing his phone back. He glanced sideway to the door of someone’s bedroom to his right –So Eun’s bedroom.  Inside, So Eun was in the middle of surfing the internet. She sat on a chair around her coffee table as she fixed her eyes on a laptop situated on that table. She sang in complete ease to herself, humming slowly as she scrolled down the button to read on a webpage of an online clothes store.

“Hmmm….amazing…their stuff is unexpectedly cheap…good…”, So Eun commented and she shifted the page to browse on another specific section inside the online shop. She clicked the cursor on the underwear section. She grinned and giggled to herself.

“It has been quite awhile since I buy for my new underwear and all…hmm…since I’m living alone in this biiigggg floor, so why can I have some lingerie to wear during the night??? That might be more comfortable!”, she suggested to herself, started to check on the pictures of advertised lingerie. But then she held up her hands in surrender as she quickly shook her head.

“No! I am sooo wrong!!! I’m not living alone here! I have that ert creature named Kris!! And he is staying at the third floor! That is too near from me! Yeah, I can’t wear this lingerie!”, she was doubting on the matter as she bit her lips. But when So Eun got her eyes on cute fluffy lingerie, colored in soft purple –she was now having the third thought!

“Hmmm…let’s see…how about the price?”, she asked and she enlarged on the lingerie’s photo to take a closer look on its details.

“Aigoo…I know that Lingerie Mart is a very outstanding underwear company around the world…so how can this person sell this thing online in a very cheap cost??? Hmm…maybe she is desperate to have money…who is it??? Go Ara sshi??? Haha…you should wear this for your own first night, missy!”, So Eun commented to the screen again but as she stared on the photo of the lingerie, she frowned again. So Eun leaned her body on the chair as she rubbed her chin, deep in her mind calculating.

“But…if I don’t buy this…it will be a waste since who would offer such a cute lingerie in low price, isn’t it??? Plus, the brand…it’s really popular and limited edition!”, So Eun mumbled to herself again and she finally clicked her fingers in agreement.

“Fine! I’ll buy it! Kris can’t stop me…it’s my money, my clothes and I don’t even have a single thought to have such idea like first night with him! So, yeah…it is safe enough!”, she encouraged herself and moved to click on the purchase section. As So Eun was focused to fill in the order form, someone knocked on her room.

“Yes???”, she shouted without even budged away her face from looking on the screen.

“May I see you, So Eun sshi?”, she heard Lee Joon’s voice from behind of the door. So Eun stopped typing and she frowned to herself.

“Lee oppa??? Hasn’t he get back yet???”, she questioned alone but she got up from the chair to walk straight toward the door. She slightly opened the door and poked out her head. Lee Joon was there, waiting next to her door. He was resting his tall body on the wall but he quickly stood straight again when he saw So Eun there. She curved a smile at him. “Yes, Lee oppa??? Anything that I can help you?”

“Emm…I…I’m wondering if I can stay here in your house tonight??? Because my house…”, he tried to explain to her but So Eun had already shook her head.

“Of course you can, oppa…this house have so many empty rooms…you can pick any of it to sleep tonight…feel free to choose neither in my floor, the second one or the third floor!”, So Eun gave her permission easily and Lee Joon bowed to her.

“Thanks…”, he said and So Eun grinned.

“You’re welcome!”, she replied and wanted to close the door again but Lee Joon stopped her by placing his hand on her door, blocking her from closing it back. So Eun paused in her movement and she blinked to him. “What is it, oppa?”

“Em…what are you doing inside???”, he asked and slightly poked his head to look in her room. So Eun glanced around, following his gesture too but then she laughed and quickly pushed her body to be out of the room.

“Hahaha…nothing actually…I’m just browsing the internet…checking on my favorite K-pop group…”, she lied to him as she closed the door of her room. She couldn’t possibly confess to him that she was in the middle of buying lingerie, right??? That would be too embarrassing! Lee Joon nodded and So Eun shifted her eyes toward the stairs. Suddenly, she remembered something.

“Oh, yes! Lee oppa…have you take your dinner???”, she suddenly asked him and Lee Joon simply shook his head. “Not yet…why?”, he asked and So Eun winked at him.

“Good…so for tonight, let me treat you! I’ll cook something delicious for you as a thank you present because you and Kim oppa had accompanied me in Japan, right???”, she told him but Lee Joon laughed and shook his head again.

“No…it’s part of our duty…so you don’t have to bother yourself, miss…”, he refused but So Eun pouted and started to pull his hand to walk down toward the ground floor.

“Please…just take it as my gratitude for your care…plus, I need to cook again…if not, I’ll lose my skill!”, So Eun explained to him but Lee Joon smirked playfully.

“Can you actually cook, So Eun sshi???”, he and So Eun rolled her eyes.

“Don’t doubt my skill…I’m an expert in this, okay???”, she commented back and they broke into loud laughter. That was when they came to stop on top of the staircase and both of them heard the sound of the house’s bell, rang loudly into the whole living room. So Eun turned to look questioningly toward Lee Joon but she caught sight of Kris instead. He was walking down from the third floor from behind of where Lee Joon was standing. He stopped on his track too when he raised his head and saw So Eun with Lee Joon there. They stared to each other for awhile before Kris cleared his throat and resumed walking down the stairs.

“Where are you going?”, So Eun opened , asking him.

“I have a guest tonight…”, he shortly answered her without even turning to her. So Eun and Lee Joon watched in silence as Kris walked over to the main giant door and he opened the door for someone. So Eun narrowed her eyes, eager to check on the person that will become his guest. Then she saw a tall, slender girl stepped in from behind the door. Kris closed the door back as Sooyoung gazed up toward So Eun and Lee Joon. She smiled beautifully on them.

“Hi…sorry that I suddenly came here…it just that I heard both of you had moved in here…so I thought about check on your new house…I didn’t know that this house can be this amazing!”, Sooyoung greeted her calmingly, acting like there was nothing happen between her, So Eun and Kris before this as she waved her hands extravagantly around the living room. Slowly, So Eun tried to curve a smile for her but she didn’t know why it is so hard for her to do so. But she still put on a thin curve on her lips, faking the welcoming smile for her.

“No, it’s totally fine…welcome to our home then…not exactly my home actually…it was bought by my father in law…”, So Eun told her and Sooyoung blended a small smirk between her smile.

“Yeah…it’s great to be someone love by everyone…”, she commented sarcastically on her and Kris tugged her on her arm.

“Come on…let’s seat on the couch…”, he suggested but Sooyoung ignored him and she pointed her finger toward Lee Joon instead.

“What a handsome man you got with you…mind to introduce him to me?”, she asked her as So Eun shifted her eyes to Lee Joon. He was narrowing his eyes meaningfully toward Sooyoung. So Eun sighed and she looked back to Sooyoung.

“Meet my bodyguard, Lee Joon sshi…”, she said and patted Lee Joon on his shoulder. Lee Joon nodded to Sooyoung as he bowed for their ‘first meeting’ with each other. Sooyoung grinned and clapped her hands cheerfully.

“Wow! I envy you, So Eun sshi…you have such a gorgeous caretaker with you! You should be grateful with it…”, Sooyoung commented on her and So Eun smiled with a nod.

“Thanks…of course I am…well, take your time then…excuse us first…”, she cut their conversation and So Eun bowed down to Sooyoung before she started to walk down the stairs again. Lee Joon tailed her until they gone to the way that lead straight to the kitchen. Once they were out from her sight, Sooyoung smiled in satisfaction and she turned her body to Kris again.

“Honey, let’s take a seat…”, she said, touching his arm but Kris was still frowning alone as he lost for word when he saw his wife was walking away from him with another man. Sooyoung read his expression but she quickly slipped her arm under Kris’s and dragged them toward the couch.

“Now, tell me honestly…where are you going along this past fortnight??? I tried to contact you but nothing can link me to you…why??? Where are you actually???”, Sooyoung poured him with questions once they landed their butts side by side on the couch. Kris shrugged but he slowly shook his head.

“Nothing…I was just gone to Japan…dealing with the works…”, he said to her and took a quick glance toward the kitchen. He was dying to check on So Eun and Lee Joon there. Sooyoung caught his worried face so she immediately changed the topic, trying to gain his attention on her back.

“Kris…I want to show you something…”, she said and zipped off her handbag. Kris turned to look at her again.

“What is it???”, he asked, learning forward to her. Sooyoung winked as she took out a piece of small paper from the bag. She pushed it to Kris and he opened his palm for Sooyoung to place it on his hand.

“It’s my baby’s scanning again…”, she told him and Kris fixed his eyes on the scanned picture of the little life inside Sooyoung’s belly. He smiled on it.

“How small…”, he commented and Sooyoung laughed.

“Yeah…but even if I don’t really realize it, this baby have grown in me for two months…two months, Kris…and he doesn’t even have his father yet…”, Sooyoung said with her weak tone, pleading for his sympathy. Kris gulped down his throat and he gazed up to her. Sooyoung was staring on that picture with teary eyes as she rubbed her stomach gently. He felt the guiltiness in him but what can he do to help her??? He can’t be a dad to this innocent baby because…because he had married to another girl.

Inside the kitchen, Lee Joon sat around the dining table as he watched So Eun who walked around the wet kitchen. She had now wearing the apron to cover her clothes as she moved busily to open the refrigerator and search for the ingredient to prepare the dinner for him. So Eun grabbed out some cabbage and she walked over to the sink.

“Lee oppa… Why don’t you call Kim oppa and ask him to come around too??? Then we can enjoy the meal together!”, she told him loudly as Lee Joon chuckled.

“You’re talking to me like I’m a few kilometers from you…I heard you, you know? I’m not deaf!”, he replied and they laughed.

“Nah…just to make sure that my order is clear for you…”, So Eun said teasingly and Lee Joon smirked.

“Fine…your wish is my command…”, he commented back and pulled out his phone to start calling for Kim Si Hoo. But then he stopped halfway and peered back to So Eun. She was now standing at the kitchen counter as she started to coop on the vegetable just now. Honestly, he didn’t feel like sharing So Eun with Si Hoo so he closed his phone back and got up from his seat. Lee Joon walked over to enter the wet kitchen as So Eun concentrated on her job. She looked so professional when she cut the cabbage smoothly but once she accidently set her eyes on her wedding ring, she yelled in pain.

“Ouch!”, So Eun said and dropped down the knife that she held. She just cut her middle finger when she was so intense in staring on her wedding ring.

“So Eun sshi!”, Lee Joon called out in panic and he hastily picked up his paces to stand by her side. He grabbed hold of her hand as he narrowed his eyes on her bleeding finger. So Eun flinched in pain when Lee Joon suddenly brought her finger toward his mouth. So Eun blinked to him as he her finger to stop the blood flowing.

“Lee…Lee oppa…never mind…I can use the ice cube…”, she said but he had already finished on her blood and now he covered the cut with a piece of tissue.

“Come, sit…”, he instructed her and pulled her shoulders to leave the counter and walked out toward the dining table. He motioned So Eun to sit on the chair before he ran back into the wet kitchen to find first aid kit.

“So Eun sshi…where do you put the kit???”, he asked her as he ran around and pulled opened each of the cabinet to search for it. So Eun eyed him in confusion before she sighed and endured the pain on her finger.

“Try to look inside the brown cupboard…”, she told him and Lee Joon immediately did as she said. So Eun frowned even more right now. She just cut a little spot on her finger so what was there to be fuss around huh??? She thought dully as Lee Joon ran back to her with the kit in his hand. He kneeled down before her and started to medicate her finger. So Eun watched silently as Lee Joon opened the box and brought out the iodine bottle with some cotton. He cleaned the scar and put on the medicine. Then he securely wrapped her finger with the plaster. Even when Lee Joon was the one who sat in front of her, So Eun strangely saw someone else in her eyes –Kris. Her mind suddenly flicked back on the time when Kris medicated her bruised wrist too. She could still remember his gentleness during that time and she weirdly missed it to enjoy his warm and soft treatment on her. So Eun darted her eyes on the ring around her finger. She is happy and still felt happy right now when she woke up inside the train and saw that this ring was back to her. Kris had secretly put it back for her even though he tried to avoid from telling her the truth. Kris just went on giving ridiculous excuses like that ring magically poked out from the air and slipped itself around her finger or So Eun had summoned the ring back to her in her sleep on that train. So Eun laughed at her thought and Lee Joon looked up to her when he heard her.

“What is so funny???”, he asked, finally finished with her cut. He closed the kit again.

“Kris…he is funny…”, So Eun answered truthfully and Lee Joon stared with frown on her smiling face.

“Don’t you think he is funny too??? He slipped this ring for me yet now, he invited his girlfriend to our house!”, So Eun nagged to him, showing her finger with that ring to Lee Joon and she stuck out her tongue toward the kitchen main door that lead to the living room, the place where Kris was staying with Sooyoung right now. Lee Joon let go of a long sigh but So Eun shook her head.

“What am I thinking??? I should get going…or not Kim oppa can’t eat with us when he come later…”, So Eun pushed out the jealousy thought in her mind as she got uo from the seat to walk back into the wet kitchen. Lee Joon stood up too and he was fast enough to hold her arm, making her to stop on her feet. So Eun paused without even looking at him.

“Don’t lie to yourself anymore…I know that you can’t concentrate on anything when you know that Kris is with Sooyoung in this house…”, Lee Joon told her but she chuckled and let her hand off from him.

“No…I’m totally fine…let’s cook…”, she said to him but Lee Joon hissed and stopped her again. He spun her body around to make So Eun face him for real.

“No, you’re NOT fine! So let’s get out from this hell…”, Lee Joon said stubbornly to her and he slipped his hand with hers. He entwined their hands as he started to drag So Eun walking with him.

“Lee oppa…where are we going???”, she tried to ask but he already brought her out from the kitchen. They walked hand in hand to pass the living room.

“I’ll go and get you a drink…”, Kris said and he excused himself from Sooyoung to enter the kitchen. But his real intention was to peek at So Eun and Lee Joon. Sooyoung made no move to stop him because she had already caught sight of So Eun and Lee Joon from behind Kris. She just smiled sarcastically to Kris as she yelled a silence ‘YAY’ in her mind as her plan started to work now. When Kris turned his body to walk there, he stopped halfway as his eyes fell on the two. So Eun and Lee Joon stopped walking too but when So Eun tried to pull her hand from him, she felt Lee Joon was tightening his grip on their entwined hands. Kris narrowed his eyes on them, feeling the sudden burning flame inside his head and heart. Lee Joon replied his stares with equal stern look too.

“Pardon us…but I’m taking So Eun sshi out for awhile…we will be back before midnight…”, he told him and bowed down to Kris. Then he resumed dragging So Eun to follow him along. So Eun tried to open , refusing to him but when she saw Sooyoung stood up and she hugged Kris around his waist from behind, she buried her wish dead in her heart. Kris stood motionless too and he could only watch when his wife disappeared with Lee Joon from behind of the main door. He bit his lips, feeling the ache hurting his heart little by little, weakening him.

“See…Kris, she is happy with another man…you shouldn’t take her as your wife in first place, you know…”, Sooyoung whispered to him from behind but Kris chose to stay silence. He closed his eyes, gathering his patience over this entire crazy thing among them. Why is it so hard for him to stop her from walking out the door just now??? Kris hopes that the time could be reverse again but of course, that would be too impossible for him.

“Hello, Kim Si Hoo!!! Come here and meet us at the theme park! We are going to enter the ghost mansion together! Lee oppa is here too so do come here quickly!!!”, So Eun yelled to the phone, followed by her and Lee Joon’s booming laughter. Si Hoo distanced his phone from his ear.

“What??? You guys are at the theme park at this hour??? Why???”, he asked her, rolling his eyes.

“Well…theme park is for the stress people! And I’m in stress right now! So as my obedient bodyguard, you have to be stress with me too!!! Okay??? Do you hear me, Kim oppa???”, So Eun yelled between her laughter again and Si Hoo shook his head. But he laughed, amused by So Eun’s kiddy act.

“Fine…I’ll be there…wait for me…I don’t want to miss the excitement to enter the ghost mansion…”, Si Hoo replied to her and So Eun cheered.

“YAY!!! Quickly come here!! The banshee is waiting for you!!! AHHHH!!!”, she screamed on top of her lungs, imitating the scream of the scary banshee. Si Hoo once again has to shove away the phone farther from his ear. He laughed too and clicked to off the line. Lee Joon shook his head as he watched So Eun laughed like mad on the phone.

“HAHAHAHAHA!!! What a slow poke, this Kim oppa!”, she commented and threw the phone toward Lee Joon. Hastily, he has to catch it to prevent the phone from falling down to the road. He sighed in relief once he managed to do so, clutching the phone in his hands.

“Yah! Careful, will you??? This phone of yours is so expensive!”, he scolded her but So Eun pouted and jumped to sit on the rail at the back of them. They were in the night theme park, standing in front of the ghost mansion as they waited for Si Hoo to come and join them.

“I don’t mind if the phone get broken or something…Kris can always buy the new one for me…he is a rich man…all made with money!”, she commented again before she hissed angrily. Lee Joon raised his eyebrow at her angry beautiful face and he came to stand next to her.

“Why??? What make you so angry???”, he tried to guess on her, testing her to see how far So Eun got her feeling toward Kris. He needs to know it in order to be a perfect heartbreaker for So Eun. Then only his plan will work. So Eun sighed slowly, throwing her eyes up to the night sky.

“I’m angry to myself…”, she answered him shortly and Lee Joon frowned.

“To yourself…why???”

“Because I keep on hoping for him…I’m hoping for him to see me…I’m hoping for him to realize that I am there…I’m hoping for him to hear me out…yet, I know completely that he won’t come…because he already have her in his heart…with him…”, So Eun said bitterly as she inhaled a long breath, preventing herself from crying again. She had cried too much for Kris even though their marriage was only declared in less than a month. Lee Joon stared at her sideway face in emptiness. He felt his heart started to ache in sympathy for this girl. Yet it was also clear to him that the more she was hurt by Kris, the more it benefit to him –he can easily break her heart after she fall in love with him later. Two in one combo, how cool is that??? Lee Joon thought to himself and he heard So Eun sighed again.

“Tell me, Lee oppa…how can I throw him away from my mind???”, she asked for his idea and Lee Joon came to stand straight in front of her.

“Do you love him?”, he asked So Eun. She quickly gazed up to him and she frowned.

“What???”, she barely digested what was asked by Lee Joon just now. He focused his eyes intensely on her.

“I’m asking you…do you love Kris???”, he repeated his question and it was clearer to So Eun now. She laughed in disbelief as she shook her head.

“What kind of question is that??? Of course I’m not!”

“Then why do you want to get him out of your mind??? Is he too troublesome to you??? Is he bothering your heart???”, he pushed her with those deadly questions and So Eun finally held up her hands in front of her body. She surrendered to him as she bit her lips in silence anger –that questions just now started to bite her brain inside.

“Fine! Let’s not talk about this anymore…we should go and buy the tickets first before Kim oppa is here…”, So Eun avoided the topic and started to walk away but Lee Joon caught her arm, making her to stop.

“I have the answer to your question…if you want to forget about Kris…then you need to fall in love…”, he told her suddenly. So Eun turned her head sideway to him.

“Pardon???”, she questioned him with weird face.

“Fall in love…with another man…”, Lee Joon finished his sentence and it earned a smirk from So Eun.

“That’s ridiculous…”, she replied back and pulled her arm to free from him. But before she manages to start walking again, she felt her body was spun by him. So Eun tried to open , asking him to stop talking about her matter with Kris but the next thing that she realized was her lips plastered on his lips –yeah, Lee Joon’s lips. So Eun widened her eyes in shock. She moved her hands to push him away but Lee Joon quickly trapped it and pulled her hands to lock around his waist, forcing her body to paste closer to him. Lee Joon himself closed his eyes and he held So Eun around her neck, kissing her tenderly. She lost her consciousness as they stood frozen there together.

“The ghost mansion… The ghost mansion…ah! There!”, Si Hoo said under his breath, looking around for that place to meet up with Lee Joon and So Eun. Once he saw the tall eerie building, he walked over to it. But he stopped when he saw a couple was deep in kissing each other.

“Aish…lovers today…”, he commented and wanted to resume walking but he stopped dead when he shifted his eyes toward them once again. They are not just an ordinary couple. They are Kim So Eun and Lee Joon! Si Hoo felt his jaw dropped opened widely when he fixed his eyes on them, still with their kissing position. Then his ears caught sound of something else from across of him.

“Kris! Look, the ghost mansion! Let’s get inside!”, Sooyoung cheered to Kris and she pulled him toward the ticket counter.

“Eh??? You want to enter the ghost house??? That is not good for pregnant woman…”, Kris reminded her and he prevented her from walking further away, he tugged on her sleeves to make her stopped on her legs. Sooyoung chuckled but she turned and smiled at him.

“So you do care for me?”, she asked him, winking. Kris laughed and looked away.

“Of course I…”, he wanted to reply her but he found himself stopped dead once his eyes fell on two figures, standing not very far from them. Sooyoung frowned up to him when he saw Kris’s face turned pale.

“What is it, babe??? Do you see the ghost???”, she asked him teasingly and followed his direction of sight. Then she fixed her eyes straight on So Eun and Lee Joon. Sooyoung grinned upon seeing them kissing each other.

“Well done, Lee Joon sshi!”, she congratulated inside her heart as she watched them in amusement. She turned her body to them and crossed her arms wickedly.

“Well…now we know why they’re so enjoy in going out with each other…”, she sang playfully but Kris had balled up his fists in total anger. This was too much for him!

Chapter 56: Oh my god really long story..but i enjoyed it but my eyes and neck are tired hahah and maybe because it was 3 stories in one ;) they all have unique and different story but same start..haha bride instead of planner, really nice idea..hha but hmm I was more of always eager to read luhan and yoobi's part..not saying other two were boring but luhan and yoobi's story idea i find it extra interesting..hmm any plan to make luhan n yoobi fic like you did with kris and so eun..coincidently I really like so eun since bof days :) and go ara since who are you? days ..well and tho I haven't watched yoobi's drama..I found her cutely charming..haha I enjoyed all the story but if krid never married sooyoung, why didn't he went to look for soeun? But it was cruel you know so eun had to divorce him that way..if I was so eun I guess I will never forgive anyone esp who suggested that idea..hahhah but thanks I had wonderful time reading :D
