Chapter 1 - "Marry me, my Love..."

The Wedding Planners

THE WEDDING PLANNERS

“I’m pregnant…”, the glass of wine that was held in his hand almost fell to the floor once he heard it. Luckily he was fast enough to grip the glass tighter and hastily put it back on the table. Kris looked up upon his girlfriend.

“What???”, he asked, barely opened his mouth since he felt his throat gone dry. This news was Earth-shaking to his heart. He never thought this kind of thing would happen in his relationship. No, it would happen if they had already got married but…they hadn’t. Plus, he and his girlfriend never, ever ‘did’ that. Kris gulped down his throat as he felt his head started to ache. He rubbed his forehead, eyes locked on her. Sooyoung hid her face down. She sat still as she kept her gazes on her lap, didn’t dare to look at Kris. Her hands gripped on the table’s curtain, twisting the laces in order to control her nervous heartbeats.

“Honey, tell me…is it true??? That…you’re…em…pregnant???”, Kris finally broke the silence between them before he cleared his throat, trying to adjust the words. Sooyoung slowly looked up to him. He was still calling her ‘honey’. That means he was still admitting her as his girlfriend, right??? So she silently breathed out in relief. Then she braced herself and nodded.

“Yes…I mean…I’m sorry…I’m terribly sorry…I regretted it more than you could tell, I would be…seriously, oppa…I’m so sorry…”, Sooyoung started to beg for forgiveness as her body was shaking madly. She was sobbing across the table, covering her face with her palms. Kris let go of a heavy sigh. He closed his eyes tight, trying to gather the patience in him. Seeing her crying made him felt he was the one at fault. He couldn’t protect her. He let this thing happened to her.

“How could this happen??? Who is the real father to that child???”, Kris asked again once he opened his eyes back. Sooyoung tried to calm herself, controlling the sobs so that she can answer him.

“He’s…he’s one of my bosses…we when for the employees’ party and we accidently…oppa, I swear I don’t remember what had happened! I just woke up and realized he was sleeping beside me…I…I…I’m so sorry…”, Sooyoung told him everything, let out the guilty in her. She knew that she needed to be true with Kris if she wanted him to stay with her, to stay by her side forever. She loved him. Of course she did. He was the most perfect man she ever met in her life. Everything was like a fairytale to her when this stunningly handsome and perfect prince charming turned out to be her boyfriend. When this incident happened, she even thought to murder herself. It was all because she was too deep in loving him. She couldn’t afford to live without him.

“That man is so dead! He better run far away while he can…because if he don’t, I’ll make sure his grave is place in front of my house!”, Kris snapped angrily as he rose his voice high. How that old brat could touch his lovely girlfriend??? For God’s sake!!! Kris himself never touched her! The farthest that they got in their physical relationship was kissing. Not more than that! Kris cursed again in his heart as he bit his lips. He didn’t even realize that he already balled up his hands into a fist.

“Kris oppa…I hope you don’t do anything to him…because I want to end all this bull…I just want to live happily, with you…I want to forget everything…”, Sooyoung said again as she wiped off her tears from her cheeks. Kris stared sternly at her, trying to find the sincerity in her eyes. He loved this girl. She was his first love. How could he ever abandon her??? Kris knew he needs to find a solution to this problem. He couldn’t just leave Sooyoung to deal with this alone. That little baby in her tummy was growing each day and second. He was alive. They couldn’t abandon that innocent soul.

“Oppa…what should I do??? I don’t know what to do with this baby…”, Kris heard Sooyoung asked him again as she patted her stomach gently. Her eyes had turned light red due to so many times of crying. Kris flinched a bit. He failed to make her happy so he needed to do something in order to repair the damage. He couldn’t let her suffer anymore. So Kris took a deep breath before he glanced up to Sooyoung, kept his sharp stares on her beautiful face. Sooyoung also blinked at him upon seeing his serious face. She gulped down , look scared.

“Marry me, baby…”, Kris suddenly whispered. Sooyoung opened , trying to reply something back but she was taken aback by his words. So they stayed stiff like that as Sooyoung started to cry again. The tears rolled down slowly to her cheeks, feeling the sudden pleasure filled up her whole heart.

A taxi stopped in front one of the lot among the long line of shops. A girl got out from it. She paid the driver before she gave him a dazzling little smile. He was stunned to see her glorious smile but she already turned away and walked approaching the shop. She pushed open the door that clearly written ‘Welcome to Dreamland’ on top of it. Once the bell hung at the door rang, a woman looked up to the girl. She smiled broadly and waved.

“Morning, darling!”, she greeted her and the earlier girl laughed at her. She walked over to her and put down a small brown plastic bag on a small table in front of the woman.

“Morning, aunty…here’s a little breakfast for you…I made it myself…”, the girl said as she winked playfully. The woman smiled but she took the plastic.

“Thanks…I wonder how it tastes…”, the woman replied again and that girl pouted.

“I’m hurt, Aunt Jung…seriously…”, she said as she patted her chest lightly and they both broke out laughing cheerfully. Aunt Jung had now walked out from the counter and came to seat on a white couch that situated across the counter. She dropped her on it and started to check out the food inside the bag. But then she remembered something so she glanced up to the girl that was now standing in front of the counter. Her hands busied scrolling on the screen of her smart phone.

“So Eun ah…you should check out our website…the newlyweds are sending their gratitude to you…it means, payment day!!!”, Aunt Jung cheered as she smiled and clapped her hands together. Kim So Eun laughed at her childish reaction but she nodded in agreement.

“Yeah…I’m checking it out now…it seems that Mr and Mrs. Kang like my idea about having their honeymoon in Japan…her wife love the flowers so much, right??? Sakura will bring the romantic feeling to the couple…”, So Eun commented back and laughed together again, remembering the trouble faced by their latest customer. Mr.Kang and his wife argued a lot before because they were caught up in confusion to choose the honeymoon venue. Thank God, there was this genius wedding planner. Kim So Eun always knew just what to do. She flipped close her phone and placed it back into her handbag. Then she grabbed out a long ribbon to tie up her shining wavy hair. It was tied up into high ponytail before she smiled at her own reflection inside the nearby mirror.

“Working time! Let’s get it all done!”, she said in high spirit as she clapped her hands loudly. It startled Aunt Jung, the keeper of this shop but she ignored her sharp stares as So Eun walked over to the door. She opened it slightly and reached out her hand to flipped back a little board on the door. The board twisted from ‘CLOSE’ to ‘OPEN’. Then So Eun looked up to the bright morning sky. She curved a happy smile. She loved her current life. She was just ended her studies a few months earlier and here she was, running a wedding shop as a planner. Her business has gone very smooth recently. Each of her customers satisfied with her services. Well she loved her job; of course she would do her best in planning every wedding. After all wedding was a beginning to someone’s new life so as a wedding planner, she shouldn’t disappoint them, right???

Suddenly So Eun heard her phone beeping so she ran back to get the phone. She flipped it open and there was a message in her inbox. She hastily pressed on the screen to read the message once she saw the ID number. It came from her beloved boyfriend, Kim Bum.

-Hi, sunshine! How’s your day this morning??? I hope everything will be fine…just wanna inform you that I had reached the Jeju island…ah, what should I do? I’m missing you already…can’t wait to be back at Seoul…kiss me through the phone, okay???

So Eun smiled and pouted once she finished reading it. She shook her head. “Sweet talk…”, she commented but then she breathed heavily. She was missing him too. She thought silently as she rubbed gently on the screen of her phone. There was a picture of them together on it. She was grateful that her life was this perfect. She had her job, family and boyfriend that really loved her. What else was missing??? Nothing.

“Welcome…”, So Eun was snapped out from her train of thoughts when she heard Aunt Jung greeted a person. So Eun turned around and smiled upon seeing a couple walked into her shop.

“Welcome to Dreamland…wishes for a perfect wedding??? Here is the right place!”, she said, imitating the voice of the model in the commercial clips. The customers laughed at her cute acting before So Eun motioned them to seat at the couch. Then she placed back her phone inside the bag and approached the couple, bringing along her thick notebook to seat with them.

“So…let’s get started…what can I help you? What should I call you both?”, So Eun started the discussion in her most business-like tone. The couple exchanged looks between them before they laughed shyly.

“Can we actually start to call ourselves as Mr and Mrs.Song?, the groom said to So Eun and she nodded in laugh.

“Sure you can…you guys are about to get married…come, let me help you about the occasion…”, So Eun replied again and they went on with their discussion about the wedding plan.

Luhan glanced to a side, eyeing the pretty side-face of a girl that sat next to him. Then he breathed out, gathered his courage before he slowly touched her hands. He grabbed it and tightened his grip on her hands. The girl laughed upon seeing their entwined hands.

“What is it, babe?”, she asked softly as she squeezed his palm gently, turning sideway to stare into his round eyes. Luhan once again let out a long sigh and locked his gazes on her too. They smiled to each other before the girl pouted.

“Luhan…I told you already…I’m only going there for a week…I’ve works to be finished…it’s not that I’m willing to leave you here…”, the girl explained and Luhan nodded.

“I know…I just…feeling bad about this…somehow my heart don’t want to let you go for this outstation…even when you had gone to many places before…”, Luhan replied as he laughed at his ridiculous feeling. The girl pouted at him but she let go of his hand. Instead she cupped his face with her hands and moved his face up to closely look at her. She smiled warmly, a smile that never failed to make Luhan’s heart racing like mad inside him. So he looked down, avoiding her stares to hide away his shyness.

“I’m promise you…I’ll be right back to Seoul after I finish all the works…you can always call me whenever you want…”, she said as she gave him a brief kiss on his lips and let go of his face. Then she looked back to the front and leaned back to her seat. Luhan finally nodded understandingly but he chuckled.

“I don’t really want to bother you but…I actually have something in mind to say it to you…”

“What? Like now?”, his girlfriend asked back and Luhan nodded at her.

“If you don’t mind…”, he added but the girl rolled her eyes.

“Okay, go on then…”, she agreed at once and Luhan breathed out nervously. His reaction made the girl laughed and shook her head.

“Whatever it is, Luhan…I’m more than ready to hear it…”, she concluded for him and Luhan winked at her.

“Thanks but it is a bit…difficult for me…”, he said and the girl threw her hands up to her head in frustration. But her laughter still could be heard by him so he was relief that she wasn’t mad at him.

“Then, what is it actually???”, she pressed on the matter impatiently. Luhan bit his lips in hesitation before he got up from his seat. Her eyes followed his movement absentmindedly before Luhan turned and kneeled down in front of her. He took both of her hands and placed them on his chest.

“Can you feel it?”, he asked her and she started to feel nervous seeing his weird acting.

“Ye…yeah…”, but she answered him shortly. She knew that he meant about the rapid beating of his heartbeats, it matched the beats in her own heart too. Luhan smiled upon hearing her answer.

“It has been beating like this since the day you came into my life…it is so overwhelming that I can’t take it anymore…”, he continued as the girl laughed sheepishly at him.

“Oh, please…not now, darling…I’m about to board on my flight…don’t make me miss it because of you…”, she as she leaned forward to rest her forehead on his. Luhan laughed along with her.

“Can’t help it…because my heart isn’t mine anymore…it is yours so…I think, we should stop this restless feeling…my heart need a break…”, Luhan said again but the girl had already sat straight back, eyeing him with accusation eyes.

“What do you mean by that??? Are you saying that you want to stop loving me???”, she accused him and Luhan smirked at her.

“Hey, relax baby…I meant it for something that opposite to it…”, Luhan replied and patted her cheek lightly but the girl pushed his hand away.

“Liar…”, she blurted out and looked away from him but Luhan shook his head, laughing.

“Believe me, sweetie…because I just wanna say that…let’s stay together forever…”, he finished his sentence as he pulled out something small from his pocket. He placed the thing in her palm that made the girl instantly looked down to it after felt the hardness of that thing. She grasped. It was a small box, colored in deep maroon. Immediately she gazed up to Luhan back. He curved his lips into a very meaningful and soft smile.

“Open it…”, he ordered and the girl robotically pulled open its cap. Her eyes glittered with white tears as she saw a pair of silver rings inside it. There was also a message craved on the box, little font that written, ‘Marry me, my lovely Lee Yoo Na…’. She was lost for words after finally understood his true meaning behind that cheesy speech. Yoo Na laughed and she quickly closed the box back. Then she grabbed his shoulders to hug him close to her. She rested her head on his broad chest.

“Thank you…”, she whispered to his shirt but Luhan chuckled and returned her hug, locked his hands around her small back.

“It’s not what I want to hear…”, he sung to her and Yoo Na pouted. But she let go of him to stare back into his dreamy eyes. She smiled.

“Yes, I do…let’s get married after I went back from the work..”, she agreed at once and they broke into cheerful laughter again. Luhan embraced her tight once again, didn’t want to let go of this happiness.

“Attention to all the passengers…the flight to the Jeju Island is about to board right now…please proceed to the boarding area…”, they suddenly heard the announcement so Luhan kissed her hair before he finally let her go. They got up together as Yoo Na opened back the box in her hands. She took out the bigger size of the rings and reached out for Luhan’s hand. She slipped in into his right finger and laughed, staring at the shining ring dreamily.

“My fiancée…”, she muttered to herself proudly as Luhan also took out another ring from the box and put it on for her.

“Be safe…because you’re mine now..”, Luhan whispered to her ear and she nodded, holding back her delightful tears. Then she pulled her case and started to walk away. Luhan stayed there, eyeing her approaching the boarding counter. Then Yoo Na stopped and slightly turned her head to him.

“Please take care of Yoo Bi while I’m gone…you know that kid, she’s a hyper-active virus…”, she commented and waved at him with wide smile.

“Don’t worry about her…”, Luhan said back with assurance smile and waved again at her. She kissed the ring on her finger and walked to the front again. Luhan followed her steps until she disappeared from the back of the wall. He blew out a relief sigh. He made it. He proposed to her and now he needed to think about the wedding plan.

Go Ara yawned widely as she stretched her hands and waist. Then she sat straight back on her chair. Suddenly she heard someone laughed wickedly from her back. She turned around.

“So I see now why you’re so happy to be here and lazing around…it is because you don’t have a single wedding to be planned…isn’t it???”, a girl, one of the planners in this company greeted her with sarcastic tone. She leaned on the vending machine as she took a sip on her coffee. Ara chuckled and rolled her eyes.

“Get lose…”, she simply replied her and got up to walk nearing the machine. She stood in front of it and pulled in her coins to order for her fifth cup of cappuccino. The latter smirked at her, eyeing Ara from head to toe. This girl seriously needed help in dressing up every day. She was a wedding planner but she never looked presentable for the clients. With her lousy jumper and faded jeans, she looked exactly like the cheap street performer. Maybe that was the vital reason why no one ever hires her. What can this kind of lame wedding planner can actually arrange for them??? The girl thought dully as she finished her drink and threw away the cup into the nearby dustbin. She glared at Ara that was now sitting on the table beside the vending machine, enjoying her cappuccino. She shook her head and put her hands on her hips.

“Yah! If you’re so free right now, why don’t you go and send some coffee to Ms.Park’s office??? She has customers waiting for her…don’t just enlarging your here!”, she exclaimed, finally scolded her. Ara stared at her innocently, blinking her eyes as the girl chuckled and walked away. When she disappeared, Ara jumped off from the table. She took her steps to the nearby glass wall before she stopped there, eyeing her reflection. She turned around for a few time before she stopped and cursed under her breath.

“Which part of my that look large??? This is an asset, okay??? It’s fine if it grow broader!”, she blurted out angrily as Ara patted her hard. Then, she sighed silently. Maybe that girl was right. If she kept on sitting around in this pantry room, her will grow larger…she rolled her eyes upon seeing her weak face before she walked back to the vending machine. Maybe she really needed to see Ms.Park, the planners’ leader so that she could ask her if there any wedding that she can handle. If she sat here and waited for the customers, maybe after the sun rose up from the West, then only her wishes were granted.

Ara walked out from the elevator, carrying a tray with three cups of hot coffee along with her. Then she stopped in front of a tall wooden door. She took a deep breath before knocked on the door. Silence answered her before she heard Ms.Park’s called out from inside it.

“Come in!”, and Ara slowly pulled on the knob to let the door opened. She tilted her head inside.

“Sorry for interrupting…”, she said and she walked in, closed the door behind her. She looked up to find Ms.Park sitting around a small table in the middle of her office room with a couple facing her. Ara trying to crack a smile but it was swept off from her face when Ms.Park shot her a scary glare. She gulped down and arranged her steps approaching them.

“Em…Ms.Park…here, your coffee…Ms.Lee asked me to send it for you…”, Ara said as she put down the tray on the table. Then she moved one cup in front of Ms.Park before putting the remaining cups each in front of the bride and groom-to-be. That was when she dared a quick glance to the couple. She frowned at the boy=groom. He was in the middle of discussing his wedding but instead he was sleeping soundly on the chair. Ara tried to look at his face closely but he had his face covered by his cap. Then Ms.Park cleared loudly, motioning Ara to get out from her office. Ara flashed her fake smile to her before her eyes darted back to the bride, sitting beside the groom. And when she saw her, her smile was swept off. This couple was indeed very weird because the groom was sleeping and the bride look…old. That word spontaneously popped out in her head when she scanned her from head to toe. She was wearing a dark brown blouse, the matching color with her modest-knee length skirt. Then her handbag was also in old style, the one that preferred by most of the grandma. Ara bit her lips, she shouldn’t be thinking of all this. It was someone privilege if he or she wished to get married at any age, regardless their outer appearances. Then Ara gulped and turned to face Ms.Park again, remembering her intention to come here.

“Excuse me, Ms.Park…but can you excuse yourself for awhile??? I’ve something to talk to you…”, Ara requested as she smiled sweetly at her, trying to enchant her with her smile. Ms.Park frowned at her.

“Don’t you see I’m in the middle of discussion??? Later!”, she said back but the old bride had put up her hand to Ms.Park. She smiled and shook her head.

“It’s okay to take a break for a while…”, she said and looked up to smile politely at Ara. Ara nodded slightly at her, thanking her understanding. Maybe this old bride was a good person after all. Ara thought as Ms.Park let out a sigh. But then she bowed at her customers and got up from her seat, eyes sharp on Ara instead.

“Let’s talk outside, shall we???”, she suggested sarcastically and moved out without waiting for Ara’s answer. Hastily she followed her. Once they were out, Ms.Park stood straight and crossed her arms together.

“So…what do you want actually??? Make it fast…I still need to deal with my client…”, she said sternly and Ara twisted her fingers, hesitated to tell her desire.

“Em…I’m wondering if there’s any cases that you want me to handle…any wedding that you want me to plan because I see that you’ve already got your hands full with requests…it might happen that you couldn’t afford to finish it all before the wedding date…”, Ara started to explain but she was cut off when she heard Ms.Park chuckled at her.

“Yah! Go Ara-sshi…don’t know who I am???”, she asked her as she narrowed her eyes.

“Miss…Park???”, Ara answered questioningly but Ms.Park cursed under her breath.

“Of course I’m Miss Park, you bonehead!!! I mean that a professional planner like me won’t ask for a single help especially from a loser like you! If you want to plan a wedding and earn your money, then find your own customer, using your own effort!!! Don’t come here and begging like a hungry dog!!”, Ms.Park snapped so suddenly that Ara hid her face down. She knew that she wasn’t talented as a planner. She never managed to attract any customer to hire her service but then she needed to be given a chance to prove her ability, right??? Upon seeing her being quiet, Ms.Park smirked and started to walk back to her office but then she stopped halfway.

“Two weeks…”, she said and Ara slowly glanced up at her back. Ms.Park was now tilted her head slightly to glimpse at Ara.

“You only have two weeks to find a customer…if that doesn’t even working, then you’re fired!!”, Ms.Park voiced out her order and instantly walked back into the office, shut the door hard on Ara’s face. She cursed in disbelief. Two weeks??? She had been working here for a year and half and yet she just managed to handle two wedding. For God’s sake!!! Only twice!!! And now she wanted her to find a customer within two weeks??? That was IMPOSSIBLE!!! Ara heard her mind yelling out loud as she rubbed her hair in frustration. Making her hair to look even messier. Then she stared back to the wooden door and raised her eyebrow high.

“You think you can just simply kick me out from this company???? The answer is permanent, you know…HELL NO!!!”, she shouted in whisper tone as she balled up her fist and was about to punch the door but then she stopped dead when the door was suddenly being opened by someone.

“I’m going to the toilet for a while…”, a boy said lazily as he pushed the door widely opened to step out. But his face was suddenly being blocked by a small fist, just a few inches from his nose. He blinked at the fist as Ara closed her eyes tight and bit her lips. What actually she was doing here??? The bride and Ms.Park inside of the room turned their heads in union when they saw the groom stopped walking at the door.

“Honey, what’s wrong with you???”, Ara heard the bride asked her hubby so she quickly dropped her fist and put up her finger to her lips, motioning the boy to stay silence. If Ms.Park knew her intention to punch her office’s door, she would be a dead meat. The boy smirked at her but he shook his head.

“Nothing, really…the sun is really bright today…and ‘big’…”, he commented sarcastically as he glanced at Ara’s hands. She knew that he was mentioned her fist as something big as the sun!!! Damn this boy!! Ara thought angrily but she bowed and hastily turned away. She picked up her paces to the elevator and pushed hard on the button when she stopped in front of it. She cursed again in her heart. Everyone seems to fool her around. Her own boss and that boy! But thinking about his face again, making Ara to feel a bit wasted. He looks so young that it didn’t match the dull and old appearances of his bride. Ara thought as the elevator reached her floor and opened in front of her. She stepped in and as the elevator closed again, she finally found a word to describe that boy earlier. Handsome.

“Stand up, everyone! Thank you, Mrs. Wang!”, the class monitor thanked their homeroom teacher before they bowed to each other. The students started to buzz around right after the door was closed by their teacher. Lee Yoo Bi stretched at her seat, massaging her hands, here and there. She glanced to her wrist watch and smiled. The school just ended and she was ready to leave. So she hastily packed all her things, throwing everything into her light green bag. Suddenly a tall boy came to stand in front of her table. She gazed up and cursed.

“Not you again…”, she muttered as she rolled her eyes. The boy laughed as he crossed his arms together.

“So…going back early again??? Yoo Bi ah…our final exam is just around the corner you know…you should stay around longer…studying at the library…”, the boy suggested with a serious tone but Yoo Bi chuckled.

“…and having you hovering around me like a pig??? A big NO to it…”, she simply added for him before she stood up, slanging her bag across her shoulder. Then she started to walk out from the class, leaving the boy to pout at her back.

Once she was out of the class, she picked up her paces, half running and half walking to the ground floor of this building. She knew someone was waiting for her. That was why she needed to hurry; she can’t make her brother-to-be to wait for her, right??? He was kind enough to come and pick her everyday here at school. Finally, she stopped running, panting as she bent to grip both of her knees. She looked up again and smiled once her eyes spotted a boy, standing nearby the school gate. He was leaning against his car, having his eyes covered with sun glass. Yeah, that was right. This stunningly handsome guy was her brother-to-be. She was so proud that he would someday, became part of her family. Suddenly he turned around and landed his gazes on her. He simply curved his lips into a friendly smile as he waved at her. She waved back before running to stand in front of him.

“Yo!”, he greeted her, making a peace sign to Yoo Bi. She chuckled and suddenly their conversation was interrupted by a beeping sound of someone’s phone. Yoo Bi frowned as her hand grabbed the phone from inside her pocket.

-Do Luhan have come to pick you up??? I have good news to inform you! We’re getting married soon!!! He proposed to me! I’ll show you our engaged ring right after I’m back, okay??? See you later! (From: Lee Yoo Na)

Yoo Bi widened her eyes in surprise once she finished reading the message. She instantly gazed up to the boy and clapped in excitement.

“Luhan oppa!!! You’re marrying my sister??? You’re marrying unnie??? Ah!!! I’m soooo happy for both of you!!!!!!!”, Yoo Bi cheered happily as she spontaneously jumped to him and landed her body in his waiting arms. Luhan chuckled but he laughed along with her and patted her head brotherly.

“Yeah…I’m thinking about keeping it as a secret until your sister get back…but I guess it’s no longer a secret then…”, Luhan replied and Yoo Bi jumped like a child in his arms.

“Finally! I can attend a real wedding! I can try out unnie’s wedding dress and I can have my own bride maid dress! Yessszzaa!!”, she said and clapped her hands with big smile. Luhan nodded at her as they stay embracing each other like that. Meanwhile from top of the building behind them, there was a pair of eyes that staring sternly at the too-friendly sister and brother.

“Ceh! Pretending to be all close here…do they really only have that so call family-tied feeling among them??? Those lovey-dovey acting…I don’t think so…”, that person jumped a bit when a boy suddenly commented from his back. He turned around only to see his best friend smirking at him. He came to stand beside him and they eyed Yoo Bi and Luhan together. They had now walking back to his car as Luhan opened the door for Yoo Bi and inviting her in like the servant and his princess. They laughed to each other.

“I don’t know…I have a bad feeling about this…Yoo Bi is too close with that brother of her…”, the boy that watching her earlier said, his friend chuckled.

“Sehun ah…don’t hold back your heart anymore…just confess to her, okay???”, advised his friend as he patted his shoulder. That was right, that boy named Sehun had always have his crush on her. Unfortunately, Yoo Bi never noticed it no matter how many times their friends trying to get them close together. Sehun sighed heavily; the car had already zoomed away, leaving the gate empty.

“Forget it, Kai…she is too deep in caring her own family…”, he commented and turned back to walk away.

Mrs.Wu sat on a wooden coffee table, situated in the middle of her garden. Then an old lady, dressed in a formal black and white uniform, came to her with her hands carrying a tray of evening drink. She stopped before the table and put down the tray before handed a cup filled with hot tea to Mrs.Wu. She took it and grabbed a newspaper from another side of the table. The old lady bowed politely at her and walked back into the big bungalow located just a stone’s throw from this garden. Mrs.Wu flipped open its front page and she suddenly chocked on her drink. Hastily, she put down the cup and held up the paper closer to her eyes.

‘KRIS, THE ELIGIBLE SON OF WU TRADING IS FINALLY DECLARING HIS SOON-TO-BE-HELD WEDDING’

That was the Earth-shaking headline read by Mrs.Wu. Her son was getting married??? Why didn’t she know anything about it??? Hadn’t anyone thinking about informing her??? Not even that bratty son of her??? Just when she thought she was going to be blown up by this news, the boy came out. Mrs.Wu glared grudging at her son as Kris calmly walked out from their house and strolling in complete ease around this garden. He waved at her once their eyes met each other.

“You, useless child!!! Come here!!!”, her mom shouted at him, making Kris to clutch on his heart. He cursed under his breath.

“Mom! Don’t startled me like that…”, he replied as he walked over to her, shaking his head. Mrs.Wu stared at her son with such bloodshot eyes.

“You’re the one who shouldn’t startle me like this!”, she accused her son back as she threw the paper to him. Kris quickly caught it in his hands as he landed his on the chair across his mother. He glanced lazily at the paper and smirked.

“It’s nothing…really…it’s just that we suddenly want to get married…”, he answered her as Mrs.Wu shook her head in frustration.

“Son…don’t ever lying to a liar like me…the trick won’t work at all…”, she said again as Kris raised his eyebrow high to her sarcastically.

“That’s brilliant, mom…you finally admitted it that you’re the biggest liar in Wu Trading…I’m impress…”, Kris commented carelessly as he leaned on the chair and crossed his arms together. Mrs.Wu once again shot him with a deadly glare.

“I’m serious here…now tell me why do you so sudden wish to get married??? There must be a reason behind this…”, Mrs.Wu pressed on the matter, making Kris to blink in confusion for a while. Then, he finally sighed. Maybe her mother was right, everything happened for a reason. So did their plan about marrying each other. It was because Sooyoung was pregnant right now. Kris thought it was useless to hide it anymore. Maybe he should just make it clear with his mother. So he looked up to her before he frowned at her.

“I have something to tell you…”, he started as Mrs.Wu massaged her forehead slowly. She felt that thunder might strike to her heart in just a minute.

“But you have to forgive me on behalf of everything that I’m about to tell you…”, Kris added as Mrs.Wu rolled her eyes.

“That’s not fair…I can’t completely agree to it before I know what actually is happening right now…”, she protested and Kris nodded weakly, surrendered to the stubbornness of his mother.

“Sooyoung is pregnant…”, Kris muttered but his mother had already slammed her hands on the table in front of them. Kris narrowed his eyes.

“What???!!! Why she’s pregnant??? How???”, Mrs.Wu stumbled with her words, failed to form a proper sentence to it. Kris chuckled upon hearing her questions.

“Do I really have to explain how on Earth that she get pregnant??? I’m completely sure that you know it already…because it’s the very same method on how you get me here today…”, Kris mentioned and Mrs.Wu gritted her teeth in anger.

“Cut it out! It’s not what I meant! I mean that whose child is that??? Is it yours???”, she asked her son again  with such accusation face but Kris nodded hastily.

“Sure the hell I’m not!!! I’ve never done anything to her!!!”, Kris answered loudly and Mrs.Wu sighed in relief. She calmed herself down as she leaned back on her chair.

“That’s good…but how do you want to explain to the press??? Do you want to declare about her getting pregnant too???”, Mrs.Wu continued asking as Kris shook his head.

“No, of course not…I can’t make Sooyoung feel embarrass about it…”, he reasoned out but his mother chuckled in disgust.

“A like her doesn’t even know the meaning of being ‘embarrass’…”, his mother added that made Kris widened his eyes to her.

“Don’t say anything like that about her!”, he exclaimed but Mrs.Wu frowned to her son and crossed her arms in determination.

“Listen closely now…I would never, ever let you to marry that kind of girl…I don’t care who’s the father to that child but if it’s true like you said just now…the child isn’t yours so it means that he isn’t related to this Wu family…so I highly object it for Sooyoung and her baby to be part of my family!”, Mrs.Wu pressed sternly as Kris moved his body forward to the table.

“Mom! You can’t…”, he started to protest but Mrs.Wu cut him out by holding up her hand high to him. She closed her eyes, trying to gather the patience in her.

“My decision is final! You’re not marrying her! Case close!”, she blurted out as she snapped open her eyes. She stared at Kris, now lost for his words before she sighed and stood up.

“Find a way to tell her the true…I only give you a day to settle with her while I’m dealing with the press…”, she commanded him before she glared angrily and walked away. Kris slammed his body back to the chair. He knew he was in complete trouble right now.

To be continued…

"I was supposed to be his wedding planner, not his bride!"

Chapter 56: Oh my god really long story..but i enjoyed it but my eyes and neck are tired hahah and maybe because it was 3 stories in one ;) they all have unique and different story but same start..haha bride instead of planner, really nice idea..hha but hmm I was more of always eager to read luhan and yoobi's part..not saying other two were boring but luhan and yoobi's story idea i find it extra interesting..hmm any plan to make luhan n yoobi fic like you did with kris and so eun..coincidently I really like so eun since bof days :) and go ara since who are you? days ..well and tho I haven't watched yoobi's drama..I found her cutely charming..haha I enjoyed all the story but if krid never married sooyoung, why didn't he went to look for soeun? But it was cruel you know so eun had to divorce him that way..if I was so eun I guess I will never forgive anyone esp who suggested that idea..hahhah but thanks I had wonderful time reading :D
