Chapter 27

Day 61
"Girls this is your first full fan signing, therefore the fans that come aren't already pre-screened or anything, you could end up being here for hours. But this is a huge step for you so just remember to have a constant smile," Minseok gave a small smile to the girls who were currently hanging out in their van before the event coordinators came in to tell them they could enter the mall that was hosting them. The fansignings before the girls would go to regular CD stores so this is the first time they were actually somewhere... important? Somewhere that proved they were going in the right direction with their careers. The greatest thing about it being inside a large warm mall is the fact that they don't have to deal much with the pouring rain that was splashing outside.
"How many fans do you think are here?" Seol Ae cautiously asked aloud.
"I'm hoping more than two hundred," Hye Rin smiled.
"That's it?" Seol Ae scoffed. "I was thinking a few hundred at the least."
"Other than the first fan signing we had the others were only a hundred fans each so it's hard to tell," Haneul shrugged.
"Has anyone been stalking our fansites?" Seol Ae questioned. All the girls shoke their heads.
"Holly..?" Seol Ae was hesitant in her question, ever since Holly came intoxicated to the studios she hadn't spoken much. At first the members were more than a little pissed at her for not only ruining practice but potentially getting caught being drunk, in the afternoon, and potentially ruining her image - thus Legends image. But they quickly realized the shunning was going both ways and the usual loud mouth was dead silent. She just starred at the window and didn't answer her dongsaeng's question.
Hye Rin put a gentle hand on Seol Ae's shoulder with the silent words, she's not going to talk. They knew she wouldn't mess up at the fan meeting and would easily plaster a smile on her face, but they would know the truth.
The door slid open and a short brunette popped her head in, "Legend we need you in now."
No more words were spoken until the girls were brought in through a random stores back door connected to the malls garage, at the center of the largest opening of the mall was a temporary platform covered in blue fabric, with a table on top with four chairs for each member. A few yards away numerous fans were barely being held back by theatre barriers and scattered security guards.
The second the members got into the fans view their screams hightened in intensity, the members were taken aback and Hye Rin took refuge behind Seol Ae when they walked onto the stage. Before they knew it fans were being let up onto the stage by fours and the members hands were cramping up in no time. But they were happy. Their debut was far from the best, especially by SM standards, and now they had hundreds of fans just waiting to get their autographes and the chance to say a few words to their idols. It was almost unbelievable how much a persons life can change within three months. It's hard to believe that over three months agos the girls were still trainees, anxiously awaiting their debut. Since this was the last week of Because of You promotions the fans were a bit more aggressive than the girls would imagine. Who knew when they would have another comeback and the fans knew this would be the last time in a while they could see and interact with their idols.
After eight long hours the girls were able to get back into the van and were driven back to their dorm. It was dinner when they got back and Hye Rin said she would gladly cook for everyone, since there was a new recipe she was dying to try out and no one really felt like picking up the phone to order take out (talk about lazy). It wasn't until Hye Rin was in the middle of cooking that Minseok came back, "Where's Holly?" was all he asked.
"Holly-ah?" Haneul called out into the small dorm. Holly slowly came out of the bedroom, her face was blank but she wasn't surprised by the manager showing up.
"You ready?" Minseok asked.
Holly looked hesitant before following Minseok out of the dorm.
"What the was that about?!" Seol Ae cursed, temporarily stopping her workout video on the TV.
Haneul just shook her head, going back to reading her In Search of Lost Time novel.
Hye Rin shrugged, "Dunno, but I'm sure it's nothing big. She hasn't been speaking much anyway so it's not shocking for her to have a schedule without us knowing it."
Seol Ae bit the inside of her cheek before reluctantly going back to her work out.
It wasn't until the girls were almost finished with eating their meal that Seol Ae's phone went off. She looked surprised when she answered the phone and said a confused 'Hello?'. Her eyes widened from whoever was on the other lines words and jumped up, her chair flipping back onto the ground with a crash in her rush.
Haneul and Hye Rin gave her confused looks, "What's wrong?"
"I understand... Yeah I'll keep you posted," Seol Ae hung up her phone. "It was Yerim... she said that Taemin called her saying that Holly never showed up to their date that was over an hour ago and he can't get ahold of her through her phone."
"'Date' 'Taemin'?" Haneul echoed.
"Did she stand him up?" Hye Rin asked, not really seeing the big deal.
Seol Ae shook her head, "Yerim said she's been trying her and Minseoks phones but neither are picking up and then... her phone went straight to voicemail... Goddamn even when she's being a we have to deal with this." The thr
