July 19th, 2013
Day 49
"Doesn't ice cream make you bloated?" Seol Ae wrinkled her nose at the sight before her. Currently the four members were sitting in a small ice cream parlor, right before they were to go record another episode for Becoming A Legend.
Hye Rin nodded as she off the ice cream on her spoon, "It does. So what?"
The visual rolled her eyes, crossing her arms and leaning her head back on the booth.
Haneul sent a weird look, the closest she could ever get to a glare, to Holly who was not so sneakily taking spoonfuls of ice cream from the leaders bowl, "You said you didn't want any why are you taking mine?"
"It's like pistachios if it's in front of me I need to have some," Holly rolled her eyes like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Can't just stop at one!" Seol Ae chimed in recieving a high five from Holly.
Haneul just decided to pull her bowl away anytime Holly went digging with her spoon.
"So is there anyone specific you guys are interested in so far?" Hye Rin asked.
Holly crossed her arms and looked away, Haneul shurgged and Seol Ae looked like she was deeply thinking.
"I can't judge them yet I mean we only meet them a few days ago, this whole thing is a mess to me to be truthful," Seol Ae sighed.
"Bit of a hastle really. Especially since we're supposed to film all the episodes well before August," Haneul said.
The other members openly gaped at their leader, "Wait what?! So we're doing this in like two weeks time?!" Holly groaned.
"Speaking of going Minseok just sent me a text we need to go or we're going to be late for filming," Seol Ae's eyes widened as she looked at her phone and the girls quickly cleaned up and left the parlor for their van stationed out front.
The trainees were in the same studio as the day before, each practicing by themselves. All of them knew from the beginning they were going to be eliminated one by one but they didn't really think it would effect them as much as it did. They all felt stronger than they though at the fact someone was already eliminated. It was a scarier feeling in person than in theory.
"Hi!" Seol Ae smiled as the members walked in. The trainees hurriedly greeted them back. Neither groups were able to talk anymore since the director practically pounced on Legend so they could begin the shooting.
CAMERA ON
"Hello we are forever Legend!" The girls greeted.
"Wow we already had our first elimination," Seol Ae said as the members nodded. "Today the girls will be putting the dance they learned to the test in their own performance but this performance won't be just any normal performance they'll actually be performing in front of some very important people."
"It's the third episode," Hye Rin chimed in, her members giving her strange looks.
"What?" Seol Ae questioned.
"It's the third episode, you didn't say it was the third episode. They won't know unless you say it," Hye Rin shurgged.
"I think they'll know," Holly raised an eyebrow in confusion, even though Hye Rin was their... weird member.
"No you have to tell them! It's just TV edicate," Hye Rin smiled.
"Bu-" For once in her life Haneul cut off someone and made a chopping motion with her hand, "Becoming A Legend's third episode!"
Min appeared for only ten minutes as the trainees went back over their performance as a refresher. In a weird way the chereography was easier now since it's originally for seven people and now there were seven trainees. After their quick refresher they were led to another room a floor above and all the trainees were ready to have heart attacks from all the people they saw.
The room was indentical to the studio the girls were previously in, and sitting on the floor against the mirror were multiple sunbaes: TVXQ's Yunho and Changmin, Super Juniors Heechul, Kyuhyun, and Donghae, Girls' Generations Tiffany, Hyoyeon, and Sooyoung, SHINee's Onew, Minho and Key, f(x)'s Amber, Krystal and Luna and EXO's Chanyeol, Kai, Sehun and Kris. In all eighteen of their sunbaes were staring expectantly at them, waiting eagerly for a performance.
The Legend members were sat down next to their sunbaes and the trainees were put into their places.
They all took a deep breath and as the music started the girls performed their best. Even though the performance was around three minutes it felt like an eternity to the trainees.
When they finished and the music stopped the idols energetically clapped for the trainees. Right after the idols were given ballots to rate every trainee as to who they thought was the best and who they thought was the worse. In the mean time one of the female writers decided to ask the trainees some questions.
"So girls, what was it like for all of you to see one of you get eliminated last time?"
The trainees were gathered around the camera, all with water in their hands and were rather surprised they were directly talking to them.
"Well," Jinnie began, "It was rather... shocking. None of us really thought it would be that tense and how much we all have on the line right now."
"Did any of you talk about it afterwards?"
All the girls shook their heads.
"Do any of you live together in the trainee dorms?"
"Most of us live in the dorms but I think only Minhwa-ssi and I live in the same dorm," Yerim said.
"So you're roommates?"
The two nodded.
"How exactly did the show pick you all?"
"For the past few weeks the main dance studio had been set up similar to how when we all auditioned," Baekhui smiled. "It was a surprise for everyone since we were told the day of the first auditions."
"How many trainees auditioned?"
"Around a hundred I think?" Jeje said with a confused
