Day 20
"Um seonsaengnim?"
The CEO looked up from his papers, his face blank so Hana had no idea what he was thinking.
"It seems that something rather... troubling has come to my attention Hana-ssi."
Hana's eyes flashed but her body was stock-still. She didn't say anything and stared downwards towards the CEO's desk, refusing to meet his eyes.
The man sighed, "Do you know what I'm talking about Hana-ssi?"
She made no movement.
His lip twitched, "Listen. I know you're Taeyeon-ssi's sibling which is why I'm going easy on you right now. I'll cut to the chase and tell you I've heard from an anonymous tipper that you and someone who shall go unnamed has had... a rather intimate relationship. I'm going to give you an ultimatum Hana-ssi. You can either tell me who it is and you can continue being in Legend or you can keep it a secret and leave Legend and this company."
"Don't you know who he is? Didn't this tipper tell you?" Her eyebrows furrowed.
Youngmin sighed, "I am not allowed to jump to conclusions simply because of one person. It would mean more coming from your mouth rather than someone elses."
Hana was silent for a few seconds, "What if I did say who he was? What would happen to him?"
The CEO leaned forward, his chin resting on his clasped fingers, "Well it's rather simple. If you disclose his identity then we will arrest him for ual assault."
Hana sputtered, "S-ual assault? But.."
"You're going to say 'but it wasn't?'," Youngmin cut in, "Yes I fully understand that but think about it. What would happen if any of this got out if you continue with Legend? You won't just be harming your own image but Legends image, thus SM's image. So if this ever does come to light it would be easiest to just say it was assault and the matter was handled legally beforehand."
"You said the only proof you had was the tipper..." She trailed off, uncertain.
"Doesn't mean you haven't been caught on a camera somewhere."
Hana bit the inside of her cheek, "So in other words if I tell you him he suffers and I have to deal with the guilt. But if I don't I leave the company and he... stays in his current position?"
"That is correct."
The vocalist was doing all in her power to fight back tears, her bottom lip was trembling and she didn't know what to do.
"Can I ask a question?"
"Of course."
"If I was a Girls Generation member and this happened... what would you do?" The blood rushed in her ears.
Youngmin's nose twitched, "I would move the man out of the company and cover it as best I could."
"So why are you doing this to me?"
"Legend needs a new image and you, Kim Hana, are not apart of that image."
"I've made my decison." Youngmin looked up from his computer in surprise, he didn't realize it would take her a few hours to make a decision. For the past few hours the girl has sat in one of the numerous chairs, mulling about her decision. A piece of paper sat in front of her that she wrote the 'pros' and 'cons' on.
"And that is?"
"...I'll leave Legend."
Hana couldn't see it because the mans hands were in the way but a smile graced Youngmins face, "Can I ask as to why you've made this decision?"
She was silent for a few beats, "I rather ruin my career when I still have a chance instead of ruin someone elses under false pretenses."
"Wise choice, I'm sure it will get you far... somewhere."
"So.. what do we do now?" Hana asked, her hands were tightly clasped on her lap. Nail marks were etching themselves into her skin.
"Well you already began recording and learning the dance for the newest song so you will continue with those promotions and after they end so does your time with Legend."
"What do I tell the members?"
"Anything, that's your problem not mine."
Hana bit back a retort, she knew messing with him wasn't a wise idea.
Youngmin pushed a button and a light buzzing sound meet Hana's ears, "Sunyoung-ssi can you please tell Minseok-ssi he can come in?"
"Yes sir," the woman on the other end of the speaker said.
Minseok walked in, his body was slightly stiff but his eyes gave away everything he was thinkin
