Key totally shocked, moves backward bowing his head…

“I am really so sorry Mom…
please do not get mad…
I promise when we fly to New York,
I will be very obedient and always in your watch…
(lifts his face) So can you forgive me…
I did have fun and I met a new friend…
(gets Minho) Here…hhhmm…
(looks at Minho’s costume) but Mom…
he cannot remove his costume…
his name is Ken…”

“Good evening… Ms. Tiffany…”

Tiffany sighs defeated bows as well and holds the edge of the dining table for support and takes a deep breath lifts her head and look at Key following what the latter’s flow of conversation, ends up looking at Minho then chuckles in the end.

“Oh…Key… sweetie…
please…fine… do not do it again…
(looks back at Minho then at Donghae)
oohh… nice to meet you hhhmmm…MMmmm…
(glances at Key) Hon…his name?”

“Ken… Mom…”

“Oh…
(looks at Donghae) oohh… Ken…
what nice pumpkins costume you are wearing…
must be very heavy…”

Minho nods and bow acknowledging Tiffany’s greeting causing for the latter to giggle and so extends her hands for a shake which the other accepts it.

“Mom… Ken and I will go round to show goodies
we have for halloween and will proceed to my room…”

“Okay…”

Minho seeing the opportunity of his father being around, goes to him and asks…

“Mr. Donghae…
can I go with you when you are about to leave…?”

“(nods) Oh… sure… why not…?!”

However, Key interrupts and says…

“Ken… it is alright, I will ask hyungs to send you
home so no need to worry about your going
back…”

Donghae smiles and agrees to what Key just stated and nods at his son making him understood that it is alright.

“Oh…okay…if that is what you want…”
Says Minho…

“(grabs Minho’s hand) Come… Ken…
let’s start trick or treating inside our house…”

So Key and Minho leave in high spirits leaving Donghae and Tiffany in watching them in awe.
Tiffany recovers patting Donghae’s let hand and says…

“Donghae… that is Minho, right?”

“Yeah… I would like to extend my apology for what
has been happening to him and Key.
But as far as I know, my son really likes Key.
He would never stop talking how he admires Key a lot.
(sighs) However, I do not know what really
happened for Key to decide on leaving…
I mean…
He was so happy when he met Key for the very first time…I…
(shrugs sadly) wish…”

Tiffany looks at Donghae understanding what is going on in the latter’s mind and thus, she responds…

“I wish I can stop him but Key…
when he puts his mind on something, he will do it…
this has been our plan for some months now.
Key would keep on delaying until…
(sighs) that incident…
(glances at Donghae) I understand kids’ squabbles are hard
to control but it is sad that Key decided to leave as a result…”

Donghae keeps silent and sits with arms on the table flexes his left hand cupping his chin looking down.

Tiffany sees Donghae’s state moves closer to the latter and pats his shoulder saying…

“We do not know when we will come back
but please pray for our safety always…”

“hhhmmm…”

Meanwhile in Key’s room, Minho has spotted the broken sculptor.
He flinches remembering how stupid he was to do hurtful things to Key.

In spite of, Minho ignores and focuses on the current situation as he really wants to enjoy this moment with Key before leaving for New York.
In Minho’s heart and mind, it is already so tear-jerking.

“Ken…
I have a gift for you as a token of coming with me tonight…
Wait… hold on…”

Key gets from his pocket a cute dust-silver-powdery cute box, opens it and comes into sight a beautiful and shiny magic ring made out of silver band with three gemstones whereby the center is the biggest colored green while the other smaller gems in red colors.

Minho gasps how really magical it appears that he could not stop himself from uttering…

“It is so beautiful…a..are… you sure…
you want to give it to me…?”

Key laughs at Minho’s hesitant inquiry response instead gets Minho’s left hand and gently puts the ring on the ring finger and says…

“I hope you will remember me always like I will.
Thank you very much.
I gain a new friend…
(sighs)”

Minho wanting to know how Key feels about him asks…

“It appears like you’re counting fingers mentioning
gaining friends.
Do you have a lot of friends…?”

Key looks at him and sadly smiles…

“Oh… No... not really...
Right now I have my childhood friend
who regularly comes to visit me and the other one,
I thought we get along well but he hurt me…
but I liked him a lot though because he seemed so
sweet and kind.
His name is Minho but I called him Minu…
I met him once.
He was so cute standing by the gate so shy so
I walked towards him to invite him in…so cute…”

Minho even though Key states everything in the past, feels so happy that he is almost very near to tears however he manages to pull himself together so quickly and asks further…

“So what happened though…?”

“He would annoy and pester me all the time and
(takes a deep breath) you know,
I had no idea what just happened as a result…
but anyway, am going to leave so I don’t have to
deal with him anymore…
(smiles) anyway… come…
I want to give you something…”
