Tiffany and Donghae

Donghae is greeted by a very excited Tiffany.

“Hi Donggie…
Thank you for coming…
Quite early…”

“Well…
It is always good to not let people especially
you to wait you know…”

“Aaawww…
So sweet…
(kisses Donghae’s left cheek)
Come in…!”

“Are they still on the road yet…?”

“Yeah…
But they will be here at the agreed time you
instructed them.
Onew called me; he’s just minutes away from
here so as Jonghyun…”

“Good…
(checks the time)
It’s  8:45 so I guess, they too
will arrive early…”

“Just in time for breakfast…”

Donghae reaches for Tiffany’s elbow and guide her walking through the expanse of the living room.
Tiffany points at the patio…

“Donggie, let’s stay there while we wait for them…”

“Sure…”

They head towards the patio.
And this time, with both hands and bodies so close with each other.
Now both seated, Donghae – feeling relaxed, starts the conversation.

“So…
What’s this meeting about…?”

“Key and Park’s arrival along with my wish of
holding their wedding celebration here in our place…”

“Oh…
Huge event then…”

“Exactly…
I mean…you know as much as we would have
wanted Key and Minho to be together…
I cannot let something like this pass me by…
My son’s wedding…
And I bet George would also have wanted
something like this to happen…
Us…parents…”

“(nods) Yeah…
I agree to that…
By the way, I heard Park is doing well…”

“Yes…
It is not really a cure but life extension.
They are keeping a watchful eye on Park’s
illness as his cancer cells are quite active.
I must say, Key loves Park so much that he is
willing to go through the process of even
finding a way to be with Park…”

“I commend Key for proving his love for Park
but I think I see it as a compassionate
empathy, what do you think…?”

“From the way I see it, both love and compassion.
Key loves Park.
You see, they’ve been together since…
Aaaahh…
Infants...
Considering my late husband and Hyeonggie’s
father were partners – trusted each other so much.
I mean, how you can beat that…
I know how difficult Hyeonggie is to get along with.
And Minho, how can you not love him – very
sweet, giving and generous.
I mean, Minho is a match made in heaven for Key…
(sighs) but…life can be tricky sometimes…”

“I know…
Am just praying that everything is doing well for
the couple…”

“And Minho…?
How is he…?
Does he have any plan to…
You know…settle down…?”

Donghae leans his back on the chair and crosses his hands, stares to the horizon and says…

“He will not settle down.
He is fine just being with Key.
I even persuade him to change his mind like
settle down and have a family of his own.
Still…”

“(sighs) Goodness…
I mean…
I cannot beat that…
(points at Donghae)
Even you or us cannot beat Minho’s resolve…
Wow…
I do pray fate gives them a chance…
(sadly smiles) I know it is bad but you see…
I can see the possibility of Key and Minho being together…
I mean…
But surely, not now or next year…
It is with Minho up to how long he can wait…
Surely though…there is a possibility…”

“(nods) I agree…
Love…
I never thought Minho has it…you know…
That guy is amazing…
Well…both them are; Minho and Hyeong Seop
both eternally love Key.
I guess Key is very lucky to have either or both of them by his side…
I cannot blame Key though as he himself is
worthy of their love.
Key is such a wonderful person…”

“(smiles) Thank you…”

Their discussion is interrupted by Kris…

“Excuse me for a while…”

“Yes…What is it Kris…?”

“Ms. Tiffany…
Sir Minho is with me…”

“Oh…
(sees Minho) Minho dear come…
Join us…
Your father and I are having a small talk…”

Minho greets Tiffany with a kiss and a hug to his father, Donghae, and replies…

“Auntie…
Are they almost near…?”

“I bet they are pretty near.
Anyway, our meeting is 9:30 and it is just 9:00
so it is fine…
Have a sit…”

At this moment, Tiffany starts the conversation…

“So update me and your Dad…
I think you have been awfully quiet these days.
So that, we do not know what is going on…”

Minho timidly smiles and same like Donghae crosses his arms…

“Am fine Auntie…
But one thing, am glad though is that Park and
I are able to co-exist together.
He initiated the whole thing.
I was surprised at first…
You have seen how Park acts towards me…
After he apologized, and then it made me think otherwise…
So I thought, why not rather than me and him always constantly at each other’s throats…
(sadly smiles) I think Park is doing well…
The treatment is working well for him…
(murmurs) extending his life…”

Tiffany out of nowhere softly replies…

“Extending your agony as well…”

“Auntie…?”

“No nothing…
Am of course happy for them…”

Suddenly Suho comes rushing in…

“Ma’m, Sir Donghae and Sir Minho…
They have just arrived…”

“Who they…?”
Tiffany asks…

“Sir Onew and Sir Taemin then just parked Sir
Jonghyun and Ma’m Jessica…”

“Oh…Nice all of them…”
Donghae getting up on the chair…

“Let them come in…
And Suho, kindly prepare the breakfast table…
Bet they are all hungry…”

“Yes, Madam…”

And so they all come in. Excited Taemin comes rushing in first followed by Onew and the couple Jonghyun and Jessica.
After the greetings, Tiffany invites everyone to have breakfast first before the meeting.

The excited to see food Taemin blurts out…

“Wwoow…
As expected of Auntie…
Each and everyone’s favorite…”

“Of course…
I purposely prepared a variety of everyone’s favorites…
what do we have:
Pancake and Waffle choose your toppings like fruits,
Sugar Cane Syrup or butter

Fried Bacon and Varieties of Eggs preparation like Omelet,
Scrambled and Sunny Side up and also
boiled for those who are health conscious.
Chicken also varieties you may choose from;
Fried, Buttered, Nuggets and Strips with sauces.
Varieties of Breads like Muffins, Doughnuts, Sticks, Bagels, etc…
And Fillings or Spreads to choose from
Soups like French Onion, Crab and corn, Squash…
 I think a lot more…
Oh there are tacos too…
And varieties of salads as well…
Enjoy…guys…Let’s eat…
We will have a lengthy meeting…”

“Am pretty sure our lunch will be enormous too…
We are gonna get loaded for sure…
No diet for today…”
Says Jessica…

“Oh goodness Auntie…
You are going to make us fat…”

“Don’t be absurd Onew…
It’s been like ages since your last visit…
So, why not make every moment of it grand, right…?
Anyway, less talk more eat…”
