TIFFANY AND KEY
Key’s Self-orientation of his Home…

Tiffany pulls the car’s handbrake, switches off the car key and suddenly her stomach begins to knot up.
She glances at Key whose expression is pretty much obvious - that of an unwelcoming sight, she thought while they were still on their way briefing Key would help conditioning the latter’s mind and emotion, but now, to actually be facing the road entrace gate of their hone which is still a bit remotely far from where they are standing - is quite overpowering – and she too, feels it.
It has been almost 15 years – recapitulating it again – since they have been gone.

So much has changed in this place.
Tiffany looks around and sees new houses a bit miles distance away from their home have been erected, she’s not worried at all, in fact it is a welcoming sight.
What she is unsure of if she and Key are ready to face this place all over again.

“Why do we have to come here anyway…?”

Key’s question boldly asks. 
Tiffany is shocked and surprised and thus, could not react instantly and she is left watching Key moving forward to inspect the area.
 

“Mom, New York is fine…
 I am fine with our situation there no matter what…”
 

Tiffany could sense the uneasiness from Key’s voice and could sense from the latter tone same to that of a request that could not wait to get out of here and go back to New York.
She could feel her chest tightening that she stops and walks calmly at the gate; she smiles and deep breathe then look to the other side of the empty road and replies peacefully…
 

“You will be safe here sweetie…remember…?
We already talked about this.
This is for your sake and not mines…”

With what she just stated, her mind becomes suddenly flooded with memories of their lives in New York.
She shivers even thinking about it and the thought of it that somehow the same reason applies why they left this area in the first place.
Tiffany shrugs the incoming negative energies off from her system and laughs it off.

“Sweetie, above the rests,
you are my priority and always be…”
 

Key turns to her and the previous uncompromising and stern looking face changes to a much softer facial gesture which Tiffany always love about her beloved only child, his sweetness and baby face gentle smile.
He then walks towards her mother and says gently…

“I am so sorry… Mommy…
I was rude and harsh back there…
 Thank you so much and I love you so much…
(kisses Tiffany’s forehead) but… you know me…
very impatient and blatantly blunt…”

“(smiles) It is fine Key…
I do not care cause I know the real you…”

“(whines) aaiisshhh Mom…
blackmailing me again…fine…

(looks at the far distant gate)
Shall we get in the car so I can start my own orientation…”
 

“Sure… come…
(points at the entrance road) we still have to drive
few meters away to step inside our house…”

“Yeah… kinda huge Mom…
I did not know how filthy rich you are Mom…”
 

Tiffany laughs out softly while both of them going back to the car.
Then again she starts the car and as they come near to the huge silver polished Morley Hall Entrance Gate; she gets something from her bag – a remote control switch, and presses it.

Tiffany makes a quick glance at the bewildered Key and smiles however return to her driving as soon as the gate opens.
While driving sets on to reply back from her son’s previous comment saying…

Tiffany:            (laughs at Key’s remark) Oh… Honey…
                        this is one of your late Dad’s and mine’s houses…
                        Apart from that, your late Dad and I, each of us
                        has its own individual houses here in South Korea.
                        I will tour you around one of these days…
                        Mine is somewhat a bit far from here…

Key:                (gasps in shock) MOM!! What do you mean houses…?

Tiffany:            (giggles) I am so sorry sweetie.
                        I wanted to tell you about our family history
                        but you as Key – a worldwide famous painter and sculptor;
                        I thought you might not be interested to learn
                        about your roots cause at an early age,
                        has become famous and very wealthy as well.

Key:                (blushes) Mom… can you just stop with that
                       overly exaggerating declaration.
                       It’s making me shudder down to my toes.
                       And of course, I am very interested about our
                       family history especially Dad’s.

                       (looks at Tiffany) Mom, if Dad could have been alive,
                       I wonder how my life could have turn out…
                       what do you think?

Tiffany:            (lips twitches) hhhmmm… probably a lot different.
                        I remember your late Dad excitedly told me that
                        regardless a boy or a girl, he wanted him/her
                        to become a successful business person…

Key:                (fully perks his lips) hhhmmm…
                       That could have been a problem but perhaps;
                        I might probably could have chosen that field…

Tiffany:            (shocked) And what do you think you are right now
                        Key…? Not a businessman…?

Key:                (frowns at her mother) Of course…
                       am not Mom… definitely not…
                       Only you… the famous respected iron lady
                       in this harsh business world…
                       You and Daddy were a good match…

Tiffany:            (exhales loudly) No sweetie…
                        I was not originally like this…
                        I was just influenced by your late Dad and of course,
                        He taught me everything just in case
                        I need to take over one of these days…

Key:                (taps his fingers on the glass window)
                       Well… Mom you have been doing great and
                       Dad if he is watching us should be really proud of you right now…
