The Following Day
Still at Hyeong Seop Park Bedroom

Key wakes up first then gently kisses Hyeong Seop’s lips.
Carefully gets up then goes to where he kept the small box hidden.

Pauses for a while, takes a deep breath opens the small box and glances at Hyeong Seop.
Checks the time then utters…

“It’s almost 10:00 am…
He does really sleep well…”

He then looks for a better spot and once he finds the area walks towards and slightly opens the drape where a glint of sun ray cuts in.
Assured of the spot, aligns himself parallel to where Hyeong Seop is situated and gently crawls his way back in.

Then…

“Hyeonggie…
Hyeonggie…
Wake up…”

“Uunngghhh…
Kkeeyy…
(responds with eyes still close)…
Hhhhmmm…yyeeaahh…”

“Good morning Baby…”

“(still eyes closed)
Mmm…mmorrninng…”

“Wake up…
I have something to show…”

Hyeong Seop – a not morning person - struggles to raise his body up covers his eyes with his hands to avoid sunlight piercing his eyes.

“Sorry…Honey…
Am not a morning person…
You know…”

“I understand…”

Smiles while opening the box, plucks what’s inside and puts it where the sun ray passes through.

“Open your eyes and look around you Hon…”

Hyeong Seop removes his hands and gently opens his eyes.
His eyes widen that alas his entire room becomes a medley of beautiful colors.
Beaming with happiness, he claps his hand while his staring at the wonder around him.

“WWHHOOAA…
(looks at Key) This is so beautiful Key…
I love it… (hugs Key)
Thank you…
This is so sweet of you…”

Key squeezes Hyeong Seop’s hand who is still engrossed with what’s happening unintentionally overlooked the other’s gesture so that Key has no other choice but to call the other’s attention.

“Hon…
Do you know where these dancing colors are
coming from…?”

Hyeong Seop replies while still marveling the surrounding.

“A layered glass you are holding…
(lowers his head to check)
Where did you get that anyway…?”

Key is amused that Hyeong Seop could not still figure out what he’s holding and so he replies…

“From here…”

“I cannot see it – the blinding light gets to my
eyes but can I borrow it…?”

“Sure…”

So Hyeong Seop grabs what Key is holding and shocked to see what he’s holding…

“Hon…?
These are rings…and…
Whoaaa…
Diamond Rings…? Hon…?”

“Let’s get married…”

“Ha…? Wha…?
I… Ha…?
Dyousay…?”

Key kisses Hyeong Seop’s forehead and says…

“Lost for words, are we…?”

“Key… When…?”

“Oh…
So you are conscious…
Surprised…?”

“Yyeeaahh…”

“Tomorrow, we leave. I already called
someone to officiate our marriage…”

“Hhhaa…?”

“Honey…
Wake up…”

“So choose the place, I will set the flight ready…”

Hyeong Seop shakes his head which surprise Key.

“Hah…Honey…
Hyeonggie…Why…?”

“Key…
I don’t want to go to any other places…
Am fine here…
Let’s get married here, in our soon to behome.
Please ask the judge to have us married here…”

“Sure…?”

Hyeong Seop nods and says…

“Hundred percent sure…
(hugs Key) I will love you forever Key…”

Hyeong Seop releases his embrace with Key and goes out of his bed and jumps like a kid flailing his arms and running around the room screaming in delight…

“AM GETTING MARRIED!
WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!
WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!
YES! YES! YES!”

Key chases Hyeong Seop and asks…

“Do you want to invite guests or friends…?”

“No…
I want this marriage to be just between the two of us…”

“Judge will ask for the witnesses of our marriage…”

“I will talk to the judge…
We don’t need one…
Or…
(winks) We can have our cats and dogs to
witness our wedding…
What do you think…?”

“(sighs) Aaashhh…
Silly… Fine…
No witnesses…
Cats and dogs then…”
