Cooking Lesson
Believe ItSunhee's POV
“Ahjussi, ahjussi, ahjussi!” I ran down the hallways of Yunho's condo screaming and then tackled the man into a back hug. “Ahjussi, can you teach me how to cook?” Yunho removed my arms from around his waist then turned around to face me, “Why do you suddenly want to learn? You rejected my offer on going to cooking classes weeks ago.” Yeah. Yunho had offered to sign me up for cooking classes a couple of weeks ago but I had rejected his offer then because cooking and me just did not mix. But after watching the cooking channel not stop lately, cooking suddenly held my interest.
I shrugged, “Just a sudden urge.”
Yunho eyed me up and down before pursing his lips, “How will you be a mother if you can't even cook?”
“Marry a man that can cook, duh.” I simply retorted. “Besides, being a mother is more than knowing how to cook, old man.” Yunho simply snorted at my reply. “Sometimes I wonder how I fell for you.”
I clasped my hands together and batted my eyelashes rapidly at the taller man, “Well because I'm charming of course!”
“Yeah, sure.” He scoffed and looked away from my flirtatious gaze. “Anyway, I don't know how well I can actually help you with cooking. My cooking skills aren't that great either.”
I hummed in agreement. That was true. Yunho was better than me in cooking but wasn't that great in general either. His best dish would probably be the fried rice he's made me so many times before and as far as I knew, that was how far his skills reached. “Yeah but you cook way better than I do and I really want to know how to cook something.” I pointed out and grabbed his hands, leading Yunho to the kitchen.
“Should we try something new?” Yunho suggested while opening his fridge to look for something interesting to cook with. “I have a bunch of stuff in here but I don't know what the hell to make.”
“Okay!” I immediately agreed with excitement. “Can we make some sort of dessert?! Let's make dessert!” I didn't give him time to reply before I answered my own question. Ah, my mouth is already water from all the possible desserts running through my mind.
“Of course you would want to learn to make something sweet.” Yunho muttered. “What do you want to try then?”
I twirled a strand of hair between my fingers while I tried to think of what I should make. In my 20 years of living and with a sweet tooth like mine, it's no surprise that I've tried a lot of sweets but there were a few things that I haven't tried before. And one of them was chocolate soufflé. “I want to try making chocolate soufflé.” I told my boyfriend.
“Soufflé?” Yunho mumbled. “I heard that it's pretty difficult. Why not try something simple like chocolate cake?” I shook my head. Cake was good but I've had it plenty of times before. “I've never had chocolate soufflé so let's make that, okay?”
“Sure. I'll call someone to bring the ingredients.” Yunho told, already pulling out his phone from his pocket.
“You have someone for that?” I asked fro
