Your POV

I could hear my phone vibrating on my coffee table. I didn’t want to keep hearing it ring but I also couldn’t bring myself to turn it off either.

It had been ringing nonstop for the last hour or so and I knew who it was. I was trying my best to not run over and pick it up.

Today would be the day that I would finally be able to cut all off all ties with him, and move on from the past.

My phone finally stopped ringing and I knew that he had finally gotten the message.

“Well I guess I should be happy and call it a night” I said out loud even though no one was here with me. I wasn’t sure why I needed to say it out loud; maybe it was to convince myself that this was the right thing to do.

As I was making my way over to my room I heard my phone ring again.

Just ignore it and walk away, I told myself as I kept walking towards my room.

As I was about to turn the handle to my bedroom I heard it ring again and couldn’t help but stop to listen to it ring.

I wasn’t sure why but I turned around and went to my coffee table.

“Don’t ring again” I said as I looked at my phone.

As I was about to walk away once again, it began to ring. I stopped and looked at the screen.
