Presenting. . .  "My Idol Boyfriend"
 

Hi Maddy! I'm one of Playful Melody's oneshot writers; I just wanted to wish you a Happy 16th Birthday! Hopefully I'm not too late? It's still the 9th over here. Anyway, hope you like the oneshot that I've created for you. ^-^

"What kind of boyfriend is he? He can't even find the time to spend with you?"
Maddy's three best friends were the only ones who knew about her relationship with Teen Top's rapper, L. Joe.

Maddy was quiet, her friends wouldn't understand. He does try his best to find time for her. But he's an idol after all. He lives a busy life. It's not as easy as it seems for someone like him to find time.

"When was the last time that you and him were together?" one of her friends asked her.

"A little over a month" she mumbled.

"See? Seriously, what kind of boyfri-"

"Stop it" her other friend told the girl. She turned to Maddy. "Noraebang? Sounds okay?"

Maddy nodded, "Let's do that then"

Meanwhile..

"When will we land in Seoul?" L. Joe thought. It was already 6:30 p.m. It takes 3 hours from Tokyo to Seoul.

L. Joe was with his group members. They were still having their concert in Japan.

"Everyone has worked hard" the guys bowed at the staff.

Teen Top bid the staff goodbye. They were now heading straight to the airport, heading back to Seoul.

As they waited for their flight. . .

L. Joe couldn't stay in his seat. He got up and started pacing around as he took several glances at his watch.

"What's wrong hyung?" Changjo asked.

"It's his girlfriend's birthday. He's afraid that he won't be able to make it back to Seoul on time" Chunji said, his head resting on his hands.

After three hours, they finally landed in Seoul.

As soon as the guys arrived at their dorm, L. Joe ran into his room and had a change of clothes. He hastily sprayed on the cologne that Maddy gave to him as a gift. Within five minutes, L. Joe was out of his room, and heading towards the front door.

"Hyung, it's already late out-" maknae tried to say to L. Joe, but he was already out of the door.

"Let him be. He hasn't been able to spend time with his girlfriend ever since our Don't Spray Perfume promotion" C.A.P. told maknae.

He quickly changed the subject, "Yah, let's order something to eat. I'm starving" he said as he plopped onto the comfy couch.

"Let's order Chinese takeout!" Ricky suggested, "I'm craving for sweet and sour pork" he said as he rubbed his tummy.

About an hour later. . .

Maddy bid her best friends goodbye. She turned around to head inside the apartment complex that she lived in.

She wanted to check her phone, to see if L. Joe would call. Unfortunately, her phone battery died.

"Maddy!" someone yelled.

Maddy could immediately recognize the voice that was calling for her. A smile immediately crossed her face.

"Byung Hun oppa" she turned around. She looked around. Where was he?

"Over here!" he waved at her. He was riding on a motorcycle. Maddy could catch a glimpse of his blonde hair hiding under the motorcycle helmet.

She headed towards where L. Joe was.

He handed her a bouquet of flowers. "For my birthday girl. Hop on babe"

"Oppa, how do you expect me to hold onto you, if I'm holding onto this?" she looked at the bouquet of flowers and then back at him.

"It's easy" he said. "Wrap your arms around me"

She did as her boyfriend told her. L. Joe then handed her the flowers, "See? It works. Let's go" he said as he accelerated and sped away.

"Oppa, where did you get this?" she meant the motorcycle.

"I borrowed it from a hyung of mines" he told her.

"Hold on tight, araso?"

"Uh" she nodded as she wrapped her arms around his waist tightly.

After grabbing cappuccinos, the two caught up with each other's lives as they walked along the Han River.

Maddy's phone started to ring. It was her older sister. She stopped in her steps. L. Joe curiously looked at her.

She took a deep breath. She knew that she broke her curfew; this wasn't her first time either, ever since she's gone out with L. Joe. She knew that she would get scolded.

"Yah, where are you?! Do you know what time it is?! Hurry and come home! You know that mom and dad will kill me if-" Maddy cut her sister off.

"Sorry unnie, I'll be on my way" she said as she ended the call.

He took her phone.

"Oppa, what are you doing?" she curiously looked at him.

"Why do you have Niel's part as your ringtone?" L. Joe asked as he pressed a few buttons on her cellphone.

He started to rap his part in Angel; recording his voice into her phone. As he did so, he looked right into Maddy's eyes.

"Yo, I'll always give you my smile. More than anyone else  I'll make you the happiest person. I start everyday while thinking of you. My smile stays still all the same. I'm so happy, what should i do?"  (Teen Top's Angel)

He pressed a few more buttons, and handed her back her phone. "Use this ringtone from now on, araso? Don't use some other guy's voice as your ringtone"

She smiled at him. She linked her arm with his, "Araso araso"

After a long night of going out for a late night snack, catching a movie, coffee, and a walk along the Han River, L. Joe took Maddy home.

"I had a great time oppa" she lingered at the front entrance of her apartment complex.

"Same here. Wait, I almost forgot" he said as he opened the motorcycle trunk. He pulled out a small black bag. Inside the bag was a medium box.

"Happy Birthday babe" he said and handed her the bag.

"Aww, thanks Byung Hun oppa" she beamed.

He leaned in closer towards her and gently kissed her on her lips. L. Joe finally pulled away.

"Can I see what's inside?" she asked him.

"Uh" he nodded.

She opened the box; inside it contained a purple perfume bottle.

"I love it. Thanks again" she gave him a hug.

They were swinging their intertwined hands back and forth. L. Joe didn't want to let go of Maddy at all, neither did she. It has been so long since they've last seen each other.

"Hey" L. Joe had an idea.

"Uh, what is it oppa?" Maddy asked him.

"I have a couple of days off from the group's schedule this week. Let's plan on going out everyday during my break. Will you be okay with that?"

"Of course I'm okay with it! Sounds really great oppa" she gave him a sweet smile.

"I'll call you" he said as he gave her a quick kiss. "Good night"

"Night Byung Hun oppa" she waved at him.

"I guess it's not that bad being an idol's girlfriend. Lee Byung Hun, you actually try to find the time for me, for us, even though he has a hectic schedule" Maddy thought as she looked at the back of L. Joe.

She quietly unlocked the door and tip-toed into her house. It was already 1 a.m.

Before going to sleep, she texted her boyfriend.

To: L. Joe <3

Oppa, if I haven't said this before. . .I really really like you, Lee Byung Hun. ^^

From: L. Joe
To: Maddy <3

Me too. ^^ Goodnight jagiya. Sweet dreams. Dream of me and only me, araso?

Maddy smiled as she read his text. She placed her phone on top of her night stand. She soon fell into a slumber, with L. Joe in mind.
