Yeon Ha was remembering the last thing that her father said to her.

-1 month ago-

“Yeon Ha-ah, Come here...” Yeon Ha’s father called her to his side who was lying down on the bed. He had cancer and been sick for ages, still trying his very best to live as long as he could. “Yeon Ha-ah, I’ve been always proud of you… I want…” he couldn’t finish his words and kept on coughing “I want you to… take this with you…” It was a necklace which belonged to him. Then he closed his eyes, weakly looking pale.

-Now-

She has now lived with her mother and her sister Yoona who has been really mean to her for all this time when her father passed away. They didn’t do anything else except for just telling Yeon Ha to do all the house work. If not, she will get punished.

“Yeon Ha-ah, we’re finished eating. After you finish eating, clean the dishes” Her mother said, coming in her room. ‘Aish, seriously I hate my life.’ She was talking to herself and was walking down the stairs to go clean the dishes straight away because she didn’t feel like eating anything. When Yeon Ha was downstairs and was about to go to the kitchen there was a voice from behind,

“Yeon Ha-ah, I heard that you have a boyfriend.” Yeon Ha looked at Yoona and saw her holding a lot of pictures with her and her boyfriend out on a date and threw those pictures infront of Yeon Ha. ‘, don’t I even have privacy?’ and was just looking at Yoona.

“I want you to invite him for dinner today. Call him. Now. Infront of me.” Yoona said with a demanding voice. Yeon Ha couldn’t do anything but to just call her boyfriend infront of Yoona.

‘Yoboseyo…’

“Ah..Taecyeon-ah, are you free today?”

‘Yes, I am… why?’

“My mother and sister wants to see you, wants you to come and have dinner..”

‘Oh, Ok! I’ll come… what time?’

Yeon Ha put the phone away and ask Yoona what time he should come when she just snatched the phone of Yeon Ha,

“Yoboseyo?”

‘Yo… yoboseyo?’

“I’m Yeon Ha’s sister, Yoona, nice to meet you!”

‘It’s nice meeting you too…’
 
Yoona gave Yeon Ha the looks to go away and do the works that she was suppose to do. Yeon Ha wanted to talk to Taecyeon more when she had to finish her dishes. ‘I have a bad feeling that Yoona is going to do something…’ Yeon Ha turned back to see Yoona who was laughing on the phone with Taecyeon.

Yeon Ha started cleaning the dishes when there was a voice calling out “Oh~! Yeon Ha? She is in the toilet right now!” Yoona was saying that so that Yeon Ha could hear it. She hit the tap so hard to get rid of all her anger. ‘She is going to take Taecyeon away…’

Yeon Ha stopped washing the dishes and went up to Yoona taking the phone off her. She was whispering to me “What do you think you’re doing?” Yeon Ha ignored her and said to Taecyeon,

“Taecyeon-ah, its me your Yeon Ha…”

‘Ya! Where were you, it was really weird talking to your sister…’

Yeon Ha made a soft laugh towards Yoona, she was looking straight towards Yeon Ha’s eyes, knowing that she’s angry. Yoona mouthed Yeon Ha ‘Get off the phone now!’ but she just ignored her and got up saying,

“Onnie, clean the dishes for me, alright?” and went back to her talking, just to make fun of Yoona.

‘Yeon Ha-ah, you know what day it is tomorrow?’

“What day is it…?”

‘Can you come out right now? Then I will tell you’

“Haha, Taecyeon-ah~ I know what day it is tomorrow!”

‘Aish!... Just come out now~’

“I can’t…”

‘Aish~ Then tomorrow, at the park we met the first time at 7pm.’

“Ok, bye~”

Yeon Ha hung up the phone, and went down the stairs and saw her mother cleaning the dishes when Yoona was crying. Yeon Ha went up to her mother and was about to ask her what happened when she slapped her face.

“HOW DARE YOU MAKE YOONA CRY?!?”

Yeon Ha couldn’t say anything but saying sorry to her mother. She couldn’t cry and complain about how her life is, what Yoona did to her. She sometimes wants her father back alive. Yeon Ha went up to Yoona and spit out the word ‘Sorry’ when she looked up at her and smiled. Yeon Ha wasn’t surprised at her acting because she was used to it. “So… Is he coming?” Yoona asked while still crying and she replied, “No, Taecyeon said he's not going to come because he doesn’t feel comfortable eating dinner with us…” Then Yoona got up screaming infront of her face saying, “You liar, then why did you tell me what time?!” and Yeon Ha replied, “to let you talk to him.”

Yoona stopped crying, she smiled and said, “Really?” Yeon Ha wanted to feel like punching her face but then she said ‘Yes’ to calm her down. Yeon Ha went upstairs after saying that. She went up and lie down on her bed thinking, ‘What should I wear tomorrow…?’

-Next Day-

Mother and Yoona went out for shopping, Yeon Ha felt so relieved that she could be alone now without them telling her to do things. Yeon Ha lie down on the sofa which she haven’t never sat there or touched it before. She always stayed inside her room. She was thinking ‘Ah~ I decided what to wear, and now I just need to wait till the time goes.’

-5:30pm-
 
Yeon Ha got ready to go out when she got a call from Yoona, which she just normally ignores. She went out and walked to the footpath straight forward because it was only 10 minutes away from her place. There was another phone call she saw who it was… It was Taecyeon.

“Yoboseyo~”

‘Where are you??’

“Hehe, I’ll be there soon!”

‘I’ll be waiting for you, I just wanted to call you saying that you can come abit late, but since you're out already! Can’t wait to see you.’

“Me Too!!”

They ended the call. She was walking and thinking when there was another vibration, it was again Yoona.

“What do you want?”

‘Are you going out to meet Taecyeon?’

“H…How did you know that?”

‘You can’t go, and I’ll make you!’

She hung up on Yeon Ha. Yeon Ha just laughed and said to herself ‘Stop me if you can…’ and was just walking when there was a sound of a car beeping and coming towards her really fast……………………………

Taecyeon’s P.O.V

‘Aish, when is she coming?’ It was already 6:30pm. I’ve been waiting for her since 5pm to prepare a special event for her. “Yeon Ha-ah… Where are you...?” I took my phone and called her. ‘The person is not available…’ Seriously what do they mean by not available she picked her phone up before. ‘I have to go look for her…’ I ran towards to the place where Yeon Ha will come out.

Story's P.O.V

Taecyeon was running and looking everywhere to look for her, when he went to the place where Yeon Ha was just before. He found a necklace that he gave her. “Yeon Ha-ah…” He looked at the necklace and saw that there was blood over it. He got worried and kept on looking for her. Later on, he gave up and went to Yeon Ha’s place.

He couldn’t see the door bell next to him he just knocked on the door so hard calling out for Yeon Ha when instead of Yeon Ha, Yoori came out with her red eyes. Taecyeon had a bad feeling going inside the house, but he gave himself a push and went inside and saw the police and everyone there.

“What happened…?” Taecyeon asked the police. “Yeon Ha-yang is gone missing…” the police told him. Taecyeon’s heart stopped beating, he felt like he wasn’t living in this world anymore, the one and only his first love Yeon Ha was gone missing. He stepped backwards and leaned on the wall.

“Are you alright?” Yoona asked him worriedly, Taecyeon didn’t say anything to her, he was shocked and was having a heartache, that her girl was gone. Tears went down his face when the police got a call saying that ‘Yeon Ha was found dead…’

-2 Years Later -

Taecyeon still didn’t forget about Yeon Ha but was now engaged to Im Yoona her sister. Taecyeon was involved in a fight with some gangsters after the shock that he had of Yeon Ha’s death that now the gangsters were out looking for him.

Taecyeon thought that they couldn’t find him because they are now living in a different country, because he wanted to forget about Yeon Ha, but the country that Yoona chose was Japan where Yeon Ha wanted to go to, so it was hard to forget about her.

“Taecyeon-ah, what should we do today? Yoona asked him with a bright smile which didn’t do any good to Taecyeon. “……… I don’t know…” Taecyeon just answered her with no interest of going out. Yoona kept on begging him when Taecyeon screamed out “Just leave me alone! If I say No, it’s a No. Don’t you understand?” and went out of the house to take a break of his own from Yoona.

“Hah… Jinjja… She can’t leave me alone for one minute…” Taecyeon was talking to himself while walking when he saw this girl who looked like Yeon Ha. He went up to her and turned her around.

“Yeon Ha-ah…” the girl looked at him weirdly, “I’m not Yeon Ha, my name is Han Eun Seol, I’m Eun Seol not Yeon Ha…” and she was about to go when Taecyeon turned her around again. “Don’t lie to me… Yeon Ha-ah… You promised we’ll be together no matter what happens…” Eun Seol pushed him away and gave him looks which wasn’t pleasant.

Yoona who was behind Taecyeon gasped when she saw Eun Seol because she thought that Yeon Ha was her as well. She sighed and walked up next to Taecyeon “I’m really sorry about him…” and was about to take him away from her when he faced Yoona and said, “Just give me a break, I am engaged with you, but I'm not married with you. I will never be.” Taecyeon pushed her away and faced Eun Seol.

“Just for a day, can you be with me…?” Taecyeon pleaded Eun Seol, then she smiled and nodded calling her friend saying that she can’t go meet with them. “Sure, but it's only today, because you know…” She came up towards Taecyeon’s ears and whispered, “your girl is giving me the looks…” and laughed.

Taecyeon took hold of Eun Seol’s hand, ‘Her hands are soft and cold like Yeon Ha’s hands…’ he looked at Eun Seol abit surprised. Taecyeon smiled and took her somewhere whilst Yoona was trying to plan something to get Taecyeon back from her.

They had a long time together and was heading to the club. Taecyeon was holding soju in one hand and dancing along, whilst Eun Seol was just drinking soju, sitting down. She couldn’t take it any longer she left the soju bottles and went towards Taecyeon and danced with him. ‘Yeon Ha-ah, its been a long time we went clubbing too…’ He was drunk and saw Eun Seol as Yeon Ha.

Eun Seol just said “I know…” and kept on dancing along with him, when they were having fun Taecyeon suddenly grabbed Eun Seol’s hands and went out of the club and drove her somewhere, “Ya! You can’t drive when you're drunk like that.” She knew where he was heading off too, he headed off to the nearest hotel.

Eun Seol was rejecting him but he was too strong, when they went inside the room Taecyeon was just lying down on the bed, when Eun Seol was just laughing at herself of what Taecyeon was doing. “Ya, are you joking around with…..” Taecyeon suddenly got hold of Eun Seol’s wrist and pulled her to his side and planted his lips on hers. Eun Seol didn’t refuse him she just put her arms around his neck. “Hah- Yeon Ha-ah… I love you…” and they started kissing more deeply…

-Next Day-

Taecyeon woke up and saw he had no clothes on. He saw who was sleeping next to him, it was Eun Seol. Taecyeon couldn’t remember what he did yesterday. He quickly got up and dressed himself up waking Eun Seol up. “Eun Seol-sshi… wake up…” he tapped her shoulders, she didn’t wake up. Taecyeon ended up shaking her up which she screamed out “Urgh, don’t shake me like that, my back hurts!!” Taecyeon stopped shaking Eun Seol and asked, “Your back…?” Eun Seol then looked at Taecyeon and asked “Don’t you remember? Yesterday night?” Taecyeon then remembered what he had done to Eun Seol yesterday.
 
When he checked his phone there was 37 calls from Yoona. He called her up,

‘YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’

“I’m sorry, I couldn’t pick the phone up..”

‘Come home now, mum’s coming!’

“WHAT??!?!”

‘Mum is coming to our place so you better come now!’

“Ok, wait! I’ll be right there!”

Taecyeon was rushing, he was washing then brushing his hair and dressing up with the clothes that he wore yesterday. Then he faced Han Seol and wrote on a piece of paper “If anything happens just call me ok?” and ran out of the hotel.

Taecyeon ran towards the house when he saw a familiar looking black car. He thought that it might be the same car that the person has and just went up the stairs he pressed the door bell and there was Yoona.

“Yoona-ah, did you wait along time?” Yoona shook his head and went close to his ears, “Run away Taecyeon, they are here for you… RUN!” then he saw the house, there was those gangs who were looking for him. Taecyeon ran down the stairs as fast as he could. He was about to go to the entrance when there was a loud gun sound, he stopped.

“Where do you think you’re going?” The leader of the gang asked him and his backups were holding Taecyeon’s arms. The lead came up to Taecyeon and punched his face as hard as he could that Yoona from behind screamed out loud. Taecyeon twisted the guys arm and got him loose and punched them. He was about to turn and run outside when the lead took out his gun pointing at him. “I will give you a day, to come and join us, or else…” he shot the gun at the bird which is now dead. The gangsters went and Yoona came running down the stairs.

“Taecyeon-ah, who are they? Are you ok?” Taecyeon just got up ignoring Yoona and started to walk up the stairs. “Taecyeon-ah, can’t you act the same way as you did to Yeon Ha?” Taecyeon stopped walking up the stairs and faced Yoona “I don’t want Yeon Ha’s name to be called from your mouth.” Then started walking up again. When Taecyeon was at his room he just sat on his chair and leaned on the table. ‘Dying… OR… Living…?’ that was his choice.

-Next morning –

Taecyeon got up and got ready to go up to the gangsters who will be waiting for them. He had already decided what he will do. He smiled at his decisions and looked at Yoona. “Yoona-ah, I’ll be back soon alright? Don’t be worried. Also, if I don’t come back… Don’t wait for me…” Yoona was crying, she knew what Taecyeon’s decision was, “Don’t go… I don’t want you to go…” He turned his back on Yoona and walked down the stairs. He heard Yoona crying out really loud.

He drove his way to the gangsters and went up to them. In one hand he had a cricket bat and in other hand he was grabbing a gun. He shot 3 guns towards the sky and 10 gangsters came out. Taecyeon shot the remaining 2 guns on two guys, then ran towards them holding up the cricket bat up high to get ready to hit them.

-BANG-

There was a sound of a gun, the cricket bat was on the ground, Taecyeon got into his knees and was panting. He got shot near his heart. “Hah, Hah—“ the leader came towards Taecyeon and pointed the gun towards his head. “Any last words?” then Taecyeon shook his head when there was a vibration on his phone. “I guess you do.”

Taecyeon saw who it was, it was Eun Seol. Taecyeon then looked at the leader and said, “I got something…” Taecyeon stopped talking because he vomited blood. “hah…hah—I got something to say to her…” and then the leader laughed then said, “Only a short time,” then he picked the phone up.

“Eun Seol-ah…”

‘Where are you… I need you now…’

“Eun Seol-ah, I can no longer can be with you…”

‘I… I have your baby, Taecyeon, our baby needs you!’

“Eun Seol-ah, there was this girl that… hah…hah—that I loved, the girl who made my heart beat when I saw her at the first time.”

‘Taecyeon-ah…’

“My heart will only beat towards… her.”

-BANG-

The leader pulled the gun and shot his heart which made Taecyeon dropped his phone and was now lying down on the floor; lots of blood were coming out from him and he looked pale.

- 1 year later -

 

Eun Seol had a baby born girl, which she named ‘Tae Eun’, she named her name by combining Taecyeon and her name together. She was opening child care service at Japan with her friends living a normal life. While…

Yoona who came back to Korea and told everything to her mother what happened at Japan. Yoona was crying and showing her mother the letter that Taecyeon wrote before going out to face them. Yoona didn’t open the letter yet. Yoona was so scared to open the letter that her mother opened it and read what it was, Yoona was crying so badly.

          Yoona-ah, for all this time… I’m sorry that I was acting so cold towards you… I never had been nice to you, for all this day all this time… you are right, I’ve only thought of Yeon Ha, I know I’m not suppose to do this and say this because it might break your heart but… I never had feelings for you, you were just like my friend to me, Yoona-ah, I’m not going to regret my choices, if we meet again… well in the next generation, if we meet again, hope we will be together… but now, I am ready to go to Yeon Ha, who will be waiting for me up there… also… even though I live and were with you… my heart wouldn’t be beating towards you… because my heart will be only beat towards only one person… only one girl… Im Yeon Ha…
