It took Onew fifteen minutes to reach Minho, but by the time he got there, Minho was already sitting next to a small boy with chestnut coloured hair. Onew watched from his car, watching the two.

                Taemin had been jogging down the street, listening to his favourite Beyonce song when he noticed a small window sweets shop. Delighted, he ran in and purchased four fudge blocks. He’d eat one now, one for desert and save the rest for later. He happily chewed on his fudge when he spotted a familiar figure.

                He decided to be a sneaky little Tae. Walking behind Minho, he covered Minho’s eyes with his hands.

                Minho immediately tensed up, scared that his father found him and that he was going to be beaten and starved.

                “Hyung~ Guess who it is!” The voice chirped and Minho immediately knew who it was.

                “T-Taemin?” He relaxed a little when he heard the laugh.

                “Hi, hyung,”

                Minho managed to hide his fear and looked right into Taemin’s eyes. He didn’t notice the faint blush that ran across Taemin’s plump cheeks.

                Taemin and Minho made small talk, mostly with Minho listening to Taemin’s recount of the movie he’d just watched. He was listening quite intently when his phone buzzed.

                From: #1 Hyung

                                Minho-gun r u ok? Who is with u?

                Taemin noticed Minho had stopped listening, but he took this opportunity to study his friend’s features.

                From: Choi Minho

                                Taemin. Where are you hyung?

                Taemin noticed the big brown eyes. They were hard to read. He saw the dark chestnut hair. It probably would have been curly had it been longer.

                He noticed Minho’s strong, rough hands. Minho seemed like the kind of guy who would be muscular, but Taemin decided Minho looked like skin and bones. He briefly wondered how much Minho weighed.  He was so engrossed in noticing Minho that he didn’t notice Onew walking up to Minho, placing a hand on his back and earning a huge smile from him.

                Taemin felt jealous. He didn’t know why.

                “Taemin, this is Onew-hyung,”

                Taemin’s heart burned with jealousy. “I’m Lee Taemin,”

                “Ahh, maybe we’re related then, Taemin-gun. I’m Lee, too.”

                Taemin couldn’t help but somewhat like Onew. But he was still jealous and he still didn’t know why.

                Onew offered to take Taemin home and Taemin happily obliged. He felt like he had to get between Onew and Minho. He didn’t know why.

                And then Taemin went home. His heart hurt.

                Minho was smiling.

                Minho was laughing.

                Minho was happy.

                And not because of Taemin.

                And Taemin was jealous.

                And he did not know why.
