"When will you realize i'm not like the rest?"
Because Of My Best Friend"Often in life, we forget the things we should remember, and remember the things we should forget."

Ayuki Matusmoto's POV
Unlocking the door to the house, I took a big breath and entered, closing the door behind me. I went straight into my room and layed on my bed. I closed my eyes, thinking about everything that happened today.
"Why do you always do this to me?" I asked, as I felt a tear of mines, roll down my cheek.
Feeling chilly, I didn't bother to change, nor take off my jacket.
With the lights still on, I crawled under the blanket sheets, and cried myself to sleep.
Arioka Daiki's POV
"This way!" Nao's older sister yelled as she pulled onto my shirt, dragging me to the staircase.
In my head right now, I couldn't think straight about Nao. The image of Ayuki's shocked face kept re-appearing in my mind. I wanted to see her right now. I need to...
"Follow me!" She exclaimed again, opening the door to the 2nd floor.
She lead me into a rather big room and my gaze fell upon a girl who was laying on the hospital bed. The oxygen mask was placed on her and some wires were connected from her to a monitor. No one was there except for me, her sister, and two other nurses who seemed to be occupied with writing.
I walked over to the bed and sat down on the chair.
"Nao.. It's okay. Don't worry." I slowly said. I took a deep breath and began again. "I'm here."

December 29 Morning:
Ayuki Matsumoto's POV
"ahh.. It's morning.." I said as I awoken from the bright light tha beamed through the window. I lifted my hand up and rubbed my eye. I noticed something wet dripping down my cheek as I touched it.
"A tear?"
I quickly wiped it away, and crawled out of bed.
Something seemed different.
I remember leaving the lights on before sleeping.. and my... clothes.. I was in my pajamas. I remember having my jacket, sweater, jeans, scarf, socks, and necklace on.
Daiki?
I walked out of my room and peered into his room.
He wasn't there. He didn't come home?
I searched my bag for my phone. Once I found it, I quickly scrolled through my contacts and called his number.
Within a few rings, he finally picked up.
"Dai-chan?" I asked.
"yeah?"
"Where are you?"
"uhm... I'm uh.. at a classmates house.."
I raised my eyebrow. It didn't sound convincing but I just went along with it.
"souka.. By any chance.. Did you come home last night?"
"yeah. for a little while. I was tired so I got some sleep."
"I was just wondering uhm.. Were you the one that changed my clothes and turned off the lights?"
There was a long pause for he answered. "Yeah.."
I took a big gulp then replied. "I see.. Uhm.. You never told me where you went yesterday. It seemed like an emergency. Did you get there okay?"
"You sound like an investigator." Daiki said, laughing from the other end of the line.
"Gomen. I was just really curious."
"ii yo.. I was.. at the hospital. One of my old friends... was in an accident. I g
