"Daiki.. I. I..." I stuttered.

"Douanou?" He said, wiping my tears.

"I guess...I..." I tried again.

"What is it?"

"I.. I... I'm in love with.. with.. my best friend!" I cried. 

I was expecting him to walk away and leave me standing there but instead, I felt myself being pulled into a hug.

"You finally realize it... I'm in love with you too." He replied.

I bit my lip. "Dai-chan.." I cried.

"Nakenaide." He smiled. "I'm here. I've always been. And always will." 

He leaned in and I was ready to be kissed. But suddenly It felt like the ground opened up before me and I was swallowed in.

"Ayuki! Ayuki!" I heard Daiki call my name. 

The faint of the sound grew louder and louder and before I knew it I found myself in my own bedroom. 

"AYUKI! GEEZ! How did you even sleep on the floor like that?" Daiki yelled, helping me up.

"I guess I was really tired last night." I said, rubbing my eyes. 

He laughed.

"what's so funny?" I said, puffing my cheeks.

"morever besides that... why in the world were you calling my name in your sleep?" He grinned.

I felt my face burning up. "I wasn't calling your name while I was sleeping. I was calling you to stop waking me up." I lied.

"Yeah sure but you were like 'Daiki! I-I-I" He said, imitating my voice. Or attempting to..

"I DONT SOUND LIKE THAT!" I whined.

"Yes you do!" He imitated me again.

"Wait..." I paused. "Did i say anything else in my sleep?" I said, widening my eyes.

He thought for a second. "No.. Just 'Daiki!'"

"souka.." I said, sighing in the inside as a relief.

"Did you have a nightmare?"

I shook my head.

"so a good dream?"

I thought about it then I shooked my head again. "I don't think it was a nightmare nor a good-dream. Both I guess?"

"Ahh... So a good nightmare dream!" He smiled.

I laughed. "Baka!"

"Hey! Maybe there is something like that!" He laughed along.

"MHMM only in YOUR good nightmare dream!"

"You're just jealous you never dreamt about a good nightmare dream." Daiki said sticking his tongue out at me. 

"Oh really?" I demanded.

"Yes REALLY"

"maybe i did!"
