I woke up this morning un-abnormably happy. "It's christmas eve! It's Christmas eve!" I sang. I leaped out of my bed and washed up humming a christmas song to myself. 

I walked back to my bedroom, picked up my cellphone and scrolled through the contacts to Daiki's number. Probably around the 3rd ring, he picked up.

"Dai-chan. Merry Christmas Eve!" I exclaimed.

"arigatou nee. Merry Christmas eve to you too!" He answered back.

I smiled. "Right now.. you're with Nao chan right?" 

"Yeah. We're shopping right now, eating lunch later, then ice-skating, then a movie." 

"aww. That sounds fun. Tell Nao-chan I said Merry Christmas eve to her as well!"

"Un. Okay." Daiki said. After 5 seconds, he came back onto the phone. "Nao says the same and hi." 

"Ahh... Don't forget about later okay?" 

"I won't."

"See you later then Dai-chan."

"Jyane Ayuki."

We hanged up the phone and I walked down into the living room, there was a letter on the table. I placed my phone on the table, picked up the note, and un-folded it.

Happy Merry Christmas Eve Ayuki! Gomen nee about last night. I have a little early present for you. if you turn around, it's on the couch. But before you walk towards the couch, read everything first. I know that you are hiding something from me to Ayuki. You don't have to go through it alone. I smiled and folded the paper back up. I walked towards the couch and peered over it, finding a medium sized penguin stuffed animal and along side of it, were chocolates and a rose. "Dai-chan you baka... It looks like what a guy would would do on white day.." I laughed, picking up the gifts. "You're the best."
