FIRST OFF~! I'm SOOOO SOOOO SOOO sorry for this super duper late update! Third POV

Daiki threw open the door and ran out into the cool air, grabbing only his phone with him. He panted heavily as he soon then reached the front entrance of the nearby hospital. 

--A while ago--

Daiki picked up the phone, hearing slight cries into the speaker. 

"Hello?" He said into the phone, raising an eyebrow.

"Daiki? I'M SO SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO RUN OUT LIKE THAT!" Nao cried from the other side of the line. "I'm SOO SORRY!"

"Nao doua? Daijoubu?" Daiki asked, suddenly standing up. 

"Kento kun.. he.. " 

Her voice stopped. She held the phone in one hand while using the other to wipe her tears. She couldn't speak. felt clenched

"Where are you right now?" He alarmly asked. 

"Hospital." She managed to say. 

"Which one? The nearby one?"

"an." She wanted to say "Un" but her voice forbided her. 

"I'll be there fast." He said before hanging up. 

--back to reality--

Daiki's hands trailed through his pockets for his phone. "Ayuki. Ayuki. Ayuki." He kept repeating to himself. His fingers automatically scrolled through his phone, desperately trying to find her number. However, for some reason, he frozed and stared at her name. "I haven't made contact for her for a long time already.." He thought. "But Nakajima Kento IS her boyfriend..." 

After a long sigh, the boy shoved his phone back into his pockets and proceeded into the hospital.

Ayuki's POV

It's white day.. 12am. I pulled my blanket over my head and closed my eyes, trying to sleep for the nth time. I don't want to go to the dance tonight. I really don't mind Kento but honestly, I didn't want to Daiki and Nao together. I sighed and thought of the happy times to ease the aching pain in my heart. It was difficult because all of the happiest moments were shared with him as well. 

Ten minutes passed and I was finally able to get myself to sleep... That was until my phone rang.

i glanced at the incoming name and frowned. Nao. 

Should I even pick up? 

Full of regret, I answered the call and before I was able to utter a word, Nao's words came pouring into my side of the phone. 

"Ayuki?! Ayuki-chan?!" 

"N-Nani?" My voice croaked. The urgent tone in her voice caught me off guard and I sat up on the bed. 

"Can you come to the hospital that's close to the school?" 

"Eh? Nande? Did something happen?" 

"Kento-kun.. He... He's in critical condition." 

I swore my world frozed again at the moment. Kento was always there for me when I fell from Daiki's words. If Kento left my side, I don't know what I would do.

"I-I'm on my way!"

After saying those words, I ran out of the house wearing only a short sleeve, some sweats, and sneakers.
