Chapter 21

Dongho’s POV

Waking up is harder and harder every day, Why you ask?

Because I fall asleep with Aiden and I never want to leave his side and just sleep forever by his side.

Today is Tuesday and today is another day of work; but it is just the song this time, seems that the song was deleted so we have to go in a record again. And then I have filming.

I sighed and got up and stood in the bathroom for a while, staring at my reflection….

Why didn’t I hit Hyungsik right then and there?

Why does my heart beat faster when I hold Aiden’s hand or when I’m around him…?

I fix my messy hair and washed my face with ice cold water.

I hang my head and let the drop fall one by one “Hyungsik has no right to hit him…” I whispered.

“Dongho-ah?” I lift my head and see Aiden’s worried face in the mirror, “Are you okay?” I just stared at him, asking myself why Hyungsik would hit such a cute and innocent boy.

There I go again…Aish I must be going crazy…

“Ne, just washing my face. What’s wrong?” I asked, I noticed that his eyes were sad

“Nothing, I’m going to be with Alexander…”

“Okay, when I’m done it’ll be back around midnight…I won’t be here…”

“It’s okay, I know your busy. I may cook with Hoon when I get home….”

“Okay…” I said, I dry my face and see Aiden staring in the reflection, but he turned away before I could look back at him.

I felt my heart beat faster as I watched him walk out of the room glancing at me again.

Am I….am I falling for him…?

Author’s POV

Aiden sighed as he got into Alexander’s van, he was exhausted from the day before, and he didn’t want to relive it, “So today we are going to go to a café, have photo’s done there and then we are going to a fans meeting”

“Okay…”

“Are you ready for the final act” Aiden scoffed

“I was born ready” the teen smirked.

Today was the day, the day where he and Zander ‘Break up’ and Aiden runs away from him

“Okay, change into this” the teen looked into the bag and his eyes doubled their size

He pulls out a skirt, “What the hell is this?!”

“A skirt?”

“I refuse to wear this!”

“Fine, fine…your jeans will go with the top…” Zander said, annoyed

The driver laughed at the two,

“What??”

“If you two really dated that would be amazing”

“I’m sorry sir…but I’m seventeen….” The teen said looking out the window

“I know, I was just pointing that out.” Alexander started to laugh at the thought of him and the teen together, and soon Aiden laughed too; thinking ‘How in the world would that turn out?’

“I-I think the world would explode if we got together” the teen said wiping a tear from his eye, Zander nodded in agreement

“I think Dongho would love to have you by his side more than me” the latter looked at him

“What?”

“Oh nothing, just me saying random things” Zander said looking back out the window, Aiden looked at him before looking at his hands

Not another word was said the entire way down.

Aiden sighed as he sat back in the van, “Are we done yet?”

“No~ Fans meeting next, then you’re done…well after the ‘fight’” the teen laughed

“That’s right, I yell and after that I fake some tears and run off, from then on I can walk as freely as I want” he says

“Ne”

When they arrive at the fan meeting they hold hand and see a group walk out and hear girls screaming

“Hyung who are they?”

“A new band called Nu’est…Cool right?”

“Wow…they have a girl in their band….”

“Uh, hate to burst your bubble Aiden-ah, but that’s a guy”

“EH?!”

“That’s Ren, he looks very feminine. More than you”

“Wow…” the teen whispered since the group was heading their way, Aiden watches the one named Ren walk past and smile softly at him while the other four stared at him.

He swallows hard, “Double wow…They are handsome and all…but Hyung’s band is better….”

“Of course” Zander laughed before kissing his cheek; “Now come back to earth, we have a show to put on” the elder whispered in his ear and smiled when he led Aiden inside.

Zander waved to everyone as the girl screamed his name and some fainted when he winked at them, Aiden rolled his eyes and sighed as he took a seat next to his ‘Boyfriend’; now time for the act.

Every so often a girl would ask for a hug or give Zander a gift and Aiden pretended to be mad about all this, he even pulled Alexander close to him and whispered

“Oh calm down, their fans; it’s not like I love you any less”

“Really?” the teen asked before turning in fake annoyance

One girl with jet black hair and bright blue eyes came up and handed Alexander a box filled with a bunch of chocolates

“Alexander-Oppa, can I ask for a kiss on the cheek”

“Why should he?” Aiden said, glaring “I’m his girlfriend not you!”

“Honey, calm down. I never disappoint my fans”

“Are you serious?” the teen stood and placed his hand on his hip, “You have the nerve don’t you, walking up and asking for a kiss in front of me” the girl stared at Aiden and Zander stood placing his hands on the latter’s shoulders

“Calm down”

“How can I?!” Aiden screams, “Every time we go out it is for photos or fan meetings and I am getting tired of this!!” he punches the table, making the fan gasp

“Honey I-”

“No, we haven’t had our first date yet!”

“Elizabeth-ah…” Zander steps forward and tries to kiss him

“No…” Aiden takes a few steps back and placed his hand on his arm; digging his nails into his arm to cause pain.

Tears started to for in his eyes, “Y-You don’t really love me do you….” He whispers, “Is that why you won’t go on a first date with me?” his voice grew louder, “Well!?” he screamed

When Zander looked at him without a word Aiden started to walk away then turned and ran

“ELIZABETH!!” the elder yelled, but soon hung his head

The reporters soon bombed him with questions that he has already predicted and answered all.

Aiden sighed in relief as Alexander’s manager gave him his shirt back “Well I guess this is it?”

“No, we will still be friends. He can hang out still, just have to be more careful~”

“Yes, please do; I hope this wasn’t hard on you”

“It wasn’t, it was fun, I’ll always remember this” The teen said “Tell Alexander hyung to text me sometime”

“Very well” the two shook hands and Aiden walked away, putting on a pair of aviators.

“Let’s see…Hyung gave me twenty-five…so I think I’ll get something small” he whispered, looking for a mini market

He walks into the mini market and browsed the shelves “Let’s see…I can get an water, soda, and a sandwich…and I’ll still have cash left over….” After getting his meal he walks out and looks around,

“Wonder if there is a nearby park….” He walks down the street and stops to see a park

He goes and sits on a bench and begins eating.

Aiden stretches and sighs “Today is a lazy day….though it was fun earlier, I am so good at acting…” he says, self-praising

“I’ll say” a voice said from beside him, he looks to find Ren sitting there next to him

“Aren’t you….” The teen thought hard, trying to remember his name

“Ren” he turned to the latter and held out his hand “I’m Cho Minki, but I prefer to be called Ren”

“I’m Ki Jung-hwa, but I prefer to be called Aiden” the two shook hands and Ren looked at his water

“Can I have a sip?”

“Uh…sure, you can keep it”

“Thanks” Ren says taking the bottle and takes a few sips, “So you are Alexander’s ‘Girlfriend’”

“Okay, what gave it away?”

“Nothing, I just knew you were a boy; though you look very much like a girl” Aiden rolls his eyes

“Haven’t heard that one before…”

“I get it a lot” Ren placed both arms on the back of the bench while Aiden lays his arms on his legs

“Yeah…”

“So what’s the story?”

“Eh?”

“You and Zander”

“Ohh…well we are friends…we went out to have lunch and the reporters mistook me as a girl…even though I was in the men’s room….”

“Ahhh…happens to that Taemin kid and I…we have to clear our throats to show that we are male…”

“Hey, Ren”

“Hmm?”

“What are you doing here?”

“Everyone is at the mini mart getting food for the dorm, but then I saw you and thought you may need some company…”

“Even though it wasn’t necessary, thank you”

“Don’t mention it…” the two sat quietly, watching kids run around and play

“So what are you doing on this cool day?” Ren asked to break the silence

“Well after all that happening I’m going to head to my friends…”

“That’s cool” Aiden stands and stretches

“Well, I best be heading to my friends, aish they’ll be worried if I don’t hurry…”

“Do you want me to walk you?” the teen smiled

“I appreciate the offer, but I’m sorry…”

“It’s alright, I understand; we just met and you feel uncomfortable” the teen looked at the ground, Ren laughed “Don’t worry, maybe once in a while we can met up. You seem fun to talk to”

“Really? Most people think differently of me…”

“Yeah, How about tomorrow morning”

“I can’t, I have school…how about afterwards? I can swing by here around six…”

“Okay, coffee shop just down the street?”

“Alright, so see you later?”

“Yea” Aiden bowed and turn and left, Ren watched and once he was out of ear shot he whispers,

“He has a lot on his mind…”

“Yah Ren!” he looked up to see his band mate, taking one last glance at the retreating figure he stands and heads to the van along with the others.

Aiden’s POV

I sighed as I knocked on Donghae’s door; I had the feeling that this ‘Meeting’ Heechul called was bad news…

The door opened to Ryeowook he let me in “Hi Aiden, how are you?”

“I’m alright I guess…just going with the flow in this life…”

“AIDEN!!!”

Whose voice was this again?

“Ye-” I was tackled to the ground and hugged tightly, “GET HIM OFF!!!” I screamed and I felt whoever it was lifted off of me and I immediately crossed my arms over my chest, staring at no other; Heechul.

“What?” He asked

“Well?”

“I thought you were Hyungsik!!”

“Why would you think that?” I just stayed quiet, Ryeowook helped me up and I looked around and found the Eunhae couple in the living room watching t.v, and looked to see it was Hangeul

“Hey Ryeowook, where is Yesung?”

“Well…”

“WE” Heechul said, pointing to all of us “Are going to help Ryeowook set up his first date!”  I looked at Wookie and saw him blushing

“Really?” he nodded “I’ll gladly help”

“Are you sure about that? You know you haven’t heard what you need to do yet…”

“Do I need to dress as cupid?”

“Aniyo…”

“Okay…”

“You’re in charge of getting Yesung to come to the rose garden behind the school tomorrow”

“Problem”

“What?”

“I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE IT IS!”

“I’ll give you a map and you can follow it, and ask him where the garden is because you want to pick out roses for…Dongho-ah” I blushed,

“Y-Yah!” I yelled and saw the Eunhae couple smile at me and I just walked into the kitchen.

I splashed my face with ice cold water and sighed, “Aiden” I heard Donghae say and I saw him sit on the counter

“Ne hyung…?”

“Do you like Dongho? Or is it someone else?” I stared into the sink, watching the droplets fall

Do I like Dongho?

Is that why my heart skips a beat whenever he holds my hand or gives me a kiss…

When I was with Matthew I never felt any of this…

“Hyung…am I in love when my heart skips a beat….” I ask, “When I was with my ex…my heart never increased speed…”

“What do you feel around this person?”

“Whenever he holds my hand, I feel warmth…protected. And when he kisses my hand, cheek, or on my head I feel nauseous but in a good way…”

“Well, you sound love struck” Donghae said getting a towel and lifts my face to look at him and he starts to dry my face, “That is how I felt with Hyukkie, I was nervous to tell him but you helped me overcome that fear…and I want to help you get this guy as a repayment”

“But…what if he doesn’t like me back…”

“You never know until you go out and confess…”

“I…I want to wait until we’re in college…”

“Is he a year older?”

“Ne…”

“I want to graduate with you all…” I said and saw Hae smile

“If you want to do that you have to do summer and winter classes?”

“I understand…I’ll do anything….”

“I like this side of you, strong, no sign or fear or worry” I smiled at him

“Will you guys help?”

“For you? Sure” we smiled at each other and soon joined everyone else and continued with the Yewook couple and their first date.

When I got home no one was home, “Aish” I muttered before throwing myself onto the couch and lay there, thinking about what Hae hyung said

“Dongho-ah…am I falling for you…?”

Knowing I won’t get an answer, maybe a nap will clear everything…

I close my eyes and just when I felt my body weakening I heard the doorbell

“GOD WHY NOW?!” I yelled, and forced myself to get up and answer the door, whom ever is it they will pay for disturbing my sleep!

I yank the door open, and froze

Hyungsik…

The one person I didn’t want to see….

“Aiden-ah”

“What do you want” I asked coldly

“Is Dongho-shi here?”

“No, now that you know; leave” I nearly shut the door in his face but he stopped the door with his foot

“Tell him that CC is still waiting for him to come back. And for you Aiden, you’ll be mine soon; trust me” I used all my strength to shove the door shut and lock it

Eli and everyone has a key...they can unlock the door themselves, I step away from the door

‘You’ll be mine soon; trust me’

His voice echoed in my head

I’m keeping my eyes open…especially at school….

After a few hours everyone came back, and I pretended that what happened earlier didn’t exist, whatever Hyungsik is planning, and Dongho and I have to be careful.

We ate dinner and everyone was excited for their new MV that is coming out soon, “What’s the song title again”

“’Dora Dora’ it’s good right”

“Yes it is” I said, and it was the truth; it was a good song, and I can’t wait to see the whole MV.

“So how did the ‘Break up’ go?”

“It was fun, my acting skills are amazing~!!” I practically sang and everyone chuckled

“Well we’ll just see about that mister~ It will be on a show I just know it” I laughed

“You remember you have school tomorrow right?”

“Ne, tomorrow I’m helping my friends set up a first date for my friend Ryeowook. It seems that they haven’t gone on a proper first date because of their schedule. So tomorrow they will have the perfect first date”

“Awesome, what are you doing?” Hoon asked

“I’m supposed to lead Yesung to the garden, but since I have no clue where it is I am going to ask him to take me there so that way I can get some roses for something…”

“Nice”

“Sounds romantic, the date I mean”

“I agree~”

“Soohyun~”

“Eli~”

“AJ~”

“When will we have our first date?” the three ales asked their boyfriends and Dongho and I laughed at our hyung’s faces

“Soon” Soohyun said

“After our recording is done?” Hoon asked

“Yeah we should go to a theme park or something!”

“How about this” Eli said, “After Dongho and Aiden go on break, we’ll go on a weekend. Sound alright?”

“Yes!” Kevin, Kiseop, and Hoon said hugging and kissing their boyfriends

“EW!” Dongho yelled and I laughed

“Get a room!!” I yelled and we laughed as we pretended to be grossed out.

I yawned when I finally lay in my bed; Dongho did the same and faced me

“Ready for school tomorrow…?”

“Sorta…” I said “After what happened yesterday…I have a feeling Hyungsik isn’t going to give up that easily…”

“Don’t worry Aid, he can’t harm me; check it out, ever since I started that movie the director has me working out now” I sat up and flexed his arm and I laugh, “What’s so funny?”

“It doesn’t make you stronger…” I said in a matter-of-fact tone

“How do you know, I bet I’m stronger than you”

“As if~”

“Is that a challenge?”

“Bring it!” I exclaimed and got out of bed and faced him, he tried to tackle me but I duck and kick his feet from under him and pin him down on his stomach, he struggles a bit

“How are you stronger than me?”

“I just a-” he flips me over and holds me in a head lock,

“Ha! Told you!” I smirked and flipped him onto his back and laughed

“We’re equaled”

“How can someone as small as you have so much strength??”

“Size doesn’t matter~” I said and hopped onto bed, “Let’s sleep, got school in the morning”

“Yeah yea…” Dongho mumbled, I cover myself with the Blanket, “Night Aiden”

“Good night Dongho” I said and turn to my side and fall asleep.
