Chapter 15

Authors POV

Aiden searched through his side in the shared closet for some closes but wasn’t satisfied with anything

“AHHHH!” Aiden yelled and fell onto his bed and sighed heavily

“What, what happened?!” Kevin yelled barging into the teens’ room

“Nothing medical related….I can’t find an outfit for my friend’s party…” Kevin laughed

“Need help?”

“Please?”

“Come into mine and Eli’s room” the teen nodded and followed the older boy.

“Sit here” Kevin said going into his closet, Aiden did as he said and looked around the room, it was a nice cream color, and their beds were blue and white, he smiles looking at a picture of his brother and Kevin on the night stand.

“Aha, how about these” the teen turned to see his hyung hold up a pair of white ripped skinny jeans with a black shirt.

“Oh my god!” Aiden exclaimed standing and walking over and taking the clothes from Kevin, “Can I wear this??”

“Sure, this will look great on you. We’re the same size and height so it will fit you perfectly!”

“Thank you Kevin Hyung!”

“No Problem, now go change”

“Ne; thank you again” Aiden said walking out.

After changing quickly, Aiden soon admirers himself in the mirror “Wow” he whispered,

“Aiden you ready?!”

“Yah! Give me a minute!!” the teen yelled back, he quickly finds the perfect jacket to go with the outfit and grabbed his black high tops, he attached black and white checkered suspenders to the jeans and smiled.

“There, perfect” with one last glance he heads down and comes face to face with his brother

“Remember, if you guys are staying over, text us alright?”

“Arasso” the teen said picking up his backpack and hugs his brother

“Bye hyung” he said as Dongho started dragging him out the door and down the street.

“Oh my god I am actually going to a party!!” Aiden said smiling widely

“Yah, calm down”

“How can I?!” the teen faced the latter, “My very first party without my parents hovering over me, it’s an amazing feeling!!”

“Okay, okay I get it” the teen laughed.

“So, have those people always thrown stuff at you on the bus without me knowing?” at this Aiden stopped walking and watched the latter walk a while until he notices that he stopped and turns to him, “Aiden?”

“The truth is…yes…they have…” at this Dongho walked up to Aiden and lifted the smaller teens face up to his,

“Well that is going to stop soon, Arasso?”

“How…They call me so many names including ‘’, ‘’, and ‘’ they threaten me, mostly the girls. And most guys want to pick a fight with me”

“Aide-”

“You don’t need to do anything Hyung…I’ve been dealing with this for a long time, a few more names, pushed, or whatever. Aren’t going to hurt”

“But I hate the fact that they do this to you” Aiden shrugged

“It’s just the way life and people are” the teen moves away from Dongho and starts walking with the latter following behind.

Once they reach Donghae, and Eunhyuk’s apartment they take a deep breath, “Ready?” Dongho asked hearing music from the other side, Aiden nodded.

One knock and the door opened to Eunhyuk, “Hey guys!”

“Hey there”

“Hi Eunhyuk” the two were dragged in and Aiden’s eyes widened, there were a lot of people in the apartment,

“So this is what a party is like” Aiden thought out loud but no one heard as the music around him blasted. He turns to find both of his hyung’s gone “Really?!” he yelled in frustration.

 Aiden walks into the kitchen and grabs a soda, “First party…and I am left alone…” he mutters to no one, soon he sees someone walk up and smile

“Hey Aiden!” he turns and sees Sungmin smiling brightly at him

“Hey hyung!”

“You alright?! You seem down!”

“Just getting soda, Eunhyuk and Dongho left me!” the teen said shaking his head at the end and sips his soda

“Follow me!” the bunny said taking Aiden’s hand and leading him outside where is was quiet

“Oh my god that you…” the teen whispered rubbing the sides of his head

“No problem, I came with Kyu but he is nowhere to be found…Oh! And I have something to tell you~!”

“Judging by the way you are jumping up and down like a bunny I have a bad feeling about this…”

“Yah!” a smack to the head was received by Aiden

“Ow!”

“I’ll have you know it is a good thing…Now listen to what I have to say”

“Arasso…yah that really hurt…”`

“Good, now the plan will proceed~”

“What plan?!”

“To get you and your secret admirer together”

“What??”

“I figured it out! I know who is it, wasn’t hard”

“Kyuhyun and the rest helped out right?”

“Well one person cannot do it all!”

“Whatever, so who is it?”

“You have to find out yourself”

“Well that’s not fair”

“He will come up to you, and by the way, nice outfit”

“Thanks…”

“Now for extra measurements” Aiden looks at his hyung before receiving yet another smack in the head

“OW!!!”

“Perfect!!” the bunny exclaimed pushing the small teen back into the party.

“Do you really think this is a good idea?” Dongho asked while standing next to Donghae

“I don’t know, what do you think?”

“I don’t know to tell the truth”

“It’ll be fine, like I said earlier; if you like Aiden you should tell him”

“I don’t know, I’m scared”

“Scared of wh-”

“Rejection”

“Don’t worry, I was scared of being rejected by Eunhyuk. But even when Aiden helped Kyu and I out, we were still afraid of rejection. But here we are now, two happy couples”
“Hmm…” was all Dongho said

“Come on, let’s who this ‘Admirer’ is, shall we?”

“I guess” Dongho said following the latter.

(Aiden’s POV)

My head hurts…Thanks a lot Sungmin!! I was now pouting while rubbing my now sore head, waiting for the so called secret admirer.

I sighed when another person walked past me, and I noticed that there were no girls at this party, I noticed that Ryeowook hyung was here too.

Looking I saw this with a guy with black raven-like hair, “Possibly his boyfriend” I thought out loud, and as if on cue he turned and spotted me, smiling he walks over with his ‘Friend’ and hugs me

“Hi Aiden!”

“Hi Ryeowook-ah!”

“It’s good to see you again! This is my boyfriend Yesung~!”

“Nice to meet you! I am Aiden, Ryeowook hyung’s friend!”

“It’s nice to meet you too, everyone talks about you”

“Really?” I said looking at Ryeowook hyung

“Nothing bad I swear!” he smiled at me and grabbed my hand, “Come on! Let’s go play a game!”

“O-Okay” I was a bit scared, I didn’t know what was in store for me.

The three of us walked into Donghae’s room and it was quieter here, I saw Kyuhyun, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Dongho, Sungmin, and Heechul sitting in a circle with other people.

Possibly from school, I hope they are nice…

Rye—Wookie had me sit next to him and had Yesung on my right, “So what’s the game??”

“Truth or dare”

“Yay!” I looked at Wookie hyung

“T-truth…or d-dare??” I asked in a hush voice while everyone else decided who goes first

“Yea, never played it?”

“N-No…okay maybe once…had the worst experience…”

“What happened??”

“I…I don’t want to talk about it…” I stared at my crossed legs, I swore on that day I would never play this child’s game, but here I am, yet again.

“Alright I’ll go first!” Heechul declared and looked around the group then smirked at me

Oh my god no; not me please!

“Aiden!”

God if I didn’t know any better I’d say you are NOT listening to me!!!

“Yes?”

“The deadly truth, or the horrifying Dare~” I don’t know why, but I feel that they are all waiting for a truth where I spill anything or a dare that could cost me my life

“T-Truth…” Stuttered? I freakin stuttered?!

“Okay, are you currently single? Or do you have a lover to spill?”

“I’m single Heechul, you already know that…”

“I know, but not everyone else~” I looked to see Dongho staring at me

“I p-pick Dongho hyung…” I muttered, “t-truth or d-dare…?”

“I’ll go with truth Aiden”

“O-okay…ummm well…” I thought about it for a while the blurred out “What do you think of me?” the moment I said that I covered my mouth and I heard ‘Ooo’’s and ‘Do tell’’s

“I-It’s not like that! I meant as a friend! Y-Yah!” I felt my face heat up, of course they would take it that way…god I am an idiot…

“I like you, a lot you are very special to me” I looked back up to see him blushing and looking away, “Like Aiden said, it’s not like that. I pick Eunhyuk”

“Truth boy!”

“Alright, rumor has it that you and Donghae are together, and I mean boyfriend and…boyfriend; is it true? If so prove it” at this I saw Eunhyuk blush at least six shades of red

“Yah Eunhyuk!”

“Kiss him to prove it!”

“Yea don’t worry!” I heard a boy say, at this I smiled and giggled quietly

“Yo Eunhyuk, I think I should see as well. I was the one to get you together~” at this Donghae blushed madly

“Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss” everyone but Dongho and I chanted, clapping hands.

Heechul pushed Eunhyuk forward towards Donghae making the crash into each other and kiss, Ryeowook shielded my eyes and laughed

“Hey!” I swatted his hand away and glared

“What?”

“What was that for??”

“Protecting your eyes?”

“From the scene??”

“Yes”

“Well don’t….”

“Fine”

The game continued for a while and I got a few good laughs seeing Heechul dance to girl group songs, and then having Donghae act out a scene from ‘Finding Nemo’

At this I noticed one boy hasn’t had a turn yet, he was quiet.

Donghae sat down after acting out yet another scene from the movie, “Alright, I pick Hyungsik. Truth or dare my friend”

“Truth…” the boy named ‘Hyungsik’ said, I wondered what Donghae would ask him, at this point I was interested in the game, Eunhyuk and Donghae shared a kiss, so did Kyuhyun and Sungmin….and Ryeowook and Yesung; I sighed.

I noticed Donghae look around the group and stop at me and smiled, creepy no?

“Hyungsik, is there anyone in this room you have a crush on? If so point out the lucky guy” at this point I turned to Ryeowook to ask him something but he was staring another direction then at me

“What? Is there something on my face?”

“Aiden, I think he is your secret admirer”

“What?”

“Look again” I gave him a confused look but did as he said and saw indeed, Hyungsik was pointing to me.

I felt my heart quicken its pace

Me?

He likes me?

Impossible

“O-oh stop…t-there’s n-n-no way a-anyone would like me….” I stood quickly and hang my head, I could feel my heart quicken with every second I stay in this room “C-Continue your game…I-I’m going t-to get s-s-something t-to drink…” and I escaped the room without a second glance back.

Once again I stand outside, “Just a dream, just a dream” I whispered and pinched my arm

OW !!!

Okay this is NOT a dream!!!

Seriously…it must be a prank, just getting my hopes up; I mean really I am bullied in school why would anyone like me?!

Hyungsik, Aiden…..

Aiden, Hyungsik…..

Makes no sense….back to my ‘Why would anyone like me’ rant!

“A-Aiden…?” I turn to find the Hyungsik kid behind me, closing the apartment door. This time I took the time to look at him properly; he had pretty brown eyes and hair, his bangs cover some of his left eye.

And his clothing looked good, black skinny jeans, grey t-shirt and blue knitted vest, and he had a white watch…nice.

“Hyungsik”

“You remembered my name, that’s cool”

“What are you doing out here? Shouldn’t you be enjoying yourself…?”

“I was, listen Aiden”

“If you’re going to tell me that it was all a prank I get it. No hard feelings man”

“N-No it wasn’t a prank!”

“Eh?” I stared at him, “It wasn’t one, and no strings were involved?”

“A-Aniyo” once again my heart begins to pound again.

“Let me introduce myself properly…I’m Park Hyungshik” he held his hand towards me, I take his in mine and nod slightly

“Kim Jung-hwa, but you can call me Aiden”

“Jung-hwa…nice name”

“Thanks, right back at you” I pulled my hand back and put both hands in my jacket pockets, “So you’re my secret admirer”

“A-Ah…y-yea…” he blushed, I smiled

“Don’t be embarrassed”

“S-Sorry…”

“Don’t be scared either, seeing you stutter doesn’t suit you” he laughed and looked at me

“I guess” he cleared his throat and held out his hand, “Can I see your hand for a moment?”

“O-Okay…” I whispered and held out my hand

“Close your eyes”

“Okay…” I did as he said and turned my head.

Soon I felt something touch my hand, it was thin “Okay open” when I did I immediately looked at my hand, only to find a white rose.

“It’s pretty” I whispered

“It represents you. Pretty and pure, I love everything about you; when you performed I was amazed” I looked up at him “Kim Aiden, will you be mine?” I stood there

“I...I don’t know…I still haven’t gotten over my last break up”

“It’s okay, I can still see you at school” Hyungshik was about to walk off but I grabbed his arm stopping him.

“Aide-”

“I…I will give it a try…” I said; I was hanging my head.

Was I willing to try, and forget Matthew?

Yes I was

“R-really?” I nodded and I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and lifted me in the air, “Thank you!”

“AHHHH!! P-PUT ME DOWN PLEASE!!!”

“What’s wrong?”

“I-I’m afraid of being dropped!”

“Don’t worry, I won’t let you fall”

“R-really?”

“Yes” I felt the fear melt away.

“Okay…I can trust you” I said, when he put me down he kissed my head; my face heated up and I touched where he kissed

“Let’s go inside, ne?” I nodded; he smiled and led me back inside.

Once inside I heard cheers for the two of us and I just hung my head in embarrassment, I looked up and my eyes met Dongho’s, and if I didn’t know any better. It looked as if he was hurt to see me with Hyungshik, “Hyung” I whispered but he turned away and went to talk to Donghae; Hyungshik must have saw my expression because he held onto my hand and gave a light squeeze.

(End of POV)

Everyone inside watched as Hyungshik gave Aiden the rose and possibly confessed, everyone started to sigh when Hyungshik started ti turn and walk back inside, “Guess Aiden didn’t accept”

“Shame, they look good together” Dongho felt better but then someone yelled and everyone looked again to see Hyungshik pick Aiden up and spin around looking happy.

Dongho touched where his heart should be and felt as if he was stabbed, was he jealous? He shakes his head and looks again to see that the newly founded couple had come back in and everyone cheered and congratulated them all but one

Dongho and Aiden shared a long look before Dongho walked off.

Aiden patted Hyungshik’s arm and soon followed Dongho, “Hyung you okay?”

“Yea, just fine. Just tired”

“Then let’s go, everyone will understand”

“Are you sure you don’t want to stay with Hyungshik?”

“Right now I am not sure if I really want another boyfriend, right now I’m still shocked that someone likes me…” Aiden sighed, “I’ll be back” he walks off

“Whatever…” Dongho mutters.

When Aiden came back the two left after saying their goodbyes, and were now walking down the sidewalk heading home, every now and then Aiden would sneak a glance at Dongho but he would always come face to face with the boy and quickly look away and towards the cement.

When they arrived Dongho ran up to their shared room, leaving Aiden standing there, watching

“Aiden what’s wrong?” Hoon asked coming from the kitchen

“I…I’m not sure…”

 “Want to eat something?”

“Ne…” he walks into the kitchen and sits there, rubbing his head

“Are you sure you’re alright?”

“Hyung…can I ask you two things…?”

“Sure go ahead”

“If you were in love with your best friend, and your best friend got a boyfriend or girlfriend. Who would you feel? What would your expression be?”

“Well…” Hoon sighs before giving Aiden two pieces of toast with peanut butter on it, “Well, if I saw my best friend get a girlfriend or boyfriend and I loved he or she a lot. I’d be very depressed, I wouldn’t be happy unless I was with the one I truly love…why?”

“No reason, just wondering.” Hoon looked at the teen, “Alright, alright…my friend saw his best friend with his boyfriend and the look on his face was so…depression and his eyes…were so empty…” Hoon patted the teens shoulder

“It gets better in time; your friend will find someone soon”

“I hope so...”

“Eat up and head off to bed, school in the morning…”

“Arasso…” he said.

After eating and washing up Aiden walks up to the shared room and opened it to find Kevin in the room with Dongho,

“Hi hyung”

“Hi Aiden, I’m going to sleep in here, if you don’t mind” the teen looked at his hyung then at Dongho, the latter didn’t look at him.

“Sure go ahead, I don’t mind. I just wish I was told sooner” the teen glared at Dongho and left the room after getting a clean uniform and heads off to Eli’s room.

“Hyung~!” Aiden whined as he lay on Kevin’s bed, “Dongho hates me!!”

“No he doesn’t”

“Then explain the room changes”

“It’s just for the night, calm down”

“When are you six going to go on a triple date?”

“W-What?!”

“Well you all are couples except Dongho and I, I just assumed you guys would go on dates”

“W-Well…”

“Whatever, I’m going to sleep…” Eli laughed at his childish younger brother.

“Yah its cold get under the covers” when he gets no reply he assumes the teen was already asleep and sighed, rolling his eyes

“Aish this kid” he muttered before placing a blanket over Aiden’s body, “Good night Aiden” he says and ruffles the teen hair before turning out the light and going to sleep.
