LONELINESS.

SAHEE.

This day was strange.

Lu Han-oppa always looked at me, but not in the way he used to.

He looked worried, exhausted and deep in thought.

“Oppa, did something happen?” I asked, “just tell me.”

He still shook his head, took my hand and hold it tightly.

I made a step closer to him and hugged him. His heart was right at my ear.

“Sahee. We have to speak,” Kai said and shot me a serious look.

I furrowed my eyebrows. “Why? What happened to you guys?”

Kai took a deep breath and grabbed my wrist. He took me outside.

His eyes scanned the surroundings while making sure that nobody was there.

“Somebody found out.”

I was confused at first, but I understood what he meant.

“What? Who found out?” I demanded and made a step closer.

My mind drifted to Lu Han-oppa. Did he...?

“It's her,” Kai just said, still looking at me.

Her. Minah. She found out and told Lu Han.

“What should we do?” I asked him.

“I told you not to love a human. They will get hurt.”

Lu Han. He found out.

I bit my lip until it began to hurt.

He sat next to me on the bench, holding my hand absently.

“Sahee. We can trust each other, right?” he suddenly asked.

My eyes widened and I looked at him. But he didn't look at me.

I squeezed his hand lightly and could feel his warmth overflowing.

Then, I nodded slightly, hesitantly. “Yes. Of course we can.”

“So, you would always,” he paused, “tell me the truth?”

I lowered my eyes. “Yes, I would always tell you the truth.”

He didn't say anything. Silence filled the park.

“Sahee. Tell me something.”

I looked at him. “Yes?”

“Are you a machine?”

The words came over his lips, anguished, like he thought about this all the time.

My mouth didn't want to open. I didn't want to admit the truth.

I had always lied to myself. To Lu Han.

“Yes.”

Lu Han's hand slowly loosened. “Why didn't you tell me?”

I looked for words to explain. “I was afraid. I couldn't tell-”

“I have to think about this at first,” he suddenly said and jumped up.

He didn't look at me.

“Oppa, don't go,” I begged, my voice weak. “Don't leave me.”

“We'll see each other later, Sahee.”

He left me on the bench. On the cold bench.

My world suddenly darkened and it began to get cold.

There it was again: loneliness.

My hands even got colder and my eyes suddenly began to water.

Big tears dripped down onto my cheeks.

He didn't love me like that.

Like that. When I'm a machine.
