Ch. 4

Stockholm Syndrome

As soon as Taehyung had left, I got up pulling at the restraints on my ankle. It was tight and scratched at my leg each time I pulled.

I wondered for a long time if I should give up or keep trying for my freedom. Looking around, I blinked.

There was the bed I was sleeping on, the comforter being a dull shade of green with a hint of gold around the corners. The smallest bit of light shone from a window to my right and I ran to it. Or at least tried to, the restraints on my leg only stopped me two feet before my person could actually reach it.

I put the other foot ahead of me and stretched my arms reaching the glass pane. The window was tight shut and my fingers were mere inches away from experimenting if it could open or not.

After a while, I gave up. On my left was a door, and my curiosity gave way destining me to open it up. It was a simple bathroom, with a body mirror, a tub with a shower door. A toilet...

It was a nice bathroom, not very big but bright light and nice tiling. In fact, the whole room was nice, fit for my needs. However, that didn't change the fact at all that I was kidnapped.

I left the bathroom with the sounds of the chain clinking beneath me. There was a fridge across the room and my stomach growled upsettingly.

I marched to the chilled box and opened it to see many bottles of iced milk tea... My favorite drink. The same drink I had in my hand when I met Kim Taehyung. I narrowed my eyes unaware of my thoughts on it now. I snatched one up and opened the bottle bringing it to my lips and taking a large gulp.

Making my way back to the bed, I laid down in the fetal position. The words to a song that I enjoyed listening to every day flew from my lips as a coping mechanism. 'Spring Day'

I woke up when I heard his footsteps coming down the stairs. He had a smile on his face and some bags in his hands. I looked at him with no emotion whatsoever while he slid over a chair to stand in front of me while he plopped down on it.

The scraping noise from the chair made me wince.

He was stripped of his work clothes and sat in comfortable joggers and a gray tee.

"I'm sorry I took so long." Taehyung settled the bags down beside me on the bed. "I went and got you some things after work."

His voice was incredibly sweet and I looked at the white bags with hatred. Does he show me impeccable kindness to make up for his crime?

"Go on open it." Taehyung sounded excited like he was getting the gifts instead of me.

I reluctantly pulled the bags to my lap and peeked in pulling out clothes. Lots of joggers and shirts my size. He spent time buying me clothes. I'm not sure if he would believe I'd be happy about it but this just means he's not planning to let me go soon.

His smile turned into a pout. "Baby, please say something. You use to talk to me a lot. I miss your voice."

"I want my own clothes. From my home." I stated, pulling out a toothbrush and toothpaste from another bag. Bathing items, soap... Shampoo and Conditioner.

"I can't do that." He said. "I'm sorry."

I sighed but said nothing pushing the clothes aside.

"You must've been so bored, and hungry." He looked at the fridge. "I only left you milk tea. I figured you liked those."

"I can't put the pants on," I stated. "The chain prevents me."

"They all have a zipper on one side," Taehyung said smiling and squashing all hope of him removing the chain from my leg.

I flashed a fake sarcastic smile.

"I'm going to get you some food from McDonald's. What do you usually order?"

I didn't answer, I was too pissed off and petty to think of one. And he left anyways.

After the song Oh My on seventeens 5th mini album, the Song holiday is my second favorite 💕💕💕
