Author's Note:

This chapter is purely a flashback chapter but I'm not gonna italicize all the words because I just noticed how hard it is to read it. Just letting you guys know. Likewise, happy reading.

Flashback.

Nathan's figure through the mirror copied his actions as he tugged on the pastel blue coat prepared to leave. "I think we're all good." With a slick smile on his face, he left the restroom and headed towards the groom's room to greet Ravi. 

"Looking good Ravi. Congratulations!" Nathan said giving the man a bro-hug.

"Thanks, not bad yourself but you look kinda off with the suit. Why do I see it bluish in color, or am I seeing it wrong? Is it gray?" Ravi asked curiously touching the fabric.

"Oh, was there supposed to be a theme?" His ears grew red backing away from the other guy.

"Wait, didn't I tell you?" Ravi asked placing a hand over his chin trying to recall the time he invited the guy. Ravi didn't send the invitation to him through email as it was kind of a last minute call.

"You just told me last week about the wedding. I doubt you told me. I wouldn't for get it that easily if you told me that there was a dress code or anything."

"My bad bro.' Ravi covered his mouth, hiding his chuckles from being embarrassed. "Really really sorry. But your suit won't be that prominent if you just stay low. Try to blend in with the others."

"Pff, easy for you to say since you're not the one wearing it." Nathan shook his head.

The two continued to chatter but was interrupted by a knock at the door. "Oh yeah, there are more guests going to come and greet so let's take the pictures real quick before I let them enter." Ravi hurried.

After their short photoshoot, Nathan went back to the hall that looks a lot more livelier as there are a few people in compared to when he first came in.

Are they setting the food now? Nathan thought before looking around as he was sensing a hint of chocolates while trotting back to his table. It wasn't that strong at first but after a few seconds, the scent got stronger.

I don't see them preparing the food out in the buffet yet, and it's too early for them to bring it out even. Especially desserts. Nathan raised a brow as he continued to look around.

Jongin and Taemin from Nathan's table stood up as Miseo came. 

"Just on time. We were waiting for you." Jongin said.

"Did I make you guys wait for long?" The lady said, approaching them.

"Not that long. Come on. Let's go to Ravi and greet him. He might be pissing his pants off from the excitement." Taemin laughed.

"Right. Hang on give me a second." Miseo said busy on her clutch bag to get her phone.

"Don't keep us waiting." Jongin uttered impatiently.

Ah, that's really weird. Nathan thought rubbing his nose, trying to ignore his favorite chocolate scent from getting up his nostrils.

As the wedding ceremony continued, Nathan could still sense the chocolate scent nearby but he couldn't really tell where is it coming from as it was very minimal. I wasn't strong enough to bother him.

This feels weird and new... Does this mean my soulmate is just nearby? Nathan wondered. Is this how one senses it? 

During the dinner buffet. Nathan found a lady ahead of him from the buffet queue, looking bold and confident as she walked her way through the crowd in her pastel yellow blazer. She's not too far from his situation with the pastel blue outfit. Nathan continued to trail his eyes at the peculiar woman until she disappeared in the crowd.

I can't believe someone's not in the dress code just like me. I have to go talk to her later. Nathan thought letting out a chuckle then continued to pile up food on his plate.

Amazing, we're having more chocolates on the dessert! Nathan danced.

He grabbed a big clean plate just for his favorite desserts. His sweet tooth side of him taking over. He took a big slice of the chocolate wedding cake, some of that chocolate fondue and some fruit salad on a small bowl.

I guess that will do. Nathan left the buffet section satisfied, but still had the thought in mind to go for a second round for the desserts if it wasn't enough. In all smiles, Nathan treads back to his table to eat. "Oh?" Nathan almost jumped in his steps upon spotting the yellow blazer hanging by the chair at the same table he's returning to.

I didn't notice she's in the same table as I am. Nathan thought before approaching the lady to sit on the vacant one beside her.

"Excuse me, may I sit here?" 

Miseo looked up towards the guy standing by her right. "I don't think so it would be a problem if you're from this table." She replied.

"Okay." He pulled the chair for him to seat and placed his plate on the table to eat. 

Mm chocolates~ Nathan thought almost letting out a hum upon smelling his favorite scent.

Why do I feel like the chocolate scent just got stronger? Is that because I'm that excited for the desserts?

"I guess I'm not the only one not in the dress code." He started the conversation pointing towards the yellow blazer hanging at the back of the lady's chair. 

I already took it off not to catch attention. Are we still gonna continue on this conversation? Miseo thought.

Her eyes caught  sight of his pastel blue suit. Oh, thankfully I wasn't the only one not wearing gray. But the color could pass for a camouflage for gray, it wasn't really that noticeable.

"Your suit is excused. It's not as bad as mine. So don't group yourself with me." Miseo said.

"But it's still different, so I thought hey! There is a person that can relate to the stares that I've been getting from people from ruining the theme party." He laughed.

Those stares might not be because of your suit my man, just a heads up. Miseo thought.

"I'm Nathan by the way." The man then introduced.

"Bong Miseo." She introduced in return.

Nathan and Miseo continued to converse. She's surprised upon knowing the connection of Nathan with the couple. He just smiled amused of how she's taken by surprise of the news and hurriedly shared the information with her friends.

I guess they're all related to Ravi? Nathan assumed. His eyes were still on Miseo as he sat beside her. His excitement on both the desserts and the buffet is now completely forgotten after talking to Miseo. Unknowingly, he grew an interest over the lady.

Miseo caught Nathan's eyes upon seeing her up close. She's hella pretty, even her name is. He thought, staring at her.

"Yeah, I was just talking to their neighbor." Miseo said before suddenly resting her back on the seat to let Taemin and Jongin see Nathan.

The guy looked shocked upon being the center of attention. Making his ears red from embarrassment, hoping that they didn't notice him staring at her beauty.

There was a dead pause before Miseo cleared .

"This is Taemin and Jongin. We're Ravi's best friends and I find it absolutely absurd and unacceptable that he didn't tell us about any of this at all. I mean, we didn't even have a single clue. Is that fair for us? As his best friends? I don't think so."

Nathan retained his composure then explained his relation with the couple and how they got to get closer in a summarized story. As they continued to talk, the bride and the groom approached their table. Nathan witnessed how close Ravi is with the three as he tried to explain his situation to them. 

Ravi replied. "I was meaning to tell you guys once we have everything settled. We started moving in together two months ago, but we kept living with our parents just up until last week."

The three friends were still very suspicious of Ravi. They looked at each other and sent messages through their eyes that would most proba
