Hyena's POV

I stood outside the Audition Room in Woollim Entertainment. I noticed that there were a lot of people who came for the audition. Some were even rehearsing in the hallway and I must admit that they are all really good. Seeing them working rigorously is making me super nervous. 

I don't have anyone with me right now because as you all know that no one should know that I am related to Uncle Jungyeop. I don't want to practice anymore because I know my routine well because me and Myungsoo choreographed it, so what I did is I just sat in a corner.

I couldn't help but feel bad with what I am seeing around me. Most of the people who came for the audition are accompanied by their friends or their parents. While me, I am just here all alone. I understand that INFINITE couldn't accompany me here, but I couldn't help but feel really sad right now. I am starting to doubt myself and I don't know if I should continue this or not.

I need to breathe.

I checked my watch and I noticed that it was just 12:00 NN. I still have an hour to go before the audition start. I really feel bad right now and I could feel that any minute now, tears will fall from my eyes. I don't want other people to see it, so I decided to go to the rooftop.

I tried to run as fast as I could. I think I even bumped into someone, but I didn't bother to look up. I didn't mind the people around me. When I finally reached the rooftop, I was relieved because no one was there. I walked my way to the railings and stared at the sky.

"Omma. Appa. I finally found Uncle Jungyeop." I said. "I am right now here in Woollim Entertainment. Did you know that he is the CEO of this company?" 

Tears started to form in my eyes. I feel really sad right now, and what's worst is that no one was here to comfort me. I took out my phone because I really wanted to call Woohyun Oppa now, but I don't want to bother him. I know that he is quite busy right now. "Appa, I don't know if I should feel happy that I found him. Well to be honest, part of me is happy because I have someone who I can call a family, but part of me is still sad because you guys are not here with me. I am really sorry, if I feel this way. I know you don't want to see me sad, but I can't help it." 

"Mom. Dad. I really miss you. Jeongmal bogoshipo. I don't know what will do without you both in my life. Two weeks ago, I tried committing suicide. I am sorry if I did that. I didn't know what came to my mind, but I really wanted to be with you. I wanted to see you." I said as tears fall from my eyes. 

I don't know what got into me, but sadness filled my soul and it suddenly consumed me. It seems like I was in a trance. I decided to get up the railings and walked at the edge of the platform. Again, crazy things formed inside my mind again. It seems like someone was telling me to end my suffering, so I decided to jump. I was about to jump, when I heard someone shouted. 

Everything happened so fast. The next thing I knew is that I was already on the ground and someone was holding me close. I tried to get up to see who was it, but darkness enveloped me.

Woohyun's POV  

Sungkyu hyung and I arrived at Woollim at around 11:00 in the morning. We had a lot of things to do before the audition. We need to look at everyone's profile and judge all of them accordingly. Actually, I am very happy today because I was really looking forward to see Hyena's performance. It took us an hour to finish the briefing with Jungyeop hyung. I looked at my watch and I noticed that it was just 12:00 NN. I still have an hour to spare before everything starts, so I decided to take a break. 

"Hyung!" I called Sungkyu hyung. 

"Neh, Woohyun-nah!" he said.

"I'll just grab something from NIT Cafe. I am quite hungry already. Do you want me to buy something for you?" I asked him. 

"Just bring some Iced Americano for me, please. I still feel a bit sleepy." he said.

Aigoo. He's still sleepy?! He was the last person who woke up a while ago. He is really a grandpa. 

"Okay, hyung!" I smiled at him as I walked out of the Audition Room. I immediately rushed out of the room. As I head towards the elevator, someone bumped into me. I looked up who it was and that was when I saw Hyena running. 

"Hyena!" I called her.

Oops, it seems like she didn't hear me. She seems to be quite preoccupied. I wonder where she is going.

I don't know why, but I felt that something is wrong. Call it instinct, but I felt that something bad is going to happen when I saw her, so I decided to follow her. I saw that she was going to the rooftop. I quietly sneaked up on her. I don't know why I did that, but I really feel a bit uneasy. I looked at her and saw her at the edge of the railing. 

"Omma. Appa. I finally found Uncle Jungyeop." I heard her say. I could hear pain in her voice. I think she misses her family. She must feel bad right now. I guess people in the Audition Room made her feel sad and alone. The people who were there are with their family and friends, while her? She's there all alone. It breaks my heart to see her crying.

I don't want to eavesdrop because I feel that it's an intimate conversation between her and her parents. I feel a bit guilty with what I am doing, so I decided to leave her alone.

I was about to go out the door when I heard a faint noise telling me to look at her again. I followed what it said and I was a bit shocked when I saw her making her way towards the edge of the platform. I knew right there what my instinct was telling me. It was telling me not to leave her by herself.

"Hyena!" I shouted at her, but it seems like she couldn't hear me. It's like she was on a trance. I hurriedly ran towards her to stop her from what she was about to do. I immediately grabbed her waist and hugged her really tight. 

As I pulled her out of the platform, we fell on the ground. I noticed that she already lost consciousness, so I immediately carried her in my arms, in bridal style, and decided to bring her to the infirmary.

"Nurse Lee!" I called the company nurse. 

"What happened to her?" she asked.

I don't want other people to know that she tried to commit suicide because as you know, news travels fast. It might reach Jungyeop hyung and I know that he will be very sad about it. I decided to lie a bit. 

"I think she fainted. I found her near the rooftop. Is she going to be okay?" I told her.

Nurse Lee checked her pulse and her vital signs. I looked at her and I saw her smiling. "Her vitals are okay. I guess she was just a bit tired that's why she fainted. Let her rest for a while."

"Thanks, Nurse Lee." I bowed at her.

"You're welcome, Woohyun-shi. I'll go now for I need to prepare some things. Someone might got injured because of today's audition." she said as she get out of the room.

I looked at Hyena and I suddenly felt really bad. I don't know why, but I really want to protect her. I know she feels really sad and I want to be there to help her whatever she's going through. I want to be her knight in shining armor. 

I'll do everything to keep you safe, Hyena! You can count on Oppa! I will never leave your side.

I sat beside her and then I felt my phone vibrating. I looked at it and I noticed that Sungkyu hyung was calling. I went out of the room to answer the call.

"Hyung!" I said.

"Where are you? The audition is going to start in 20 minutes." he said.

I don't know what to do. I don't want to leave Hyena here all alone. "Hyung, something happened, I'll tell you about it later. I will try to be there in 15 minutes." I told him as I looked at my watch. It's still 12:40 PM, so I still have 20 more minutes to spare. 

"Arrasso. Just make sure that you'll be here before the audition starts. okay?" he said.

"Neh, hyung!" I said as I put down my phone.  

I know that I should not tell this to Sungkyu hyung, but I think he has the right to know what what happened just now. I went back inside when I noticed that Hyena was already sitting on the bed. 

"Hyena! Thank God you're awake now." I said as I went beside her.

"Woohyun Oppa?!" she said.

I looked at her and sat beside the bed. "I guess you are a bit confused what you are doing here in the infirmary." I told her while holding her hands.

She bit her lips and nodded. I know that she has an idea with what I was about to say.

"Hyena, whatever you are going through right now, please tell me about them. Remember that I am always here for you. A while ago, I just saw you at the rooftop and you were about to jump off again. Luckily, I was there to save you." I continued as I put my hands on her shoulders as I noticed that it was trembling. "What if I was not around? What if I was a bit too late. What if I wasn't able to save you? What if. . ."

She was already crying and without thinking about it, I decided to hug her. "Shhh! I am not angry at you. I am angry at the situation you are in. I am also just frustrated because I can't do anything about it. Hyena, please. I am begging you to tell me all your worries. I am just here to listen to all of them. Remember what I told you in the hospital? Call me anytime you want someone to talk to?! I mean it, Hyena. I mean every word that I told you." 

"Oppa! I am really sorry. I got really depressed a while ago and I didn't know what got into me. I just want to end everything." she said while sobbing.

I took her out of my arms and looked at her eyes. I wiped her tears using my hands. "Hyena. Don't feel that you are all alone because I am always here for you. Jungyeop hyung as well as Sungkyu hyung, Dongwoo, Hoya, Myungsoo, Sungyeol and Sungjong are always here. They will feel very sad if you do that again."

"Oppa, jebal! Please don't tell them what happened today." she said.

"Arrasso! Don't worry! I won't tell the others about this, if that's what you really want. But I am very sorry Hyena I have to tell Sungkyu hyung about what happened. We can't keep these kinds of things from him." I said.

"It's okay, Oppa! I understand. I am sorry again. I will try my best not to do it again." she said as she held my hands.

"Gwenchana, Hyena! Again, please don't think that I am upset with you. I am just really worried. Always keep in mind that I am just always here in case you need someone, arrasso?! You can treat me like your diary. You can talk to me at anytime of the day. I will drop everything that I am doing, whenever you need to talk to me." I said. 

I became a bit too emotional with what happened. 

"Neh! I will always keep that in mind, Oppa!" she smiled at me. 

I am serious with what I said. I will drop everything that I am doing just for her. As I said. I will protect her. I will help her get over her depression. I will do everything, just to keep her safe.

I helped her get off the bed when I felt my phone vibrating again. 

Oops! I think that's Sungkyu hyung. I'm dead!

I took out my phone and answered it without looking at the screen. "Hyung!"

"Woohyun, where are you?" he shouted. I took my phone far away from my ears. I looked at Hyena and she was laughing. 

At least, I made her smile now.

"Woohyun, who is that? Are you with someone? Where are you? Are you hiding something from me?" he said calmly this time. I guess he realized that I was with someone.

I was about to say something when Hyena took my phone from my hands and put it on speakerphone. "Sungkyu Oppa!" she said.

"Hyena?! Is that you? Wait! Why are you with Woohyun?" he asked.

"Oppa, Mianhe. I am very sorry. Woohyun just helped me out with something." she said as she put my phone on loydspeaker.

"Hyung, I will tell you about it later. We are on our way to the Audition Room now. We'll see you in a bit." I told him.

"Arrasso! Palli, Woohyun-nah! The audition will start soon." he said. "And Hyena?! Whatever you're going through right now, remember that me and the rest of  INFINITE will always be there for you."

I looked at her and I noticed that she was a bit shocked with what Sungkyu hyung said.

"Also, good luck later! I know that you do not really need it, but I am looking forward with what you will do later. Fighting!" he added as he end the call.

"I guess we really need to go. Are you sure you're okay now? Will you be able to perform later?" I asked her as I helped her get down the bed.

"Neh, Oppa!" she said. "Thank you for saving me once again. Thank you for being my knight in shining armor." she said as she kissed my cheeks. After that, she ran out of the room.

I touched my cheeks. 

Was that real? Did Hyena just kiss me? 

I am really happy and I looked at my watched and I noticed that I didn't have enough time. We really have to hurry up.

"Yah! Hyena, wait for me." I called her as I ran after her.

Hyena's POV  

I can't believe that I kissed Woohyun Oppa in the cheeks. I am right now running away from him because I am so embarrassed. I looked at my back and I could see him running towards me.

"Yah! Hyena!" he called. "Wait for me!"

"Yah!" I said. "You are too slow. Palli, Oppa! Sungkyu Oppa will be very angry at you." I told him as I slow down and wait for him. 

"You're so fast!" he said. He looked at his watch.
