Two days passed, and Seo never heard from JaeJoong. She was angry for Jae for not letting her explain first, but she was more angry to herself for even not taking serious of his feelings. Deep inside, she still cares more of Yong, and for her, Jae was nothing but a phase she needs to get through to fully get out of her depression. But now, she saw how mean she was for belittling Jae's feelings. Every time she tries to call him, her finger magically become frozen in midair, feeling scared for doing so. 

For the past days, she has been spacing out a lot, and couldn't even stop thinkng about Jae. She couldn't stop but feel regretful for not chasing him, and begging him to hear her out. 

"SeoHyun-ah!" Minho called out to her, as he playfully sprayed her with water. He called out her name again, when she didn't answer. 

"Mmmh?" She looked up to him, looking blank. She wasn't even aware of the guy had just done recently. 

"Is anything wrong?" He asked, looking worried for the woman. He was scared why Seo wasn't even reacting with his playful antics. "You've been in the same table for 10 minute already." He explained to her. 

Seo looked down, and she was surprised to see that she has been cleaning the same table over and over. She didn't answer MinHo, since she doesn't want to worry him. Instead she moved to another table. She was getting fine, and pretending not to see MinHo who was closely hovering around. Her last nerve bursted when he was getting in her way too much than normal. 

"Yah! I'm fine MinHo," she said annoyingly. "Stop following me around," she stamped around and walked outside the foyer. Her anger lost, and replaced with the time that Jae asked her to be his girlfriend. She unconciously stared at the same table where he sitted that day. 

"SeoHyun?" MinHo waved his hand in front of her. She glared back at him, as she was woken out of trance. 

"Yah! How can I not be worried when you keep blanking out like that?" 

Seo heaved a sigh, her back still facing MinHo. "I know. I'm sorry. I just want to be alone MinHo." She explained, half-begging for him to just let her be. "Just go MinHo. I'm not in the mood." 

MinHo slouched his shoulders, as he decided to leave Seo. No matter how much he wants to help her, he knows he couldn't, for he knows only one person can make her feel okay, and unfortunately, that person doesn't exist anymore. MinHo knows he could never replace Yong, and right now, only time could heal her.

Ealier that day Seo asked Manager Choi for their boss' company's number. She kept telling herself that she just wants to check up on him, but she knows that she was just lying, and wants more. Rather than being rejected on phone, she's rather have the secretary as a buffer. As soon as she went out in the streets, she immediately called the number. 

"Hello, KM Group Company, how may I help you?" A friendly female voice greeted her from the other line. 

"Um.. Can you connect me to Director Kim Ja-JaeJoong?" She asked, her voice stuttering as she said his name. Of course she felt nervous, she was scared that as soon as he'll hear her voice he'd hang up on him. 

"Excuse me, but who is this?" 

"Eh? Umm.. SeoHyun," she said, wondering why she used her nickname and not her real name. 

"Ahhh, Seo," the female said, feeling like she already know the person. "I'm sorry but director went home this morning. He caught the flu." 

"Bwo?" She asked surprised. Of course Jae was still a human being, but hearing a chaebol suffering from a simple flu is surprising to her. 

"Ne, do you have a pen and paper?" 

Seo rummaged her bag. She wondered why she asked that, but still she looked inside her bag, and took out her planner and her pen. "Ne, I have." 

"Okay right this down." The secretary told her the full address of JaeJoong, she even told her the code if ever Jae wouldn't stand up to answer the door. 

"Take care of him ne?" The female said to Seo finally after hanging up. "You owe me this director," Tiffany said to herself as she was cleaning her table ready to leave.

So there she was, standing in front of a brown door. She couldn't explain why she followed what the secretary told her and now she was inside of one of the most exclusive addresses in the city. She knocked, hoping that he was in a good mood to answer the door. She knocked again after 10 minutes, and when no one came, she just pressed the code that the secretary gave her earlier. 

She was surprised to see the cavernous and extravagant feeling that the place was vibing. The house was a piece of art itself. It was mostly decorated in whites, blacks and greys. But she snapped out of it, and walked around the house, doing the very reason why she was there in the first place. 

Seo couldn't help but feel that the house was a big puzzling maze. She kept being lost into bathrooms, and vacant rooms, that she was already feeling frustrated when finally saw a slightly opened door. She peeked inside and saw a lumped on bed. She was positive that it was JaeJoong, so she cautiously went in. As she was getting closer, she heard a small purring sound. She searched the room and couldn't find the thing. She started to walk again, but instead a soft furball, stopped her in her tracks. She looked down and a gray cat was staring back at her. She crouched and brushed her finger on the cat's chin. 

"Hello~" She greeted him. "I'm sorry I disturbed you." 

The cat looked at her lazily and meowed. 

Seo giggled, "I'm sorry, but I need to tend to your master first ne?" She was already at the edge of the bed, when she saw JaeJoong who was sleeping quite peacefully. 

She couldn't help but feel sorry for the guy. She knows how heirs like him stress out themselves because of work. She'd seen it with Yong a lot of times, but in her opinion, it seemed like Jae's body was a little weaker compared to Yong. She leaned it closer. "I think I'm not the only one who needs rest," she said suddenly thinking of the note he left behind before. She placed the back of her hand on his forehead. "OMO! You're burning," she said. She stood up, about to search for a basin and towel, but instead, Jae's hands were locked on her wrist. 

"Seo," he groaned, and Seo froze. She glanced back, and she was glad to see that his eyes were still close. She tried to take his hand off, but it only tightened. Jae pulled her on bed, and locked his strong arms around her waist. No matter how much Seo pulled them off, he was just too strong. 

"Seo," he whispered again. "I'm sorry." 

Those words struck home as soon as Seo heard them. She looked to his face, and she saw the slight changed in his expression. His peace leaving his face. 

"I forgive you," she said, as she was down his face. She kissed the top of his head, and laid there as the afternoon ends.
