Like what she usually does at an ordinary Saturday morning, she was cleaning her apartment. She was halfway done with her kitchen, when she heard her phone rang. Thinking that it may be one of her friends, she paid no account in answering, so she just continued cleaning. After a while, she heard her phone ring again. She rushed upstairs, thinking that the caller might tell her something important. She hurriedly answered when she saw JaeJoong's name on the screen. 

"Yoboseyo," she greeted happily. 

"Yoebo! Are you free later?" 

"Ne," she answered. "Waeyo?" 

"I have a free time, until 3 jagi, want to lunch?" 

It had been a long time since they went out, and the last dinner they had, had been cut shortly because he needed to go back to the office to finish his work. 

"Sure Jae," she said excitedly. 

"Okay, pick you up at 1 then?" 

"Sure," she said, before hanging up. 

She looked at the time, and it was still 11:30. She felt relieved since she can still have a long bath before getting herself ready. So she wasted no time to rush downstairs to finish cleaning before jumping inside her bathroom. 

Almost an hour past, and Seo came out feeling fresh and relaxed. She went in front of her mirror, to dry her hair and body. Already knowing what to wear, she went to her drawers, but her hand stopped. Her eyes darted to her other cabinet. Her lips pursed and feeling hesitant, she motioned to the left. She crossed her arms, thinking if whether she'd do it or not. 

"Might as well give it a try," she mumbled to herself and opened the door. 

The hour hand was exactly at the 1 when Seo heard a knock on her door. "You have to be in time now," she grunted to herself, as she was trying to finish her braid. "I'm coming," she called out to him. 

She secured her hair with a black band, and powdered her face lightly. She examined her reflection at the mirror before grabbing her purse and walking downstairs. She opened the door, and was greeted by JaeJoong's dumbfounded expression. 

She frowned, "Is there something wrong?" She said, consciously looking down at her clothes. 

Jae quickly composed himself, and held on of Seo's hand. "No jagi," he smiled, as he lightly peck her cheeks. "You look lovely SeoHyun, it's just-"

"Shocking?" She said finishing his sentence as he held her, walking to his car. Well it was a shock for him of course, since ever since they knew each other, the only time she actually dressed up was during haraboji's birthday, and last week. But unknown to Jae, Seo also had a time when she actually wore dresses and skirts. But when YongHwa died, Seo just didn't see the point of dressing up, when the one person you want to show the most is already gone. 

Today Seo got herself out from her usual look. Instead, she work a flare, high-waisted beige skirt, that had buttons on the side. She paired it with a loose, heart-pinted mahogany top. She finished her look with an open-toed cream shoes, braided hair and fresh make-up. 

"Yes, but you looked lovely as always," praising her as he drove them to the restaurant. 

She puffed her cheeks. "I'm glad that paid off," she chortled. 

He looked at her, "Wait, you did this for me?" 

Seo nodded. 

JaeJoong grinned, he couldn't help but feel touched about what she did. When he was going out with Jessica, he thought it was normal for them to dress up and such, but to hear SeoHyun, actually making an effort, just for him, makes him feel giddy inside. 

"Now I kinda, want to dressed you up in jeans again," he pouted. 

"Waeyo?" 

"'Cause I don't want guys to look at you," he frowned. "SeoHyun is JaeJoong's property after all," he said, mimicking a kid's voice. 

"Aigoo," she pursed her lips. The feeling of butterflies in her stomach appeared, as soon as Jae called her his property. 

They finally stopped in front of a classy Korean restaurant. As soon as Jae went out of his car, he went to Seo's side, and offered his hand. "Miss." 

Seo took his hand, "Thank you," she smiled and Jae led her inside. They were sitted at the middle, and was waiting for someone to come take there orders. 

After a while, their waitress came. "May I please take your order?" Said a gently familiar voice, making Seo looked up. 

"Unnie?!" She said, sharing the same shocked expression as her YoonA-unnie.

Seo and Jae finished had themselves fed first before talking to YoonA. Though Jae tried to let Seo focus on their conversations, he couldn't help but see how bothered she looked as she kept stealing glances at her friend. So even before 3, JaeJoong already decided to leave. 

"I'm sorry," Seo grimaced. "It's my fault, I've been out of focus, and I just wasted out date." 

"It's okay," he said warmly, giving her a reassuring smile. "I know you've been wanting to talk to her ever since, and we'll have lots of chances, don't worry." 

He stood up and kissed a still lonely Seo. "It's okay, just call me if something comes up, 'kay?" 

Seo nodded, and with that Jae turned and left the place. As soon as JaeJoong was gone, she wasted no time to call for YoonA. She was itching to ask her friend for the reason why she was here, that she even didn't even give her time to sit before she fired her question. 

"I'm sorry SeoHyun, but I'm not supposed to tell you this," she said, her voice a little shaky. 

Seo pouted, "But unnie, I need to know. Why are you here?" 

"It's the orphanage." 

"Why? What happened unnie?" 

"Their taking it away," she said sadly, before breaking into tears. And Seo couldn't do anything, but fell shell-shocked as she calm herself down. Of course, she felt like crying too, thinking that the only home she has will be gone.

On the weekend, Seo wasted no time into looking for another job. She already told YoonA to move in with her. She haven't told JaeJoong about her situation yet, firstly because she doesn't want to burden him with her problems, another is, he'd offer to pay all the debts of the orphanage and lastly he might give her a job with an unusual large amount of wage. 

So she kept hushed about it, and instead asked her co-workers for any job. Of course most of them didn't have any, since the requirements Seo had was impossible, and since the only, the job must only entails me to go to work at the weekends. 

They were all outside the foyer, thinking of places that might be possible until TaeMin said something.

"I know someone," he smiled. "Jonghyun-hyung. He's a photographer, and last week, he was asking me if I knew someone who's willing to be his assistant. The pay is okay, and I'm sure your background with photography will be used unnie." 

Seo didn't even have time to stop herself as she rushed over to hug him. "Thank you! Thank you," She yelled feeling happy. Taemin immediately gave me his phone number, and Taemin informed the guy that Seo will be coming over to his office later that day. 

When work was done, Seo immediately went home, to prep herself up before going. Of course, she also wanted to look presentable, to at least highten the possibility of her being accepted. She still wore her skinny jeans, but instead of wearing a shirt, she had a floral top on covered with a green cardigan. She neatly fixed her hair into a ponytail and quickly wore her flats. She rushed downstairs and walked to the bus stop. She silent prayed that Kim JongHyun will answer her problems.

JongHyun office was in Gangnam and it was one of the usual beige color commercial type buildings. Taemin already texted her where the office was, so she just rode the elevator with confidence. His office was at the 44th floor, so Seo practiced a few of he answer if ever JongHyun would asked him some. When the elevator opened, she took in a deep breath and walked to her left. She knocked. 

"Come in," said a slightly deep husky voice. 

She opened the door, and at the desk, sat a brunette man, with the cutest puppy dog eyes. He was smiling, and introduced himself. I also told him my name, and about the Taemin. 

"So you're the one that Minnie told me about," he said. 

Seo nodded. 

"Okay, so I'm going to ask a few questions, just so I know who I'm working with." 

"Okay." 

The interview was very casual, and the atmosphere was light. Overall, Jonghyun was very fun to talk to. Seo told him about her name again, and her current job. She also told him how she entered and won some of photo contests before, and how she majored in photography. 

"I think you fit the job then," he beamed at her. Then there was a knock on the door. "That must be the boss for your first job," he said as he went and open the door. 

Seo couldn't even describe how she felt when out came a familiar blonde. Her bottled feelings were again let loosed as soon as the blondes piercing glare were going through her skull. 

"Miss Jessica Jung, meet my new assistant SeoHyun," Jonghyun said, unaware of the tension between them.
