The Setup 

The sun was starting to set as the bright sky pummeled into darkness. Sowon and Yuju met up with Sana and Dahyun at the meeting point, where Sana will go through the final breifing before they start their mission. 

“Ok so you know the plan. We go in, stay hidden find a way to open the gates and Sana will teleport all of us out immediately after doing so. Most importantly no casualties today. Once we get caught the whole plan goes to waste. Clear.” Sana spoke sternly 

“Got it!” The three of them replied 

“Okay then Sana, take us to the starting point.” Dahyun said as she moved to Sana’s side.

Sana held onto both Dahyun and Sowon’s hand while Yuju placed her palm onto her shoulder. 

“Hold on tight...” Sana said as she focused her energy and took a quick step foward. A sudden blue flash appears and the next thing they knew, they were already right outside the castle walls.

“That’s very convenient isn’t it?” Sowon said.

“I..I dont feel so goo-“ Yuju turned around and immediately threw up onto the ground.

“Sorry that happens for first timers.” Sana said while Yuju slowly got up and calmed herself down.

“Alright everyone hoods up.” Sana commanded and at which everyone slipped on their hoods to make themselves less visible.

The girls slowly climbed up the rocky castle walls as silently as they could till they eventually reached the top. Sowon reached first and gave the ‘all-clear’ signal and the others joined her. From where they were they could see all four walls which links all the four battlements together.

“Let’s move up a bit. The switch has to be somewhere near the gates, maybe in one of those battlements.” Sowon whispered to the others as they silently moved.

They were not far from the entrance but getting into one of the towers was not an easy task. Yuju slowly took a peek below and saw many guards patrolling around the castle with torches and armed with their blades. 

“twelve o’clock quickly!” Sana whispered shouted as she spotted a guard walking towards them. 

“Move!” Sowon called out silently before making a turn and running into a nearby battlement. 

“This is not going to be easy, the walls  have hardly any good covers and if we were to drop down to the courtyard we would get easily spotted.” Yuju said.

“He’s getting warmer., we need a diversion now.” Sowon spoke as she heard the sound of footsteps becoming more obvious.

“I got an idea...” Dahyun said before she used her powers and disappeared. She ran behind the guard and kicked one of barrels behind him.

“Who goes there!” The man shouted as he turned around in shock. But all he saw was a rolling barrel but no one was there. The guard slowly moved closer to the fallen barrel and inspected the area.

Sowon was looking around to find for a area with lesser guards on patrol. She saw that one of the windows to one of the castle rooms were open.

“That should keep him entertained for the time being.” Dahyun said as she reappeared behind the girls. “What now?”

“There, one of the rooms, the window is open and it looks empty.” Sowon pointed out. “All the walls and the exterior are heavily guarded we have to assume that the insides have a relatively low security.”

“She has a point our chances of getting caught are more higher up here. We have to go from the inside. Sana you think you can get us in?” Dahyun asked. 

“Way ahead of you.” Sana grabbed onto the girl’s hands as she did the same move again. In a blink of an eye the four of them were inside an empty maid quaters.

“What now?” Sana spoke. At that door knob of the quarters started to shake and the door swung open slowly. The girls froze as one of the maids enter the room only to have the shock of her life. Sowon already had her hand on her loaded crossbow but Yuju stepped in front of them.

“Hey nice to meet you! We are the new maids that recently arrived.” Yuju said while her glowing purple hand swayed side to side in front of her victims face. Yuju’s magic seemed to have worked as the lady looked as if she fell into a trance.

“Yes! Of course how can i forget, hurry now get into your uniforms and get to your stations. I must be getting old please pardon my mistakes.” The maid said as she did a bow and slowly left the room.

The three other girls stared at Yuju with their mouths ajar. Sowon gave a thumbs up while Dahyun just gave a faint chuckle.

“Well you heard the lady let’s get to work.” Yuju said as she walked towards the wardrobe filled with the outfits the ma
