The Escape Part 2

The girls were thrown into another cell this time with a higher security. “Well we’re back in a cell again and we’re gonna die too! Just great!” Yuju said as she sat down in a corner and started to mess with her hair in pure frustration. Thinking of ways to escape once more, Yerin paced up and down the cell. “We need to think of a way to get out.” She repeated to herself.

“I mean there is a total of twenty armed guards with armour guarding five girls with nothing to use to defend themselves. What do you suggest we do now?” Sowon said. “Is this the end for us?” Sowon walked to the window at the back of the cell and looked out into the sky. “Eunha i’m so sorry i have failed you. I wanted to help you get your powers back and to see you happy again. But i have failed you.” Sowon thought to herself as tears dripped down her face.

The cell they were in was made out of titanium used to lock up only the finest and baddest criminals. They had a full titanium door instead of bars and only a small opening to be used as a window. The mood became more solemn as the girls started to lose hope in escaping. “By tonight we end up being nothing but memories. It has been an honour to have been given the opportunity to fight by your side.” Umji said.

“I’m sorry for dragging you into this mess Doyeon. Even though we practically just met this morning and we already caused you your life. Damn we are terrible people.” Yuju said as she went over and sat next to Doyeon. “We will not be memories, we will survive this.” Sowon turned around and faced them.

“We were chosen for a reason, i dont know about you guys but i love being alive and well. We may be getting executed but remember we are not just odinary people. We are talented individuals and we should not give up.” 

“Sowon. We are trapped here and we have nothing to use to protect ourselves. Sure you and Yuju have powers but that is still not enough to take down what King Dev has collected throughout the land.” Doyeon made a point. They were like lambs waiting to be slaughtered for the banquet, helpless.

A few moments later a knock on the titanium door could be hurt. “The final meal for the prisoners.” A female’s voice was heard. “Just leave us alone will you. No one is having a last meal except for your crap king.” Sowon said as she banged the door furiously. “I insist.” The person from the other side spoke before sliding a lunchbox through the small opening under the door. 

Umji picked up the box and noticed a note taped underneath it. She took it out and read its contents.

“Be prepared for this sun down shall not be your last. I hope you are as useful as i think you may be.” Umji read it out loud as everyone looked confused after hearing the message. “Who sent that?” Yuju took the note and examined it carefully. “R. It was from someone named R.” “Whatever it is, if it can break us free from the clutches of these guys i’m so in.” Yerin walked over and took the note for herself.

“I guess all we can do now is wait for whatever is going to happen.” Doyeon said while the others sat back down and prepared themselves. The sun was starting to make its descend as the girls waited patiently for their time to come. Heavy footsteps and the sound of metal could be heard coming towards them as the girls stood up and watched the door slide open.
