Troubles
Every Day With Day6Morning comes. One by one, they attend the table for breakfast. Jae, sleepy-eyed, yawns. Brian who happens to sit next to him pokes his rib for fun, causing Jae to squirm involuntarily.
"Anyway," says Wonpil solemnly, while breakfast is consumed midway. "Shall we speak of yesterday's happening?"
"I'd prefer it after breakfast, but we have a schedule to keep," considers Sungjin. "So we'll have to. Dowoon, since you're done, could you do the explaining?"
Dowoon blinks, ready to comply. While washing his plate, he elaborates on what happened during the night. The sleepwalking episode and the unfortunate toppling of the fort. Miso's involvement in waking the others up.
"They say that sleepwalking can be caused by stress, anxiety or sleep deprivation," adds the leader. "Is something bothering you, Jae?"
Without meaning to, all eyes glance in the boy's direction. The oldest is stunned, but he breaks into a sheepish smile.
"I'll probably get clobbered for this, but I know you guys will want to find out somehow," he admits. "I've been approached to join an international badminton competition. It clashes with some of the events we want to hold in the future, but it's a good opportunity too. So I haven't been able to decide..."
The responses vary, but they are positive in nature. Some congratulate while some propose that they could adjust and negotiate a plan somehow with the big boss.
"Dummy Jae Jae for being all worried," says Wonpil with a friendly punch on the shoulder. "You should definitely go for it."
