b. Keep watch
Every Day With Day6Miso thinks for a while. He figures it would be wise to keep watch somehow for tonight. It is a secured area, yet he feels the need to stand guard. Perhaps one could consider it to be a dog’s instinct. Glancing at the fort and finding it suitably friendly, he curls in it and waits.
What is Miso waiting for? He is unsure, yet it is certain that something may go amiss tonight. Shortly after, Jae tumbles out of his room. Excited at his appearance, the sesame Shiba Inu gives him a welcoming bark, though slightly hushed.
As the boy does not reply, Miso finds him rude. He growls unhappily, but the boy pays no heed. In fact, he topples the fort. Now, that definitely made the dog angry. This time, Miso tackles the boy.
Yet Jae only gives a strange laugh and picks the dog up in his arms loosely. Miso yelps. As the attempt to get out does not work, he barks loudly to wake the others up. They begin pouring out of their rooms.
“Oy, Miso,” groans Brian. “Where you at?”
“Miso, is everything okay?” asks Dowoon sleepily, rubbing his eyes.
“Jae, are you hurting our dog?” says Sungjin with a squint, noticing Miso in the oldest one’s arms.
Wonpil walks up to the boy, waving his hand in front of Jae.
“Wow, he’s asleep,” remarks the pianist as he carefully retrieves Miso, who gives him an appreciative cuddle. “We better return him back to bed.”
Brian and Sungjin will do so, leaving the question of Jae’s sleepwalking episode to be dealt with in the morning.
