b. Stay a little longer
Every Day With Day6Miso snuggles his way into Jae’s lap, causing the boy’s face to beam. It would appear as though the dog had chosen the right thing to do. He pats the sesame Shiba Inu’s head absent-mindedly.
“If I fall asleep here by accident somehow, make sure you wake me – a shooting star, look quick!” murmurs Jae when his voice raises abruptly at the sight of the spectacular.
He stands on his feet while cradling Miso, pacing back and forth excitedly.
“They always say to wish upon a shooting star,” explains the boy cheerfully.
To this, Miso barks in astonishment, staring at Jae. It sounds strange to him. How could a piece of moving light produce such miracles? Yet the grin on the boy’s face withers in due time.
“Miso, I’m a dummy,” he groans. “It was an aeroplane…”
The dog merely his sad expression away. The boy could not help but to give the dog a tight squeeze.
“It’s time we got back,” he says softly. “Miso, I’m glad that leader Sungjin found you.”
