Yeong snarls before scratching the door repeatedly. Quick, unhappy injuries that lead to the groaning of the door. As the others are busy with their breakfast, it would seem that no one heard the dog’s mischievous act. The paint is chipping, the wood is showing, and it would appear that there is no saving when one does hear the dog’s angry act.

He returns to bed, setting Yeong above the covers. Dowoon closes his eyes and breathes deeply. The sesame Shiba Inu leans on him.

“There might be something wrong with me, but I can’t explain it,” he says softly, mostly to himself. “I feel like I’m melting into empty spaces and always trying to stay hidden. Even I felt angry at you for intruding into my space. I can still feel it.”

Yeong rubs against the boy’s cheek and he gives a tired smile.

“Maybe if I just close my eyes for a little longer, my feelings will change with you by my side.”
