Every Day With Day6“Aih, Brian, how do you keep winning?” exclaims the leader. “Go easy on me.”
“Unfortunately I like to revel in victory,” says Brian smugly, fiddling with the video game controller. “How about you try harder?”
“Oy, immature kids, keep the volume down,” snickers Jae, walking into the living room.
“Immature?” says Sungjin in mock horror. “Come on, pick a game and win against me. Then I’ll accept that comment.”
Jae smiles coldly, taking the video game controller from Brian. He picks a shooter game, setting it as challenger mode. Thus the two boys oppose each other, with a set of non-player teammates. It’s a kill or be killed operation.
However, it is evident that Jae is the better gamer, despite his late entry. He is used to the shifting perspectives and the need for quick reflex. Jae’s character in the game kills Sungjin’s.
“Immature,” laughs the oldest wickedly before walking away. “Now, I better get that snack I was aiming for before you two distracted me.”
“Shall we take a break, Brian,” asks the leader, leaning back on the sofa. “Losing so much can get a little stressful.”
