Joon pokes at the red diagram, staring at the pianist boy for acknowledgement. As the boy made no response, the dog rubs his head against the red diagram out of mild frustration. Finally, he permits a chuckle.

“Okay, you rascal,” murmurs Wonpil, bringing the dog into his lap. “I’ll make this one. Stay where you are to keep me warm and fuzzy.”

He picks up a pink piece of paper, following the instructions elaborated. It is pointy on one edge and slightly rounded on the other two.

“Look, handsome one, it’s a heart,” declares Wonpil triumphantly, holding it in front of Joon. “Lovely, isn’t it?”

The dog blinks before it nonchalantly. Then he gives a face of disgust.

“Excuse me, don’t be rude,” says the pianist sternly. “That’s my heart you’re breaking. But I forgive you. Choose the other colours.”

So he does, by jumping out of the boy’s lap and nosing the other colours apart. The boy works determinedly, folding them into little paper hearts. Then, gathering all of them, he decides to visit the others. As the others are stuck in their rooms, he could only slide them under the doors.

“Boohoo,” says Wonpil almost sulkily. “And I wanted to go shower them with my love–“

His eyes gleam upon noticing Jae’s absence in his room. So the boy decides to wait in a corner for the said boy to return. He does, with a bottle of cold tea.

“Joon and Wonpil, hello,” greets Jae normally. “Need something?”

“I just need to show you my love,” declares Wonpil, slipping the folded heart into Jae’s shirt pocket and grabbing him into a tight hug. “Love you long time old man!”

“Okay, so how long have you been deprived of human attention…” trails off Jae in a groan after observing Wonpil’s attempt to act cute, which always causes him to cringe inwardly.
