The Shiba Inu ponders, and wonders with an impish smile if he could find something to nibble in the kitchen. After all, everyone else is supposed to be asleep. What is trouble if he can hide the evidence? Being an intelligent one, surely that could be arranged.

Nosing around the kitchen, he is disappointed. Leader Sungjin has a way of making sure everything is neat and clean, despite their happy swingy mood earlier. He frowns. Since there are no leftover scraps and the trashcan is impossible, he tries to nudge the lower drawers open. Perhaps he would have succeeded, if someone did not come waltzing in.

“Oh, you’re still awake,” says Jae with a mild smile. “I’m here for some water. The drinking got me feeling thirsty. Are you hungry?”

Joon blinks, merely watching Jae’s actions. He seems to have altered slightly from earlier. In reality, the boy has gotten a little more sober. The boy pats him, taking a sip of water when he stops abruptly.

“Is something burning…?” he asks confusedly.

The two rush to the source, which turns out to be Wonpil’s room. A small fire has started somehow with the remains of a spilled alcoholic beverage. A used matchstick is on the floor, but that detail is hardly remembered. Jae tosses his cup of water at the fire before asking Joon to wake the others up.

Fortunately, they wake and do their best to contain it. As the fire is small, they managed to put it out without setting the fire alarm off. Eventually, once everyone’s heartbeat calmed down, they sit in the room solemnly. Lights switched on, eyes that watch one another.

“So, what happened?” asks Sungjin carefully with a glance that nearly meets the pianist’s eyes.
