“Hey, bark if you find something you like,” mumbles Dowoon, hugging the sesame dog a little closer. Rows of collars and other typical pet store appliances fill the eyes.

After a few challenging talks with the big boss, it turns out that the Day6 team could keep the dog unless they prove unable to care for it. Dowoon, knowing how it is like to care for them, jumps at the idea enthusiastically.

The injury on the ear proves slight, though he would bring the dog to the vet if complications occur. Now, the five members are looking for things in the pet store. Technically Dowoon is taking charge.

The dog barks at a plain army green collar. The boy smiles.

“Okay then,” he concludes.

“What’s the name?” asks the shopkeeper. “I have customisable dog tags as well.”

Eyes wide upon realising that the dog has no name.

“Seems like a rather friendly dog to me,” observes Jae. “How about Miso? Miso for smile?”

“How about Joon, since he’s handsome like me?” suggests Wonpil with a grin.

“I’d call him Seung for victory, but I suppose it’ll be nice to let our Dowoon decide on the name?” contemplates the leader, earning an indifferent shrug from Brian.

Dowoon leans his head on the carried dog.

“How about… Yeong?” he asks aloud. “Yeong for bravery. You’re a brave pup. Or at least, I believe you will be.”

He carries the dog in such a way that the dog faces him now.

“Do you like the sound of that?” the boy questions with a small smile. “Yeong?”

The dog seems to smile before Dowoon’s cheek. The drummer boy turns to the shopkeeper as he brings the dog into a little hug.

“Yeong it is.”
