a. Does know where the other half is
Every Day With Day6Miso makes a tiny jolt, unnoticed by the others. The dog does know where the other half is. He was playing with it in the morning before any of the others were awake. However, it would not be very wise to bring it up just as they are leaving. According to Miso, anyway.
“Well, it’s not the end of the world,” interjects Brian with a pat on Jae’s shoulder. “Mix them up, you’re known for your mismatched shoes.”
“That’s for the airport and travelling around, not exactly for music video shoots,” mutters Jae with a weak glare, but he sees the sense of his suggestion.
If he is unwilling to let go of wearing those shoes, he is going to need to compromise. After a few seconds of debate, he decides to wear his checkered shoe with the dark space one. Despite the earlier mood, Jae’s mood does improve upon at their arrival for their outdoor music video shooting. It is scheduled at Yongma Land, an abandoned amusement park, but it works well for photos and videos.
“Miso, you better stay with the crew and avoid running off,” warns Sungjin. “Or else we’ll never get home.”
“Leader Sungjin, you’re going to scare him off,” says Wonpil cheerfully. “But I get your concern.”
Dowoon does a second check on Miso’s collar and leash, making sure that they are not loose. Then he passes it to one of the staff members. The rest of the day is spent setting up, playing their title track countless of times and having a few breaks in between.
“Could we have a go at the carousel?” asks Jae solemnly in the evening.
“You do know that this amusement park is abandoned, right?” replies Brian doubtfully.
“Well, yes, but still…” he mumbles.
Given a no by the staff, Jae decides to be childish by clinging on a carousel horse for ten minutes before going home. Though the members felt a little irked at first, the memory of it on the way home made them laugh. Quietly, Sungjin passes Jae a bottled drink in the van.
“I’m sure those shoes must have meant a lot,” says the leader. “We’ll search for them once we get back.”
Jae wears a wry smile, but he is certainly grateful for the gesture.
However, upon their return, Miso the offender walks guiltily to Jae with the missing shoe. The shoelace had been removed and it is covered with dog fur.
“Okay, I need to practise the art of patience and understanding,” declares Jae. “Guys, hold me back if I do anything terrible.”
