Seokjin wasn’t surprised to see Hoseok full on panic mode pacing from one side to the other of the room. He had practically predicted this scenario from the previous call. What he didn’t predict was Hoseok singing.

Yes, he was singing and apparently that was supposed to be some lullaby, it sounded more like an ugly window screech and no wonder the baby was crying without a stop, Hoseok’s singing was bad, really bad.

Without second thoughts Seokjin reached for the baby rocking him close to his chest, as expected it didn’t take long for the baby to quiet down and fall asleep in his arms.

Seokjin who had plenty of experience babysitting babies carefully shifted the baby in his arms so that he could point an accusing finger at a very relieved Hoseok.

“-You!” He said squinting his eyes at Hoseok ‘Oh he was so gonna get it’

“-Hyung I swear I did nothing” Hoseok replied whilst raising his hands in surrender

“then how do you explain this “he asked whilst obviously pointing at the baby.

“-I don’t know hyung I just came back from and suddenly bam there’s a baby on a ing basket. I seriously thought it was just food they left it in front of my door hyung I swear!”

Seokjin sighed, he had known Hoseok for almost all his life and could easily tell if he was lying or not and Hoseok wasn’t

“-Did the mother leave anything behind?” he asked thoughtfully

“- Err…Hyung how am I supposed to know that? I wasn’t even here when the damn woman brought this...this ...

“-baby” helped Seokjin

“-Yeah baby” repeated Hoseok.

“- Well shouldn’t you check the basket? Usually in the movies the mother always leaves a cue or some letter of some sort “

Hoseok rolled his eyes “-This isn’t a movie hyung” he still complied, walking towards the large maroon accessory. He was actually surprised to see a large brown envelope left on the side he must have missed it during the little boy’s scream.

“-Hyung…I found something “he said hesitantly

“-Oh good what is it?”

“I don’t know I’ll open it “
