Suyeon's Jealously, Pt 2
Take A Chance
Suyeon muttered under her breath while she organized the glassware. Everyone was either too amused or too scared to say anything. It wasn't until Myungsoo pinned up another order that he decided to do something about it.
"Uhm...Suyeon.", he put his hands on her shoulders, "I don't think it's a good idea to be around glass right now..."
He led her away and took her to where the utensils were, "This is a bad idea too."
She huffed and pulled away from him. "I'm fine!", she announced, "Perfectly okay!"
"Suyeon!" Her shoulders deflated and she forced a smile as she turned around. Jieun stood at the entrance with another girl by her side. "Jieun!", she spoke through her smile, "Oh my gosh!" Jieun smiled brightly and walked up to her.
"Yongguk didn't say you worked here.", she adjusted the strap of her purse.
Suyeon let out a laugh, "Well, yeah I kinda do..."
Again, an awkward silence settled and Siwon wasn't sure to let Suyeon have their table or not. "Ah, this is my friend Hyosung."
"Hello!", the girls nodded at one another in greeting.
"Uhm, Siwon please seat them somewhere nicely.", she spoke to her manager, giving him an uncomfortable smile.
"Uh...okay.", he coughed, "Suzy will you.", he motioned for her to take them to a table.
They smiled at each other again before Suzy led them away. When Suyeon turned around she let out a groan, "Is my shift over yet?", she pouted. Luna awed and walked back with her near the kitchen. When Suyeon passed up Jongup she took the bag of candy in his hand and kept walking.
He sighed and looked at the ceiling, "She needs it more than you do, she needs it more that you do."
Suyeon walked back and tapped his shoulder, handing him the bag. "I'm sorry.", she mumbled while chewing on some of the sweets. He chuckled and gave her the bag, "It's okay noona.", he assured, "You have them."
She smiled gratefully and thanked him before walking away.
From afar Suyeon watched Suzy take their order and smile politely.
"She's perfect isn't she? I told you guys I can't make this stuff up!" Suyeon hissed when Suzy passed by and pinned up the order. They all shook their heads.
"Oh Suyeon, you have got to calm down.", Kibum said.
"Look at her though! She's so pretty and sweet and I don't want to hate her..."
"So don't.", Myungsoo casually pulled up a stool and sat down.
"If she does have this 'ulterior motive' and is being this way to make you even more frustrated then don't let it faze you.", he explained, "It'll tick her off if she sees that you don't care that your boyfriend's ex is around."
Jooyeon and Sohee applauded him. "Hyung, you should write books.", Junhong smiled.
"Ah, yes I know.", he bowed, "I'm a genius!'
Suyeon continued to pout, "But being around her lowers my damn self-esteem."
Myungsoo sighed, "Okay, if Yongguk wasn't around then I'd try to snatch you up. Feel better?"
Suyeon looked up at him, "Really?", her lips quivered to prevent a smile from forming.
"Yes, really.", he had a tint of pink on his cheeks.
"Ew." Donghae chuckled, "Your confessions are so awkward."
Myungsoo smacked his lips, "Hey, I'm comforting her.", he defended himself, "And by doing so I'm also risking getting my kicked by Yongguk, who by the way is scary as hell." Suyeon frowned at his words, "Don't get me wrong Su, he's a nice guy but...he's tall and you can't say he isn't strong."
Suyeon looked back to see Hyosung typing away on her phone and Jieun sipping from her drink cutely and looking out the window.
"Okay...I'll try." She straightened up and walked out into the dining area.
Jongup tilted his head, "Where did she go exactly?"
Before any of them could answer she came back and sat down, "Yeah I forgot they aren't my table." They couldn't help but laugh at her. She stayed were she was, occasionally getting up to do a round of refills but that was it. Another hour had passed and she realized that she was done with her shift. "Crap.", she sighed.
Yongguk would show up any minute and Jieun was still there.
While she was in the locker room her phone buzzed and sure enough Yongguk said he was waiting outside for her. She prayed that Jieun had left when she clocked out and went the opposite direction that Yongguk had come from. Peeking her head out from the locker room she slowly walked out. Oh my gosh, I'm sneaking out of my own job. She rolled her eyes at how ridiculous she was being. Stop being such a wuss! Are you really that insecure?
She straightened her back and walked facing forward. When the dining area came into view she noticed that the table was empty. Oh crap what if she's outside? WHAT IF SHE'S TALKING TO HIM!? WHAT IF THEY'RE MAKING OUT?! Again she snapped out of it and waved to her co-workers as she made her way to exit. Get ahold of yourself, she's just another girl and it doesn't matter if they had a past...
When she exited the restaurant she saw Yongguk standing by the bench and kept her head up when she noticed Jieun in front of him, both speaking comfortably.
"Baby!", he broke off the conversation and went over to Suyeon. As selfish as it sounded, she felt good knowing that he was waiting solely for her even with someone making small talk. "Hey.", Suyeon smiled brightly at him. He pecked her lips and slipped his hand into hers.
"Awh.", Hyosung gushed as the couple walked back. Suyeon shyly stood behind him and waited while they continued their conversation. Jieun talked about how it was good that was doing well with his rap ordeal. When she mentioned a boyfriend though, Suyeon took a step closer. "Maybe we can all go out, you know have a double date?", she brought it up. Suyeon chuckled and looked at Yongguk, knowing that he wasn't comfortable with that. "We'll see...we're both pretty busy with stuff.", he pushed the topic away easily and Suyeon couldn't help but smile.
Eventually all four dove into conversation and stayed there for a good ten minutes. It was when Jongup exited the restaurant, a new bag of candy in hand. They all glanced back at him and he hid the bag of candy behind his back and bowed awkwardly.
"I'm not going to take it from you.", Suyeon assured. He smiled before bringing the candy back out. "When did you have time to go get more?", she asked.
"Myungsoo hyung went out and bought it for me after he confessed to you."
The other three raised their eyebrows at his statement. Suyeon shut her eyes and resisted snatching up the sugary treats from him. "I mean...", he noticed how Yongguk looked at Suyeon, "After he...I should go." He bowed again and took off.
"Well...", Jieun chuckled, "We should get going too." They waved before heading down to the intersection to cross the street.
The walk to Yongguk's place was silent. Suyeon would steal glances at him but he would only be looking straight ahead with no emotion. He didn't hold her hand and kept a small distance between them while they walked. Even when they made it to the apartment he didn't say anything and it was eating her alive. Suyeon watched him take off his jacket it and hang it from a hook on his closet door. She was seated on his bed with her back up against the wall and her feet barely hanging off the edge.
He sighed when he finally looked at her. "Myungsoo was just trying to make me feel better.", she spoke up before he could.
Yongguk tilted his head and furrowed his brows, "You weren't feeling good?"
She looked down shamefully, "It's not that...", she cleared .
"Then why would he have to make you feel better?", he took a step closer and sat down on the edge of the bed.
Suyeon bit her lip, "I was jealous.", she mumbled.
"What?", he couldn't make out the quiet jumble of words.
"I was jealous.", she mumbled again.
Yongguk rolled his eyes and gently reached up to lift up her chin. "Suyeon."
She lifted up her eyes and looked at him, giving a pout she finally said it audibly.
"I'm jealous." Yongguk lowered his hand and she looked away bringing up her knees.
"Jealous of what?", he asked.
Suyeon scoffed, "What? Who? Do I have to say her name? Okay, I'm jealous of Jieun..."
Yongguk couldn't help it and his lips spread into a smile. "Why are you jealous of her?"
She stared at the headboard and sighed. "Why aren't I jealous of her? She's pretty, beyond nice, she's-ugh don't make me talk about it!" He chuckled, "She's an ex girlfriend Su. I don't have feelings for her anymore."
Suyeon didn't seemed convinced and shrugged. "Yeah okay, before we actually dated we were practically best friends."
"How long did you two date for?", Suyeon asked.
"A year and a half.", he answered. It was like punching her stomach. On top of them being together that long they had also had years and years of friendship.
"But it wasn't like it was perfect.", he continued, "Most of the time people thought we were related, I guess that our friendship made us that way." Yongguk's fingers moved along her hand before fitting it into his.
"After a while we just realized how different our personalities were, it was a mutual thing."
"So now you know about that.", he finished.
Suyeon scooted forward and leaned her head on his back.
"You shouldn't have felt like that.", he said.
"I know.", she blew a raspberry, "I tried not to be that kind of girlfriend but man...it's tough."
He cleared his throat, "So...what's this about Myungsoo confessing to you?"
"Everyone knew I was jealous." she explained, "He only said that to make me feel better."
"You sure?", he raised a brow. Suyeon smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist, "I'm sure, besides Myungsoo's not my type."
He laughed before removing her hands from around him and turning around to kiss her.
"So who is your type?", Yongguk asked playfully.
"Hmm.", Suyeon beamed, "Someone like...Wonbin?"
The smile from his face fell and he tightened his arms around her waist, "Excuse me?"
Yongguk jumped up and she giggled, attempting to get away but he pinned her down and started tickling her.
"YONGGUK!", she squealed, "LET ME GO!"
He laughed and shook his head, swinging his leg over her body to keep her on the bed. "Nope!"
Suyeon squirmed under him, scooting up until her back hit the headboard. She tried to get up and switch their positions but she couldn't even breathe. Yongguk stopped tickling her and chuckled while Suyeon coughed lightly to regain her breath.
"I hate you!", she giggled and slapped at his arm.
He caught her hand and pecked her cheek, smiling brightly. She blushed and stared at his lips for a second before slipping out of his hold and cupping his face to kiss him. Yongguk responded immediately to her kiss and lowered his hands to her waist, tugging her closer to him. Suyeon laid flat on her back, her shirt already risen up with the bottom two buttons already undone and exposing half of her stomach.
Suyeon's hands slid up his arms while his finger's traced up her sides. He let more of his body rest on hers and found himself slowly advancing towards the other buttons, toying with them. He slowed down his lips and pulled away slightly to look her in the eye. Through half-lidded eyes Suyeon breathed out through and looked at him before glancing at his hand. His fingers timidly retreated but she shook her head and nodded before cupping his face to kiss him again.
She felt him smile and the shirt loosened around her little by little. As the fabric slowly left her skin Yongguk moved his lips to her neck, breathing in her scent before beginning to ravish her sensitive flesh. Her breathing hitched and she felt her lower body jerk against his, with Yongguk growling at the contact. His lips moved down her neck, lingering on her collarbones for a second before his hands slowly slid the sleeves of the shirt off her shoulders with his lips trailing behind.
A small moan escaped Suyeon's throat and that only added fuel to the fire. Yongguk claimed her lips again, this time more urgent. Her fingers danced along his neck, tangling them in his hair before letting them wander down his torso, tugging at the hem that was hanging apart from his body. She shivered when he began moving his hands closer and closer to her covered chest and softly tugged at his lower lip with her teeth when he finally placed his hands on her.
Again he parted from her, taking a quick peek at the hot pink bra and attaching his lips to her collarbone, on the soft skin. He slowly massaged her through her bra with Suyeon breathing heavily. She bit her lower lip when he began moving down to her stomach and she followed, sitting up and placing her hands on the hem of his shirt. He gulped when Suyeon shyly lifted the shirt over his body. When he removed the last bit and tossed it aside, revealing his body that she just wanted to sink her teeth into.
He lifted her chin up and she blushed when her eyes met his. It didn't register in Suyeon's mind until that moment of what they were about to do. She was scared and nervous. Yongguk was someone she cared a great deal about and there was no doubt in her mind she wanted to be physical with him. But, all of the other boys left shortly after they got what they wanted. Once that popped into her mind she immediately took it back, Yongguk isn't and will never be like them.
Yongguk searched her eyes for an answer and smiled warmly when she put her hand on his shoulder and tugged him forward. He hovered above her, loving the feel of her skin against his. She lightly raked her nails along his back, stopping to trace out the tattoo on his left shoulder blade. As if this man couldn't be any more ier, he just had to be inked up. Suyeon arched her body towards his, the temperature rising by the second.
While his hands fumbled with the straps of her bra the front door slammed open. They parted quickly when they heard it, realizing that they never shut the door to Yongguk's room. "OH MY G-I'M SO SORRY. I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY!", Key Real and Maslo stood at the entrance, hands over their eyes while stopping their feet. Yongguk let out the most frustrated noise he could and Suyeon flushed a deep red as she yanked a pillow over herself. Yongguk stood up and shut his door loudly, too embarrassed to turn and face Suyeon, who was covering her face.
"Yongguk?", she mumbled, her voice muffled by the pillow.
He sighed and slowly turned back to face her, "Sorry.", he looked down, face also flushed. Suyeon pressed her lips together and they both began laughing at the same time. Yongguk shook his head and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Hyungs have such bad timing.", he sighed.
Suyeon giggled and reached out for his hand but he moved it.
"I...I need a second or two.", he looked away.
"Oh.", she bit her lip and diverted her eyes.
"Su, could you put your shirt back on...it's...it's a bit distracting.", he gulped.
She looked down and realized that she was indeed topless, with her bra barely covering her.
"OH! I'm sorry!", she grabbed the black shirt and buttoned it back up while Yongguk also dressed himself and paced around the room for a minute.
"I should really tell them when they can and can't show up.", he mumbled.
