I stick my nose and my palm against the car’s window, gazing upwards at my old elementary school, smiling softly. Nostalgia rushes inside me. It’s been so long since Namjoon and I come back to our hometown. And it’s been way longer since we come to our old school.

“It doesn’t change much,” I find myself mutter.

Namjoon chuckles and I hear the sound of unbuckling safety belt. I know he comes closer because I can feel the fan of his breath against the back of my neck. I turn around and we both mirroring each other smiles. “You wanna go out?” he asks. I nod enthusiastically which am rewarded with a quick kiss on the lips before Namjoon pulls away and we both get out the car.

I wait at my ground for Namjoon stands next to me. After he reaches me, we immediately interlock our fingers. It’s a habit already if we’re next to each other. We bow at the security officer when we get closer to the front gate. I halt in my steps when we are inside already, my eyes roaming at my surrounding. Namjoon looks at me in confusion when I stop.

My lips curl into a smile on its own when I spot a sandbox and there are beach toys inside. I point at it. Namjoon lifts up his gaze to where I’m pointing at. “I remember Yoona and I fought a lot there because we don’t want to share the toys.”

“Ah, yes,” Namjoon says as it hits him in realization. “You two were kinda legendary,” he and I break into giggles then he kisses my temple. Yoona and I were though, because we fought almost at everything, at everywhere. There is no teacher who doesn’t know us.
