I tear my eyes away from my phone’s screen to the hall when I hear the door opens and closes. I’m not surprised to see Jungkook because he’s the only person who has my key to my apartment besides my mother –but she isn’t in Seoul at the moment.

What surprise me is Jungkook coming in with a bouquet of roses.

My bottom jaw falls down open when he places the bouquet on my lap, sitting down on my couch beside me and arm stretches behind my frame. I blink down at his gift, questions swirling around in my head. I turn to face him and gives him an awkward smile while he just grins down at me.

“What’s this?”

His nose scrunches at my question because, no doubts, he’s thinking how stupid it is. His hand makes movement in front of the flowers, “It’s a bouquet.” He says it so slow as if he’s explaining to a child.

His body doubles over after I pinch his at his mocking tone. “I know it's a bouquet. I mean –what’s the occasion?” He loudly moans again in pain on purpose when I ignore him earlier. I, remain unbothered, check my phone before continue, “It’s six months away from our 2nd anniversary, also it’s not my birthday ‘till December. What gives?”
